Excuse the very Very VERY amateur work. First time actually drawing people on Photoshop, and with a mouse… Here’s one of my takes on what happened between the final battle with Mio and Usagi’s wedding in the Special Act.

Minako was NOT happy Rei got herself hurt. And after not seeing each other for so long only to find Rei like this, and both of them back to arguing, Minako couldn’t stand the tension and ended up taking drastic measure. Kiss the girl she fell for since she was fourteen.  ;D That could explain why the shoulder bump during Usagi’s wedding was so awkward for the two of them.  Headcanon maybe?

Anyway. After this attempt, I can surely say I am way better at making fanvideo than making fanart.  All my PGSM work can be found here.

PROGRESS UPDATE 5

If all goes well, I should be able to have the video uploaded in ~2hours! :D

Once I have this done. I'll then work on the behind-the-scenes video from Miyuu. To the anon who suggested I reach out to Miyuu about helping her with close-caption, or sending in my translation, I've not heard back from Miyuu. (Not that I ever expected to.)

EDIT: The video is done. but I need to split it into 3 parts to upload to YouTube... The video is around 25min long, but max upload length is 15min. So I'm just splitting it by the natural commercial breaks...

What should the alt title to PGSM be for a Parks and Rec opening theme parody? I’m hoping for a title that follows the format of “X and Y”.

When you’ve used the same 50 episodes to make fanvideos for years that you’ve reached a point of needing to forge new scenes (however poorly done that they are)  just so you can switch things up a tiny bit... Not featured: the many photoshopped stills I’ve also created to use in my videos along the way.

Nickname: So the online name I created is essentially gibberish (Khmyh), but I used it often enough now that some of my gaming friends call me Kimmy or Kim. 

Star Sign: I’m a Cancer, and I definitely fulfill the “homebody” stereotype of a Cancer sign.  I’m not the biggest fan of water though!  

Height: 5.1″  (I’m short af among my friends)

Last film I saw: If we are talking about any film that I saw recently, I just rewatched Guardian of the Galaxy vol 1 and 2 this past weekend.  If we are talking about any film I’ve newly watched - The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky.

Favorite musician: hmm this is a hard one because I listen to many random songs and typically go through songs for the purpose of finding inspiration for fanvid, fanart or fanfic. Needless to say that leads to many angsty song because I will forever drown in PGSM Reinako feels. Otherwise I mostly listen to soundtracks. There are a feel singers/groups I go back to often enough though, so here goes:

Utada Hikaru (Japanese/English): goddess singer of the Kingdom Hearts series. Nuff said.

Sleeping At Last (English):  I really like their songs and musics. Saturn’s like my all time favourite! 

Kalafina (Japanese):  The harmonious singing is godly and consistently gives me ear orgasm. 

Imagine Dragons (English): I love most of their songs! Some of their songs are especially good for making fun fanvideos! 

Favourite soundtracks:  The Greatest Showman, Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy Type-0, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth

Other Blogs: @honest-khmyh - my main blog and where I started.  I only migrated to creating Real Life Senshi because my love for bumbleby (RWBY) and SwanQueen (Once Upon A Time) started to saturate my Sailor Moon content.  Now the blog is forever a mess and I just do whatever I want with it.

Do I Get Asks: Rarely. I don’t mind asks and get excited by them, but I also know I’m too busy and sporadic with my presence and original content creation that I probably don’t want to prompt ask lest I just end up ignoring people...

Blogs following: ...343.  I...I don’t know how... Actually... I know. I followed a bunch of autumn, snow/winter and Christmas blog between Aug-Dec 2018 because life was rough. Should clean up my dash... 

What I’m Wearing: Joggers and t-shirt because I’m home right now.  

Dream job: Honestly I have no clue. I’m currently already working at what I used to consider my dream job, and I’m almost feeling ready to move on. I’m not a long term planner especially when it comes to career...  Maybe a university faculty adviser? I do intend to stay working in Student Affairs.

Dream Trip: Meh, not much of a traveler.  Japan to do all the shopping esp at Square Enix?   If I can include a fantasy location, then I’d love to visit the Digital World from Digimon and meet my partner Digimon! 

Play any instruments: Kinda? I can play a bit of piano and used to know how to play the guitar.  I mostly just shower sing.

Languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, English.  Can understand Japanese with context, but can’t really speak it or read it. 

Favorite foods: (okay why are those questions so hard????)    There are many ways I can go about this... Let’s see: my mom’s cooking, hot pot, winter/Christmas treats, cheese, steak, hot chocolate, etc. 

Random facts:

I’m a Ravenclaw from Pottermore and my friend’s interpretation of me. I had always thought I was a Hufflepuff though until proven wrong by literally anyone who knows me... So I self-identify as Ravenpuff. lol

I’m the “gamer” among my friend group, but honestly I don’t think I’m that good at it, I’m just crazy about Kingdom Hearts and won’t shut up about KH3, and also because I just enjoy gaming and am vocal about playing video games being my way of self-care.

My love language is physical touch and quality time.

My first full exposure to Sailor Moon is PGSM during middle school when I was going through rough times of being bullied. I did grow up knowing about the Sailor Moon series and being surrounded by old SM anime merch, but it just never stuck with me and I never cared. But BAM! PGSM’s storytelling knocked the wind out of me and got me emotional given the different relationships and sacrifices the show portrays. The Senshi’s relationship was everything I wanted from my group of friends back then and just really struck a cord. That’s how I end up becoming a long time fan to the series. 

I started video editing and writing fanfiction around the same time. That’s  9 years ago now... (Yikes!)

I have a super long PGSM fanfiction that I’m still working on till this day, but have been on hiatus for over 4 years now because I just can’t finish that one chapter I’m stuck on. OTL
