KHR and ML crossover.

Gina worked under Timoteo, and decided to take her granddaughter (and a few friends) away from the Lila situation, and allowed them to meet the up and coming Vongola Decimo.

Seeing some of the awful stuff that went on in the mafia’s past, she teams up with Tsuna to get revenge on the older bastards that ruined Tsuna and his friend’s lives.

THE WORLD MIGHT JUST BURN (MARINETTE: LET IT!)

 

Contrary to everyone’s (bar her family’s) expectations and knowledge Marinette Dupain-Cheng was not a normal teenage girl. Kinda difficult when your family is related to the Vongola Famiglia, the strongest Mafia family…

 

Marinette doesn’t complain, she loves her family. Her doting great aunt, Donna Daniela Vongola, was the eight boss of the Famiglia and Mari loved her. Her uncle and three oldest cousins she did like… to varied degrees… and then there is Iemitsu….

 

But she absolutely adores her fourth cousin Xanxus and the Varia. Every time she visits the Varia headquarters she has a great time. Squalo would teach her to use a sword. Lussuria would teach her about medicine and the two would play dress-up and critique fashion magazines. Mammon would teach her about money and how to invest them after she bribes them with some strawberry macaroons/cake. She would have bake-time with Levi (she is not-so-secretly his second favorite person). She would also spend time with her now boyfriend Prince Belphegor, cue dreamy sigh; they would play video games together, the more gore the better in her opinion. She is the undisputed winner so she holds the title of Video-game Princess or Principessa. He even gave her a tiara that matches his! She steers clear of Otabio, he creeps her out and makes her intuition go high-wire, that had to say something…

 

Her cousin would train her in everything and anything so that she can protect herself. That and because he low-key enjoys the afternoon naps with an exhausted Mari, she is extra cuddly.

 

So, yes, Marinette is not a normal girl. It explains why she doesn’t freak out when Tikki appears suddenly in front of her in a glob of light. She’s been Varia trained since little. She is QUALITY.

 

She’s surprised. Yes. But she’s also cold, calculative, assessing. Searching for ways to escape if things go FUBAR. And when she’s sure there’s no threat, and in front of her lies a friendly ladybug-fairy like being, well, Marinette just says hello and offers the ancient being a chocolate chip cookie, you know, polite stuff.

 

As the small goddess explains, munching on her cookie, that she’s been chosen to be a ladybug themed superhero and defeat a megalomaniac that can posses people using FREAKING butterflies. Merde! What is my life becoming?! Not for the first time in five years Marinette wishes that her uncle hadn’t frozen her favorite cousin. She HATES him for it. Because, right now, she is just done with people’s bullshit, ugh, Xanxus and the Varia’s colored vocabulary’s been rubbing on to her and she wants to bitch to her favorite person about the shit show that’s her life.

 

So she accepts to help just once. And tells Tikki so. When the kwami asks why, Marinette tells her that SHE might not want to partner up with the girl when she finds out more about herself. Because if she has to be a superhero with a little goddess in her pocket then she would damn well let her partner know who she(?) will be dealing with. Mostly civilian or not. She is Vongola. She is Mafia. And her parents need to know that their kid runs around defeating temporary super-powered villains. There is no way Marinette would keep this from them. Her parents wouldn’t mind. Not really. They know she is well trained. They would fuss and worry about her either way. Their way of showing how much they love her. Xanxus (if available) and his elements would just up her training and beat her into the ground. Repeatedly. Better they do it and she learns how to avoid it than have her killed on the field.

 

She deals with Stoneheart fast enough. Captures the butterfly and purges it of the corrupted magic. Her partner is mostly useless since he appears close to the ending of the fight. That’s fine, they can work on his response time, and civilian identities can get in the way. He seems to have some formal training, fencing most likely, from the forms he uses. That’s good, she can work with that. And then… He starts making horrible puns and doesn’t pay enough attention to the fight. That’s okay, she can beat sense into him later if Tikki decides to stay with her. He is clearly thinking this is a game and checks her out too much for her to feel comfortable. That won’t do. The ‘this is a game’ mentality can be beaten out of him, but him checking her out will end bad. She has a Stab-happy psychotic Prince as a boyfriend! There is no way this wouldn’t end BAD. That one has to GO!

 

All in all, she is so calling Mammon to see if they can track down either Hawkmoth or Nooroo at the end of the day.

This is mostly crack and Mari is OOC.

Decided to write some more for this.

Two Days Ago

After a few days, Tsuna started to get a hang on the rhythm of things. Once orientation was finished, he quickly (tried to) adjust to being the CEO of VI. It took him a while, but he was able to defeat his greatest enemy... paperwork. Once he hit the bottom of the pile, however, his blood ran cold. He discovered an official memo for a field trip taking place a few days from now. 

Obviously, he had to take this up with Reborn. Apparently, a Ms Dupain-Cheng had signed up for a week long work study about a month ago. While he had no issue with that, a question still needed an answer:

“Why was this placed at the bottom of all that paperwork? Wouldn’t it be better to have been prepared earlier than now?”

“Simple Dame-Tsuna, I thought it would be funny.”

“...You’re the devil.”

So Tsuna had to prepare for a fairly large field trip with only a few days notice. While it took a LOT of work, but he was able to corral both his and Enma’s Guardians to help prepare a local hotel and to set up tours and some intern work for 15 students and their teacher for about a week. 

Tsuna could only hope that everyone could be on their best behavior for that long.

Present Day

Marinette was shocked. When she had signed up for this work study program, nothing could have prepared her for the smoking mess that was the lobby. She could practically feel the stares from everyone else in her class. The brunet had this defeated look in his eyes, before he decided to do something.

He then walked over to mess of people still fighting in the lobby, and shouted something in Japanese she couldn’t recognize. The fighting quickly stopped, and he pulled two people who were not a part of the all out brawl: a tall, tanned Japanese boy and a purple haired girl with an eyepatch.

He then began to speak in shakey, but understandable English, “I’m sorry for the mess my associates has caused. If you all would be so kind as to follow my friend Takeshi, he would be more than willing to escort you to your hotel.”

As the class began to collect there things, he added, “However, can Ms Dupain-Cheng please stay behind, as there are some things we need to discuss.”

The class’s reactions varied, from concern to indifference to smug. (Kim looked like he was trying not to say something along the lines of “You’re in trouble”). Once the class had made there way out, Tsuna had asked the girl - Chrome (?) - to escort her to his office, while he handled the mess.

As Marinette was lead through the halls, she couldn’t help but admire the decor. The walls, while being simple and practical, were smartly decorated. There was a long stretch of wall with a set of paintings of - who she could only assume were - past CEOs, starting with a blond version of Tsuna, and ending with the brunet himself. She had stopped for a bit to admire the eighth painting: a beautiful dark haired woman with pink flowers across the side of her face. She must have been staring for a while, as the violet haired woman - Chrome? She thought that was her name - softly cleared her throat. Sheepishly, Marinette rubbed the back of her head and followed her into the office.

As Tsuna wasn’t in yet, Mari tried to make small talk with Chrome. She made quick notice of the long, spiky earrings she was wearing. 

“Your earrings are really cool.”

“Oh... thank you. Your’s are cute too,” she replied in her soft voice. 

Her hands brushed the silver studs she was wearing. Unfortunately, she could not bring Tikki with her across the continent, as a safety precaution. However, Master Fu allowed her to carry a few Miraculouses, just in case. She had swapped out her normal earrings for some nice silver studs her grandmother had given her as a gift a while back.

Fortunately, Tsuna soon came into the office to start the meeting. “I want to start with an apology. I’m sure this wasn’t what you where expecting when you signed up for the program.”

That was an understatement. “Yeah, the flaming drapes were a bit of a shock.” That brought a smile to his face.

Tsuna then started walking towards a large painting of the blond man from before, surrounded by a set of other men. “You see, my ancestor Giotto had started this company as a way to help the helpless. The business was passed down through the bloodline, but had entered the hands of some... less than stellar individuals.” He then gestured to another painting, this time of a kind looking old man surrounded by friends, “The previous boss, Timoteo, had wanted to undertake the process to reform the Vongola, but didn’t get the chance to start the process until he was much too old. After some... accidents involving his sons, I was placed as the head in training, as I was directly related to the first boss.” She could tell, dye his hair blond and they could be twins.

He then continued, “My tutor decided it would be best to allow me to run the company as a trial run, of sorts. While I was against it, he had forced my hand.” ‘Quite literally,’ she thought he muttered. “While I could handle things to a degree, my friends are a bit... high-spirited as you could tell. Once again, I deeply apologize for the damage they had caused. I hope they did not ruin the image you had built up for Vongola International.” He ended his apology with a deep bow, to which she had to respect.

“It’s no big deal, they were just a bit over enthusiastic, that’s all. I’m just a bit worried about how my class are reacting.”

“That’s... entirely fair, actually. Trust me, I’ve known them for a few years now. They could have been worse.” His facade of a cool, confident CEO had cracked a bit, showing that he was just a confused teenager trying his best. Honestly, mood. 

“They should be just about done with cleanup,” They? He then clapped his hands together, “Well, with that settled, allow me to walk you to your hotel. You should begin to settle in, and I need to lay down the ground rules for the next few days.” 

As the three of them walked away, Marinette couldn’t help but think this trip had potential.

Not far from Tsuna’s office, a set of snickers and some scribbling could be heard. The French group needed to prepare themselves for some Rainbow based chaos.

And done! I’m proud of the altered version of the Vongola Famiglia history Tsuna told her. It sounds just real enough for her to not ask questions.

It would be really funny if Xifeng coincidentally took a trip to Paris on the day Fu decided to pass out the Miraculous. And he gave her one. But since she was only there for the week, Xifeng just leaves the country with a miraculous box. So the first time an akuma appeared there was no Ladybug and that’s when Fu knew he had made a mistake.

I see a lot of Miraculous crossover ships on Tumblr. Don’t get me wrong, I love a lot of them. Spideybug is nice and pure. @ozmav ‘s Damian Wayne is surprisingly refreshing.

Tsuna x Marinette: Clothing

Marinette is horrified to learn Tsuna fights against guns (and other dangerous stuff) in street clothes. He somehow finds nothing wrong with this, but Marinette finds plenty. This results in Marinette creating stylish, but functional, fashion that can withstand a bullet. Don’t ask how she tested to make sure it does.

Of course, this escalates until Marinette is designing formal wear for Tsuna and that’s where Reborn draws the line. Tsuna needs to wear an actual name brand suit, not some amateur designer’s stuff. But Tsuna isn’t having it. He promised Marinette he would wear it. He assured her he would rather wear her designs than some expensive suit. Tsuna refuses to go back on his word. 

People don’t speak of the fight that occurred over this. But it ends with Tsuna wearing Marinette’s suit and Reborn never bringing the matter up again.
