Our 5-Day-Hike through the Groot Winterhoek was marvellous. The hike to die Hel is best done in 2 days with a stop-over at the huts (e.g. Klipspringer Hut which is the nicest one of the batch). The cave at die Hel shows a magnificent display of Bushmen rock art and the rockpool is the biggest in the Western Cape and crowns the hike with a nice refreshment. We decided to sleep outdoors and in the cave which is also an incredible experience. This is another experience in itself.
