#kian dealing new pressure as the crown prince??

I thought about more royalty au stuff, but!! more ideas: Ant’s the eldest so ofc he’s the crown prince, set to inherit the throne, but he goes missing during battle one day. no body, nothing. many presume him dead and, in the midst of the kingdom’s grief, proclaim kian to be the new crown prince instead (even though he’s heavily in denial and firmly believe his brother’s still alive--he won’t accept the throne). 

kian’s a great tactician but he genuinely doesn’t want the throne. he’s been groomed as the second prince and gladly took hold of his position; he doesn’t like the limelight. anthony and kennedy are diplomats through and through--people have a tendency to flock to them. there was no question that ant would be a good king, especially with the support of his siblings. emani’s nothing short of a rebellious princess, but she is good at rallying support as well. she’s great with emotions and striking people’s hearts when it counts. it’s takes very little for people to follow whatever cause she’s backing, and her newest one if finding her brother while kian & kennedy deal with things in the court.
