Digimon Partners' official twitter is recapping 02 for a long time now (i forgot when they started it, but possibly late August) and...

They're making a few comments on KenMiya scenes of a few episodes (like, on ep 8 they just put emphasis on Miyako gushing about Ken, as example)

Friends and I are suspecting this might mean... something related to the ship being in the movie.

And if that's the case, if you hate Kenyako/KenMiya i DON'T want you to loathe on my posts/art, i might block people on sight. One thing is having ship preferences, another is to just use my posts to dunk on it, or on the epilogue.

Don't like the canon? It's okay, make your own AU with the ships you care and be happy. But i won't tolerate having my stuff used as scapegoat or get hatred for shipping KenMiya or drawing it for friends.

Official DP twitter is recapping 02 and it's suspiciously making very strange comments about certain KenMiya scenes in 02. Which is really odd considering they would gush about those scenes instead of recapping the actual episodes' plots...

... Friends and I are suspecting this means something related to the movie might come.

Though, at the same time i want none of this because i know something nasty will happen in this fanbase if we further the KenMiya. And honestly, if i see the next person claiming KenMiya is canon because Miyako is a "female Daisuke"... 🙃

Ken has two hands, he can hold both Daisuke's and Miyako's at the same time.

honestly i still hope that 02tb will show *some* chemistry between miyako and ken. there's no need to pull a kizuna (i loved it but they lowkey tried hard not to mention yamato and sora being together) and beat around the bush with it, no need to be allergic to couples, it's a natural thing that humans do. they're like 21-22... seriously

Friend and I were chatting about the 02 kids and post-movie status and we just agreed that Miyako would rather go into freelancing work from her camp (she's a programming major) than salaried work because it would give her freedom to do anything she wanted to do...

... including "questionable" work for her husband in order to help him solve crimes and mysteries. I love Inoue Miyako since i was a child and this is so cool I want to be like her!

“Well, we will have to be your bodyguards,” Miyako explained with a serious voice, “At least to prevent either of them from attacking you!” “I’d like to have you as my bodyguard, Miyako-san,” Wallace said with a smooth voice and a smile. Ken suddenly took the microphone from the table and… “THAT’S ALL, THANK YOU FOR COMING.” … screamed on it. And he then gently pushed Wallace and Mimi out of the booth. He closed the door. Everyone stared at him, confused. Except for Daisuke, who definitely got the gist. “Why did you do that!?” Miyako snapped, “That was so rude coming from you, Ken-kun!!” “We need to talk. About that plan. Right now.” “????”

“What, you saw that Impmon we told you and Wallace?” Takeru and the others had met Mimi again. Oddly, Wallace was not around yet… the twin-mons neither. “Yeah, we saw it!” Palmon confirmed, "Terriermon saw them-- Huh? Where’s Terriermon, Lopmon and Wallace?” “That’s no good…” Patamon frowned, “Maybe they went after that digimon?” But, suddenly they see Wallace walking calmly with the twins. He smiled at them and went to meet with the group, “I finally caught you up. Sorry, I bumped into a dude…” “Are you okay?” Hikari asked, and then Wallace nodded. “Yeah. Don’t worry, no one got hurt. Well, shall we look for that digimon then?” “Hmm…” Ken mused. “What is it?” “Nothing… Takeru-kun and Iori-kun should go with you. Miyako-san and Hikari-san with Mimi-san.” “Hey, who made you the leader here?” Wallace stared at him, “You just think I’m after your girlfriend right!?” “Girlfriend?” The group exclaimed. “She’s not my girlfriend…” Ken spurted quickly. The group glanced at him again. “Wait who’s Wallace talking abou--” Miyako raised an eyebrow. “He’s jumping to conclusions,” Ken babbled again, “Anyway, let’s go. Daisuke agrees with those groups, right Daisuke?!” “Huh?? Y-yeah I do…” Daisuke blinked, “Ken’s a good strategist so I trust him.” “Hm… Going by those choices,” Iori stroked his chin, “Ichijouji-san put Mimi-san in priority, Silphymon is smaller and faster, alongside Lilymon they might counter the enemy until we arrive. However, Shakkoumon and Gargomon might be useful to protect you and the twins from turning into a target too.” “Yes, exactly.” Ken nodded, “Paildramon and Imperialdramon should be used only in an emergency, in case either of you or Mimi-san get corrupted by the fragment.” “I dunno…” Wallace squinted his eyes, “But if Daisuke says so, I’ll trust him more than you.”

“Just a second, we need to let the others know” and Ken grabbed his phone from his hoodie’s pocket and called Miyako.

“The others?” Wallace blinked, “Does it mean… Miyako-san is with you? I missed her so much”

Ken immediately glanced at Daisuke with such annoyance and realized his friend was facepalming. The digimon kept confused, but Pucchiemon just saw Ken almost smash his phone.

“Did I stutter?” Ken said, with a big grin on his face. Said grin made Daisuke feel it was the same smile Ken gives to people he plans to murder slowly and painfully (ok no, he just messes with their belongings like taking all the batteries from their remote controls and unscrewing light bulbs as warning)

Hi!!! I saw your pinned post about shipping Daisuke/Ken/Miyako and was wondering if you had any fic recommendations? I've been trying to find them but I'm not sure where to start 😔🥰

Assuming you mean any fic between DaiMiya, KenMiya and KenDai...

I did write a KenMiya + DaiMiya story before -- actually a re-written version of an old one written originally in my native language. I could recommend one DaiMiya implied and one KenDai implied i wrote too, but... They're from a series of drabbles so you would have to read anything else to get it orz

@digimental-up is a major KenMiya writer i'm aware of with lots of interesting stuff.

Day 14 - Favorite Ship / OTP

Hello Hello, I’m Nina and you know that I love a bunch of ships. Many of them. No matter if m/f, f/f or m/m. Today, I’d like to apologize for being unable to go rewatch 02 for fresh new content so we will sit here and use what I have on my reach.

Let’s begin saying that I’d LOVE to talk about something new, but can’t. Sorry I can’t. And my main current ship is dead (LOL) so I’m picking something before falling in love with Maki/Daigo. Yes, by the pic of choice... I bring you some of the best DaiMiya/Daiyako moments of 02.

“But Ni, Miyako and Daisuke are like siblings!” Yes, I got it. But you can’t deny the possibilities of Daisuke and Miyako developing a crush on each other later. That, before Miyako and Ken becoming an item. I appreciate KenMiya, but I also appreciate DaiMiya & DaiKen. So, this is a very much OT3 for me.

For Miyako’s side... We have episode 31 where She cares so much about Daisuke’s opinion of her. There’s many ways of seeing this scene -- romantic and platonic. The main cause of the Miyako’s inner conflict is definitely because of this line:

Which makes MIyako have this inner dialogue:

Miyako gets very much confused and uncomfortable with Daisuke’s comment, enough to start asking why is she so different from Hikari. And, another point of this episode is just when the group -- in the Dark Ocean dimension -- sees Daisuke and when Miyako goes to meet him... He ran through her. Like a ghost. It made Miyako very much panicked and she even mentions it during her panic attack.

Now, this episode is the only material I suppose to be able as potential DaiMiya content. Like said, it can be read as platonic and romantic -- it’s up to you.

Now, for Daisuke’s parts. As everyone knows... Daisuke has a big crush on HIkari (and possible a childish crush on Taichi, but we’re not here for that today) so sometimes it’s confusing him caring about Miyako’s opinions of other boys. He’s pretty jealous. Biggest example is on Hurricane Touchdown movie. Wallace’s pretty much into Miyako and he gets totally angry at it.

But how about 02? Again, I’m using stuff I’ve found on my main blog tag (yes, another acc)

Daisuke seems jealous in ep 9, when Miyako talks about Ken. She mentions Ken’s beauty and Iori comes reminding them that Ken’s very athletic. Daisuke responds very distressed “I’M SORRY FOR NOT BEING SO ATHLETIC!” to them all.

Next we have this scene, on Miyako’s rant for Shurimon’s debut episode:

Miyako’s rant somehow hits Daisuke hard when she mentions that she likes cool guys (like Michael, and later Ken lol) as makes Daisuke in the background do that face at that line. I think he even has done a “huh?” but can’t remember now. He wants Miyako’s attention.

On episode 30...

He suddenly goes on a polite manner by calling Miyako, who he never uses ‘-san’ despite her being a year older than him, and makes her confused about that. He blushes next and acts very tsundere as well lol.

Not sure why the sudden “Miyako-san” but it’s a nice DaiMiya moment haha.

Next moment we have...

The kids teasing this digifool. Note that Iori says that and his reaction only changes when Miyako teases him. He blushes, not sure if it is because of her or because he finally caught the message. This is episode 31, where we also got that one hint from Miyako’s side btw.

Next DaiMiya tease is...

Daisuke helping Miyako, at the end of ep 34. We know during the episode there’s a scene in which Miyako helps Hikari, stealing Daisuke’s chance of having a romantic scene (lol) but at the end we have this same scene repeated AND he helps Miyako. The BR dub implies he mistook Miyako’s voice with Hikari’s... But honestly, I think the JP version made it like?? He’s not confused, he definitely helped her. And she’s confused, so that’s why he responds like that.

Considering this scene predates the Christmas episode scene...

... where Miyako compliments Ken’s sweet and innocent laugh, making Daisuke start something only to be interrupted by Ken’s mother. Why was he trying to say? Maybe something like “I’m also cute” or something like?? Honestly, he’s always trying so hard to make people look at him ;7;

THEN, new fresh content. I love the tease he does on this clip:

They just met after a long time separated and the first thing he does is to tease her. Bless him, bless her. This clip is a blessing for both KenMiya and DaiMiya fans. Also for the 02 squad fans.

There it is, not so new stuff but some of my favorite moments between Daisuke & Miyako which I believe to be able to be seen as romantic tease.
