Oreana's is basically anything with chocolate, really. XD But if you come to her with chocolate covered strawberries, she will devour them without thought.

Ignatius is a strawberry and cream. They both seem to be strawberry fanatics the more I think about it, haha.

Create a bouquet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?

Oreana: any lotus flowers, forget-me-nots, and irises. The forget-me-nots she loves close to lotus flowers. Mainly because, being a dream walker, you never know the next or last time you'll see someone. So if she ever can gift these to someone special, she will.

Ignatius: Lilies, Begonias, and Bleeding Hearts. He never thinks deeply about their meanings. He just finds them to be beautiful. Begonias are his favorite out of all of them in terms of appearance. ♥

Is there a particular quote / lyric that you associate with them?

Oreana: To see the sun again I'd give anything But life demands a final chapter A story that we all must leave behind It's do or die, and this is mine The anthem of a bird with a broken wing

That entire song by Owl City is like her anthem in a way, really. It's a great song of theirs I highly recommend.

Ignatius: Gotta be honest, never thought of his before. Hmm. But there is a quote of his he said in my mind that I have to get down really, so here it be. As I feel it fits him:

"I am certain he would have preferred the honor of living in your heart in the end, then having not at all. Be him no longer with you, you keep his soul alive by dreaming of him just as...I would hope the same for myself, in time." ♥

Tell me a fun fact about yourself! And maybe also for two or three of your characters?

A fun fact about me... Hmmm. I was offered a comic book deal when I was in high school, but I turned it down for obvious reasons. I was in high school, for one, but for two, I just didn't have the hardware to really make it look professional. XD; Besides, looking back on my art then, I'm glad I didn't go through with it. Oof, I needed to grow as an artist. I dunno what they saw there to offer it to me but here we are.

Oh my characters? Yeee!

Oreana:

♥Because of all the red in the brothel she was apart of and even painted on her skin, Oreana has come to loath and fear the color red.

♥ The journal given to her by the patron was said to be a way to soothe her and give her a means to escape in an almost literal sense. In his world, certain book crafters could make enchanted pages of books where you could teleport yourself into the world(s) made in the pages. Oreana could only blame the brothel's magic restricting field for not allowing it to work. (Kudos if you get what this is referencing via video games).

♥ Inwardly, she does love scythe weapons even if it continues to play into her grim reaper reputation she's gained. She never admits this except to those she's comfortable around.

Ignatius/Ignis:

♥Always one to execute plans accordingly, he's constantly checking the time (sometimes out of habit). He hates the chime of the midnight and 3 AM hours as that was precisely when his kingdom fell to Ferverus' attack and his queen was announced dead. Even if he sees the time is noon or 3 PM, he cringes at the memories regardless.

♥ Some believe Ignis doesn't need his glasses at all as he often takes them off right before he transforms. They may or may not hold some sort of special ability he doesn't tell others of.

♥ He is actually from a Steampunk/ Fantasy world; thus the gear look on his watch. The Roman numerals are a small wink and nod at his name and appearance being an ode to one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters.

2) Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

That's a toughie! I would say I am most looking forward to writing that Ocarina of Time thing I've had swirling around in my mind for several months as well as continuing to plan out Oreana's actual story (whenever I can get back to it XD).

4) Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

You’re far more emotional than other creatures, and that leads you into situations that are never in your best interest but others’. I'm proud of that entire exchange as I feel humans are emotional creatures that can have their judgements clouded when someone does one simple (or even many) good deeds to another. They say 'yes' to a situation that can lead them to misery or worse, all because someone seemed nice.

I'm often quite guilty of this, and I think even when others do something nice for me, they want it repaid. I wanted the whole talk to be more like: "I did something good for you, but you don't owe me anything. Just follow your heart. Be happy. That's what I want for you."

24) Would you say your writing has changed over time?

Oh goodness, yes. XD; In fact...you can see some of my mega old writings from 2004 if you dig deep enough on MediaMiner and FF.net. Heh.. lol

But, one of the main things I am happy that has changed is my ability to world build a bit better without too many crutches. Even recently, about 2020, I was heckin' guilty of constantly putting two if not more sentences together with 'ands/buts/ors'. it drove me insane to see. X"D I'm glad that's died out, and I'm far more careful there! ♥

10) Top three favourite fic tropes.

Oh gosh...fic tropes... Mm.. My number one fave has got to be enemies to lovers. XD Whether that enemy is batshit insane or not is just what I love about it. Having someone come along and calm them in some way (or not) is enjoyable to write about. Royalty is another because--I dunno. I love imagining my faves as rulers. X3

The one bed is getting to me lately, I must admit... I love this too much to let it go now. Makes the two have a reason to at least be close on that first night maybe.

28) Any writing advice that works for you and you feel like sharing?

HAH! Okay, you got me in return with that one. X"D

Umm, okay--so here's a weird one.

Whenever I am caught trying to think of something to write or what to write, I usually look at art pieces like this. A thousand questions pop into my head regarding "who is in the house? Why is she here? What is around her? Does she live alone?" All of these start to slowly create ideas on their own.

I'll do the same thing with even stuff in video games. In some areas you cannot explore (houses or otherwise--especially in old retro games), I make up thoughts in my head about what goes on there, and then a story just kinda comes to be.

37) Do you research before writing or while you write? Is it fun or boring for you?

Yes! If I have to use some sort of herb that might alleviate pain, I have to go down a list and find out what works.

When I wrote for Assassin's Creed I had to do a L O T of studying for the Victorian Era and all of those timelines in history I wrote for, just to make sure I was being authentic. When I wrote for a reader having tuberculosis, found out it was called consumption disease at the time. I even found a time map of what patients did during what hour of the day and night when bedridden in the hospital with it. (A lot of wet food they had to eat and milk to drink if I remember right).

7) what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?

Oh man, that's a toughie. A stingray, I guess. I was 13 or so when I got to pet one, and I thought they were the cutest things ever!

18) your boba/tea order?

Now, being a southerner, I usually go with the sweet tea no matter what. X"D BUT--working at a bookstore where I get 40% off my teas, I do love whenever we get the blueberry teas in. I've not seen them in awhile though.. Q_Q

25) would you say you have good taste in music?

*Looks at her list of music full of Blue by Eiffel65, a bunch of random 80s music, video game heavy metal covers, 5 diff covers of Moonlight Shadow and LOZ MM Deku Palace theme, and caramell dansen* Umm...I guess that depends your definition of good taste...XD;
