do you think you can write yandere kenny or do you not do those asks? even so do you have any rules on asks to?
yandere kenny
an: hello! i cann, but yes i do have rules, im gonna make this yandere as in kenny killing just not kidnapping or non-con things! kennys aged up in this, fem reader!
kenny has had his eyes on you ever since you moved into town in 4th grade, you treated everyone with respect and love. everyone loved you except for cartman of course, he always thought you were a devil sent from hell and was gonna take over the town because of how nice you were. you and kenny were no stranger, he always loosen up when hes with you and so do you, every friday you and him always went over to yours to talk and play games. he always was flirty to you, you loved it but knew he meant nothing because he acts like that to every girl and just don't want to get your heart broken. you had boyfriends before but they always ended up dying or breaking up with you for no good reason, kenny was always there to comfort you "those guys weren't even good enough for you, find a guy thats like me, for example .. me!" "you're not fucking helping ken!" you said sobbing. he was serious though. if your gonna get a boyfriend atleast find one that can buy you flowers?!? he hated every single boyfriend you had, why can't you see he was perfect for you? not all the bastards who dated you. he killed two men just for you, threaten 3 for you too! he's just waiting for the time you realize he's good for you, and you did!! you finally confessed to him and to your surprise he accepted you! you two been going out for 2 months now. although the new kid has gotten real touchy with you, everytime you see him he'd hug you or you two would walk close together. even hung out at his house once! god knows what you two were doing in there, kenny was planning to stalk but his house got em security cameras. if kenny threaten him it won't work he might even tell you on him!, killing him would make you go in despair because he knows hes your bestfriend. but then again you can just get over it. so now here he is in a dark shack with your boy bestfriend tied up on a chair "fuck, you know this wouldn't have happen if you didn't get so close to her." kenny said while slicking back his hair. "im going crazy just seeing her all bubbly to you." "fuck you kenny, you think this is how relationships work? killing any male within a 10 feet radius to her?" kenny didnt bother to wear his mysterion outfit, he had his tshirt on because with that orange parka on anybody could've seen him, and he wasn't going to be alive after this so who cares "you dont have to this! think about it if you kill me she's just gonna be deppressed!" kenny approached him putting on the gloves with an apron and a knife. "then i guess i gottta go buy some ice cream and tissues " with that he killed him, after so he cleaned himself and any evidence, the body he threw in a lake for the cops to deal with later. the next day when your ex besf was found dead in a lake got reported to the news you bawled your eyes out, kenny wasn't happy that youre sad but atleast that bastard is gone and he will continue to do so to every guy that even tries to get close to you. <33

My top 20 favorite Tokyo Ghoul characters
I usually only do top 10s but like...I love so many characters in Tokyo Ghoul it was really hard for me to do?? So I did more. Also DO NOT GET offended. Even my honorable mentions are very...very dear to me. (Also the places are just how mush I, myself, enjoyed the character not how great the character is or that your opinion isnt valid. And I skipped most of the Suzuya squad because they would probably dominate my top six or something and that wouldnt be fair haha )
Honerable mentions:
Hide:
Tumblr media
Itori:
Tumblr media
Arima:
Tumblr media
Matsumae
Tumblr media
Kimi
Tumblr media
Nishiki:
Tumblr media
Shirazu ginishi
Tumblr media
THE ENTIRE SUZUYA SQUAD (Nakarai, Mikage, Mizurou, Hanbee.)
Tumblr media
Now onto my list!
20.  Shuu Tsukiyama
Tumblr media
I really didnt like him much at first. He made me uncomfortable and really annoyed. I mean, yeah, certain times I thought he was pretty funny but he made me more and more unnerved the longer I saw him. But then when I saw his nicer side and especially during seeing his loyalty and love for his family he started to grow on me. And now hes on this list!
19. Rize Kamishiro
Tumblr media
Rize always was interesting to me. I wondered how she got to where she was, why she was so important in the ghoul world and just how she got to be so strong. Not to mention her characters personality made me very compiled to her. Then I got her backstory and understood her more. I liked her even more and began to respect her character.
18. Renj Yomo
Tumblr media
I always liked his ‘silent protector’ vibe even before finding out his backstory. I thought he was loyal and smart. And then it was revealed that he was the uncle to some very improtant characters and it made me love him even more. His backstory contributed to his gruffness and protective nature and not to mention his kagune is freaking AWESOME.
17. Ayato Kirishima
Tumblr media
Hes grown into someone I really enjoy. I...really didnt like him. He hurt Touka and acted like an ass the whole time. Then I saw a softer side when it came to Hinami. He was so concerned and cared about her so much that it touched me a lot. And he was a little more calm and controlled compared to what he had been in the first series as well. He developed into someone who not only cared for his love interest but his family and those important to both of them as well.
16. Amon Koutarou
Tumblr media
Amon, poor poor Amon. This guy has went through a whole lot during his time in the series. And hes accepted a lot as well. I always liked Amon even before everything like changed him. He seemed like a really cool guy who truly did what he thought was best. Then he learned what we the audience already knew. That ghouls weren’t as bad as everyone thought they were. And then fought for peace. And that coupled with how much he tried to help Seidou and loved Akira made be like and respect his character even more.
15. Kurona Yasuhisa
Tumblr media
Another character I really liked from the beginning. See, I have a weakness for twins. I always loved the idea of one and think that no matter the relationship they are always interesting to watch in media. And her relationship with Nashiro, while not explored a whole lot, was still prominent and known. And her denial about her death and the form of insanity she went through because of it was both sad and entertaining to watch. The fact that she started to think about forgiving the person who killed her as well was...amazing. Over all I wish she was explored a bit more but am happy with what I got.
14. Urie Kuki
Tumblr media
Another character that I slowly learned to appreciate. He started out as someone who cared only for his own motives but after losing someone who he hadnt realized he cared for he begun to care for his team and mant to protect them as much as he can. Becoming someone worthy of their loyalty and love. Going as far as to save one of the ones who betrayed him and tried to kill him just to get them all together again and keep his promise to his dead friend.
13. Ui Koori
Tumblr media
Im not sure what made me drawn to him? Maybe his relationship with Hairu or his sense of Justice? I dont know but I do know that I like seeing his appearances. His fights and thought process was always fun as well. Over all Im not sure why I like him all I know is that I really do haha
12. Ken Kaneki
Tumblr media
Okay I know, its basically illegal to have him so low on my list but honestly? I never really got that deep into his character? I mean he was sweet at first but then he was kind of boring? And I liked Haise a lot but really didnt like the reaper? The OEK one is cool and all but I still never got overly attached? I dont know. But I will say he is cool and I love how dedicated he is to his loved ones. And how honest he is about his flaws. Its really nice to see a protagonist that admires that he is selfish in certain ways and isnt always trying to do things for ‘the greater good’. And will do cruel and horrible things when push comes to shove. It makes him seem...a lot more human and tragic. Yet the fact he still had his happy ending made me happy for him. After the hell hes been through he deserves it.
11. Seidou Tawkizawa
Tumblr media
Seidou. He...certainly needs a little help. Poor guy was such a innocent kid before his whole life was turnt upsidedown. I’ll be honest...I thought he was kind of annoying at first and then very scary later on. But after seeing a bit of his side of how everything went down and how much he cared for Akira and Amon my liking for him skyrocketed and I couldn't wait to see him again in the next chapter. How he sees himself and his future...it just hit to close to home for me. And soon enough he became one of my favorite characters.
10. Haise sasaki
Tumblr media
Ahh, my favorite of all the Nekis. I really, really liked him. How parental he was with his squad and his storyline always interested me. The amnesia thing has always been one of my favorite tropes. He, to me, was a perfect mix of Kuroneki and Shironeki. Having the lightheartedness and empathy of Kuroneki and having the toughness and ability to fight as Shironeki. I liked how goofy he could be (i.e dressing up as women) and all his little moments with Akira, Arima and Juuzou. But he was a dream, nothing meant to last, so he had to go. But that does NOT mean I didnt enjoy watching him the most.
9. Kanae
Tumblr media
I just really like her. I think her backstory is sad but not overdoing it and her dedication to Tsukiyama was certainly something that drew me to her. At first I thought I’d hate her but found myself sorely mistaken. And I cried a whole lot at her death and the touching moment when Tsukiyama, the person she loved so much, called her by her real name and accepted her despite
the fact she thought she never deserved anything even similar to perhaps she’d be even higher had she stayed longer but she left far to soon.
8. Eto Yoshimura
Tumblr media
Eto is very interesting and fun to watch. Cruel and mean, yes, but also unpredictable! She never failed to make a impression on me everytime I saw a panel of her. I was always wondering ‘what will she do next?’ you know? I absolutly loved watching\reading her. Her backstory made me love her even more seeing as she had a bit of a struggle to get to were she is now.
7. Hairu Ihei.
Tumblr media
Hairu is someone else I dont know why I like so much? We didnt see her much at all and what we did see of her was little. But something about her drew me in. She was cute and I didnt expect much from her but found out she was pretty strong. Also with how sweet and air headed she acted I already liked her a little, the strength was only a added bonus. I only wish we got to see more of her.
6. Uta
Tumblr media
Uta, someone who I already liked, only grew on me as time went on. I thought he was funny, unique and very good looking. And as time whent on, and seeing how twisted he could be, it only made be want to see what would happen next with him. Whose side he was really on. Things like that. But then his fight with Yomo made be see him in a more emotional light. Seeing how close he was to him and still was in in a way. It was sweet and only made me like him even more.
5. Akira Mado
Tumblr media
Akira Mado. At first I never thought much of her. Just a sort of bland character who had lost her father. Nothing new, nothing interesting. But her relationship with Amon certainly made be feel a little closer to her and made be pity her at the end of the first manga. But then in Re: I grew a lot closer to her really quickly. Her character seemed more open to others and friendly. Her realtionship Haise especially made me like her a whole lot. Then all her confusion and journey forgiving and accepting ghouls made he so interested and caring of her character. How much she wanted to protect Seidou and the fact she still loved Amon-It just...Made he love her. So much.
4. Saiko Yonebayashi
Tumblr media
Saiko is a very funny individual that I didnt like much at first. I thought she was more or less dead weight and didnt understand why she was their to begin with. But the more we got to know her the more that I grew to love her development and character. Shes funny and kind but also strong and determined. I love her a whole lot. How determined she is to do what she thought was right and how much she cared for everyone in her squad despite her own initial unwillingness to try and work. All things I love about her.
3.  Tooru Mutsuki
Tumblr media
Now I know how much this character is hated...And I understand too. He did a lot of twisted and messed up things. Stayed on the bad side a long time, attacked Touka and his squad helped turn Kaneki into  a monster...But his backstory and the personality we were originally introduced to made me love him so...so much. It didnt matter much to me what he did because I knew why he did it and not to mention...Mutsukis one of the most interesting characters to analyze because of his mindset. Also the fact he tried to redeem himself and felt guilty about everything he did...It shows that he is trying to do better and he is. I just....really, really love Mutsuki.
2. Touka Kirishima
Tumblr media
Touka is a very rough character, and I get that some people just dont like her, But I loved every second of her. The person with a rough outside slowly breaking out of their shell and becoming gentler as time goes on- its something I have a soft spot for. Loyal, selfless, strong and knows what she wants. A woman who is strong without being controlling or mary sue. I never got annoyed or bored of her and looked forward to seeing her every single time a new chapter was put out. And also her protectivness towards Kaneki, her child, Ayato, and Hinami made me love her all the more. Shes also got my favorite Kagune of the whole series-Yet another thing I love about this character.
1. Juuzou Suzuya
Tumblr media
By FAR my absolute favorite character in Tokyo ghoul. Now dont get me wrong-Im well aware of his faults. And I know he wasnt on the good side for a while either, But even though these things are there, I love him anyway. Hes so interesting and his backstory was so heartbreaking. When I first saw him I was indeed mildly creeped out but it also made me curious. The more I saw of him the more I wanted to analyze and get to know his character more. And right when I thought I got to know him-The one person who saw him as a person and treated him as he should be treated was taken away. This caused Juuzou to experience his first emotional loss in a very long time. And he changed. I personally enjoy his more mature personality compared to his more bloodthirsty one but love both either way tbh. And hes also very adorable when he wants to be so thats always a plus.

“Home” | 3.5k
Summary: Jungkook can’t go back “Home” until he has his soulmate with him. OR Arya never felt like she belonged here and only one person could make her feel a connection in this world, a boy that goes by the name of Jungkook and talks to her about stars.
Words: 3,595
Genre: Fluff/Angst | Soulmate!AU
Pairing: Jungkook x O/C
Rooh’s note: I wanted to write a fic like this for quite some time, since I listened to “Home” by Gabrielle Aplin, I hope you enjoy, Thanks for reading, and i had fun writing this piece. Also this is a repost + rewrite.
Tumblr media
“I’m a phoenix in the water,  a fish that’s learned to fly,  and I’ve always been a daughter, but feathers are meant for the sky.  And so I’m wishing, wishing further,  for the excitement to arrive.  It’s just I’d rather be causing the chaos, than laying at the sharp end of this knife.”
Arya remembers her childhood memories always a little confusing, and incomplete, she recalls a day where she was sitting in the sandbox of their neighbourhood, where her parents placed her. They told her “Be nice with the other kids Arya, and you’ll make new friends.” with a smile spread on their faces that she couldn’t yet understand.
Parents usually want their kids to socialize and be accepted by society, and Arya’s parents wanted nothing less, they want their only daughter to have friends, to fit in, even at a young age.
Them moving didn’t help much, Arya was a shy child, she didn’t like having too many people around, for some reason she felt uncomfortable next to other children, at a young age she already knew that she wasn’t like them, didn’t share interest in the same things as them, even though she forced herself to.
She grew up with the need to be accepted into what seemed normal to other peoples eyes. Playing with girl friends, having Ken dolls that met with Barbies, pretending to be drinking tea from an obvious empty cup while talking what seemed grown up conversations never really appealed to her.
Friends would look at her funny when she said that she didn't understand the way they played, or even tell her that she is ruining all fun and leave her.
She wouldn't mind, she wouldn't care if they left her alone, she loved to be alone and listen to what the universe had to say, she loved to appreciate the creations and sense the energy they transmitted, for her that was enough. But her parents thought otherwise, like most parents they wanted their daughter to be happy and for them that seemed to imply that she needed friends, so she faked it. She faked to be like them, enjoy the same things they did, she faked so she could be seen as normal.
“Why are you so quiet?” Julia asked Arya, as they ate lunch on the cafeteria. The latest conversation was about this new boy in school, Jungkook, most girls seemed to think he wasn’t as gross as other boys, they even considered him cute, but reality is that Arya couldn’t care less.
Her thoughts wandered to a bird that was chirping near the open window outside. She found it magestic, so tiny, making such a powerful sound. She was startled when Julia threw a piece of bread as hard as her little arms could to the bird, making it fly away scared.
“What was that for?” Arya asked angry.
“What? That thing was annoying, and it kept distracting me.” Julia shrugged her shoulders.
“That bird was just singing. Why do you gotta be so mean? You’re always mean!” Arya got up from her chair abruptly.
“Arya, what are you-”
“You’re always this awful! I hate being around you, you’re always so mean to other girls and you made Sana and Josy fight that one time. I don’t wanna be your friend anymore!” Arya spurted in Julia’s face.
“It was just a stupid bir-” Julia tried to excuse herself but Arya began walking towards where the bird was, leaving the cafeteria after catching everyone’s attention.
That day she looked for that bird, even after the bell rang, but when a supervisor came to bring her back in she couldn’t fight it. She went back to class and the day passed by slowly, and as all she did was look at the window searching for that bird in hopes to see it again.
By the end of class, as a normal habit her parents came to get her a little late than the other kids, she was often left alone with a supervisor for at least 30 minutes, but that day was different.
A small cute boy, with a blue shirt came around and called for her, she followed him to the playard, and ignored the fact that he knew her name already even though they didn’t formally meet yet.
“What are you doing here?” Arya asked curious.
“I’m waiting for my parents, they are gonna pick me up soon.” Jungkook smiled.
“Why did you call for me?”
“I found what you’re looking for.” He said smiley as he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the tree. “There” He pointed at the top.
Arya’s eyes searched for a bit and then they laid on the beautiful blue bird she had seen earlier in lunch. Her eyes shined with hope and a smile spread across her lips as the boy stared at her.
From that day on Arya and Jungkook became friends, she’d rather be friends with him than the rest of the girls. (or anyone for that matter)
Soon Arya learned how to deal with being by herself, she would rather not having people around her, than having someone that could remind her how much she could despise the human race. If what her parents wanted was friends, then Jungkook was there for her, he was her friend.
Jungkook was her best friend, but unlike her, he was a very social person. He was constantly surrounded by people, always making new friends, but she didn’t mind.
Just like in middle school, the same thing happened in high school. Jungkook was popular, playing sports, socializing, the perfect example of a kid parents would like to have, filled with friends and living high school to the max.
Arya was a left out, that lonely kid that sat alone in lunch, that girl that had her head stuffed in books most of the time, that girl that didn’t really care what you thought of her, she just wanted you to leave her alone.
Jungkook tried to help her fit in, inviting her to sit with his friends, but he soon realized that that only created an awkward situation for all of them. He sits with Arya most of the time, not because he feels sorry for her only having him as a friend, but because he enjoys her company. It was easier when they were younger, kids didn’t discriminate as much and everyone was the same at some point.
They hang out most of the times in her place, or his. But everytime she went there, there were other school mates around, making things weird for her.
It’s not that Arya doesn’t like people, she just doesn’t understand them. She tries, God, she really does. Only Jungkook knows how much effort she put into having an actual conversation with one of his friends when he asked Jungkook to introduce him to her.
“How can you do it?” Arya asked as she ate another mouthful of chips. “How do you… fit in like that?” She looked at him in the eyes, as the soft wind blew his hair in that stared night.
“What do you mean?” Jungkook asked again trying to steal the bag of chips from her, almost as if he didn’t take her question seriously.
“Stop, I'm serious you know… fit in, have lots of friends and at the same time…” She looked at him as he smiled. “at the same time be like me.”
He didn’t understand the question at first, so he laughed softly and asked “Why can’t i be like you?” with an arched eyebrow.
“Kook, you’re… you’re the only person in this world i think it’s worth anything. And it’s not just because you’re my only friend, it’s because you get me. Our conversations, our interests, the things you know… I can’t have that with anyone else, and believe me, i’ve tried. You know how much i’ve tried…” Arya said those words looking at the bright night sky, on top of the roof of her house as the cold breeze hit them. “I wish i could be like you, to be able to fit in, to be able to… connect with other people.”
Jungkook looked at her with pity in his eyes, he didn’t mean to, it just happened. Gladly she didn’t notice because he quickly laid back next to her and looked to the dark blue sky admiring the stars.
“What’s your favorite star?” He asked out of the blue.
“You already know what my favorite star is, i won’t tell you for the thousandth time.” she laughed.
“One day, i’ll take you there.” Jungkook turned to face her, and she did the same. “Write my words, one day i’ll take you there. And you’ll love it. It’s all-”
“Pink and bright. And there’s a river that looks like diamonds shining that goes all the way from the begging of the mountains to the very end.” she completed his sentence. “You’ve been saying that since we were kids, i thought your drug would’ve worn off by now.” she laughed and he followed him laying down and looking tot he sky.
“Do you believe in soulmates?” Jungkook asked, apprehensive.
“I don’t, i find it to be stories to keep love enthusiasts with hope.” She turns to face him. “But, if i’d say they existed, with no doubt you’d be mine. Cause no one else in the world could complement me like you do.” she smiled.
With those words Jungkook smiled as well, and turned to look back at the sky, with hope on his eyes.
Arya never knew that since that the words she spoke that day, would make things become different.
Graduation will soon happen, and both Jungkook and Arya are glad to leave high school. Arya doesn’t know what she wants to study yet, so she will take a year off, Jungkook on the other hand doesn’t seem to find interest in any of the scholarships he had won through sports. His answer is always “I have other plans.” But he never really reveals the plans.
Arya’s 18th birthday will coincidentally happen on the same day as he graduation day. Jungkook had turned 18 years old months ago, or so he says. He threw a big party for it, Arya was there because he insisted, but she spent most of the time in his room playing video games as he would pop in and out every 30 mins to check if she was ok and bring her snacks.
Jungkook promised Arya a birthday gift, even though she told him numerous time she didn’t want one, he said it was something he had to do, or else.
Lately Jungkook became more protective of Arya than he already was. He went to pick her up before school, and take her home after school, walk her whenever she had to go somewhere. It seemed that he stopped caring about his friends and was focusing on Arya only. She told herself that it’s because he was scared they’d stop being friends when they graduated like some people feared, but she assured him that that wasn’t the case, yet he kept being closer to her, as if he wanted her to know that he’s there, no matter what. And she enjoyed it, every minute of it.
Graduation day finally arrived, and the ceremony occurred like planned. For a lot of surprises, Jungkook’s parents weren’t present, Arya thought she’d at least see them once, but she didn’t. Jungkook himself was MIA. Nothing besides an ‘I'm gonna be late, don’t worry’ text from him was all she got.
They called her name, and she went up there, grabbed what belonged to her, took a picture and walked out. Finally that part of her life was over.
Everyone seemed to celebrate, and all Arya wanted was to know where Jungkook was. She couldn’t find him anywhere. He went missing all day making excuses.
Arya got home to find a text from Jungkook with a location to meet. It wasn’t a odd location, they’ve been there multiple times together to stargaze and pay on old swing sets. So she changed, ate something quick and went to the old amusement park.
As she jumped over the rusty fence, she tried not be caught on by local guards and walked towards the trees near the lake to meet him. She saw him whispering to himself and called for him. “Hey, there you are. I’ve been looking for you all day.” Arya said as she walked towards the bench Jungkook was sitting.
“Hey.” Jungkook greeted, then realized that Arya looked more beautiful than usually.
“Mom put some makeup on me, i thought it looked nice, so i decided to not take it off. Do i look weird?” She asked as she seated next to him, while he followed her with his eyes.
“No, not at all. You look good, I like it.” he smiled.
“You’re still with the graduation costume. You didn’t go home?” She asked him.
“Yeah.. uhm, i didn’t. I was here, thinking.” He looked to the void in front of him.
“Thinking about what?” she asked concerned.
“About how can I convince you to come with me.” He said still looking to the horizon.
“What do you mean come with you? Where to?”
“Home” Jungkook turned to face her. “I want you to come home with me Arya.”
With those words Arya felt confused, and began softly laughing. She soon realized that Jungkook was being serious because he had a straight face all along.
“What are you talking about Kook? What do you mean ‘Home’?”
“Arya,” He looked her in the eyes “what if i told you, that this is not where we belong, that this isn’t our home? That there’s a place somewhere, where you and i both belong, somewhere where you’d feel comfortable, where you wouldn’t wish to fit in, because that’s where you belong, and people there are just like me and you.” Jungkook’s hand slowly moved to meet hers. “What if i told you you didn’t need to feel like a phoenix in the water or fish that’s learned to fly? You get to be yourself, with me.”
“How do u know those words? I don’t remember telling you that, ever.” She looked at him with mistrust.
“I know those words, because I know you, that’s something you’ve said to me before.”
Arya felt her stomach tighten at Jungkook’s words. “I’ve never done such thing. What are you saying? How did you know that?” She retrieved her hand from his.
“I know it might sound weird, and i understand that. But please listen to me, that’s all i ask of you, to listen to me and try to comprehend. Listen until the end, and then you can make your own decisions, do whatever you want, ok?” He looked at her with hopes for a positive answer, and she granted him.
Jungkook began talking about their origins, that they weren’t human to start, they belonged to the moon, they were moon folks, and had lived there for as long as he remembers, even though they were both still young according to him. He explained that there was an explosion, a mistake that was yet to be explained, but the explosion caused a lot of malfunctions in their world and one of the consequences was that some of them were sent out of their homes to live in nearby stars until everything was fixed.
Both of them were sent to the star Arya considered her favorite now, they lived there for quite some time and decided not to go back, they met new friends, they made a life there, they liked it there and to top that it was all pink —Arya’s favorite color. Somewhere in life Arya got convinced by a friend of theirs to experience a new life, in a new planet called Earth. Jungkook was against it, because for some reason, Earth was one of the few places in universe where the soulmates logic didn’t seem to work or exist for that matter. There was too many distractions, people didn’t seem to care that they were meant to be with someone, they could simply ignore it and force a relationship with someone else. It was against what was written, what was natural and Jungkook didn’t like that.
Jungkook feared for their relationship, but for Arya he accepted the challenge, she wanted something different, Earth had everything they could imagine, and it was unexplored, so they embarked on this adventure.
But there was a malfunction in the ships with the first batch that was sent there, which they were part of. A lot of people lost their memories once they arrived, others disappeared and lost connections to their soulmate (which meant they probably died), in their case, Jungkook lost Arya.
He searched for her for almost 2 years, to find out that she had incorporated into human a child. Once he saw her he knew, his heart beated and he knew it was her, but to see her that defenseless, and dependent bothered him. He watched the family that adopted her for almost a year, and tried talking to her a couple of times to realize she had no memory at all of her past life.
That’s when he decided that he had to do the same, incorporate himself into a human child and grow next to her, protecting her until she was capable of understanding the truth, and try to bring her back. Which bring them to this point, where he’s telling her the truth.
“So you’re saying, that we used to live in the moon? And you’re my soulmate?” Arya asked still processing information, but before Jungkook could answer she continued. “If that’s true, that would explain why i feel like i don’t belong here, why i always wanted to leave this place, but still.” She looked at Jungkook. “You enjoyed yourself, you loved being here, you made all those friends and you’re telling me you don’t belong here? Tell me Jungkook, how is that possible?”
“I… I lost focus. My goal was to make you trust me again, but you were so closed, I tried to be part of you again, but you wouldn’t let me in, and to know that all we’ve lived, all we went thru together is erased from your memory, it’s something that hurts me inside. I was angry, i was… out of focus.” He turns to look down ashamed. “I tried to forget about you at some point, but I couldn’t. Yes i was always there for you, but i made other friends because unlike you, i didn’t have a family, i was alone. I compelled people to believe i had parents, to give me a house… I lived a fake life for almost 18 years just to reach this point.” He looked back at her, and saw her trying to wipe her tears.
“I lived all this time just to be able to let you know that we’ve had a life together, and i want that back. I want us back.” He reached for her hand, she didn’t hold it back at start. “I want us to go home, to live our lives the way they were…” Jungkook looked at Arya and took a deep breath exhaling tired and anguished while a tear rolled down his cheek. “I want my soulmate back,i want my other half, i want to feel whole again and not broken and empty. And only you can do that. So please, Please Arya” he pleaded. “Please tell me you believe me and you’ll come back with me?” he cries.
Arya’s cries began growing louder, as she pulled Jungkook in for a hug, she cried in his shoulder apologizing, over and over again, sobbing, feeling as guilty as possible.
“I never knew, and I-I’m, I’m so sorry.” She sobs uncontrollably.
“That day when i asked you if you believed in soulmates and you said no, i  thought i’d die. For a split of a second I thought I'd end my own life but then, you said that if you did i’d be your soulmate. Until that moment i was almost out of hope, i had almost given up. But you gave me hope,” He backed up.  “and i couldn’t hold it in anymore, I prepared myself to tell you.”
She looked at him with tears flooding her eyes and began apologising again. He raised his hands to touch her face, wiping her tears. “Don’t cry my love, it’s not your fault.”
“B-but you were all alone. And I… I didn’t do anything, I had no idea. I’m so, so sorry Kook.” She pouts even harder than she already was, her face red, her eyes puffy and her hair seemed to be everywhere. She looked messy yet Jungkook though she was the most beautiful.
“It’s not your fault, and i don’t really mind anymore, i just want to go home, with you.” His thumb caressed her cheek and she leaned in for comfort while showing a weak smile.
“With you, i’d go anywhere. As long as we’re together, does it matter where we go?” She asked with a smile, and he followed leaning in for a soft kiss, pushing his lips against hers.
Jungkook parted with his eyes still closed, foreheads touching, his hand on Arya’s nape and she whispered, “Let’s go Home”.
He complied with a nod, opening his eyes to look into her deep blue eyes, then whispered with a smile on his lips “Home.” ♡

“It's a surprise to see you again, Mrs. Kaneki… Or would you prefer it if I would call you by your maiden name?”, the man leaned back and took another look at his notes, “The last time you came here you were only 19 years old, we talked about your father back then, didn't we? … I would love to say it's good to see you again, but nobody ever comes here because they only want to chat.”
Touka felt a stinging pain in her chest and a sinking feeling in her stomach, he was right. The lighthouse wasn't a place anyone would go because they were happy and content with their life, they came here to seek help, “I hope we won't have to perform any of your tests this time…” 8 years have passed since she had last seen him, he aged well, there was no denying that he was an attractive man… he also seemed to have overcome his negative stance when it came to marriage, judging by the small platinum ring on his finger.
At least one thing they had in common.
“I don't think it's necessary this time, you'll be honest with me from the start, won't you? It seems as if you know exactly why you're coming here again, so tell me all about it,” he checked the small recorder that was lying on top of the desk that was sitting between them again, “So?”
“It's because of my husband,” she looked up, seemingly uncomfortable as months ago it was a topic she enjoyed bringing up in conversations but now it made her feel sick in her stomach, “You see… I suppose you read the newspapers and know the TV reports -”
“Miss Kirishima… please. It won't help either of us if you want me to play guessing games, I need your version of the story or I won't be able to help you.”
He was right, of course he was because in the end he was only doing his job, “I met him shortly after we ended therapy… it was… at first I didn't know what to think of him. Ken was so shy, always hiding behind his books, I wouldn't even dare to think of him as a man of his profession. He's a detective…”
It seemed as if Dr. Marude was still seemingly unimpressed, he knew that she was just hedging but you couldn't start a story in the middle just because it was convenient for the listener, “... but I gave it a chance, I just had a good feeling about it, about him.”
A small smile formed on her lips, she gazed out of the window, almost as if she wanted to forget why she was talking about him in first place, “You said I should let go of the old pain… start over new, bury whatever remained of my father and I did. For the first time in my life I felt free and this freedom meant loving Ken and I… I still do.”
What followed was a long pause, she felt choked up. Saying these words meant admitting that she knew that something was going horribly wrong, it meant giving into reality and waking up from a pleasant dream, “Everything went downhill when he decided to chase down this serial killer, I told him I don't want him to but he was so incredibly persistent, putting his job above everything else and… who am I to stop him? I didn't want our relationship to be ruined because of something I regarded as trivial…”
“Trivial…?”, she was still as naive as she was 8 years ago. Who would call things like that trivial? After all she was talking about a serial killer. Despite him saying he needed her side of the story, he of course knew the details. It was a sad story, it had been all over the news for months and only ended when two more lives were taken, one of them was Miss Kirishima’s husband.
“I thought it would be over quickly, you know like all the things you see on TV but when this child got abducted it felt as if reality started to crumble, everything was falling apart. You know, the victims he picked used to be random but one thing they had in common were that it were always adults. During the time that Ken took the case… before it even… we talked about raising a child together, we were ready but then he killed this child as if he were to mock Ken… as if he was saying, hey look, I know what you think, I can destroy your happiness before it even formed!”
At this point she felt her hands shake and her eyes water, he let her cry, he always did. She was his last patient for the day, as usual, so it didn't matter that they took longer. Not longer than needed, he was professional after all he had to be, but that didn't mean he was heartless.
“And so he abducted 4 children. 3 died. The fourth survived because Ken gave his life to protect it… whatever happened that day… they took it to their graves. The little girl died of shock later on… but is it cruel of me to say I am glad she did? I mean, whatever it was that she saw must have been horrible… whatever he put her through.”
Silence spread through the room, what was there more to say? This wasn't the last time she'd come here, Touka was certain of it and so was Dr. Marude. They quietly watched the sun set.
“Congratulations on the marriage, Itsuki,” weren't they friends by now? After hours and hours she spent here opening up to him, after all the times he watched her cry. They trusted each other, he cared about her, it wasn’t like he ever said it but his words and actions were enough for her to know it.
“Thank you, Touka,” a wide smile formed on his lips, how unusual… but not unpleasant, he looked so kind, “It was… surprising, even for me. My husband and I were friends for ages, one day he just proposed to me. It’s not… how it’s properly done I know that and I also remember what I told you about marriage years ago, but things change, don’t they?”
“They do,” But often not for the better.
“I think that’s enough for today, you need rest. Souta is still at the reception, you can make another appointment, we’ll leave after you so take your time.” They both stood up and Touka felt her legs shake, she was slowly walking to the door before she turned around one last time. Itsuki looked at her, anticipating what she had to say.
“Thank you.”
The drive back home was empty, black. A void. What was everyone else doing right now? Her uncle started dating one of Ken’s nurses, he always spent so much time by his side and then they met, he was younger than Renji, a very energetic but nice person. They did what they could for Ken… a wound to the head was such a delicate and sensitive thing. She didn’t blame them for what happened to her husband, after all they did what they can and she was more than just grateful for that.
There were no lights burning in the house, why would they even? She was alone now, maybe she should just eat something and then go to bed. When she was still a married woman, she spent a lot of time just lying on the sofa, waiting for her husband to come back home after a long shift at work. They’d eat dinner together, laugh and chat.
She used to be a teacher, she loved children… now she couldn’t stand being around them anymore. Everytime she saw one it reminded her of what happened 3 years ago, she felt empty and numb, there was no way that she could continue her work when she couldn’t stand being around something she used to love so dearly.
Her hands searched for the light switch in the dark, when she found it the bright and cold light burned in her eyes, made her tear up. That’s what she told herself to say the least, it was easier to pretend that she didn’t cry because of the pain in her chest. This place used to be a home, a happy place she couldn’t wait to return to, now it was nothing more but… functional. It wasn’t warm, it wasn’t welcoming.
Back then she still put effort into the meals she prepared, now all she wanted was something fast that filled her stomach at least for a little while. The noises she made seemed to have caught his attention and she cursed under her breath.
“Is something wrong, Touka?” He smiled at her, a little shy and a little nervous. He never liked it when people got angry and the worst was that he always knew when something was off.
“No… no it’s okay, Haise, I just burned my hand on hot china that’s all.” Instead of facing him she just stared at her meal. She hated looking at him, she didn’t want to look at him at all.
“Oh… please be more careful next time. I… uhm… I'll go back to bed then, good night,” did he do something bad? For some reason she was always distant when she was around him, other times there was this sadness in her eyes when she looked at him, this desperation, like she wanted to tell him something badly but didn’t know how. But they only just met a few months ago… what was there that she wanted to tell him? He was paying his rent, he wasn’t loud, but maybe she needed the house for herself now.
Haise wouldn’t mind if she did, he’d leave and find a new place to live, maybe she found someone she wanted to live with. It was odd, there were picture frames filling the house but they were all empty, he heard that Touka’s husband had died but still leaving empty picture frames in their old places wasn’t something people usually did.
Ah, he shouldn’t judge her, he couldn’t even imagine how it must feel to lose someone one loved so dearly and be certain they would never come back.
Just one bite, she wanted to eat just one bite but after seeing him it was hard. Should she call him…? Her hands were shaking as she pulled her phone out of her pocket, she was shaking, crying. It took a while until he picked up, he sounded surprised.
“Touka? Touka what’s wrong?”
“…,” she slowly slid down the counter until her body slowly collapsed on the kitchen floor, “I can’t do this anymore… I can’t stand being in this house anymore… uncle I don’t want to be around him…”
“... do you want me to take him in? We wouldn’t mind, the house is two big for two people and a cat anyway.”
“No, I can’t put my burden on you…,” Touka sniffled and sat up, “I did this to myself, I can’t just back out of it now… right?” Not that she wanted to abandon Haise, she knew that there was no where he could go and nobody he could ask for help, as much as she hated it, she was all that he had.
“We can take him in for a few days if you want, take him on a trip or something…”
“Thank you uncle… but… I think I’d miss him too much,” the young woman laughed bitterly and rubbed over her belly, “Can I call you back later? I need to eat something.”
“Of course you do, take care okay? I love you.”
“I love you too, thank you… tell uncle Itou I said hi,” her food was already cold but she didn’t mind, it was bland, tasted like nothing but texture. While she ate she choked and coughed, this was bad, so bad… it reminded her of the times when her family of 3 was still okay… when they were still okay…
