lemonade stand

“What are you doin’?” Red laughed.

You puffed your cheeks and huffed. “I am trying to run a business,” you said. “My nieces put this lemonade stand together and they asked me to run it while they had lunch, so I’m being nice.”

Red snickered, taking in your set up. The table and chair were clearly meant for someone smaller than you. Your knees were up to your chin as you sat there. The sign on the table was clearly yours though, if the art was anything to go by. “You’re super nice,” he said. “How’s it goin’?”

You sighed a little. “The girls went in half an hour ago and you’re the only customer we’ve had all day.”

“Well, guess I better give ya a little boost, then, huh?” Red pulled a quarter out of nowhere. “25 cents a cup, right?”

“Right.”

You held out your hand for the coin, but Red held it out of your reach. “Can I have a cup on the house if I help ya sell everything ya got?” he asked with a grin.

“If you help sell everything,” you said, your grin matching his, “I think I can give you a cup on the house and a bit more besides.”

“Then watch me work.”

You’d never really seen Red selling stuff, but it quickly became clear that he had a knack for it. He raised the table a bit and found two slightly taller chairs, and then he just sat there at the table with you and somehow, customers came. Red took the money and you poured the drinks. By the time your nieces came back out, he’d sold their entire stock of lemonade and made a tidy little profit. The girls’ eyes nearly popped out of their heads.

“Wow!” they cried. “We’ll have to make a whole new batch of lemonade! How’d you do it, Auntie?”

“It wasn’t me,” you said. “It was Uncle Red.”

Red flushed at the name, and the hugs he got. “No problem,” he said. “But you’re gonna have to get somebody else to help ya make more, girls. I’m takin’ Auntie Kezi out for her lunch break.”

“Okay…”

With that, Red wrapped an arm around you and took a shortcut. “I’ll take my free glass later,” he said as the two of you appeared outside of Grillby’s, “but I’ll take the extra compensation you promised me now, if ya don’t mind.”

“I hope you don’t mind being paid in kisses,” you giggled, and you paid him handsomely.

Red's new outfit!

All the boiz have been changing up their outfits, it's become some kinda dare almost at this point.

This one was hard tho T_T

I love his old outfit so much but really wanted to try for something new...

And well I dig it. I'd steal that jacket XDD

His old jacket is still there for him... (or me XDDD) and he plans on handing it down to his son, when Silas is big enough to fit into it. But yeah for now it's thrown over his desk chair in our room, for if he needs it. Ye Red is kinda attached to the old thing, he's been through so much with it... which is why this change is good for him.

His sleeveless jumper came about cuz I was thinking of him in that big coat during summer and tho skelle's don't feel temperature as much as us I thought he might appreciate the lack of an extra layer of sleeve. Also tis kinda hot. . . Ya know in summer XDDD ;)

But ye what do you think? Do you like it as much as I do?

Day 3: Playing Games

Even apart they can play together. Although he can’t be there to help her, he can help her level up and she can stlll make his day brighter. it’s these little things that they hold onto, and the hope this won’t last forever that will help them through untill they can hold eachother again in a heartfelt embrace.

You and Red, at least once, have committed a couple crime by stealing a plush animal out of one of those claw game machines, because you both spent a lot of money trying to get that one thing the both of you really wanted but the machine kept screwing you over.

I mean it was pretty easy to do with Reds blue magic and ...

Wait what... I mean nope no crimes here....

Expectations vs Reality

I used to imagine the top picture when I thought of cuddling and sleeping with Red but... came to the realization that Red’s a gremlin and I don't stay still in my sleep so It's probably much closer to the second pic XDDD

This could also be first night verses a year of marriage.

But hey both versions make me happy. The second maybe a tad more tho.
