it was korean thanksgiving and everyone had gone home. yet you and ricky being the only international trainees of your dorm, decided just to spend it together.

theres already been some tension during group practice, but nothing had been established. today you wanted to test the limits since it was just you two for a long weekend.

“okay everythings ready. we can start topping!” ricky cheered. you guys decided to do a pizza making competition, better tasting pizza wins, loser has to do something of the winners choice.

you guys start rolling out the dough and flattening it. both of you saucing your flat doughs at an equal pace. the similar pace had caused a conflict with the cheese though, you both grabbed it at the same time. your hand over his, but no one moving.

“you’re moving so quick, its not a timed competition,” ricky tried to be strong, but on the inside he was melting at your touch.

“mmm you should slow down too, your hand is really warm.” your sultry voice halted rickys brain function, it was enough for you to move his hand and take some extra cheese for your pizza.

he regained his composure and tried catching up to you because you were taking more toppings.

throughout, you kept knocking ur hip into ricky’s to distract him. he was playing along too, not without showing his blushing red ears.

hes a talkative person but now that he knows he’s lost he can’t admit to anything. so you help him out, testing the upper limits of your guys’ relationship.

you come close to his body and lean over to whisper in his ear, “i really like you, ricky,” you can feel him tremble, gripping the counter, “but my pizza is way better.” you pull away, smirking knowing you’ve successfully broken him.

while cleaning a counter you saw a tall young guy with brown fluffy hair come in, particularly with a cute dog. “awww whats their name?” you tippy toe to get a better look at the dog from over the counter, “eumppappa!” the dog owner said excitedly.

getting a better look at the boy you realised he was really cute and you wanted to shoot your shot. but with the cameras on and your manager having a surveillance obsession, you couldn’t be too obvious.

Ricky:

You and Ricky had been out and about all day, the mall, the park, pretty much any place you name you both had been there sometime today.

While of course it was fun and you loved every minute of it, it was also exhausting, for the both of you.

You got home and crashed onto the couch, almost already asleep.

“You know what we should do to end the perfect day perfectly??” Ricky sat next to you and poked your stomach.

“What should we do?” you sat up and looked at your boyfriend curiously.

“Let’s watch a movie!!” Ricky says with an excited expression paired with a little ‘whoop whoop’ arm dance.

I mean you were tired of course, but after he was so cute about it.. How could you possibly say no to him?! Exactly you can’t.

“Let’s do it!!” You give him back the same excited energy which made him break into a smile.

You lean against him as he turns on a movie for the two of you to watch. As your head is on his chest you can feel his heart beating. He gently puts his arm around you, which makes your heart start exploding.

You and Ricky cuddled up on the couch sharing a fluffy blanket. It was perfect.

How did you get so lucky to have a boyfriend like him!?! The biggest smile ever creeps onto your face.

About half an hour into the movie, since you were so cozy, you were having a hard time keeping your eyes open.

You carefully looked at Ricky so he didn’t notice you looking. He wouldn’t mind if you fell asleep right?.. You thought about his excited smile.. even though he probably wouldn’t mind you tried your best to stay awake. But the urge to sleep was just to strong,

Ricky was snacking on some candy, completely immersed in the movie. Then suddenly he hears a little snore. He looks down at you and sees your eyes closed and mouth open. He tries to hold back his laugh so he doesn’t wake you up but he can’t help but let out a little chuckle.

Slowly and quietly Ricky turns off the movie and cleans up the mess (all the candy wrappers). He stands in front of you and tries to think of a way he can carry you to bed without waking you up.

After really thinking it over, he comes to the conclusion that his only two options are to either: wake you up and walk you to bed or to carry you. He looks down at you, you look so peaceful. He can’t wake you up!

Nervously Ricky reaches his hands around your torso and lifts you into his arms. He tries to walk as fast as he can so he doesn’t accidentally wake you up. He’s trying so hard not to wake you he doesn’t even realize his cheeks are turning beet red.

He super carefully sets you onto the bed and pulls your favorite warm blanket over you. He quietly lays down next to you (in his attempt to not wake you), and strokes your hair for a little while. It’s so soft.

Once his hand gets tired he decides it's time for him to join you in sleeping. Kissing your cheek, he softly whispers “Goodnight..”. He then starts drifting off into dreamworld along with you.

You were so excited to go see “movie name,” a new movie that just came out on Netflix. It looked so good and you were so excited. You had been looking forward to watching the movie with your boyfriend all day. When you got home you immediately went to find Keita.

“Keiiitttaaaa,” you shouted around the house. Keita suddenly emerges from your shared room holding a bag. “What’s that??,” you walk over to Keita and try to look into the bag. “I’ll tell you once you get your PJs on,” Keita replies enthusiastically.

You quickly throw on gray satin pajamas with stars on them and head out to the living room where Keita’s waiting for you on the couch. “Here you can open it now,” Keita said, handing you the bag with a grin on his face. You open the bag and gasp as you pull out the cutest teddy bear you’ve ever laid your eyes on.

“He can watch the movie with us,” said Keita places the teddy bear in between the two of you. “Thank you I really love it,” you give your thoughtful boyfriend a hug. “Now let's start the movie!”

Keita grabs the remote and presses play. He tries to pay extra careful attention to the movie so he can match your excitement, when he feels your head plop onto his shoulder. He looks over at you and you’re out like a light.

Even though Keita is pretty chill most of the time, when it comes to you almost every little thing you do makes him giggle and kick his feet like a middle school girl. (Never in front of you though).

He’s frozen, he doesn’t want to move and accidentally wake you up. But he knows that the couch isn’t the most comfortable place to sleep. He reaches for the remote and turns off the movie.

Keita decides that he really doesn’t want to accidentally disturb your slumber, so instead of trying to carry you to bed, he instead gets up to get pillows and blankets, to make a bed for you on the couch.

He grabs two extra soft pillows and puts them under your head and neck so you don’t wake up sore. (He also makes a bed for your new teddy bear).

Keita looks at how cute you look, your mouth slightly agape. He can’t just leave you on the couch all alone!

Keita crawls onto the couch next to you, he sneaks a quick glance at you. Just looking at you makes a pink tint appear on his cheeks.

He gently brushes a piece of your hair behind your ear. (At this point his heart is already beating out of his chest so he might as well).

He can’t take being so whipped right now so he decides it's time for him to go to sleep. Even though it takes him awhile to calm down from your unintentional charm, he eventually falls asleep along with you though.

Jay had just gotten back from practice. You were in your room working on a group project, you were a bit stressed out because your group mates were making you do all the work. You’d pretty much been working on it all day.

You had told Jay about the important project the night before. So when he walked through the door to your shared apartment and called your name without an answer, he knew exactly where you were. He quietly peeked through the doorway, and snuck up behind you.

“How long have you been working on this?” He said, wrapping his arms around you. He didn’t want you to overwork yourself, but he also didn’t want to nag you.

“Most of the day, but I’m almost done.” you said trying your best to not sound tired. You know how worried Jay gets about your health sometimes, and the last thing you want to do is make him worry.

Jay paused, considering if he should just let you be or not. He realizes that you need to finish your project, buuut you said you're almost done, and it’s not due for 4 more days. One movie break shouldn’t hurt.

Cheekily Jay picks you up and throws you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He marches down the hall into the living room with a sly grin on his face.

“JAAAAY, put me down, I need to finish my projecttt,” you squirm to try and get out of his grip. It doesn’t work though.

With a sneaky grin on his face Jay pretends to almost drop you, which makes you let out a small yelp.

“Oops did I scare you?,” laughing he plops you down on the couch and flicks your forehead. You flash him a smile and flick him back. Now he’s straight up giggling and kicking his feet, he thinks you're so cute.

He sits down next to you and pulls you closer to him while turning on a movie. You lean into his touch and rest your head on his shoulder. This is way better than finishing your project, you're grateful that you have Jay.

As you're lost in thought, daydreaming about your wonderful boyfriend, he puts his hand on your head and gently plays with your hair. Right now you feel so safe and comfortable. It’s almost like he knows you're tired and is indirectly telling you, “It’s ok you should rest”. Whether he knows or not you decide to let yourself get some rest.

Jay could feel your breaths get slower and deeper. He looks at you in your now peaceful state. Yep you were definitely asleep. Looking at your relaxed facial expression his heart warms up. He really is whipped for you.

He carefully picks you up and carries you to bed. When he lays you down on the bed he can’t help but have the biggest, sweetest, smile on his face. He lays down next to you and wraps his arms around your waist.

“Goodnight,” Jay kisses your forehead, and closes his eyes. Maybe you guys should have a movie night more often.

synopsis ; you're having trouble getting your insomniac self to sleep, so you decide to ask you sleepyhead boyfriend keita for some assistance.

your eyelids heaved as they raced over to keita's sleeping face beside you. his arms around your body, encasing you in his warmth, his chest rising and falling against you, as gentle snores escaped him.

you tried to refrain from rolling your eyes. lucky him. your boyfriend never had an issue falling immediately into dreamland.

you, however, were quite the opposite. being the borderline insomniac you were, it always felt like torture having to sleep beside him every night. how was it fair that it felt as if your mind was running at a million miles per second, whilst keita was probably having the best rest of his entire life?

you rolled over to your side to face him. you couldn't help but feel a little bit of heat rise to your cheeks at the sight. his face so beautiful, so serene in the moment. you sighed and closed your eyes, keening into his warmth, burying your head in his chest.

keita audibly stirred at the movement, a sleepy sigh wisping past your ear as he pulled you impossibly closer to him. he pressed his lips against the crown of your head in a gentle kiss, a soft shudder pushing past your lips.

"sleep." voice deep and croaky as he spoke as if he'd just known how you'd been having trouble doing so tonight.

"i can't." you mumbled in response, "can't stop thinking."

he slightly opened his still exhausted eyes to look down at you.

"thinking 'bout what?" he asked, sounding both slightly concerned and curious in this dazed sense of confusion he seemed to be currently trapped in.

"everything." you said with a sigh, "feels like i can't turn my mind off. i just want to sleep."

"d'you want night-night tea?" his words slurred together in an unclean fashion, still not quite awake enough yet to be in the moment. this time you tilted your head to the side with curiosity.

"do i want what?"

"night-night tea. makes you sleepy." he said softly. you gasped and sat up with astonishment. you had never known that such a thing even existed, let alone that it was in the comfort of your very own home. it must have been a gift from the gods of sleep, pitying down on the insomniac fellows such as you.

"yes!" you said with a smile. keita was much less excited than the likes of you, however, beginning to doze off yet again. you sighed as you grabbed at one of his warm hoodie sleeves, tugging at his arm to jolt him back awake.

he groaned and sat with you, leaning his head against your shoulder as his eyes found the digital alarm clock on the nightstand, "it's two in the morning."

"exactly. and i need to sleep." you looked up at him with the most convincing face you could contort your features into; the sweetest smile and the eyes with the most sparkle, "please help me."

he sighed and rolled his eyes at your seemingly desperate measures, slipping into his raccoon slippers as he stood up, "you're not very good at that."

you grimaced back at him, putting on your matching pair of bunny slippers and following behind his groggy, limping figure as he opened the bedroom door and turned on the hallway light, "you're such a hater." you grumbled beneath your breath.

as the two of you shuffled as quietly as you could down the steps, making sure not to make a peep as to not wake anyone up, you felt your exhilaration begin to grow. how many wonders could this magical liquid work on you? was this finally the cure to your otherwise inexplicable insomnia? were you finally about to say goodbye to sleepless nights spent lying awake and staring at the ceiling? clearly your beam of happy emotion was noticeable to keita, as gestured for you to take a seat at the counter while he filled and turned on the kettle.

"how are you so giddy at two in the morning?" he asked groggily, as he opened the drawer to get out your favourite pink mug.

"i'm just excited." you smiled as he momentarily disappeared into the pantry to fetch you a magic teabag and sugar.

"don't get your hopes up too much," he said, pouring the hot water and sugar into the cup, stirring it all together with the teabag as you closely watched with intrigue, "this stuff doesn't work for everyone."

"well, i am willing to believe that it'll work for me!" you huffed, as he threw out the now used teabag and brought the drink to you, blowing into the mug before putting it down in front of you.

"it's hot. be careful." keita said, his voice although tired and grouchy, still giving you a hint of love. he closed his eyes as he rested his head against your shoulder, putting his arms around your body and hugging you from behind. you smiled and nodded, taking the mug and taking a sip, unable to think about anything other than the amazing sleep you were about to have.

what would you dream about? only the happiest of things. unicorns and bunnies and rainbows and-

it didn't work.

here you were yet again, tossing and turning and staring at the ceiling as you thunk every little thought your mind could conjure up. does a straw have one hole or two? which orange came first -- the colour or the fruit? what was first, the chicken or the-?

it was now four in the morning. you grumbled and rolled over to your side.

"this is your fault." you said. keita laid beside you, half-asleep and barely listening to what you were saying as your words went into one ear and escaped through the other.

"mmhm." he hummed.

"you jinxed it! you broke the night-night tea." you whined. keita sighed in response. he knew you didn't mean a word you said. you were just all grouchy and riled up due to the large deprivation of sleep that you were experiencing. he was sure he'd be reacting the same if it were him.

he scooted his body closer to yours, cupping your cheeks in his warm palms as he gave you a gentle peck on the tip of your nose before on your lips.

"i'm sorry for breaking the night-night tea," he said, reaching across your body as he took his phone and his earphones off of the nightstand.

you watched in confusion as he unlocked his phone, opening spotify and scrolling through his never-ending list of playlists until he stopped at the one labelled 'y/n.' your eyes widened with intrigue as you looked a little closer whilst he plugged in his earphones and leaned in closer to you to help you put them into your ears.

you couldn't help but feel so incredibly loved in his care as keita put his arms around you, the music playing and harmonising in your ears as you closed your eyes, burying your head in his chest.

"thank you." you mumbled.

"sleep well." he said softly, running his fingers through your hair as he rested his chin against the top of your head, "i love you."

keita looked down at you when you didn't respond to him, chuckling when he heard the gentle snores of victory escape you.

for once, you were fast asleep.

keita was tying your hair up. …well trying to as the way your hair fell onto your face made him feel distressed. you didn’t want to so he offered to help. one thing he didn’t realise was that he had awful skills in tying hair.

yep, all rounder rapper ita itayo didn’t know how to tie someone else’s hair properly. with another huff of frustration when the hairtie got stuck in the strands, he warned you before pulling it out with just a tiny bit of force letting your hair fall down and cover your face.

the short sharp pain made you glare at him, making him put his hands up in defense “i warned you, didn’t i?” keita reasoned, puckering up his lips wanting to lean in for a kiss. you simply placed a finger in front of his lips, lightly pushing his head back.

he pouted, trying to lean in for another but you quickly ran away. the whole house being filled of the noises of heavy footsteps from chasing and laughter. panting as you catch your breath, you surrendered in defeat when keita tackled you, peppering kisses all around your face, giggling at his ticklish touches.

all the running had got you both exhausted and ready to hit the hay. you both settled onto the shared mattress, immediately turning to each other as your hands helped rest your head. no words had to be exchanged to know how much he loved you, a soft smile paired with eyes of adoration, he booped your nose, giggling shortly after.

he turned around, huddling closer to you as you help pull him closer by the waist. keita being the smaller spoon was a normal occurrence; he loved being held and having a safe and secure presence around him. not long after, he was out like a light, soft snores audible from his side.

although you had a tight hold around him when cuddling, he somehow had got out of it and was on the edge of the bed, soundly asleep with no blanket around him as he unconsciously hugged himself for warmth.

you had accidentally stolen the blanket and left him shivering in the cold breeze. you smiled, he looked so cute when curled up in a ball, sleeves pulled over his hands in attempt for some heat. you threw the blanket over him, pulling the edges to cover his body, plopping back down and falling asleep in an instant.

later on in the night, keita woke up as he felt chilly; you stole the blanket from him.. again. he sat up, his hair sprung up to different points from moving all around the bed. he glanced over to your resting body, grinning as he found the way you wrapped yourself with the cloth like a burrito, cute.

he shifted closer to you, unwrapping a bit of the burrito and slid under the covers; nose buried into your neck, seeking the much needed warmth.
