got out of the loop of drawing for a while before Artfight, so I asked my friend @kettlebird-casual what prompt I should use to get back into it with, and they suggested "garrote" - so here are two complete professionals just getting ready for a con... So, I wanted to draw @kettlebird-casual’s / @kettle-bird’s character, and I didn’t know what to make him do so I just thought “why not give him sunglasses to make him feel cool or smth”

Born of unholy congress between a vampiress seeking power and an unknown otherworldly being, Mosquito was abandoned by his mother early in his childhood for his inhuman appearance. Left to die in the woodlands of the blueridge mountains, a young Mo was found and taken in by a coven of witches who saw him as a conduit to the world beyond the veil.

Now an adult, he wanders the wide range of the Appalacian region, leading hunters astray with his song so he can feed upon their blood.

He has never forgotten the woman who abandoned him- and as he grows stronger, so too does his desire for vengeance...

A last minute AF ref of my oc Mosquito, who desperately needed an update. He's the maternal half-brother of Felix, sharing the same vampiric mother.

Sixer is an interesting character for me to explore. I haven't really talked much about his story publicly, but within his world he is both a celebrity spaceship racer and an organism genetically modified to appeal to human taste and aesthetic. Although he is not living out his original intended purpose (his creators had much more diplomatic aspirations for him), his fame has still come at the cost of the commodification of himself and his image for the consumption of the public- did he ever really escape his predetermined destiny?

Felix Carrow: The Hanged Man, Devil of the Mojave, Menace of Thrift Stores Everywhere

Born seemingly human in Arizona sometime in the mid 1800's and raised by cattleherds as a foundling, Felix Santiago Carrow never knew his true parentage. A problem child from a young age, Felix would grow up to become a notorious outlaw, racking up an extensive criminal record until his capture at age 34, which in turn lead to his execution for his crimes. Before his hanging, he swore to return from the grave, and that he'd bring Hell with him when he did. He was buried in a shallow grave, the noose still around his neck. Little to anyone's knowledge, including his own, he had vampiric blood latent in his veins, awakened by his untimely death. A month after his burial, he rose from the dead, ready to fulfill his promise...

Finally made a new ref for this old OC o' mine! He's been long overdue for one lol.

I also have an underwear version of this up on my FA account for those who are interested and over the age of 18! Nothing too scandalous but I still didn't want to risk posting to the mercy of the Tumblr flagging system.
