The Difference Between 동안 and 째
First, they both translate to “during.”
But there’s some small practical differences.
째 is typically used for ongoing actions and for a specific period of time.
동안 is typically usually used for past events, or events that have finished by now. It is also used just for a duration of time, not as specific as 째.
