There really was no point in having vision that didn't revolve a full 360 degrees because it was usually from behind that life would sneak up and overtake you.

Gerard and Keith Buckley on stage sharing a microphone! Kiki was the one who found the picture but no other information. I'm really unfamiliar with Every Time I Die but I love the song Gerard featured on one of their albums "Kill The Music" (Gutter Phenomenon 2005) so after a quick youtube search, I was able to find a really shitty video of this moment.
It happened during a performance in Manchester on 08/11/05 while they were on a UK/Europe tour together.

Many Eyes - The Light Age
Man, it was a sad day a few years back when Every Time I Die randomly broke up, completely out of the blue. I loved their last album, Radical, too. It was one of the best albums of that year, and I guess it’s a great album to go out on. You can’t get much better than that, so might as well go out on a high note, even if it sucks. On the bright side, at least we got two new bands out of it — Better Lovers, which has everyone but vocalist Keith Buckley and Many Eyes, which just has Keith Buckley (and some other musicians, too). I’ll be talking about the debut Better Lovers album when it comes out next month, as I’m really excited for it, but we got the debut Many Eyes album first.
Entitled The Light Age, I was looking forward to this, although if I’m being honest, the first few songs just sounded like typical Every Time I Die with nothing new thrown in it. It’s good, but nothing too special, so I was wondering how the rest of the album would fare. Every Time I Die was known for making southern-fried metalcore, as well as dipping their toes into mathcore from time to time, but their sound was fairly rooted in a southern metalcore sound. I don’t quite know where they could have really gone after Radical, but I was looking forward to the debut album, just to see what they’d bring.
Well, for better or worse, Many Eyes’ debut, The Light Age, is pretty much an Every Time I Die album. That’s a good or bad thing, depending on who you are. That can be a great thing if you’re missing the flagship band, and you want some straightforward southern-fried metalcore jams, but if you want something more, you won’t really get it, so that can be a hindrance as well. The thing is, the sound and the performances aren’t bad, as Buckley sounds energetic and wonderful, but this all sounds like stuff I’ve heard before. On one hand, it’s really good, but on the other hand, it sounds like Every Time I Die on auto-pilot, so I haven’t gone back to this as much as I’d like.
In that respect, I’m kind of mixed on this thing, because I like its sound a lot, but it’s also nothing new or different from Buckley, especially when Radical was so good and actually had some unique ideas. This just seems like he went back to what obviously works, and I guess that’s fine, especially for a debut with his new band to reintroduce himself, but I’m hoping the next album has some new ideas and takes some risks. For what it’s worth, this record is good, but it’s not quite great. It’s worth hearing if you like Every Time I Die, or that whole southern metalcore sound, but you could always go back and listen to their earlier stuff, even though it sounds good and everyone is doing a great job, I’ve just heard this before.

Many Eyes
The Light Age
====
New band from Keith Buckley--formerly from 'Every Time I Die.' It sounds like this band is meant to highlight more of Keith Buckley. I think anyone who wants to get into metalcore, this would be the perfect introduction. Many of these could be considered some hard rock IMO, but it's not too brutal where it's not easy on the ears all the way through. This is a great album with a perfect run time of 35 minutes. This is absolutely in the running for my metal album of the year.
