The first few steps out of Mongrel were easy enough - there were no signs of any Fogmen out on the road- not that we'd see them, the fog was so damn thick.

It was hard traveling with such a large group, my new friends and the mercs were too clumsy for us to sneak through like I had when I came to Mongrel alone. Honestly sneaking would be too slow- and the howls across the mountains was a reminder that we couldn't afford to be slow.

The mercs I hired to bodyguard were apparently the hot blooded sort, we had a clear path all we had to do was keep running but no they had to charge the Fogmen- their heads fetched a heafty bounty afterall- that's all fine and good but that's not what I paid you for. We got separated from our guard and swarmed by split of the horde when we tried to run. The Dregs aren't far now, we should be able to make it.

FINN MY MAN! Well my skeleton, not MY skeleton mind- ANYWAY he saw us running away from another pack of Fogmen right as we came up on the border. Guess cannibal bugmen doesn't scare you much when you've got no meat to eat- he was able to carry Crumblejon back while Shryke, Beep and I ran for safety - they got Yunomi though. I knew I should've left the kid behind in Mongrel but... No this isn't the time for regrets- she's a resourceful girl she can buy herself some time, the mercs I hired apparently survived their little skirmish with minimum injury and I found a woman who knows where the Fogmen are held up at, Finn's coming too, we'll save her.

I've never found Shek women more attractive than I did seeing those two beauties standing atop a mountain of Fogmen corpses with Yunomi behind them. The mercs were disappointed they were skivved out of a fight but who cares. Yunomi was a bit battered but she was whole and more importantly ALIVE. We'll take her back to Sanctuary to heal- she insisted she could walk but no way I was letting her with as bad as her legs were- she's lucky to keep them. I'll have a talk with her if she still wants to travel with me, I don't want to put her through that again but- she did survive in large part to her own capabilities I can't just baby her. Still after everyone heals we can talk it over.

Dunno how much Kenshi is known on this platform but ive been having quite a lot of fun (getting my **** kicked in) ever since I bought it a year and a half ago.

While sketching my future artfight attack I also decided to do my first ever Kenshi sketch of my current character, Pryscia the Exiled.

Shek warrior who has the name implies, has been exiled for the Shek kingdom and is on a quest to win back the respect of a society that values strenght and martial prowess.

My first try at her, but definitly not the last.

Ive started this game a couple of months ago. Tried it before but it didnt click. But with my pc recently breaking and only having a notebook i decided to give it another chance.

And now here i stand 210 in game days later with 100+ hours invested into one playthrough.

I remember the humble beginning with Zan. Just trying to painfully level up martial arts by luring bandits into the Bar outside of the hub. It was painful, slow and inefficient but it kept me going, it gave me drive. Upon my friends suggestion i eventually recruited Ruka, my first party member.

As i continued playing i made my first goal of the playthrough to defeat the exiles outside of the shek kingdom. By painfully kiting them and picking them off one at a time, the party eventually succeeded. Their tiny little Exile camp became our base of operations for the time being.

Yet eventually i realised this game had base building. So right between stack and the hub established the town of Miqdash. I was scared of prayer day, having exactly one human at the time, but to my luck they got stuck.

In my playthrough i first dismantled the holy Nation and gave it to shek. I then destroyed Tengu for Tinfist and the anti slavers. The more Miqdash grew, the stronger Zan became, the closer i came to my ultimate goal.

Defeat cat-lon

After having beaten the bugmaster i decided it was time. On day 210 all of Miqdash stood before Cat-Lons exile. I was scared of the 100 stormthralls waiting for me, but with cunning planning we beat them all with no casualties.

Then Zan confronted with his trusted Daughter Seto and his first three companions Ruka, Rane and Hep. It took all the man power they had, but eventually the group defeated the Mad Cat-Lon

I am pretty happy to know that Kenshi 2 is in the works. Such a great game, but visually kinda difficult to deal with.

kenshi adventures continue

i started in the holy nation slave start with me(cass) and a bugman(Metaru)

in a failed escape attempt i lost my leg, meanwhile my bugman had been building up his sneak and assassin skills instead of trying a brute force plan. he eventually succeeded at freeing not just himself but another slave, a shek man named Little. it was a really funny name honestly because Little is MASSIVE. he joined metaru's cru and they met burns in the flotsam. then they wandered down to the hub, getting their asses kicked many times along the way. eventually they defeated a shek exile lady's crew but couldn't turn in the bounty because she died and her body vanished when the fighting was done. but this really rough fight ended up turnin burns into the ultimate tank with massive toughness. we continued to train and fight.

eventually to make money we became hashish smugglers running from the swamp to flats lagoon and making a fortune, recruiting a few more guys. in mourn Miu started researching technology in a little shack we bought. over time we turned our smuggling operation into a growing operation and now we have a hydroponics compound right in the middle of mourn. we hired a girl named Adi and left her in charge of production. at this point we had a decent sized crew of experiences fighters and decided to head towards rebirth to break out Cass. we met agnu along the way in the tower of pain or whatever its called.

when we marched on rebirth, there were no survivors. limbs were flying everywhere, holy paladin heads being cracked open. Little is a damn juggernaut and burns is an unkillable blademaster. agnu is full of pure unadulterated rage and caved okranites heads in with his bare hands. while Cass was languishing in her cell, Metaru studied the blade, so he did some pretty massive damage too despite being a bit weaker than the main juggernauts. Ruka was swinging her meitou polearm we got from screamer the false and ponk. i had hamut and miu on archer duty but they lost their bows because they got enslaved and i couldnt find them in the aftermath when i broke them out. in the end we freed Cass and a couple other shek, a guy named Double who lost his arm trying to escape on his own, and a girl shek named Soo. now im genociding a holy nation farm for the hell of it

The holy nation is outright stupid. So, I may have escalated things in my kenshi save, they managed to actually kill one of my guys, so, I kidnapped one of their top military officers and handed him over to the flotsam ninjas, a rebel group for the holy nation.

Anyways, they sent a full frontal attack on my fort. They sent a full frontal attack in a fort with no ranged weapons. One would think that maybe the holy nation would bother with basic intelligence gathering or just realize that the gate being open isn’t a good thing. Anyways, they walked into a kill box haphazardly, without so much as a single guy able to return fire. I picked their inquisitor’s unconscious body from the wreckage before patching him up and taking him to the shek kingdom.

Anyway the holy nation just lost one of their top military officials due to incompetent tactics.

I love harsh and bleak worlds, especially ones I can change, because I have an "I can fix her" sort of mentality with those types of games, and find that sort of fantasizing very interesting. So, I decided to write up a plan to turn Kenshi into (somewhat) of a utopia. So without further ado, here is my multi-stage plan to (unethically) turn Kenshi into a utopia.Oh also, this is impossible to do in game.

Step One: Ally with the Shek.

The Shek may be a somewhat genocidal ethnostate, but they are the least bad of the three major factions in my opinion, and may cooperate with the plan, and if they don't, we can take control of their government fairly easily by challenging Esata to a battle and having Cyber Beep wreck their ass.

Step Two: Assassinate Holy Lord Phoenix, and imprison the high inquisitors(for their knowledge of the holy nation) and take control of the holy nation

The holy nation may not cooperate, but the shek are strong enough to distract the holy nation, and the anti-slavers and mercs can be used to quell rebellions. It is imperative to keep their mining equipment and farming equipment, and to minimize the casualties, though. We will immediately stop the war in the United Cities, and give them their dumbass land.

Step Three: Start slowly freeing slaves and discouraging discriminationWe can't shock the holy nation into a slaveless and diverse nation, we will have to slowly start passing laws around slavery until slaves can't be abused as much, and enough laws around discrimination so that a hiver can't just be enslaved for the crime of existing around stack. Also, once non-humans and women have rights and can work, so efficiency of the farms will increase quite a bit.

Step Four: Tear down the statue of Holy Lord Phoenix and free the slaves of rebirth

This may seem like a stupid decision, but to my knowledge, the only thing rebirth slaves do to my knowledge is build a big-ass statue and waste precious resources.

Step Five: Use the Resources from Rebirth to Encourage People to build farms

By giving people who start up farms tax cuts and free resources from the ruins of rebirth, we can get a lot of excess food, and also have less of a need for slaves, as well as giving jobs to people, so we won't have massive hordes of hungry bandits killing people and stealing their food.

Step Six: Settle in Shem

This will just boost the amounts of food and other resources we can produce massively, and will also make traveling shem a lot safer.

Step Seven: Start sell large amounts of food to the UC

Since we have an excess of food from our other exploits, we can most likely undercut the prices of the food produced by the UC, giving us plenty of cats in the process.

Step Eight: Build Outposts outside of the hiver villages.

This may seem stupid, but we can give lost hivers a place to stay, and also plenty of free labor and soldiers, which will come in handy later.

Step Nine: Wait for the UC to put tariffs on imports

Because we are undercutting the cost of food produced by the UC, the UC will probably start putting tariffs on imports, which may seem bad, but...

Step Ten: Use the tariffs as an excuse to go to war

At this point, we will be more powerful than the UC, with the more powerful holy nation and the shek kingdom on our side, and we can start a war with the UC.

Step Eleven: Assassinate Emperor Tengu and install a puppet governor

Little did Tengu know, but there was a skeleton crossbowman who had been waiting above his throne room for him to declare war, and immediately JFK his ass the second he does. The person who replaces Tengu will be a spy from our side, and will immediately surrender.

Step Twelve: Launch attacks against the slaver work camp

The combined forces of the three biggest factions will spell death for the slavers.

Step Thirteen: Abolish Slavery and make being poor legal again

Rather self explanatory, isn't it? Dissenters will be few and far between, due to the large amounts of freed slaves.

Step Fourteen: Reintroduce Garrus, Beak things, and Gorillos into the Cannibal Plains

Cannibalism is not a sustainable practice, as diseases can spread much quicker through eating people, and is therefore biologically discouraged. The cannibals would much rather eat animals than people, as it's coded in their DNA, and once they start eating animals, they probably will stop eating people. Also, release cleaner units to de-toxicify the land(read step 16-17).

Step Fifteen: Make peace with both hives

Maybe by a gift, or by new robot guard, but the hives can probably be satisfied with relative ease, which will come in handy later.

Step Sixteen: Kidnap a bunch of cleaning units from the ashlands

Hear me out, also it's not that hard because we allied with the southern hive

Step Seventeen: Make the machines work

They will start cleaning the southern portion, and make the land more hospitable to life besides landbats, and also make more of them to clean up the rest of kenshi.

Step Seventeen: Do Shenanigans in the foglands

Basically set up a wall around it, as well as killing all the fogmen in it, so the fog islands will be safe to settle in. It may be a genocide, but they are literally bipedal animals at that point. If they can be cured, cure them instead, but they probably can't. Also, make friends with mongrel.

Step Eighteen: End the Reavers

I hate them, send them into the same peeler with Savant

Step Nineteen: legalize hash to improve relations with the swamp people

And maybe kill off a couple rogue bandit groups. You can also start settling there for free meat and farmland.

Step Twenty: Bask in your (sort of) Utopia, where food is readily available from the reformed Holy Nation, the United Cities(fish) and other things from the swamp. We have plenty of other resources from mines in the Holy Nation, (and mines elsewhere). We also have plenty of manpower, and can easily destroy any rogue bandit groups. After this, we can start to socially reform the nation(s) we control, and are basically on top of the world.

Edit: Apparently Tengu is already a puppet, take control of the trader's guild and nobles, I'll elaborate further later.
