I forgot whose Twitter that I got this photo, anyway this is a group photo of the Japanese voice actors - Kenn, Tachibana Shinnosuke and Suwabe Junichi for the characters Ayn, Alkaid and Lars respectively from Lovebrush Chronicles during the TGS stage.

Would you be as infatuated with Urianger had they kept his ARR voice actor? Or would it not have made a difference? Totally not asking because I'm playing Dragon Age II and Gideon Emery's wonderful voice is making me weak in the knees. Totally not.

I actually wonder about that lmfao. Because voices aside, I think if Urianger didn't properly develop as a character in ShB onwards (though the seeds were sown back when Moenbryda was introduced, and briefly touched on in Coils and the Warring Triad) and was strictly just a weird theater kid with almost no other personality traits, I'm not sure I'd like him nearly as much. His charm for me comes from how he's the right amount of weird and cheeky and playful tossed with just being genuinely sweet. ShB really brought some colour into his character and that's what endeared me the most to him.

I also don't really know what Gideon Emery sounds like in other roles. I'd probably need to hear him in a similar role to the Urianger we now have to say for sure lol. At the moment I think I'm just hella attached to Timothy Watson, so for now, for now, I'll say I might not have liked Urianger as much, just because Urianger in ARR was... well, kind of flat. Well acted, but not as interesting as he is now.

EDIT: I FIGURED OUT WHAT I WANTED TO SAY. COULDN'T FIND THE WORDS BEFORE

The reason I think I prefer Timothy Watson is because I sadly associate ARR Urianger with Gideon Emery. As if they're entirely different characters.

------------------------ Life-size panels of the main characters. Lots of fans lined up to take pictures of this, too, but some fans in line behind me said that Yuma looked very small. (Yes, that's right. He's only 150cm tall!)

Overall, it is no exaggeration to say that the entire content of this event was a surprise, as there was no prior announcement of what the event would be about, but one of the most sudden announcements was that Kazutaka Kodaka would be signing autographs for those who purchased the official soundtrack at the event's merchandising. I had already bought the OST, but there was an announcement that the version signed by Masafumi Takada would be sold, so I thought I would buy one if there were any left. As it turned out, a lot of people bought the OST, probably because they could get Kodaka's autograph. And of course I bought it too.

I was very nervous to talk to Kodaka directly! but it was a very good experience XD I will make another post about this later.

As for my impression of the event, the first thing I'd like to say is that I was very impressed. I felt the fans deeply thanking the developers and voice actors for making or working hard on RAIN CODE, and the developers and voice actors thanking the fans for playing and supporting RAIN CODE. Well, it seems kind of generic when I put it into words… but I think the event clearly showed a high level of passion for RAIN CODE.

What was particularly surprising was that the guest voice actors had probably played the game properly. I expected Katsumi Fukuhara, VA for Yuma, and Sayumi Suzushiro, VA for Shinigami, to have played the game, but I was surprised that even Yui Ishikawa, VA for Halara, and KENN, VA for Desuhiko, were able to discuss the game in detail.

And what is impressive is that they all "mentioned" a sequel. When I say "mentioned", they just said they wanted to do a sequel; unfortunately, there was no announcement that they had decided to do a sequel. But I think mentioning a sequel in front of the fans carries a different weight. Also, not just once or twice, but on various topics, Kodaka hinted at the possibility of various developments in the future. On the other hand, if something is already decided, it would be a good time to announce it at an event like this, so it is a bit sad that no concrete announcement was made, but I was very happy that all the guests showed their motivation to make a sequel.

I took notes on what they talked about and will post a report with some illustrations based on those notes. The event lasted about two hours * twice (day and night), but it was packed with a lot of topics, so it's hard to put it into text properly! But it was a lot of fun, and there are a lot of scenes I want to illustrate, so I'll post them one by one.

I loved her narratives very much. I would love to get her book. It is on my list! You would have had to have been there. It was wonderful. Not News: Dan Simmons is a wee fuckboy. We have established this a lot. He also establishes this for us. (?) Umlaqtalik - There is a boat there.

He is so very attached to Goodsir. Goodsir is very much a part of him. Hearing him talk about how integrated Goodsir is to himself was wonderful.

Nive and her impressive education on the importance of indigenous representation and how that impacted her. How her voice as not only an actor but an Indigenous Actor was taken with such respect and was given the space to allow for respectful and creative extrapolation on the Set.

I had an incredible amount of fun during this event. I am so excited for tomorrow. What notes you are seeing here are just references to part of the panels and some side comments I had made between all of my other more detailed notes. There was so much to be had and so much that we saw and heard. The speakers were incredible and each individual was incredibly dedicated to their impressive Art and Passion. It truly showed. As Nive said: You can hear a smile in a recording". I feel as if this applies to every one of the speakers and all of the panels we had the pleasure to enjoy today.

I have more detailed notes in my journal which, of course, you can see I scrawled a lot in. I had amassed about seven whole pages worth in that time. So to type them all would be just simple a task I cannot do. But I am open to discussions regarding how everything was if you did not get to attend it! Also Terror Camp has a wonderful setup available for you to explore the other avenues that they have presented on their website. So please do go check that you if you are interested! I love Wedge. He's just a sweet little guy. Also a good friend of Severia (along with Biggs). He makes me smile whenever he's in a cutscene. That part of the short story about the 8th Umbral Calamity with him.... That absolutely got me right in the feels.

Fun fact! His jp voice actor is also the actor for Urianger! Though the two roles could not sound more different. I love KENN.

also i really love baby baby sayonara. that scream? around 2:15 was awesome... also white kiss is so pretty & serene... i love the vocals... it feels like the instruments are really trying to follow after them if that makes sense? like as if he has a lot of influence... i assume so since he's inspired by snow white it looks like ?

32. Favorite voice actor

OH THIS IS HARD can i say dan green aka yugi's english voice actor because he is still so active and soooo sweet. it warms my heart. he's also talked multiple times abt how fans talking to him abt yugioh helping them with coming to terms/coming out as trans/gay/etc or helping them with mental issues is very important to him and he treasures it and its just... sooo sweet... and he's just so iconic!!!! his voice is so recognizable and cool

also ofc i adore KENN and kobayashi sanae so much that i watched several other anime to hear more of them after gx LMAO.... oops... and oh god natsuki hanae who voices gakuto and manabu in sevens and go rush respectively is just. absolutely INSANE in the most positive way possible. love him so much. phenomenal job voice acting absolute nutjobs (said wit love)
