They find out you were in a car accident.
Part 1, Part 2
Authors note: This took me a few days to write, so I hope you all enjoy! I even made the gifs myself :)

The night was enveloped in darkness as I navigated my way back home. The rain hammered against my car window, growing in intensity and size, until it obscured my vision completely. I hit the brakes, but my car lost traction and began to hydroplane. Frantically, I pumped the brakes and steered in the opposite direction, hoping to regain control. Suddenly, a black SUV, blinded by the heavy rain, collided with the back of my car, pushing it into the path of an oncoming vehicle. As the impact sent my car into a terrifying spin, I braced for the impending collision. The world turned upside down as my car flipped, and I slipped into unconsciousness upon impact.
Aizawa
Shouta had just finished his shift when he got a call to respond to a three-car accident nearby. He quickly accepted the job and hurried over to the scene. About ten minutes earlier, he had heard the crash, muffled by the rain, but it had still sounded terrible. He never expected to find your car among the vehicles involved. The SUV had pulled over farther down the street, its front end completely wrecked. The red sedan, which had collided with your car, was in even worse shape - its front end was completely gone, and the sides were scraped from flipping over and sliding.
The drivers of both vehicles sustained minimal injuries in the accident. However, you were still trapped in the wreckage of your car, and there was no update on your condition. The road was littered with debris from your vehicle, and the extent of the damage was evident. The roof, front, and back ends of your car were severely caved in from the collision with both a sedan and an SUV. Onlookers could see the shock on the face of a bystander who struggled to contain his emotions as he witnessed the emergency responders working tirelessly in the pouring rain to assist the accident victims.
He was struggling to keep his emotions in check, but he knew he had to remain focused on his responsibilities. After gathering information from the paramedics, he learned that the collision occurred when a black SUV hydroplaned and collided with their car. The driver of the red sedan, who was under the influence and speeding, also failed to avoid the crash. Upon hearing about the red sedan, Shouta's anger flared, but his priority was ensuring your well-being. Leaving the police and paramedics to handle the investigation and care for those involved, Shouta hurried toward your location.
Upon finally laying eyes on the wreckage of your car up close, Shouta swore he stopped breathing. The interior of the car was in disarray, with airbags deployed and debris scattered across the seats. He could even see your blood splattered across the airbags and the interior of the car. The door had been forcefully opened with a tool, and the grimace on his face reflected his distress at the scene. The ambulance had whisked you away not long ago, leaving him in a state of panic. The uncertainty of whether you were alive or not had his mind reeling. All rational thought escaped him as he stood fixated on the scene of the crash. Would they take a deceased person to the hospital? The sound of an officer calling out broke him from his thoughts, and he refocused to exchange information and resolve the situation as quickly as possible, eager to hurry to the hospital.
Hawks
Keigo had finally made it home after a grueling shift. He stood outside, shaking the water from his wings before stepping into the cozy space the two of you shared. Keigo cast his gaze around the house, searching for any sign of your presence, but found that you hadn't returned yet. Despite the concern that crept into his mind, he reassured himself that you were likely just delayed by the traffic compounded by the pouring rain outside.
Keigo let out a tired yawn as he extended his arms in a long, satisfying stretch before making his way to the bedroom. With a sense of relief, he placed his headset and glasses on the dresser next to his bed, then selected a comfortable set of clothes and made his way to the bathroom. After turning on the shower, he peeled off his damp uniform and jacket, feeling the chill of the room against his skin. Stepping into the shower, the contrast of the warm water against his cold skin sent a shiver down his spine, causing his feathers to puff up. As the warmth enveloped him, Keigo couldn't help but relish the sensation, taking a moment to soothe the sore parts of his body before finally proceeding to lather up and wash away the day's exhaustion.
Keigo reached for the bottle of shampoo as the sound of his ringing phone filled the air. He made a note to check it afterward and continued with his hair washing routine. As he rinsed the shampoo out of his hair, the phone rang once more, but he chose to ignore it and focus on his shower. Finally done, he reached for a towel after stepping out.
As Keigo finishes showering and begins to dry himself off, he grabs a fresh towel and uses it to gently pat his hair dry. He then picks up his phone from the bathroom and heads back to the bedroom. Keigo unlocks his phone and listens to a voicemail left by someone who had called him earlier. Placing the phone on speaker, he sets it down on the bed and continues to dry off before changing into his sleepwear.
The moment Keigo heard the words "Yuriko Harusa calling from the hospital regarding your fiancé (Y/n) (L/n)" he felt a jolt of panic surge through him. His heart raced as he listened further, his mind unable to process the news. After hearing that (Y/n) had been in a car accident and was currently undergoing surgery, Keigo's sense of urgency was overwhelming. He ended the call abruptly, his movements becoming frenzied as he snatched his keys from the nightstand and sprinted out to his car, his mind racing with worry and fear.
Dabi
Dabi sat quietly in the shelter of your screened-in back patio, patiently awaiting your return. Draped in the throw blanket you had thoughtfully left on the swinging chair, he watched the rain cascading down and listened to the soothing sound of the water flowing from the gutters. As he glanced at his phone, a frown creased his brow. The time displayed on the screen stood out starkly: 10:42 P.M. His cyan eyes darkened with disappointment. It would have been much better if you had arrived an hour earlier.
What might have occurred to you? Were you captured by a villain? Or did a hero intervene and bring you in for interrogation? The foremost question on the villain’s mind was your well-being. With that, he rises from the rocking chair on the veranda, neatly folds the blanket before returning it to its place on the seat, and then pulls his hood up as he steps out of the enclosure and into the pouring rain.
Dabi trudged down the street, his expression twisted in anger as the relentless rain drenched him. After walking for what felt like an eternity, he rounded a corner and abruptly halted, ducking behind the nearest building. The flashing lights of a police car had caught him off guard. Peering cautiously around the corner, his heart sank as he spotted a tow truck hauling away your car. The vehicle dangled precariously above the ground, destined to join two other mangled cars on the truck's lift.
Dabi was taken aback as his eyes widened in shock, feeling a sudden surge of emotions that made him queasy. It was clear that you were not okay, and he regretted not ignoring his initial instincts and waiting outside the building where you worked. The thought of being in the car at that moment made him shudder at the realization that things could have been much worse.
After re-evaluating the situation, it's clear that having him present could have jeopardized your relationship and led to legal consequences for both of you. He evidently prioritized your well-being over his own, evidenced by his willingness to see you injured rather than facing a possible prison sentence due to his reckless actions. As his quirk was triggered by intense emotions of anger, worry, and despair, the burn of Dabi's skin hinted at the depth of his distress. However, the most important thing now is your well-being. Although you were roughed up, the important thing is that you're safe and will be home soon.
As one of the officers patrolled the area, he suddenly heard a strange hissing sound. Intrigued, he turned his head and headed towards the source of the noise. In the dim light, he caught a glimpse of a dark figure vanishing around the corner of a nearby building. Alarmed, he quickly drew his pistol and hurried after the mysterious figure. Rounding the corner, he found himself face to face with an empty, silent street. Perplexed, he scanned the area, trying to make sense of what he had seen. As he lowered his weapon, he noticed a solitary droplet of blood staining the concrete, slowly being washed away.
Bakugo
Bakugo was dealing with a group of powerful villains, one of whom had the ability to control vehicles. Two of the villains had already been captured, leaving only the remaining foe to deal with. As Bakugo prepared to blind the villain with a powerful blast to assist Izuku in capturing him, he suddenly heard a screeching sound followed by a loud crashing noise.
Exclaiming in frustration, he let out a strong shout as he successfully blinded the enemy, creating an opening for Izuku to swiftly employ black whip and restrain the adversary.
Amidst his struggle with the villains, he shouted, 'Can someone check on the civilians!' and swiftly called for reinforcements to take the villains into custody. He also requested ambulances to provide aid to the injured.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm on it," he yelled as he darted towards the direction of the crashes. He quickly made his way to a black SUV and checked on the family inside to make sure they were okay. After that, he rushed over to the man in the red sedan. The man seemed dazed but appeared to be alright, although there was a possibility of a concussion. Katsuki was taken aback to see your car in the midst of the wreckage.
"Baby! Hey!" He shouts at the top of his lungs while dashing as swiftly as possible towards the car. It had overturned, and you were dangling upside down in your seat, unconscious. He rapidly evaluates the scene before touching his headset to inform Izuku of the situation. "Three cars were involved in the accident. There's a black SUV with an apparently unharmed family, a red sedan with a man who may have a concussion, and (Y/n) is unconscious amidst the wreckage of her vehicle," he conveys urgently.
"Is she okay?" Izuku's concerned voice came through the speaker.
Katsuki's voice crackled through his headset, filled with anger and concern. "She better be okay. Otherwise, I will handle that villain myself," he growled. The thought of that damn villain escaping justice and reappearing filled him with fury. The mere possibility of encountering the villain again made him shudder with a violent resolve.
Izuku assured, "I'll take care of everything once these villains are apprehended and removed. You should accompany her to the hospital."
"Hey, come on, baby!" Katsuki cries out as he reaches through the shattered glass to unlock the door and gently unbuckle your seatbelt, catching you in the process. You were cold, and he could see the shock on your face. "Shit," he mutters as he quickly carries you beneath the awning of a building. With urgency, he gently places you down on your back and immediately checks for a pulse. A sense of panic sets in when he realizes that you didn't have one.
“Fuck! Fuck!” Katsuki's voice reverberates through the headset, his eyes brimming with tears, but he fights to keep them from falling. "She doesn't have a pulse!" His urgent cry pierces the air, mingling with the distant wail of police sirens against the backdrop of pouring rain. Without hesitation, he swiftly begins CPR, his every movement charged with a sense of desperate determination.
Katsuki's hands are firmly pressed against your chest as he starts administering chest compressions, then leans over to breathe into your mouth, repeating the sequence with urgency. "Come on. Come on!" He shouts while vigorously compressing your chest once more, then swiftly switches to exhaling air into your mouth again. His heart pounded in his chest with overwhelming fear. The thought of losing you was unbearable. It felt unjust that you were in this situation. The idea of losing you was inconceivable. If only he had been faster, he could have prevented this. Katsuki couldn't keep track of how long he had been repeating the same actions or when his pleas and tears had started. It was all a hazy blur. The ambulance whisked you away, and Izuku had to physically pull him away from you. He struggled against Izuku's restraining black whip as he desperately attempted to reach you. The memory of that moment was blurry as he sat in the living room of Kirishima's house.
Kirishima was seated with his legs apart and his hands clasped between his knees, leaning forward attentively as he observed Katsuki. Sitting next to Kirishima was Izuku, who also had his legs spread and was holding his head in exasperation with both hands. Katsuki sat across from them on the couch, seemingly catatonic, with his narrow, dark eyes fixated on the floor. Izuku had brought Katsuki over to Kirishima's house in an attempt to help him calm down and defuse the tense situation.
Kirishima had hastily welcomed them into his home and handed the two boys towels to dry off. Izuku quickly dried himself, while Katsuki disregarded the towel and flopped down on the couch, unmoving. His mind was consumed with thoughts of when you would return and be held in his arms once more.

birds of a feather | takami keigo
synopsis ↬ keigo adores your wings
warnings ↬ none ! a short idea of hawks and a winged reader, a few swear words

Working in Kyushu, Keigo was not a stranger to the impressive and unique quirks possessed by its citizens. Some strange and practically useless while others seemed to the epitome of wasted potential. He learned this all from observing the bustling city while perched at the highest points of skyscrapers. Staring down with his golden orbs, hidden from the view of cameras and nosy civilians. It felt refreshing to take a break. To exhale the stresses of the day and reminisce on his failures while hoping that tomorrow would be better. His red wings, although covered under the dark night sky, seemed to glow as they tucked into his body.
Keigo watched and waited for a call of despair. Someone to bring him out of his thoughts as he swooped down to aid them. Yet it never came, and for one night he could rest peacefully.
The morning soon approached, and he found himself lounging in Endeavor’s office. For the first time, his heavy wings seemed reluctant to unfold and fly to his destination. He didn’t want to return to the headquarters of Commission, that could wait until later. Keigo’s role model didn’t seem too pleased with his sudden desire to distract himself from work. He would’ve forced the young hero out of his office, but knowing how persistent Keigo is, Endeavor allowed him to stay.
Until the flatscreen television hanging on the brown walls began flashing with breaking news:
‘School Attacked by a Lone Villain in Kyushu. Students And Nearby Residents Injured’
Keigo could feel the blazing heat erupting from the skin of the older hero as they both watched on, stunned. A chilling sense of guilt erupted through his spirit. While the town he swore to protect was crumbling, he was nowhere present. A news anchor reported that the heroes in the area were in need of assistance and the Number 2 hero was missing. Unlike his usual demeanor, Keigo was too transfixed on the bright screen to listen to his surroundings. The young hero that seemed to take life too 'fast' found his wings bound and stiff, scared yet unmotivated to move.
“Endeavor, the heroes in Kyushu are requesting back up!” A lime-green haired sidekick burst through the door unannounced. The flames on her head flickered in distress and anguish. “There are reports of more villains in the area!”
“Got it. Dispatch the other sidekicks to Kyushu.” Endeavor turned his head towards Keigo, who was surprisingly still resting in his office. “Hawks? Hawks...?”
Calling the avian hero’s name was a waste; the words went in one of his ears and out the other. Instead, his eyes were glued to the screen. As every second passed, there were new images and updates appearing. Keigo’s shattering heart failed to take notice of Endeavor’s presence. His wings began to seize up briefly; they weren't moving but felt as if they were constricting his lungs.
As he soon began to reawaken from his thoughts of self-loathing, a picture emerged on the television that regained his attention — even making the flame hero next to him stare on in curiosity:
There you were, arms full and clutching numerous children as you escaped the burning school behind them. Each of them clung to your body in desperation as if it would be their last day. You pulled them closer to you in a painfully tight embrace while shielding them from the explosion behind, too scared that they would somehow injure themselves. As the image zoomed out, he felt his heart jitter at the sight of falling feathers coming off your back.
Your wings expanded and stretched out covering the students in your arms. The size could easily compete with his own; Keigo was certain that you surpassed him in width. You were holding them mid-flight, suspended in the air and fleeing from chaos. He didn’t understand why your face filled with an expression of pain until he noticed orange patches of flames cover some of your feathers. He knew from his own experience that they would eventually turn to ashes, but you didn’t seem to care.
In the photo, your face was covered by the dust and rubble of exploding debris. Your head tilted downwards, only displaying a large frown and gritted teeth. Some wounds on your body gushed with blood — a sharp contrast to the children who were unscathed under the shield of your wings. Only your body, which unnaturally contorted in an oddly graceful position, could be seen clearly. Your clothing was a cheaply made costume. It was quite obvious that you weren't a professional or well-known, but your movements showed nothing but pure skill.
The news aired more videos of the attack, your wings were the center of attention for Keigo's eyes. After rescuing the children in your arms, you immediately flew back into the school. Moving too fast for the camera, too fast for Keigo to see your face and majestic movements. Only a blur of your wings was captured by the cameras. You kept going, although your body ached. While the heroes in Kyushu were too busy keeping the villains at bay, your prime focus became saving the lives of the children.
Endeavor's fingers wrapped tightly around Keigo's arm before shaking him violently to pull him out of his trance. He shouted at the younger man and dragged him from his seat to accompany the rest of his sidekicks on their quick trip to Kyushu.
As his wings braced the harsh sky, they flew with an unknown sense of vigor. Soaring past tall skyscrapers that blocked his route to your destination. A glimmer of red was the only thing caught by the eyes of passersby. Keigo desperately wanted to know your identity and see you flying in person.
When he landed on the scene, one of the first heroes to arrive, the cries of some injured civilians first caught his attention. Red feathers plucked from his wings hooked under each person, raising them off the ground, and taking them to safety. Endeavor, his sidekicks, and other heroes dealt with the villains causing terror while Keigo and a few others prioritized rescue. Bustling to try and aid every wounded person, he couldn’t help but search for your majestic wings in the process.
You were no where to be found.
Vanishing into the cloudy sky once you finished your duties of the day. You made sure every single student was cared for and taken out of the building to a safe location. As if his luck was nonexistent, you took off just as he landed. If his gaze was focused on the clouds, he would’ve seen you floating above them like an angel.
The rescue finished with ease and all of the villains responsible were captured. Another routine day on the job for the others, but not for Keigo. The image of your expanded wings covering the children replayed in his mind over again, making a chill run down his spine and causing his wings to shudder. Of course, he wasn’t the only being mesmerized by your heroic performance.
From the media, to hero agencies looking to scout you, and to the parents of the students you saved wanting to thank you; everyone was transfixed on learning about the new avian hero. You were the first to arrive before anyone else, faster than Keigo who received harsh criticism for his disappearance. There was no hero name assigned to you and every single picture of you in action had your blurred your face.
The headlines of the news for the following days of the attack only focused on you:
‘Unknown Hero Bravely Rescues Students from Blazing Building’
‘Has A New Avian Hero Appeared? Shocking Details Emerge of Kyushu’s Next Hero Who Saved Children Resulting in No Casualties’
‘Is The New Winged-Hero Related to Hawks? Reports From Kyushu Believe That They Will Become His Replacement’
Of course, you were now obviously linked with Keigo. His coincidental arrival after your departure only caused these rumors to spread like wildfire. Various ones suggesting that you two were siblings or even married. Neither was true. You’d never met him before, only seeing him on television a few times just like he saw you.
Upon arriving to Commission’s headquarters, Keigo demanded a search for you. At first, they seemed reluctant but seeing his frantic state, they obliged. After extensive searching, finally they managed to retrieve a profile of someone who matched your details to a perfection. The giveaway being your stunning wings outstretched for a mandatory photo displaying your quirk.
Your name, address, age, and birthplace were all accessible for him to see. To his surprise, you weren’t from Kyushu — only passing through the town briefly. Your movements were always sporadic, a new town every few days and rarely captured on camera. Apparently, there were other sightings of your wings during minor altercations with villains or civilians in danger. Yet, you constantly wore a mask that covered your entire face. Then, Keigo realized…
You were a vigilante.
Unlicensed 'heroes' that acted without focusing on the law; no wonder Commission tried to keep you a secret from him. Although you wanted to stay hidden, they managed to collect vast amounts of information about you. Every single detail they could get their hands on. Apparently, they wanted to offer you a position as a hero under them, just like Keigo. To train and mold you under his wing; each display of your actions made them more interested in you.
In exchange, any pending charges on you for your illegal hero work would be erased. There was no way you could refuse, and even if you did, they would keep pressing. You were an opportunity that no one wanted to waste.
Commission last captured you entering a small clinic in Kyushu. Keigo figured you were still in the area, the burns to your wings were too severe for you to ignore. You weren’t seen leaving any exit of the clinic; it was only a matter of time before you flew off into the clouds again.
His wings moved before his mind was set. Unsure of where you were, Keigo knew he had to find you before you disappeared again. It wasn’t possible for you to go far, he thought. The burns on your wings made him wince; it was the enemy of your kind. Flying past the tall skyscrapers and through the dark sky clouding over Kyushu. Keigo’s flaw was being fast, just ‘too fast’. Not even his own sidekicks could keep up.
The clinic was in his view, right under him. A few of his usual fan girls screamed out his name once they saw him land. The Commission would be on him any minute if they knew what he did — a quick greeting before brushing past the eager fans wanting pictures and autographs.
There was no time, you had to be here. Just as he came to the front door, Keigo was spotted by another fan working inside.
“Hawks!? What are you doing here?” A receptionist asked, nearly spilling her drink. “Do you need help?”
“No, no… I’m looking for someone.” Keigo proceeded to tell her about you, your appearance, and the majestic wings that took his breath away.
“They were just here a minute ago. You’re too late. They wanted treatment for their wounds but refused to give identification.”
Too late. The first time he’s ever heard those words used in the same sentence as his name.
“Shit.” The receptionist kept pressing him, but Keigo was already behind. “Thanks, but I need to go.”
As soon as the cold night’s air hit his face, he was in the air. Extending his crimson wings at their full length as he entered the sky. Keigo scanned every corner and rooftop he could. You needed medication for your wings, so you most likely couldn’t fly. It shouldn’t be hard to spot you, if that was the case. The blinding lights of Kyushu strained his tired eyes, he wouldn't have a problem with that on a usual workday.
Where could you be? Always just a few seconds faster than he was, but he couldn't seem to catch up. Keigo pushed through his aching eyes; surely there was no way he would miss you again.
The glimmer of your wings caught his attention first, and then he saw you. They were tightly bandaged together, along with a few scars presumably from when you rescued those kids. You walked down a dark alley between some rundown buildings. Keigo took a chance, swooping down right into the alley with you.
"Hey," You heard Keigo land with a gust of wind sweeping under your feet. He didn't seem to appreciate your refusal to acknowledge him.
"What?" Every time you turned on the television or opened your phone, you saw him. Of course, you knew who he was.
"Gosh, do you know how hard it was to find you, baby bird? You could at least give me a warmer welcome." Keigo smirked up at you with his hand outstretched. Don't tell me he wants a hug or something, you thought.
"What do you want?" The answer to that... he wasn't sure.
"Jus' wanna have a talk with you," He points out to your wounds. "What happened to those pretty wings of yours?"
"Why do you need to know?"
Truthfully, you had no intention being rude to him, but the entire encounter made you feel odd. The flashy heroes like Hawks were the ones you disliked the most. Sure, you could respect them for their dedication and diligence, but something about it was off-putting. You didn't want to sound like Stain — you didn't think they should be killed for it — the legitimacy of their work frustrated you the most.
"I'm sure your aware of the villain attack at the school that occurred a few days ago." His tone changed, no longer sounding as friendly as he did in the beginning. "You were there, weren't you?"
"I was." Those damn reporters and their cameras. Trying to cover your face during the entire time was enough of a problem.
"Then I'm sure your aware vigilantism is illegal."
"I know. I'm willing to take that risk."
"Then let's make this easy for ourselves. I don't want to report you." Feathers fall from his wings, pointed directly at you and ready to act.
"You're really gonna fight me?"
Now, you realize why you have a disdain for heroes like him. They always acted like puppets for the law, who didn't really have a care in the world for them. To risk your life in such a pointless way. Rules are rules, fine. But how could you agree to those regulations when they impeded your morality?
"If I don't have to, I won't." If he tried, it would be over quickly. Your wings can't do much in attack, only for rescues and fleeing. They are bound to your back and if you ran, he would surely catch you.
"Seriously? I don't believe you."
"Why would I try anything? You and I are the same." Keigo didn't want to hurt you, but his job left no choice if you resisted. "I don't believe in kicking a dead man down."
It's not often that he sees someone with the same quirk as him. Keigo won't let such a pretty bird like you slip under his fingers again, just like in the past. He has you here now, and he refuses to let you out of his sight — no matter what happens.
"Then? How do you suggest we solve this?"
"Those wings won't heal if you keep them like that. I know you're trying to treat them on your own." His feathers return to his wings, and he stretches his arms out in a welcoming manner. "If you come with me, I can help heal them."
"No thanks, I'm not stupid enough to fall for that." You start to turn away from him, but he calls for you.
"I'd never tell a lie to you, birdie. I can take you to my house and give you any medicine I have. If you change your mind, just tell me and I'll let you go."
On a normal day, you would've gone home and treated yourself, but these burns were taking forever to heal. It could easily become an infection if you weren't careful. You sighed, bracing yourself for your arrest and the end of your career as a vigilante. Keigo wouldn't let his happiness slip out as you reluctantly nodded along to his agreement.
In a swift move, he lifts you up bridal-style off the ground and takes off into the night again. It's been too long since you had flown, Keigo has pity on you. Although, this was your first time being carried in this way. He was gentle and soared slow enough for you to take in the beauty of the city at night; you've always been 'too fast for your own good'.
Seeing your eyes fill with wonder at the sight of the city, Keigo says, "I take it you don't fly here often?"
"Usually, I don't. I try not to get spotted. Can't really stay in one place for a long time."
"It's a shame, pretty bird. I'm not sure what I would do if I lost my wings like that."
"Whatever, they'll grow back."
"That's not what I mean," He dips down, expanding his wings for a soft landing. "Those who can fly, should fly. We shouldn't keep ourselves trapped to the ground."
Keigo sets you down carefully. He lands just outside a small building in a region of Kyushu that you haven’t explored yet. Scanning the environment, it’s quiet here; the noise of traffic is faint and hardly any citizens walk freely. You can hear the soft sounds of crickets chirping nearby. It wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing environment, but it was suitable for the peace Keigo needed.
He leads you to the front door, you two walk to the side of the building. The entrance is tucked away, out of the view of any passersby — although there seemed to be none. Keigo briefly thought about bringing you back to the ‘fake’ apartment Commission gave him when he first started working for them, but the idea was quickly shot down. Who knows if that place had been bugged?
The flights of stairs downwards and the maze of hallways makes your head spin. Ah, fuck. He was probably taking you to some secret place where the police would ambush you or some shit. If it wasn’t obvious to you now, it was certainly over.
When you reach the entrance of his apartment, he fumbles in his pockets for the keys. After unlocking the door, Keigo motions for you to go in first — he was trying to be a gentleman of course. You refused to move though, and he couldn’t blame you. He would be on the edge too if he were you.
He took the first step inside his apartment. The familiar scent of his surroundings made his mind ease, but only for a second.
There were no other people inside, as you previously thought. It didn’t take much to realize this, anyways. The whole apartment lacked something essential, furniture. For such a flashy hero, you were shocked. Surely this wasn’t his. The living room only contained a rug, a small desk on top of it, and a singular cushion for him to sit.
You peek around the corner to find the kitchen, the only appliances are an electric tea kettle and a microwave. There was no need for you to look through his other rooms; you already had an idea of what they might look like.
“Jus’ let me grab my first-aid kit first.” He ushers you to sit down on the soft cushion.
There’s a small night table in the corner of the room. The lamp on the table and ceiling light were the only sources of light in the whole room. His home is located underground, there are no windows. It didn’t seem real at first, you thought he was lying to you.
Keigo opens the drawer and pulls out a first-aid kit. Most of the items have been used, but thankfully you don't need those. Commission purposefully included medication that was needed to help manage his wings.
"It feels like an asylum in here." You manage to say, trying to feel at ease in the cramped space.
"I don't spend much time in here, so I never felt the need to decorate." Keigo walks to you, holding a jar of ointment in his hand.
Carefully, you remove the bandages — some are completely red and damp with blood. When did it get this bad? You were used to enduring the pain, but maybe you took it too far?
"Doesn't it feel lonely in here?"
"Well, not if I've been working all day." Keigo tries to apply the substance to your wings, but he pauses at the sight. It was hard to believe that the once grandiose wings that protected those victims, could get ruined like this. "Dove, you haven't taken good care of yourself..."
His voice sounds... disappointed. You haven't dealt with an injury like this before and your friends, who were also vigilantes, had no idea how to care for you. That was how rare bird-types like you and Hawks were. A once in a lifetime encounter, especially in Kyushu.
"I realize that now..."
"This might hurt a little. I'm all out of painkillers." He really doesn't want to do this, but he's left with no choice. "There's too much blood. They didn't heal properly." A sharp stinging pain erupts in all the places he's plucked your feathers. Keigo places them in a small pile on the ground.
Finally, he can some flesh that's been hiding under your feathers. Raw and charred from the fire. Keigo applies the ointment on his fingertips before massaging it into your skin, gently. Your body tenses up at the uncomfortable feeling, but it isn't anything that you aren't used to. Once he's finished, he wraps the wounded areas in new bandages while allowing for some to breathe.
"Thanks..." You rest on the floor for a while. Keigo puts away all his materials back to their spot.
A few minutes pass; you two have started a new conversation now. He tries to ask more about your personal life, but you gave vague answers. Despite the fact that he was kind enough to heal you, you still couldn't trust him. Keigo makes his home more welcoming for you; there's no need for you to worry about the Commission or police, they don't know about the secret home he's made for himself. In fact, you were the first guest to enter — not even brief hookups or close friends knew.
Keigo was aware that it was wrong. If Commission learned that he allowed a vigilante to become this close to him, they would light a fire under his ass. Yet, he got rush from it all. This whole time, he was worried about his impression on you, but could he even trust you? It wouldn't be a smart choice for you to deceive him under these circumstances. There was something about you that he found exciting — the fact that you were not caged.
Free to stretch your wings as far as they could go without being held back by any institution, Keigo was jealous. Not a care in the world; nothing to hold you back from helping those in need.
Simply being near you gave Keigo a surge of adrenaline that he wanted to be high on, forever. He's already decided that he wants to keep you. After all, he can't help but get what he wants.
When you were finally ready to leave in the morning, he just couldn't accept that. Following you around on his free time like a lost fawn. Didn't he have work to do? He tells you it's all assigned to his sidekicks and someone name Tsukuyomi, there's no need for you to worry. You aren't interested in a friendship. Well, you might’ve considered if he hadn't been so pushy. At first, Keigo claimed it was just a way for him to monitor your progress with healing. But as your feathers grew back over the next few days, fuller than before, he wouldn't budge.
Of course, Commission has kept their eyes on him. It's against the code of conduct for a hero to be aware of a vigilante, but refuse to turn them in. Whichever way he wanted to look at it, the entire relationship shouldn't have gone this far. Surely, he would've been scolded by the Commission at some point. Keigo came up with the perfect lie:
"It's just for work and nothin' else. We could make a great team. It's a good opportunity now that we have been trying to scout them for so long..."
It was true; Commission had their eyes on you for a while now, even willing to overlook your lack of licensing. They were capable of pulling a few strings, just for you. Even considering forging documents and finding loopholes in the system to exploit and have you on their team. Each time, you declined. Keigo had respect for you. He didn't have much of a choice on his outcome in life. He gave you praises for being firm.
All he needed to do was win you over.
His detective skills were immaculate. After you completely healed your wings, you went back to your vigilante work. Thankfully, your schedules were too conflicting for him to keep up. As he was making progress with the League of Villains, he had less time dedicated to you. That took a while, you thought. Now it was all over...
Hawks was one persistent fucker. What he wants, he gets. That was certainly a strong motto to live by. It didn't take long for him to hear news of villain attacks. He always learns of it first; news travels fast, just like him. They all happened to be villains you were fighting and investigating — he really went out of his way to screw up your work. You couldn't do anything with all these heroes around!
Each time, he soared with you in his arms. Pretending as if it was the first time he'd ever flown with you. He knew you could handle yourself at this point, but he just wouldn't let go this time. Scooping you up like a damsel in distress. You tried to slap his arms away, but he wouldn't budge. Even if it was difficult for him to fly with your heavy wings taking most of the space, Keigo didn't mind. Fed up, you slapped his chest and ordered him to put you down:
"Hawks! Put me down! God, why can't you leave me alone?" This time, you yell into his chest as he pulls you tighter to him.
"There's a simple answer for that, dove. I want to say that we're the same. But that's just not true, you're more resilient than me." Keigo slows down and lands on top of the highest point of a tall, skyscraper. He won't give up and release you, though. "Birds of a feather, gotta stick together, right?"

domestic > keigo takami/hawks (mha)
Word Count: 3.6k
Ship: Keigo/Hawks x Reader
Warnings: Corrupt hero commission (we hate the hero commission on this blog), keigo overworks himself, keigo & reader fight, miscommunication, some cursing, keigo’s a little shit (he has his reasons okay), mentions of a rescue mission and the aftermath, hurt/comfort
A/N: So sorry this fic is so delayed 😭 Have been going Through It lately but I’ve got a few fics queued up to make up for my absence ❤️ This is my favorite Keigo fic so far
“pro hero hawks is the first on the scene!”
“pro hero hawks took down the villain that’s injured dozens, including some pro heroes!”
“another takedown by pro hero hawks.”
“hawks is finally on the scene, this should be over soon.”
-
keigo wasn’t answering his phone. which was expected for the first night. he had just come home from a week long mission and on his flight home, another issue came up that he had to answer to. he didn’t get home until midnight, having refused any other hero’s offer to relieve him once his shift had technically ended, until best jeanist all but escorted him off the scene. you had hoped keigo had been resting when you walked into your office the next morning, until you looked at the news and saw he was already back out on patrols.
when you walked into keigo’s office, you expected to see a mountain of paperwork on his desk. you were fully prepared to work all day to catch him up, hoping to surprise him by finishing all his work for him. you were the one surprised when you saw only one paper on his desk, a note for you.
‘gonna be working late tonight, don’t wait up for me’
you scowled as you read the note, even if you had to fight the urge to melt when you saw the little bird doodle keigo had signed the note with. you once again called keigo, this time his work number, and you resisted the urge to throw your phone at the wall when your call once again went unanswered. you pulled up your text conversation with keigo and began to type.
‘you’re going home tonight. i will be outside at eight and you will let me in. i am not kidding when i tell you i’ll wait all night. please, just let me know you’re okay.’
you knew the text would go unanswered, but you hoped. you hoped that he would read it, at the least. that he would talk to you. your phone buzzed and you quickly picked it up, and you sighed when it was just another text from rumi.
‘i’ve seen him pass by once or twice, but he doesn’t stop. i’ve got a few others looking out for him, i’ll let you know if i hear anything’
you set your phone down with a sigh as you sat back in the office chair. this was going to be a long night.
you texted keigo a warning before you entered his apartment. you had been given a key by keigo to use in case of emergencies, and your chatty birdbrain suddenly ghosting you is an emergency in your eyes. it was two AM when you entered, and you felt your eyes begin to sting when you realized keigo wasn’t home. a quick search on the hero network showed that he was last seen a little after ten, and none of your own security alerts had gone off at your apartment. he was at his agency, avoiding you. it stung, the avoidance settling heavy in your chest, weighing you down as if there was a physical weight on your body.
you texted a quick update to rumi before you left keigo’s, and you made the walk back to your own apartment. keigo would definitely have lectured you any other time if he knew you walked home alone, and a selfish part of you hoped he’d find out. you’d take the scolding if it meant he would talk to you.
you flinched as you heard a voice speak from beside you.
“surprised he let you walk home alone at this hour,” you relaxed once you recognized the drawl of eraserhead’s voice. “your guard bird working tonight?”
“you’re going to sneak up on me at the wrong time one day and you’re going to get your shit rocked,” you replied, no real heat to your words.
“i’ll take my chances.” a hint of a smirk graced his face before it relaxed into his usual stoic expression.
“but no, he’s not working tonight.” you paused. “not patrolling at least. he is working hard at avoiding me, though.” while you and eraserhead, aizawa, had only met a few times, you had established a friendly relationship with the underground hero. you had also developed a friendship with present mic, which seemed to influence eraserhead’s opinion of you. odd.
“that’s… different.” eraserhead says after a moment. “i’ll keep an eye out for him, and i’ll have hiz- present mic look out for him as well.”
the two of you continued to talk as he escorted you to your apartment. minutes later, you opened the door to your apartment and let the door shut with a soft click, and you barely made it to the couch before you fell asleep.
-
“ooh, rough night?” one of the tech interns, kazuki, teases as he watches you walk in.
“hilarious.” you scowled. you knew you looked tired; you woke up frequently throughout the night, unable to sleep for more than half an hour at a time. you gave up on sleep around five thirty this morning, and you clutched to the thermos of coffee in your hands like it was the only thing keeping you alive. “didn’t really sleep much last night.”
“hawks working you too hard? i saw him walking around a few minutes ago. looks like he was headed to his office,” your heart stopped at those words. was he actually here?
“thank you, kazuki!” you called as you sprinted for the elevator, reminding yourself to send kazuki a proper thank you later. when you burst into keigo’s office, you jumped back as a sharpened red feather flew at you, stopping mere centimeters away from your neck.
“shit, you scared me.” keigo smiled when he recognized you, and the sight of it filled you with anger. “oh, sorry. let me just.” keigo’s feather returned to its natural state and you swatted it away as it went to caress your cheek, not in the mood for his usually sweet antics. “songbird? you okay?”
and you couldn’t help but laugh. full body, doubled over laughs. keigo tilted his head, confusion flashing across his face as you continued to laugh. your name left keigo’s lips, and you recognized the slight movements he was making. he was twitchy, like he wanted to move but he couldn’t decide which move was the best. you could practically hear the wheels in his head turning and you looked up at the ceiling as you felt the familiar sting of unshed tears in your eyes.
“you son of a bitch,” you whispered. you looked at him and his form became blurry, the tears now sliding down your cheeks. “you, you have me worried for days. you ignored my calls and texts, i even had other heroes looking out for you!” you started to walk towards him and you stopped just out of his reach. “you went to the point of staying here to avoid seeing me. why?” you finally met his gaze and golden eyes were filled with an emotion you didn’t recognize. his gaze was cold, distant. yet still, he kept the smile on his face, the smile he plastered on for annoying news reporters.
“i’ve been busy.”
“you’re running yourself ragged! you’re going to get hurt or cause someone else to get hurt because you’re working yourself to death.” you reached out and jabbed him in the chest.
“you don’t understand. you never will, so why are you even trying to? i can’t answer every call and text from my assistant.”
“that’s all i am to you? your assistant?” you asked. you were met with silence and you felt your heart begin to break. “look me in the eyes and tell me that’s all i am to you. and i promise, from now on, that’s all you’ll get from me.”
“what else would you be?”
wordlessly, you dug your key ring from your jacket pocket. you pulled off the key that belonged to keigo’s, to hawks’s, apartment and you set it down on his desk.
“noted. since you’ve clearly got a handle on things, i think i’ll be taking the next two days off for some personal days. i’ll be back on monday, hawks.” the name felt foreign on your lips and his wings twitched in response. you wordlessly spun on your heel and slammed hawks’s office door shut behind you. you could feel the stares from everyone in kei- hawks’s agency watching you, and you briefly shook your head when you saw kazuki before rushing out of the building, straight into the rain that had suddenly started to downpour. because of course it did.
as you walked in the rain to the bus stop, you ignored the frequent buzzing that came from your pocket.
“what else would you be?” echoed through your head, and you couldn’t believe that came from kei- his lips. what happened during his last mission? you shook your head to clear your thoughts.
“just an assistant,” you muttered under your breath. “what the hell, birdie?”
-
it was the middle of the night and you were sitting on your couch, eating from a carton of ice cream as you flipped through the channels on TV. you had finished your second movie of the night when you stumbled across the news. you paused when you saw hawks’s name flash across the bottom of the screen and you wanted to change the channel. but you couldn’t.
“eight hours later, the search and rescue has been completed. over 200 victims were rescued from the destruction thanks to the effort of our number two hero. thank you to pro hero hawks for being the first hero to respond, and the last to leave the tragic scene of the collapsed apartment complex.”
the reporter continued to talk about the injuries and the casualties, and you scanned the screen for him, not seeing a glimpse of red anywhere, save for some discarded feathers on the ground. you pulled out your phone immediately and searched online for something, anything about your- kei- hawks. your messages were full of texts from rumi and kazuki. a few from present mic, even a text from best jeanist’s assistant with a message from the pro.
suddenly, there was a knock on the door and you jumped off the couch. you glanced at the time, a little after midnight. you had hopes for who it was. you also didn’t know what you’d do if it was him. you slowly walked to the front door, willing your heart rate to calm down, and you reached forward to open the door.
you gasped at the sight in front of you, your phone clattering to the floor but you paid it no attention. hawks stood at your door, covered in dirt and dust and… blood? his jacket was gone, pants torn and ripped to barely there shreds of fabric. his flight goggles and headphones were gone, hair caked in dirt and sweat and he looked like he was seconds from falling over. he looked small without his massive wings behind him, most of the feathers left at the scene.
“‘m sorry. i tried, tried to go home. you were closer and,” hawks gestured to himself. “kind of grounded. i’m sorry, i can go.” he swayed a bit. you dove forward as he stumbled, and you held him up as he leaned into you. you kicked the door shut and you repositioned yourself to better support the hero as you walked towards your bathroom. “what are you doin’?” his voice was hoarse, and you made note to grab him water, as well as a million other things once you got him settled.
“first, im gonna clean you up. get some water for you, heat up some leftovers, and get you in clean clothes before i put you in bed.”
“what? no- i. i was horrible. you can’t… you can’t be nice to me. not after everything i said.” hawks said and you shushed him.
“shh, you’re going to wreck your voice more. we’ll talk once you’re taken care of.” you walked into the bathroom and made quick work of setting up a shower. you started to step away to grab towels and you felt a hand grab your arm.
“don’t leave me. please,” he rasped and you turned to face him, your heart aching at the sight in front of you. your keigo.
“not going anywhere. just grabbing towels, yeah?” you walked with him to the hallway, and you grabbed your fluffiest towels. you then grabbed a caddy full of keigo’s favorite toiletries. his shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and oil for his wings. he was missing a lot of feathers, but you’d take care of what was left. he was hurt, your birdie was hurt. it was your turn to be the hero, to make sure he was okay.
when you returned to the bathroom a minute later, keigo’s tired eyes lit up at your return.
“let’s get you in the shower, yeah?“ you set the towels down, put his supplies in the shower, and turned on the shower to his preferred temperature. you then walked to him and placed a gentle hand on his shirt. you glanced up at him and when he nodded, you gently began to peel his uniform off him. you quickly scanned him as you removed more articles of clothing, taking note of any new injuries and were relieved to see relatively little. once keigo had been stripped, you stepped into the shower with him, ignoring the fact you still had your t-shirt and sleep shorts on. your only focus was keigo right now, and you guided him under the shower head.
keigo’s exhaustion had seemed to hit as he leaned against you, and you supported him as you let the water get the top layer of grime off him. “there we go,” you soothed as you shifted, reaching for his shampoo. “there’s my birdie,” a weak chirp left him and you smiled sympathetically. “think you can sit so i can wash your hair?”
wordlessly, keigo moved to kneel down and once he settled, you began to scrub his hair. your hands worked in his hair until they ached, getting everything from the collapsed building from his hair before you added the shampoo. you took your time sudsing up his hair, and you smiled when you brushed some baby feathers in his hairline that caused keigo to coo quietly. keigo pressed a kiss to your stomach as you worked and leaned into your touch, much like a cat being petted. you helped him stand back up once you were ready to wash his body, and keigo practically laid against the wall of the shower as you worked to clean him off efficiently but quickly.
what felt like ages later, you turned the shower off and wrapped keigo up in a towel. you used the other towel to pat your own clothes dry quickly before you started to towel dry his hair.
“why are you… being so nice to me?” keigo asked and you frowned.
“i’m always going to care about you, pretty bird. you were a dick earlier,” you admitted. “but like it or not, you’ve wormed your way into my heart. you deserve to be taken care of, kei. we both know you don’t do it enough for yourself.” you moved to stand behind keigo and you looked at him in the mirror. “is it okay if i touch them?” you glanced at his baby wings and back at him. you held the oil in your hand, letting him see what your intentions were and you panicked when you saw his eyes fill with tears.
-
keigo couldn’t believe it. he had been horrible to you. he had tried to be horrible, he had never planned to come back to you this way. but he did and you? you dumbfounded him with how you treated him. as if you had just had a little spat over him breaking your heart. he could feel your heartbeat change during the conversation you two had in his office, he could practically hear your heart breaking over his words. but when he came to you, bloody and dirty, wings practically gone, and you treated him so tenderly. so… lovingly. when the first tear slid down his cheek, a dam broke. keigo chirped in surprise as you spun him around before he threw himself into your arms. he sobbed as he clung to you, as if you’d vanish into nothingness if he let go.
your arms immediately tightened around him and you used one hand to stroke his wing, the other combed through his hair so gently, sad warbles left his throat. “whatever happened,” you started. “we’ll handle it. me and you, yeah?” keigo tried to respond but couldn’t force any words out, more chirps leaving him as he nodded against your neck. “that’s my songbird.” you held him until his sobs turned into soft cries, and the cries into the occasional sniffle. keigo’s wing twitched as he felt you began to pay more attention to the feathers, and his eyes began to well up with tears again as he realized. you were preening him.
you’ve straightened his feathers out before a handful of times, usually for shoots or press interviews. he’s never had this much attention paid to them before, never in such a caring way at least. his body became lax against you, pleased coos and quiet chirps leaving his throat every now and then.
once you had finished, you led keigo to your room. you walked to the drawer with keigo’s things and he watched as you pulled out clothes for him to sleep in. “gonna change out of my wet clothes real quick, okay?” he nodded and you smiled softly at him before walking to your own side of the dresser. the two of you got dressed in a comfortable silence and you guided him to the living room, where minutes later, you settled onto the couch with dinner. keigo stayed curled into your side and you seemed perfectly content as you stroked his hair.
what felt like an eternity later, keigo was finally able to speak again. “i tried to come home. when i got off that mission. it.. it went horrible and i just wanted you. but i fail- they had told me i failed. i wasn’t as efficient as i should be, one of the villains had managed to escape before i caught him again. if i was a proficient hero, he never would have gotten a chance to get away.” you looked up as keigo spoke, and keigo struggled to maintain eye contact with you. you always seemed to see him, and that was terrifying.
“so i was already beating myself up when they sent me to another disaster, to redeem myself,” he quoted and you scowled at the words. “and i did better, that’s what they told me. and for a minute, i didn’t feel like a failure anymore. i felt worthy of my hero title so i…”
“you stayed busy, worked harder and harder to get rid of that bad feeling.” you finished for him and keigo nodded.
“but no matter what i did, how many patrols i went on, how many hours late i worked, it wasn’t good enough. they said i’m letting personal things get in the way of me being a good hero, that i was a better hero alone.” keigo trailed off and you looked sad, yet angry at the same time.
“they were the reason for our fight.” you said and keigo hummed in response.
“still. i never should have said what i did,” keigo cupped your cheek and you leaned into the touch. “i need you to know. need you to know you’re so much more to me than an assistant. maybe i’m a worse hero for it, but i love you. i love you, so much.” keigo’s voice shook and you scooted closer to him.
“i love you too,” you whispered. you glanced at keigo’s lips then back up at him, golden gaze meeting your own. you leaned in and brushed your lips against his, and keigo let out a soft breath as he kissed you. he had kissed you countless times, but none had ever been this soft. this slow, this.. vulnerable. there was no rush, nothing you were aiming for. just the two of you intertwined, and keigo didn’t break the kiss until he was out of breath, and he smiled at the quiet whine you made. “i think,” you said after a minute. “you need a few days to recover. bed rest, doctor’s orders.”
“you’re a doctor now, hmm?” keigo smiled as he pressed lazy kisses down your jaw and you pulled a blanket over the two of you. “can’t argue with doctor’s orders.”
“bed rest is the first step in treatment. cuddles could speed up the healing process, as well.” you said matter-of-factly as you tangled your legs with his own. keigo closed his eyes as you buried your face into his chest, and as you rubbed his back, keigo’s thoughts became fuzzy.
“careful, will stay here forever.” you nuzzled closer and keigo vaguely remembered your reply before you fell asleep.
“i’d love nothing more.”

Yandere Mha x Reader x Yandere Batfam
A/N: So recently i got into yandere batfam x neglected reader. And i like mha x reader. Soo my fav fic of mha x reader is on quotev " Future Keeper" and my fav batfam x neglected reader is " again & again", my brain just mushed them together like.
Our reader was born and raised in japan (reincarnated from modern world) till she was 9 (instead of 5 ), childhood friends with aizawa. Her parents passed and she find out her father was was not her real father. And she is sent to Gontham to Bruce . (read the fic to get a better understanding, link on the names cuz spoiler. ) There she gets neglected and then decides to transfer to UA high ( here UA is a secrate hero school and on surface its a prestigious high school). She sends a direct letter to Nezu about her "Foresight", and asks to be transfared there. She does get in. Meets Aizawa again. Then meets tenko, adopts him. Meets kai, adopts him. Meets touya, takes him in. And finally Keigo.
But Dick shows up when reader or any adult is not home, tenko opens the door, and Dick speaks in english, Tenko calls Kai (who knows english cuz u taught him, on his request) to speak to the stranger (Dick).
Kai knows him ( due to him being extreemly interested in how you have such good etiquette and wanted to learn, you taught him but also opened up about your past, showed him pics of you "family", and warned him if they come make sure to not give them hope about the reconcile between you and them).
Kai followed you order told the other kids to stay in the room and call the adults (detective tsukachi and night eye) aswell as the reader. He makes it very clear that you are not leaving and Dick's presence is unwanted. The adults arrive before you and try to calm the tension between the two but still agreeing with what Kai said. This pisses Dick off and then tells them that they have no right to decide for you. Kai bites back saying neither does Dick have the right.
Just then reader comes busts trough the door panting and sweaty like she ran the whole way back with Aizawa close behind her, Aizawa goes to check up on the other kids while reader starts walking towards Kai but Dick though she was going towards him and opens his hands expecting a hug, but you pass him and go to Kai and hug him and check if he was injured and then tell him to join his siblings, to which he refuses, Saying you are too kind and he has to be there cuz he knows what it does to you emotionally. And kai stayed
Dick asked you to come back toe which you refused saying that you now have a new family. He tries to persuade you, but was cut off by kai saying "emotional blackmailing won't help since he was there". Then you list everything they ( the bat fam) missed. And then ask if he could tell how many awards you won, you'll give them a chance. Dick didn't know and said a random number but Kai corrected him and along with that he also flexed about how much he knows about you .
You refuse and he is kicked out. You thought it was over but it wasn't. Now you were stuck being messaged by random numbers to reconcile. which are blocked by Aizawa and Kai. Due to Aizawa being worried about you, he proposed to exchange phones since all their contacts were same. to which the reader agreed reluctently.
Now probably they got the hint and would leave you alone....... Or you thought
Three weeks later, bat boys along with Bruce and Alfread show up with all your favorite stuff ( which Dick remembers cuz Kai had spoken about it). Since it was Touya who opened the door, he didn't give them a chance and shut the door in their face saying that they'll make reader have an anxiety attack or something bad, then told them to leave. They didn't and since you were on your way back home, you unfortunately bumped into them. Again it was the sme bushit except Damian who you thought had lost his mind since he kept demanding you come back home, to them, and spoil him with more love than you spoil anyone in your so called family cuz he was your one and only real sibling.
You laughed at their faces, called them pathetic and told them your family is here and so is your home. And continued by saying if they love you even a little bit they would leave you and your real family alone.
Leaving heart broken Wayne family outside. Regreting their choices.
But they promised that they would get you back........... No matter what.
And your Japanese family vowed to protect you from them....
A/N: This was a fucked up idea in my head i just had to write it down. PLEASE CHECH OUT THE 2 AMZING FICS, LINK ON THE NAME OF THE FIC IN THE AUTHORS NOTE!!!

Hawks/Keigo Takami x Reader
Tangled AU
Word Count: 8.3k :0000 crazy!!
Description: When you're locked inside of a tower for your whole life, the thing you wish for the most is freedom. Luckily on your 18th birthday, your tower is intruded by a charismatic man who's able to grant you that wish.
BY THE WAYYYY reader has long hair, ofc, but the color/texture is not described or anything!!
This story starts with the sun.
Once upon a time, a drop of sunlight fell from the sky, causing a magic, golden flower to grow. This flower had the ability to heal the sick and injured.
Centuries later, there was a nearby kingdom that rose and was ruled by a king and queen - who was about to have a baby, but fell ill. Extremely ill.
Since she was running out of time, the people began to look for a miracle, or in other words, the magic golden flower.
But there was an evil woman, one who hoarded the flower for its power. Only using it to keep herself looking youthful for hundreds of years.
Though one day when hiding the flower after using its powers, she made the grave mistake of running away and accidentally knocking over the flower's bush disguise.
This led to the kingdom's guards finding the flower and taking it to the queen to heal her.
Then, a healthy baby girl - a princess was born - with beautiful shiny hair.
To celebrate the baby's birth, the king and queen launched a flying lantern into the sky and so did the rest of the kingdom.
Everything was perfect in that moment, until it ended when the old, evil woman found the baby and attempted to cut off her magic hair, only to find that cutting it took away it's magical power.
Deciding it was the only way to have her flower back, she kidnapped the baby.
The kingdom searched for the princess, but had never found her, not knowing she was deep in the forest, locked away in a hidden tower. The evil woman had continued to raise the princess as her own.

After singing, you let out a sigh as your mother continued to brush your hair. "Mother, why can't I go outside?"
"Because Dear, the outside world is a dangerous place. It's full of cruel and selfish people. You must stay here, where you're safe." She answered.
"Do you understand, Flower?"
You hummed as you looked at the lit fireplace flicker in front of you, "Yes, Mother."
Later that night, you tiptoed down the stairs quietly and were especially careful when passing your mother's room.
Something you'd noticed was that each year on your birthday, there were floating lights that lit up the night sky.
Little did you know, they were from the king and queen, hoping that you - their lost princess - would return.
...
13 years later
"Hmm, I guess Nezu's not hiding out here..." You trailed off, pretending to walk away from where your mouse, Nezu, was hiding.
Hearing him snicker, you used your hair to grab him by his tail and pull him towards you. "Found you!" you exclaimed, causing him to squeak.
Letting him down gently, you continued, "Pretty sure that's twenty two for me. How 'bout twenty three out of forty-five?" you asked, causing him to frown.
Rolling your eyes at his sassiness you sat on the window sill, "Well what would you rather do?"
He smiled and used his tail to point outside towards the grass.
"Yeah, not happening." You said and picked him up. "I like it inside, and so do you!"
Nezu replied by sticking his tongue out at you and blowing a raspberry.
"Hey, it's not so bad here." You tried, "We wake up at 7:00 AM, do some cleaning, read a book or two, or three..."
Standing up from the window sill you held up Nezu to help him see all of your paintings that ran along the walls of the tower, "Sometimes I add a few more paintings to my gallery - if there's room somewhere!"
You continued, "Then I'll brush and brush and brush my hair..."
As you continued speaking, you realized how often you do the same things everyday.
"I wonder when my life will begin..." You thought out loud.
"Anyways - you know tomorrow is my birthday Nezu! That means the lights will be there, like they are every year."
You walked over to the mural of yourself looking out at the night sky filled with the lanterns, "I hope that Mother will let me out this year, now that I'm older."
...
Somewhere in the kingdom, a young man that went by the name of Hawks hopped from rooftop to rooftop, alongside two other men named Tomura Shigaraki and Dabi.
Standing at the top of a particular tower, Hawks looked out at the view and muttered "Wow... I could get used to this."
"Hawks, come on!" Shigaraki said while he and Dabi held open a trap door.
"Hold on... Alright, it's decided. I want a castle." Hawks said smugly.
Dabi gritted his teeth, "If we do this job, then you can buy your own damn castle." He then grabbed Hawks by the back of his vest and yanked him towards the trap door.
The two men tied a rope around Hawks and let him down slowly. As he was reaching out for the satchel, a guard sneezed.
"Hay fever?" He asked calmly, resting his elbow on the pedestal the satchel sat on.
The guard answered, "Yeah... Wait, huh?" When he looked back, Hawks and the satchel were already gone.
Looking up, he and the other guards saw the three men running away.
As they ran away Hawks asked, "Can't you see me with my own castle? I know I definitely can. We've seen so much and it's only 8:00 in the morning!"
He laughed, "This is a very big day, gentleworms." His words causing the other men to frown in irritation.
...
In your tower, you whispered to yourself while putting your painting supplies away. "This is it! This will be the day that I ask her. You hear me, Nezu?"
Immediately after you said that, you heard your mother's voice calling your name from outside the tower.
"Let down your hair!"
"Coming Mother!" You yelled and scrambled towards the window, making a large loop with your hair for your mother to use.
Once she was inside she sighed, "Oh, how you manage to do that every single day without fail! It must be exhausting."
You chuckled, "It's nothing."
She smiled and tapped your nose, "Then I don't know why it takes so long!" She laughed, "Oh I'm just teasing."
You laughed awkwardly but continued speaking, "So Mother, as you know tomorrow is a very big day-"
She cut you off, "Flower, I'm feeling a little run down. Would you sing for me Dear? Then we can talk."
"Oh, of course." You quickly grabbed a chair for her to sit in and a stool for yourself. Placing your hairbrush in her hands and your hair in her lap once she sat down, you began to sing very quickly.
"Flowergleamandglowletyourpowershine." Your hair then began to glow, making your mother look younger.
"MaketheclockreverseBringbackwhatoncewasmine"
"Wait!" Your mother said as you continued singing. "Flower!" She shouted once you stopped.
"So Mother, as I was saying, tomorrow is a big day and you didn't respond so I'm just going to tell you - it's my birthday!" You said and hugged her arm.
Your mother shook her head, "No, it can't be. Your birthday was last year."
"Well, here's the thing about birthdays...they happen every year!" You said with a sigh. Sitting down on the stool you said, "Since I'm turning eighteen I wanted to ask - I've been wanting this really bad for my birthday, actually a few birthdays now-"
"Oh Flower stop with the mumbling! You know how I feel about it, blah blah blah. It's very annoying, oh I'm just kidding you're adorable dear!" She cooed and pinched your cheek, walking away without hearing what you had to say.
You wrung your hands together and looked over at Nezu disappointedly, but he nodded his little head at you for encouragement.
You nodded back at him and faced your mother. "I want to see the floating lights!" You exclaimed.
She stopped walking, "What?"
"I was hoping you could take me to see the floating lights." You explained as you stood on a chair to reveal your painting of the lanterns.
"Oh, you mean the stars."
"No Mother, I've charted stars and they're always constant. But these, they appear every year on my birthday - only on my birthday!"
You looked at the painting longingly, "I just can't help but feel like they're meant for me..."
"I need to see them Mother, not just from my window but in person. I have to know what they are."
Your mother scoffed, "You want to go outside?" Shutting the window, she said "Why Dear, you're as fragile as a flower. You know why I keep you in this tower."
"I know, but-"
"That's right, to keep you safe and sound." She said and hugged your hair as she continued speaking.
"I always knew this day would come, that one day you'd want to leave the nest. Soon, but not yet! Just trust me pet, Mother knows best!"
Suddenly, the tower went dark. As you lit a candle, your mother continued speaking.
"Listen to your mother, it's a scary world out there. There are things like thugs, poison ivy, quicksand! Cannibals and snakes, the plague!"
"No!" You gasped.
"Yes! But also large bugs, men with pointy teeth. Now stop, no more, you'll just upset me!"
In fear of the darkness, you sat in the ground in front of the lit candle and hugged your knees.
"Darling here's what I suggest, skip the drama and stay with Mama! All I have is one request."
A light suddenly came down, shining on your mother who had her arms open for you. You stood up quickly and ran into her arms to hug her.
As she stroked your hair she asked, "Flower?"
"Yes?"
Pulling away and placing her hands on your shoulders, she said sternly, "Don't ever ask to leave this tower again."
You looked down sadly but accepted her words, "Yes, Mother." She sighed and lifted your chin up, "I love you very much."
You smiled, "I love you more."
"I love you most." She placed a kiss on your head, "Now don't forget it or you'll regret it, Mother knows best!"
As she walked away, you felt a pang of sadness hit you. Thought when she asked you to let your hair down again so she could leave, you did so without complaint.
"I'll see you later, Flower!" She yelled as she made her way down the tower.
"I'll be here." You said quietly, watching as she was able to walk outside of the tower freely.
...
Hawks and the two men continued running through the forest. When Hawks stopped against a tree to catch his breath, he looked up to see a wanted poster with his face and alias on it. Below that were posters with Dabi and Shigaraki's faces.
Ripping the poster of the tree he cried, "Oh, no. This is bad, very very bad." He turned the poster towards his partners, "They never get my eyebrows right!"
"Who gives a crap?" Dabi rasped.
"That's easy for you to say, you guys look great. Dabi, they even got your staples!"
Startled by the sound of a horse neighing, they continued running but ran into a dead end. Turning around, Hawks said "Okay, give me a boost and then I'll pull you two up."
The men looked at each other, then Shigaraki said, "Give us the satchel first."
Acting surprised, Hawks spoke sadly, "Wow, you don't trust me? Even after all we've been through?"
They looked at him with deadpanned faces.
"Ouch." He said but handed them the satchel and used them for a boost up.
Once he was at the top of the wall, Dabi held out a hand. "Now help us up, pretty boy."
Hawks smirked, "Sorry, but my hands are full." And held up the satchel he managed to get back.
He ran away as fast as he could, leaving Shigaraki and Dabi behind. He could hear them yell his name angrily, but he continued on anyways. As he ran, the guards were close on his tail.
Dodging their arrows, he gasped in shock and kept on running. He didn't know where he was going, but anywhere was better than a jail cell.
At one point, only one guard and his horse were behind him. As they chased him he grabbed onto a vine and swung himself around a large tree and behind the guard, kicking him off of the horse.
Hawks himself ended up landing on the horse after letting go of the vine, but the horse immediately stopped running and snorted at him.
"Come on, forward!" He shouted and kicked the side of the horse. The horse didn't listen, but the satchel in Hawks' hand caught his attention and he attempted to take it back with his teeth but failed.
"No! No, stop it." Hawks said, but the horse continued to try and bite the satchel, causing them to jump around. Eventually they ended up playing tug of war, but when the satchel was released from both of them it went flying and landed on a branch of a tree that was leaning over a cliff.
The horse and man glanced at each other before hastily moving to get the satchel back. Hawks had climbed down the tree and grabbed the satchel successfully while the horse stood on the trunk of it.
"Ahah!" He said, but his victory was ruined by the sound of cracking. Suddenly, the tree broke off from the cliff and he and the horse were sent downwards into another forest.
When Hawks landed, he hid behind a large rock to avoid the horse that was sniffing for him. Once the horse left, he leaned against a wall of vines but almost fell through it.
Hearing the horse's neigh, he quickly pulled back the vines and hid inside of the little cave it was covering.
He made his way through the small cave and ended up in a large, open area with a tall tower and a waterfall behind it.
Out of desperation, he made his way towards the tower and climbed up it by using arrows. Climbing inside quickly, he shut the window and panted. Grabbing the satchel, he opened it and sighed "Alone at last."
CLANG
You squealed and ran away after hitting the intruder with a frying pan. Hiding behind a mannequin, you peeked over it and looked at his unconscious form. Keeping the mannequin in front of you, you rolled it over slowly and made your way towards him.
Carefully, you used the frying pan to poke his head and move it over so you could see his face. His wild hair still covered his eyes, but you looked over at Nezu for help. He used his little hands to mimic fangs, reminding you about what Mother said.
You used the handle to lift his lip up, peeking at his teeth. "Oh..." You said when you realized his teeth were dull, just like yours.
Continuing to use the handle, you moved his hair out of his face and gasped softly at how handsome he was.
His blonde hair was messy, and he had bushy untamed eyebrows that matched. There was light stubble on his chin and he wore a striking red vest over his white button up, which was paired with khakis and black boots.
While you were admiring the stranger, his eye suddenly opened. Startled, you gasped and whacked him on the head again.
SInce he was unconscious you took it as an opportunity to tie him up with your hair and lock him away in your wardrobe. He was heavy and you couldn't figure out how to get him inside, so you dragged and threw his body around until it eventually made it inside.
Blocking the doors off with a chair, you said "Okay, okay. There's a person in my closet."
Looking at yourself in the mirror you laughed, "I've got a person in my closet!"
You pretended to dust off your shoulders and swung the frying pan around, "And Mother says I'm too weak, tell that to my frying pan-Ow!" You hissed, rubbing at the spot that your frying pan hit.
Then, something shining in the mirror caught your eye. It was coming from the satchel so you looked inside and pulled out a crown.
Looking at it in awe, you wondered what it was. Placing your arm through it didn't feel right, so you looked in the mirror and placed it on your head.
Now that felt right.
Your moment was ruined however, by your mother's voice calling for you to let down your hair. Quickly taking the crown off and hiding it in a pot, you went to fetch your mother who said she had a surprise for you.
"I do too, Mother!"
"I bet my surprise is bigger!"
You looked at the closet and whispered, "I seriously doubt it."
When your Mother was inside she told you she got parsnips and planned on making hazelnut soup for dinner.
"Well Mother, there's something I want to tell you."
"Oh dear, you know I hate leaving after a fight. Especially when I've done nothing wrong!"
Ignoring her words you continued on, "I've been thinking about what you said earlier-"
"You better not be talking about the stars."
"Floating lights." You corrected, "And yes, I'm getting to that-"
"I really thought we dropped this, Flower."
"No, Mother." You walked over to the closet, ready to prove yourself to your mother. "I'm just saying, you think I'm not strong enough to handle myself out there."
"Oh Darling, I know you're not strong enough.
"But if you just-"
"Flower, we're done talking about this."
"Trust me!"
"Flower."
"I know what I'm-"
"Flower!"
"Oh, come on!"
"Enough with the lights!" Your Mother yelled, "You are not leaving this tower! Ever!"
You flinched at the volume of her voice and slowly moved away from the closet, taking your hand off of the chair that was blocking it.
Your Mother sighed, "Ugh, great. Now I'm the bad guy."
You frowned and looked up at your painting of the lanterns. Getting an idea, you said "All I was going to say is that I know what I want for my birthday now."
"And what is that?"
"New paint." You said softly, "The paint from the white shells you once brought me."
"That is a very long trip, Dear. Almost three days' time!"
"I just thought it was a better idea than the...stars."
Your mother sighed and stood up to walk over to you. "Will you be alright on your own?"
Hugging her, you said "I know I'm safe as long as I'm here."
Later that evening, you packed a basket for her and sent her off, telling her you love her.
Once she was gone, you grabbed your frying pan again and moved the chair away from the closet and let the man fall out onto his face.
You tied him onto the chair with your hair and Nezu woke him up by biting the man's ear.
Hawks woke up with a shout, knocking the mouse off of his shoulder. He looked around confused and down at his hands, trying to move. Surprised at what was wrapped around him, he asked out loud, "Is this hair?"
From the corner you pointed the pan towards him and spoke shakily, "There's no point in struggling! I know why you're here and I'm not afraid of you."
"What?"
Keeping your guard up, you slowly walked towards him and revealed yourself. "Who are you? And how did you find me?"
"Ahhuh." He stammered.
You repeated yourself, but he just stared at you and cleared his throat. "I know not who you are, nor how I came to find you, but may I just say...hi." He smiled, very strangely.
You looked at him confused as he continued speaking.
"How are ya? You can call me Hawks. How's your day goin'? Hm?"
You grunted and brought the pan closer to his face, "Who else knows my location, Hawks?"
"Alright, I was strolling through the forest when - oh no. Where's my satchel?"
You crossed your arms, "I've hidden it somewhere you'll never find it."
He deadpanned, "It's in the pot over there huh?"
CLANG
Waking up in the same position a moment later again, he groaned.
"Now it's in a place you'll never find it!" You said.
As you continued interrogating him, you learned that he had no knowledge of your hair or its powers.
After a little talk with Nezu, you decided to offer the man you now know as Hawks, a deal.
Showing him your lantern painting you asked, "Do you know what these are?"
"You mean the lantern thing for the princess?" He asked.
"I knew they weren't stars!" You gasped, "Anyways, tomorrow evening they will light the night sky with these lanterns. I need you to act as my guide and take me to see these lanterns, then return me home safely. After that, I will return your satchel."
"Uh yeah, no can do. Unfortunately the kingdom isn't very fond of me so I can't take you anywhere."
Scowling, you pulled him towards you with your hair and spoke. "Something brought you here, Hawks, and now I'm deciding to trust you-"
"Horrible decision, really."
"But trust me when I say this, you cant tear this tower apart but you will never find your precious satchel without my help."
"So basically, I take you to see the lanterns, bring you back home, and you'll give me back my satchel?"
"Yup."
"I didn't want to have to do this but you leave me no choice... Here's the smolder."
Suddenly he was looking at you with a strange expression, one that made him look constipated.
Seeing that you had no reaction, he said "This is an off day for me, this doesn't normally happen. Fine! I'll take you to see the lanterns."
You smiled.
...
When finally leaving your tower, you used your hair to get down but right before you touched the ground you stopped and gasped.
Slowly letting your foot down onto the grass, you laughed at the cold and prickly feeling. Already feeling a sense of freedom, you ran out of the hidden area and all around the forest with Hawks and relished every moment of it that you could.
Though the whole time you were conflicted. There were moments you were so happy you left, but others where you regretted it and felt like a horrible daughter.
Hawks was with you through all of your mood swings, as part of the deal of course. But during one moment where you were crying, he sat down next to you and gave you his best words of advice.
"You seem a bit at war with yourself, but this is apart of growing up, y'know? A little rebellion, adventure, that's good."
"You think?"
"I know. You're overthinking this, trust me! It's time for you to spread your wings and fly."
His words made you feel a little better but you still felt disappointed in yourself. Pushing your negative emotions aside, you stood up and tried to focus on the positives.
There was a sudden rustling noise coming from the bushed and you wrapped your arms around Hawks, scared of what was coming.
Then, a little bunny came out of the bush.
"Careful, it can probably smell fear."
You laughed sheepishly, "Sorry, I thought it'd be a thug or something."
"Yeah...it's best we avoid those." Hawks thought, "Hey, you hungry? I know a great place for lunch!"
Deciding that you were a bit hungry, you followed his lead.
...
"It should be around here - ah! There it is, The Snuggly Duckling." Hawks said as he led you down a dirt path in the forest.
"The Snuggly Duckling?" You asked.
"Yep, great place. Don't worry, it's a good place. Perfect for you!"
When Hawks opened the door, the inside was a much different atmosphere than what you thought. Scary men sat at every table, staring you down.
You gasped and held out your frying pan in fear.
"Hey, you're lookin' a little green there." Hawks said, "Y'know maybe we should just get you back home-"
Suddenly a big, burly man shut the door and held up a wanted poster with Hawks' face on it. "Is this you?"
Before he could answer, another man with a mechanical arm spoke up. "Oh, it's him alright!"
He then told another man to go find some guards, causing a bunch of other men to drag Hawks around talking about how much money they should get from the prize.
You felt yourself begin to panic, was this really happening? Were you not going to see the lanterns you dreamed of seeing?
Determined to make your dream come true, you yelled out "Everyone shut up!" which caused the men to stop what they were doing and face you.
"Okay, I don't know where I'm going and I need him to take me to see the lanterns! It's been my dream to see them my entire life, haven't any of you ever had a dream?"
Suddenly the same man who told another to call the guards walked up to you and said "I have a dream..."
He then went on to explain his dream of becoming a magician to you and so did many other of the men. One of the men had said his dream was to have a love connection, which you thought was sweet.
Though the moment was ruined when a man busted through the door with guards behind him.
"Where is he? Where's Hawks?!"
Hawks quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you with him to hide behind the bar. Luckily, the man with a mechanical arm tapped Hawks' shoulder and eyed a lever with a duck on it. Taking the hint, Hawks pulled the lever down to reveal an underground tunnel.
The man winked, "Go, live your dreams!" and snapped his fingers to reveal a small, blue marble.
You both smiled at him and made your way into the tunnel, running as fast as you can.
A little ways in, you heard a heard of footsteps behind you and began to run even faster while holding all of your hair.
At the end of the tunnel you found yourself at the edge of a cliff with all of Hawks' enemies surrounding you. You threw him your frying pan and used your hair as a swing to get to the other cliff, leaving him alone with his enemies and your frying pan.
From the other side you watched as he dodged the guards swords and use the frying pan to do so. But the pan was knocked out of his hands (by a horse of all people), leaving him defenseless.
You threw your hair at him like a lasso and wrapped it around his hand.
"Hawks! Look out!" You said as he swung down with your hair.
Once he made it to the other side safely, the horse knocked down a tall wooden pillar to use as a walking beam to get to you. Doing this caused a leak in the dam, which made it slowly fall apart and cause a huge wave of water to come down.
You quickly swung to Hawks and began running away from the water. There was a small cave that you both ran into, barely making it inside after a large rock covered the opening.
The water began to seep through the cracks of the rock and the cave filled up with water.
"This is all my fault." You whimpered. "Mother was right... I never should've done this. I'm so sorry Hawks."
"Keigo."
You sniffled, "What?"
"Keigo Takami, that's my real name." He said quietly. "I guess someone might as well know."
You chuckled, "Well I have magic hair that glows when I sing."
"What?" He sputtered.
Getting an idea, you repeated yourself and began to sing quickly before the water filled up the cave. Now underwater, you could see everything with the light coming from your hair.
Keigo looked stunned, but kept his focus and began clearing the small rocks out of the exit that your hair led to.
Now out of the cave, the two of you climbed out of the water and onto land where you caught your breaths.
"We made it." You sighed.
"Your hair glows... Why does your hair glow?!"
"Keigo!" You yelled.
"What?!"
"It doesn't just glow."
Nezu looked up at Keigo and smiled with a nod.
"Why is he smiling at me?"
Later that night, you and Keigo sat together on a log in front of a campfire as you wrapped your hair around his hand that had gotten cut earlier.
Keigo laughed nervously, "You're being weirdly quiet about your magic hair."
You hummed, "Just don't freak out, okay?"
Before he could reply, you began to sing softly, causing your hair to glow once again.
He watched in awe as it shined brightly, listening to your voice sing so beautifully.
When the hair covering his hand began to glow, he could feel a difference in his hand.
When you finished singing, he unwrapped your hair from his hand and looked at his hand, trying to form a sentence.
"I told you not to freak out!"
"I'm not!" He defended, "I'm just, wondering about your magic hair! How long has it been doing that?"
"Um, forever I guess?" You shrugged. "Mother says people tried to cut my hair when I was a baby, they wanted the power for themselves."
Moving your hair behind your ear, you revealed a short, dull piece of hair. "But once it's cut, it loses its shine and power. So, it has to be protected. That's why nobody can know about me, and that's why I..."
"That's why you never left that tower." Hawks finished for you, "You're still gonna go back?"
You groaned and put your head in your hands, "I don't know... It's complicated."
After a moment, you sighed. "So, Keigo Takami?"
He laughed nervously, "Eh, it's not a big deal. I'll spare you the details of the sob story that is my life."
You gave him a look.
"Well alright." He shrugged, "When I was a kid there was this book about the best heroes, and one of them was named Endeavor."
"I loved that guy, he made me want to become a hero too. So, I started calling myself Hawks." He laughed, "I was convinced it'd make me the fastest man out there, and it did, in a way..." He said, thinking about his thievery.
"Dont tell anyone about this though, okay?"
You nodded and pretended to zip your lips shut, "Locked and in my pocket."
He smiled softly and stood up, "Well, I'm gonna go get more firewood."
As he was walking away you spoke up, "Y'know, I think I like Keigo Takami better than Hawks."
He smiled, "Thanks, you'd be the first."
You smiled back.
"Finally, I thought he'd never leave!"
You turned around, startled, "Mother?"
"How did you find me?" You asked as she hugged you.
"It was easy, I just followed the scent of complete betrayal." She said, making you cringe. "Now let's go home, dear."
"Mother please, I-I've been on this great journey and I've seen so much! I even met someone."
"Yes, the wanted thief! Now come on."
"Wait! Mother, I think he likes me..."
"Flower, this is why you should've never left. Why would he like you? You big dummy. Now come with mommy-"
"No." You said, finally standing up for yourself.
"No? Well, I guess you know best now huh? If he starts lying and hurting you, don't come crying because I won't say I told you so." She said, frowning heavily as she tossed you the satchel and made her way out of the forest, leaving you alone.
You watched as she walked away, wondering if you made the right choice as you looked at the crown inside of the satchel.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Keigo called, "You think I'll get super strength in my hand or something? 'Cause that would be awesome!" He said as he held firewood.
When he noticed your silence he asked, "You okay?"
You turned around after hiding away the satchel, "Oh yeah, just lost in thought."
As Keigo blabbered on about something, you looked in the direction of the satchel and thought to yourself, would he really lie to you?
...
The next morning you woke up to Keigo screaming while being dragged by a horse.
You ran over to him and grabbed onto his hands to pull him away, "Give me him!"
Finally yanking him back, you walked over to the horse. "Sit! Sit down, aww there you go! Good horse!"
Grabbing Keigo by the hand, you brought him to the horse (who you learned was named Maximus), "Now you two can be friends!" You said, making Maximus grunt and turn away.
"Aw come on, please? It's my birthday today!" You pleaded, making Maximus give in and shake Keigo's hand.
...
Walking into the kingdom felt magical, since everything and everyone was new to you! There were so many different people around and they all fascinated you.
Thought while walking around you found your hair to be annoying, so Keigo helped you carry it and found some little girls to help braid it all for you, which they did beautifully and added flowers into your hair.
"Keigo, this is so much fun! Thank you for being my guide." You said while dancing with him, making him smile at you.
"It's no problem, I'm glad you're having fun."
Later when the sunset, you both made your way to the docks and got on a small boat. Keigo had also thrown Maximus a bag of apples to snack on while he waited, which the horse appreciated.
As Keigo rowed the boat, you were looking down at the water when you saw the reflection of a lantern.
You gasped and scrambled to stand in the boat, rocking it side to side, and looked up at the sky to see the floating lanterns you'd always dreamed of.
Hearing a noise behind you, you turned around and saw Keigo holding two lanterns.
"I figured you'd want to light your own." He said sheepishly.
You smiled and sat down next to him, "Keigo... Thank you. Aren't the lights so beautiful? I knew they would be."
He nodded while looking at you, "Yeah, really beautiful."
"Oh! I have something for you too." You said and reached down to grab the satchel. "I was gonna give it to you sooner, but I was scared... But I'm not scared anymore! You get me?"
He pushed the satchel down lightly, "I'm starting to."
You smiled at each other, each of you taking a lantern and pushing it into the sky, watching as they danced around each other.
Looking over, you saw a lantern floating towards you so you leaned over the boat and pushed it up slightly.
Keigo admired you as you enjoyed the lanterns, happy he could contribute to the large smile on your face.
Gaining confidence, he leaned over and held your hand softly. Your face flushed slightly, and you took both of his hands in yours.
"Keigo, thank you so much for bringing me here." You said sincerely, making him smile bashfully.
"It's nothing, I'm just glad you're enjoying yourself."
You giggled at his smile and continued, "You've also helped me see the world in a different light, so thank you for that too."
Your words stunned him, and he didn't know what to say. But in that moment everything felt right, and it also felt like the right time to kiss you.
Beginning to lean in slowly, he held your face softly, making you realize what he was doing.
Your heart raced as you leaned in closer, thought right when your lips brushed against each other, Keigo pulled away.
He was looking behind you nervously, making you turn around and ask, "Is everything okay?"
"Uh, yeah." He chuckled nervously as he began to row the boat, "I just uh, have to go check on something."
You frowned but accepted his words silently, allowing him to row the boat back to shore.
When he got out of the boat he grabbed the satchel and turned to you. "I'm sorry, everything is fine I swear. There's just something I have to take care of."
You stayed silent and nodded, not looking him in the eyes.
He placed a hand on your shoulder, "I'll be right back." and left, leaving you alone.
You watched as he walked away, Nezu on your shoulder trying to comfort you. "I'll be alright." You said patting him.
...
As Keigo walked through the forest, he found Dabi and Shigaraki waiting for him.
"Hey! I've been looking everywhere for you guys." He said nervously.
"Uh, anyways - just wanted to say I shouldn't have dipped out on you guys - the crown is yours." He said and tossed the satchel with the crown inside over to their feet.
Just as he turned away, he bumped into Dabi who was frowning down at him.
"Holding out on us again, Hawks?" Shigaraki asked.
"What?"
Shigaraki stood up and walked over to Keigo, "We heard you found something better. We want her instead." He said, making Keigo panic inside.
...
After a while of waiting at the boat, you saw a figure in the distance and assumed it was Keigo.
"There you are! I was started to think you ran off with the crown and left me." You said laughing lightly.
Suddenly the figure split into two and two men were approaching you instead of Keigo. One of them had a lean build with long light blue, wavy hair. The other man was a bit taller and muscular, and wore tattered clothes. His hair was black and spiky, but his most striking features were the dark purple scars that littered his face and body, attached to regular skin with staples.
"Looks like he did leave you." The scarred one said.
"What?" You asked, confused. "No... He wouldn't."
The thinner one pointed out to the water where a large boat was, "See for yourself."
Looking out into the water you saw Keigo's figure on the boat, making you gasp.
Catching you off guard, the two men began to corner you but you ran away quickly, causing them to run after you.
As you were running, your hair got caught in a branch.
"No, no!" You cried, trying to pull your hair out.
Suddenly you heard your mother's voice calling your name, along with the sound of two men groaning in pain.
"Mother?" You whispered.
"Oh! There you are." She said, "Are you alright? I was so worried about you, Dear."
As you tried to form a sentence, your mother ushered you to follow her back home though you couldn't bring yourself to move.
You looked out onto the water where Keigo was, tears filling up your eyes. You had never felt so betrayed in your life. Maybe you should have listened to your mother. She was right, she always was. Keigo lied to and used you.
Turning to your mother, she saw the look on your face and held her arms out to you. You cried and ran into her arms to hug her tightly. "You were right." You cried, "About everything."
She hushed you, "I know Flower, now let's go home."
...
What felt like hours later, Keigo finally woke up and found himself tied to the wheel of a boat. He looked around anxiously, calling out your name.
"We found him!" A guard called out, hopping onto the boat. A group of guards untied him and led him off of the boat, making sure to handcuff him before taking him to his cell.
...
It was the next day and you were back at your tower. You sat silently on your bed as your mother plucked all of the flowers out of your hair.
"There, that's all of them." She said happily and threw out the flowers.
As she walked out of your bedroom, she turned to you and saw the look on your face and sighed. "I really did try to warn you, but you didn't listen."
"The world is a dark, cruel place. It destroys every ray of sunshine." She said sternly and shut the curtains behind her.
Once she was gone, you uncurled your hands to reveal a small purple cloth from the kingdom with the sun on it.
You sighed and lied on your back, looking up at your ceiling. Squinting your eyes, you noticed the sun on your ceiling, and looked back at the cloth, recognizing the resemblance between the two.
Gasping, you stood up and looked all around to see more suns you had subconsciously painted. Stumbling backwards, you realized it was you the entire time!
You were the lost princess.
...
In the kingdom, Keigo was being led to his death.
As he walked past other cells and prisoners, he saw Shigaraki and Dabi in their cell.
He felt himself grow angry by just seeing their faces, he shoved the guards down to knock them out.
He moved his hands from behind his back to the front and grabbed onto Shigaraki's shirt, pulling him towards him.
"How the hell did you find out about her?!" He yelled, "Tell me!"
Shigaraki stuttered, "It wasn't us! It-It was the old lady."
"Old lady?" Keigo mumbled before the guards got up and grabbed him once again.
"Wait, stop! You don't understand, she's in trouble!"
...
Back at your tower, you confronted your mother.
"I'm the lost princess..." You said quietly.
"What? Speak up Dear, you know I hate-"
"I'm the lost princess!" You said, "Did I mumble, Mother? Or should I even be calling you that?"
Your mother stood silently before replying, "Oh do you even hear yourself? Why would you say such ridiculous things!" She said walking towards you, but you pushed her away.
"It was you! You kidnapped me!"
She looked down at you, "I did it to protect you!"
"I spent my whole life locked away, hiding from people who would use me for my power when I should've been hiding from you!" You yelled as you stormed downstairs.
"Where will you go, hm? He won't be there for you. That criminal is to be hanged for his crimes." She said, making your breath hitch.
"But just listen to me. All of this is how it should be." She continued, ready to place a hand on your head before you grabbed her wrist and stopped her.
"No! You were wrong about the world - about me! I will never let you use my hair again!" You exclaimed, pushing her arm down and away from you, knocking her back into the mirror.
She frowned heavily, "You want me to be the bad guy? Then I will be the bad guy."
...
As the guards got to the door that led to Keigo's demise, the little peep hole slide open, revealing an old man. "What's the password?" He slurred, catching the guards by surprise when a bunch of the men from The Snuggly Ducking came barreling in.
The men and guards fought, giving Keigo an escape. There was even one man using a frying man, which made him laugh.
The men helped him out of the cuffs and led him outside where a hoard of guards were waiting for them.
The man with a mechanical arm stood next to Keigo, instructing him on how to stand."
"Okay, now knees apart!" He said.
"Knees apart." Keigo repeated, "Wait, knees apart-"
Suddenly a large man jumped down and onto the back of the wagon Keigo stood on, launching him high into the air.
He cringed as he flew down, not expecting to land on the back of Maximus.
"Hey! You brought the guys here?" Keigo asked Maximus, and the horse answered with a smug look.
"Thank you." Keigo said sincerely, "Now let's go!"
Maximus began galloping, running past the guards and jumped onto a roof, sliding down and landed onto a pathway within the kingdom.
"Woo hoo!" Keigo yelled as he and Maximus made their way to your tower.
When he got there, he called out your name, begging you to let down your hair.
It wasn't until a few seconds later that your hair fell down the side of the tower, lifting him up inside.
"Oh my, I never thought I'd see you again!" He cried as he stepped inside, gasping when he saw you tied up and your mouth taped shut.
Catching him off guard, your 'mother' used her dagger and stabbed him in the abdomen, causing him to fall onto his knees in pain.
All you could do was watch and cry out as you saw him groan in pain, blood staining his shirt and vest.
"Now look what you've done." She said. "But don't worry, our secret will die with him." Stepping over him, she walked towards you and unhooked your chain from the wall, yanking you towards her.
"As for us, you're going somewhere no one will ever find you!"
You yelled as loud as you could with your mouth taped shut, trying to crawl away from her grasp.
"Stop fighting me!" She yelled.
You were able to wiggle the tape down to your chin, finally allowing yourself to talk. "No! I'm not stopping! I will never stop trying to get away from you!" You panted while falling onto the floor and landing on your bottom.
"If you let me save him, I will go with you." You said, making Keigo groan.
"No, you can't do that."
You ignored his words and continued, "I'll never run, I'll never try to escape. Just let me heal him and you and I will be together, forever, just like you want!"
After convincing your 'mother' to let you heal Keigo, she put the chain that was previously on you, onto him. "Just incase you get any ideas about fallowing us." She said through gritted teeth, walking away.
You ran over to him and kneeled beside him, "Keigo!"
He coughed and groaned in pain, clutching his stomach where the wound was.
You removed his hand slowly, repeating reassuring words as you began to wrap your hair around him but he pushed your hands away.
"No, stop. I can't let you do this." He groaned out.
"But I can't let you die." You said softly, placing a hand on his cheek.
"But if I let you do this, then you die." He whispered with watery eyes.
Before you could respond, he said your name weakly and stroked your cheek with one hand, slowly bring it to your hair and gathering it all in his hand.
With the other hand, he held a shard of glass and sliced through your hair with all his remaining strength.
Gasping, you turned and watched as the rest of your hair turned dull and lost its shine.
Your 'mother' cried out in despair, holding onto your dead hair for dear life, yelling as she lost her youthfulness and grew old.
"No! What have you done?!" She screamed, running towards the shattered mirror to observe her reflection.
She cried in disbelief, pulling her hood over her head to hide her looks. As she stumbled around the room, she tripped over her own feet and tumbled out of the window backwards, falling to her death.
Disregarding that horrid woman's death, you turned to Keigo, who was struggling to stay awake.
You scrambled towards him and grabbed one of his hands to place on top of your head, "No, no Keigo stay with me!"
You desperately sang, trying to use your hair to heal him but nothing worked. You began to cry, growing angry that he had cut off the only thing that could heal him.
He grabbed your face weakly, cutting you off, and said softly, "I didn't get to tell you this before, but you were my new dream."
You smiled softly and held his hand, "And you were mine."
Watching as he took his last breath, you leaned against his body and sang once more.
"Heal what has been hurt. Change the fate's design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine."
"What once was mine..." You whimpered, letting your head fall against his and the tears roll down your face.
Though a lone tear managed to find its way onto his cheek, causing it to shine brightly. You sat up and watched as the light grew and beamed throughout the room. Wisps of light formed a flower, which gleamed beautifully.
When it all went away, you heard Keigo breathe from underneath you and call your name.
"Keigo!" You cried happily.
He chuckled. "Did I ever tell you I have a thing for girls with short hair?" He joked, making you gasp and throw your arms around him. He laughed loudly and wrapped an arm around your waist, holding you closely.
When you pulled away, you glanced at him for a second before pulling him towards you and finally placing a kiss on his lips.
...
Back in the kingdom, you and Keigo announced to the guards that you were the lost princess.
One of them alerted the king and queen of your presence and they ran to go see where you were waiting.
As you stood outside with Keigo nervously, the doors behind you suddenly opened and revealed your true parents.
Your mother slowly walked towards you, reaching a hand out slowly and placing a hand on your cheek in disbelief.
She then smiled softly at you, making you smile back. Taking that as an okay, she brought you into a tight hug. From over her shoulder, you made eye contact with your father who was crying, and allowed him to hug you as well.
Even though you hadn't been here in eighteen years, you knew that this is where you belonged.
This was your true home, and you were happy to live a happily ever after with Keigo.
Keigo was happy too. Happy to be the one to finally bring the lost princess home and marry her, living his happily ever after as well.

:Various! Yandere! My Hero Academia x Female! Civilian! Reader
In your words, you are a normal woman. You have an average job and a quirk that's nothing special. You have a husband, a well villain husband, and a son both who you love with all your heart. Life is great for you so far, and you wouldn't do anything to change that. That is until people start to pop out of nowhere and take a liking to your kindness. You thought it was just meaningless admirations, oh how terribly wrong you were.
Yandere List (you are here), Information, Prologue
Love Interests/Yanderes:
☆: platonic
♡: romantic
danger level: how much of a threat they pose to their darling or the people close to their darling. there are five stages.
1/5: harmless. These yanderes will not cause any type of harm to their darling or the people around their darling. They are slightly overprotective but not suffocating. They would leave their darling alone if it made them happier.
2/5: These yanderes, although relatively harmless, use blackmail or threats to anyone who is close to their darling. They will not cause any harm to their darling. They only allow relationships with their darling if they approve of said person. They might even share their darling with someone else.
3/5: Yanderes under this category are violent to anyone their darling cares about. While the others above don't actually draw out the threats they declare, this type does. Anyone who interacts with their darling is most of the time killed or injured. These types of yanderes will hurt their darling, although they will feel guilty and apologize.
4/5: Intense. Yanderes here are obsessive and possessive of their darling and have to know everything about them. They don't bother hiding their tendencies from their darling and even show their violent side. They will hurt their darling, maybe for their safety or even amusement. They might mock their darling or let them get hurt.
5/5: Extremely intense. Yanderes in this category will kill everyone their darling is close/cares about and have no mercy at all. They will lock their darling away from society so they will only have the privilege of enjoying their company. They might hurt their darling for punishment, fun, or boredom. These yanderes would rather kill their darling then let them leave.

Heroes With An S/O W/ Powers Like Hawkwoman
Keigo Takami X Fem!Reader, Toshinori Yagi X Fem!Reader, Shota Aizawa X Fem!Reader
Requested: Anon
Request: Hello everything is fine? I saw that requests are open! I would like to know if you can write headcanons for bnha (hawks, all might and aizawa) with a s/o who is a professional heroine and is like hawkwoman from dc? (she has super strength, speed because of her wings, resistance, etc.)
Keigo Takami
🪶 Alright let’s be honest there is going to be a lot of bird behaviour from this individual, lucky you're both derived from hawks so you understand each others behaviours pretty well. 🪶 Keigo is forever puffing up his feathers when you first met, making himself look bigger and more suitable, it did catch your attention by nature. 🪶 Miriko made fun of him every time. 🪶 Hawks by nature mate for life, so when he decided that he was in, he was 100% in, there was nothing that could change his mind. 🪶 He’d spend a lot of time measuring wings and wrapping his wings around you, you’d do the same to him and sometimes you’d make a cocoon just for the two of you by having your wings meet in the middle. 🪶 He sings all the time, another bird thing but if you ever sing along with him, it will make him the happiest person in the world. 🪶 You guys go for flights all the time, he’d dive low to grab you anything that caught his or your eye. 🪶 You guys were two of the fastest heroes, you learned to work together covering whatever the other couldn’t and that became even more needed after his fight with Dabi. 🪶 You massaged his shoulders when he was healing, you helped him to get back up but he never stopped missing his wings. 🪶 You refused to fly without him and you were the one that helped him to relearn how to fly when he got his prosthetics. 🪶 You both have heightened senses so he’d often give you his shirts or blankets so that you would always feel him near (even if he was rarely more than 2 steps away). 🪶 You were a hero couple that was feared by villains and loved by civilians but neither of you cared about that. The only thing that was important is how much you loved each other.
Yagi Toshinori
🦸 The moment that Toshinori saw you he was enamoured, honestly he’d have seen your wings and the speed and strength that you displayed. 🦸 Challenged you to races all the time, he wanted to be the fastest but he had to admit that you had him in that department. 🦸 Toshi was playful and he had yet to be able to sneak up on you either so he tried that too, but given your enhanced senses, you could hear and smell him coming when you couldn’t see the flashy costume. 🦸 When you guys actually started dating it was a secret to no one, it was lucky that you were as good at defending yourself as you were because there were just as many villains as fans trying to get your attention. 🦸 Toshi came very close to ending the relationship when a villain came after you to get to him, you had to tell him that you weren’t having it and literally slapped him round the back of his head to get him to listen. 🦸 Toshi would literally carry you anywhere the extra weight from your wings didn’t bother him at all but he did love being wrapped in them when you both had the time. 🦸 Gran Torino would sometimes enlist you to get Toshinori to do something because you both knew that it was better for him. 🦸 You were the only one that could get him to sit still after he was injured by One For All. 🦸 Toshi spent all of this time bringing you presents, anything that you could ever want, even things you didn’t know you wanted like kids (Midorya and Bakugo). 🦸 Now with his smaller stature he loved your wings even more, he hid in them when he didn’t want to be seen, made sure that they were groomed and taken care of. 🦸 Toshi made sure that you always laid on top of him, even after he was injured (much to your protest) because he would not have you lay on your wings no matter how many times you tell him that you can support your own weight. 🦸 Definition of a celebrity couple, you guys were what everyone strived to be, happy together, playful, easy and completely dedicated to each other.
Shota Aizawa
🐛 Shota was probably the last person that anyone expected you to take an interest in but after one mission he couldn’t seem to get rid of you and to be honest he didn’t mind having you around. 🐛 You were the one that did most of the work, just trying to get him to look at you for more than a second but once he really looked he was a goner. 🐛 You used your wings to shield him from the sunlight while he was sleeping during the day or the cold in the winter. 🐛 Shota is a mindful human and often found himself dancing around you in the first few months of your relationship, making sure not to touch your wings and apologising when he did, it took a long while to convince him that it was okay. 🐛 The first time that you asked him to help with grooming your wings, you thought he was going to faint. 🐛 He teaches you how to use a capture weapons and you taught him how to use your weapons. He took to yours faster than you took to his. He's unbelievably adaptable but he admired the strength and agility that came with your power. 🐛 You were well into your relationship by the time that 1-A came along, so a lot of them knew of you but they didn’t know that you were dating/married to their teacher until the first villain attack when you made yourself known. 🐛 Neither of you had ever talked about having children but you ended up with 20 the day that you saved them. 🐛 You moved into the dorms with Aizawa and basically mothered the entire class, scolded them, praised them and protected them no matter what. Aizawa loved watching you with them. 🐛 When he brought Eri back, you both became her sworn protectors and he didn’t even have to ask when he put you both down as her legal guardians. 🐛 While Shota was teaching you were out doing hero work so when it came time to fight you were always called on and he always worried about you while you were gone. 🐛 You were a large mismatched family but it centred around the two of you, anyone could see that you loved each other and protect your little flock.

may we have some kinda angsty headcanons for Iida, Kirishima, and Keigo overhearing their crush say that they made a promise to themself to never date heroes because of how messy it can be and there’s little to no privacy and heroes always have to choose the world, and this causes them to rethink some a some stuff?
please, and thank you ❤️🩹
A/N: Thank you for the request!
CW: General Light Angst, Unspoken/Unrequited Romantic Feelings, Reference to the Stain Arc.
Characters x GN!Reader: Tenya Iida, Eijirou Kirishima, and Keigo Takami
• Iida falls for you as a student, quietly nursing his crush with the knowledge that a high school romance would distract from him becoming a top-tier hero—the entire reason he’s attending this school. There’s a small part of him that thinks it’s a right person, wrong time situation and after he settles into the routine of coursework he might confess. Provided, of course, you’re available and his feelings are requited.
• Iida is, first and foremost, embarrassed to have eavesdropped on your private conversation with a friend. In his defense, your lunch table is close to the line and your friend group is pretty loud.
• One of your friends is dreamily discussing Kamui Woods when you confess that you promised yourself you’d never date a professional hero. And you make good points: the lifestyle is messy, the hours are inconsistent, both press and fans invade the family’s privacy, heroes have a greater obligation than one’s own personal life, etc.
• Of the three, Iida has an interesting perspective on this, because he’s the second son in a family that has spent generations in the hero business. If you were having this conversation with him, he might feel compelled to make this argument with you; he grew up in a happy home, well-loved, and there’s no professional reason that a job title meant a hero had to neglect their family. It’s all about balance.
• Because he’s only overheard your thoughts on the matter, Iida chooses not to intrude, pushing his feelings down. It makes him sad, even though he understands your position from a pragmatic point of view, and his mood toward his coursework dampens for a few weeks. He wonders if you have similar stances toward other jobs that pose risks, like police officers or firefighters, or toward jobs with very long hours that might keep your spouse away from home.
• Iida doesn’t want to convince you otherwise so much as he wants to understand, but he doesn’t consider himself close enough to you to ask.
• He doesn’t truly understand your position until his brother is injured.
• That’s the first time he’s ever wondered whether the hero path is really for him. He’s never seen his mother cry like that. And the anger he feels—that’s something else entirely.
• Iida never speaks to you regarding that opinion he heard, all those weeks ago—and although his heartbeat quickens when he sees you in the halls, he decides to never confess. After all, who would know what you want better than you?
• Although he occasionally wonders what might have been, he doesn’t feel it appropriate to convince you otherwise and feels responsible for upholding his brother’s mantle. He goes on with life wondering if maybe you were the one that got away.
• Kirishima is also a student when he falls for you, and he gets it when he hears you discussing the kind of spouse you’d want—or more specifically not want—with one of your friends in the hallway.
• Instead of associating your view with heroes in general, Kirishima does take it personally. Would you feel that way if he was stronger, braver, better? If his quirk was different? Maybe the “right kind” of hero would impress you.
• Unlike Iida, who pulls away out of respect for you, Kirishima gets friendlier. Just because you won’t date a hero doesn’t mean he can’t be your friend, right? And that’s good enough for him… even though he feels like he’s on fire every time your shoulder accidentally bumps him, or like he may melt whenever you shoot a smile his way.
• So, Kirishima dedicated himself to being nice, and that comes pretty naturally for him. You end up good friends.
• Kirishima comes off as incredibly genuine, and your general studies friend group becomes quite fond of the 1-A hero student that kept seeming to make time for you all. He hides his crush so well that they’re convinced he’s just that friendly, a typical himbo hero, and your friend group becomes his first set of fans. Positive energy all around, since you can respect what he does and still not want to date him.
• The only one of the three who actually would broach the subject, in his own tentative way. Long after he’d overheard that conversation, long after you’d become friends, he fields it: “Have you ever thought about… like sometimes I worry about what it will be like for my spouse. If they’ll be worried all the time, you know? If marrying a hero is too much weight on someone’s shoulders?”
• It’s not a confession per se, so presuming you haven’t changed your mind in the time you’ve known each other, he’ll field your concerns and finally get some closure. Maybe you have a specific reason to not want to date a hero, maybe the career you want to pursue is also demanding and you’d like a spouse that’s more flexible to reconcile that, etc. Either way, he feels a little better knowing it’s not a personal fault of his own.
• I don’t think he ever genuinely considers not being a hero to be with you, because it was his childhood dream. The closest he comes is when you enter a serious relationship with someone else, someone not a hero.
• Because you’re friends at this point, he’s happy for you. He really is. He just wonders sometimes if he’d decided to be something different, if he’d been a general studies student instead, that could be him holding your hand at lunch.
• His hero course friends need him too, and he does think he’s doing what he’s meant to do in being a hero. You’ll always be his favorite “what if?”
• Hawks would be the least likely to let it affect his behavior, because the Hero Commission is consistently in his business, so he completely understands. He’s actually not supposed to date—it impacts his popularity.
• Will it stop him from flirting with you at every opportunity? Absolutely not.
• Hanging around the office and cracking jokes for “group morale.” Not so he can try and make you laugh, nope, no way.
• You’re an admin working at the Hero Commission, so it does surprise him when he overhears you discussing with a coworker how you could never be with a hero. You may respect everything they do from a professional standpoint, but you need more from a partner.
• Hawks understands, and it’s not like the higher-ups would let him date you anyway, but oof is it a blow to his ego.
• You, like most of the people in the office, are used to his playful exuberance. It seems to be business as normal after he overhears you. He continues to make small talk and platonically tease you, just like before.
• When he’s alone, he does reflect on his life. If things were different, if he’d been born to a different set of parents, if he’d never been picked up by the Commission.
• But then again, were it not for his job, he may have never met you in the first place. He can’t bring himself to regret it. He thinks it’s worth it as long as he can enjoy your presence at the Commission.
• One day, it’s mentioned to him that you’ve put in notice. You’d accepted some cushy position in another field with less demanding hours than Hero Commission Admin. He took a very lengthy fly around the city to convince himself he was fine.
• When he shook your hand at your office farewell party, you thought he was only being polite when he said to keep in touch and reach out if you need anything at all. He meant it.

“I don't understand it either, Babybird”
(to be continued)
⌜ A Keigo takami x GN!Villian!Reader story ⌟
⌜ angst 🕊️🥀 (?) ⌟
⌜Summary; Hawks falls in love with someone who he knew he has to turn in. He doesn't understand his feelings with you⌟
⌜ ex; this isnt really a fic, but a writing practice to show people how I write and stuff. ⌟
“It shouldn't have been you of all people. It couldn't be. It just wasn't possible. Right? Of all people in the world, why would I love you?”
“what was so special about you that made me stop that day. What made me hesitant to turn you in? what was it?”
...
"I knew I would get you someday, babybird. it just seems that today was that day. Huh?" Hawks said with a grim tone. His wings still expanded as he made a landing only a few feet from where you were standing. The ground shook slightly once his feet touched the road of Musutafu. There were sirens everywhere. villians on attack which made Japan the main target for danger. which was obvious by the gecko once Japan got it's first bomb threat not long back. The only problem was this was so sudden, nobody saw it coming. Even the Heros of the U.A. hawks noticed you kept quiet, which made his eyebrow twitch into a furrow. making his expression turn from stern to anger. "well, you're just as quiet as I remembered you babybird.. it's a shame really." He hissed between his teeth. It was obvious he was holding back from himself lashing out at you. He was on edge, so of course he was pissed off. You remained silent, as the only thing that filled the air was the sirens and distant screaming of the heros. Hawks stood there with a stern expression while his hair flew with the air that went past the pair. His index finger twitched as he began moving towards you. "..Now, I'm sorry to cut this short, however, you are a danger to society. Just like the rest of the league of villians." He sighed. "So, it'll be easier for me and you to just, let me turn you in. you're under arrest." He said solemnly. This was the final twig that broke your anger, before grabbing a handful of sand from your bag. Which Dabi filled it for emergencies like this one. Without a moment of hesitation, you threw sand into the man's eyes. in which it worked just as you hoped for. Hawks hissed, letting out a screech while the sand burned his eyes. He stumbled back, grasping his face trying to get the substances out his eyes. You took this as a cue to run before Hawks got back up. "Ugh. why can't I use my quirk?.." you hissed under your breath. Shigaraki said that because of their little 'Plan' they were obviously trying to put into action, your job was to not kill anyone. or even injure them. You just had to keep the heros away from trying to stop the gang from making their plan a success. As you ran, Hawks was already in the air. making you his main target. And let me tell you, he wasn't happy. Hawks flew into the air while his wings almost taking up the street's passageway. Your eyes darted everywhere you could see; trying to find anywhere you could hide before hawks found you. It was too late however, just as you were about to make a turn you felt a weight on your figure. Hawks grabbed your shoulder, making his nails dig into your neck and shoulder blade. He shoved his whole weight on top of you, making the both of you to collapse into the street. Hawks got on top of you, making sure you were down before he made the arrest. His wings folded behind his back while he kept his boot firmly against the back of your neck. He couldn't help but chuckle. He remembered how much you boasted that the heros could never get you, yet.. here he was. making you eat your own words. You struggled under his weight, trying to wiggle yourself out from underneath the hero. But it seemed that he got the upper hand rather quickly which made you feel pathetic at your job. How could you have easily been knocked down by a hero? You couldn't even use your quirk if you wanted to. Hawks' left hand slowly traveled to your hands, pinning them down to the cold concrete. As he kept them in a firm grip, his other hand went to his pocket trying to find his handcuffs. As he did, Hawks noticed how much you gave up trying to resist. You both knew there was no use to fighting as it'll make things a lot worse. He let out a quiet sigh before chuckling again. "Sorry babybird.. but it seems that I've.. won this time." he grinned, oh how bad you wanted to slap that grin right off his face. He found the handcuffs and immediately used his teeth to open them from their latch. When successful he locked your hands together. He grabbed your chained hands and slowly put them behind your back. Keeping them secure.

(gn!reader x keigo takami (hawks) | 0.6k words | angst if u squint, idk | a/n: sorry guys brainrot is real
keigo takami is not one for calm. hawks is precise, yes- and agile, calculating, and adaptive, but keigo?
keigo is the opposite.
your shared home with him is a little cluttered, but exemplifies who you two are as people, your kitchen always low on the snacks he craves, and the case of beers by the tv occasionally shifting as he reaches for one on a quiet night. he doesn’t find himself appreciating those things enough, though, and he knows he has a life that calls to him, one that pulls him away from the domesticity in your solace.
his life is full of action; heroes, villains, fame, and the spotlight will always occupy his day- but you cannot attest to being there for the rest of his nights. even the best of heroes cannot be stuck to one place forever.
you’re happy where you are. at least, somewhere in the stories of his life and secrets of his heart, you are there. even if, behind the scenes and the camera, you’re the one providing the support, it will be him who knows your role best after the ‘cut’ is called.
if anything, hawks doesn’t need comfort. he offers it. to injured civilians whom he crouches down to reassure, there’s a small voice wondering who does the same for him.
hawks doesn’t need comfort, keigo does.
and that’s why, when he’s done soaring up to the highest building and watching the city below, he retreats to your window and slips inside. not that it’s open (he’s taught you well enough), but that he’s so familiar with the code to your home that he breezes through and opens it from the inside with the help of his feathers. there, he is raw. there, he strips off all the layers confining him. he leaves his title, visor, jacket, and boots by the entrance, and falls into the life he shares with you.
this is one of the rare days that patrol is extended, but you’re still awake.
“was wondering when you’d be home.” keigo smiles at your frame by the entrance, patting your shoulders as he walks by.
“you didn’t haf’to stay up for me.” he responds, quick to assess himself in the mirror of the bathroom.
“you know i always do, kei.” you appear next to him, a tired look on your eyes as you watch him.
this life isn’t so bad.
it’s a life where he kisses you on the forehead and holds you close before walking into the room you both share. his embrace makes you feel warm, and you think he’s perfected the art of making someone feel safe.
still, its the same life where you have no idea what you two are, where he goes to you for the comfort he can’t get from anywhere else, but he leaves before you can even open your eyes and see the sun peaking from the horizon. a life where he has all of his reserved emotions for you, but cannot love you the way you wished he could.
still, you know better than to be selfish. you know better than to expect him to be able to love like the movies. maybe if he was just keigo, but he has a title to uphold. and you know full well the tribulations of being there for him. seeing him at his worst, and watching him at his best through a screen. you were the one to catch keigo takami if he fell.
still, you would not give him up for anything, even if you cannot call him yours, you are the closest he gets to home, and you both will cherish it forever.

I've Got You
Hawks x fem!Reader
Synopsis: In the aftermath of a devastating battle, medic hero Mizu tends to the wounds of her childhood friend and fellow hero, Hawks.
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, orange glow over the wreckage of the battlefield. The scent of smoke and the faint crackle of dying flames filled the air. Among the rubble and chaos, (Y/n) — the medic hero Mizu — worked tirelessly, her quirk manipulating water to heal the wounds of the injured. Her hands moved with practiced precision, but her heart was heavy with worry. The recent battle had left many heroes and civilians alike in desperate need of aid, and her mind was occupied with thoughts of a certain missing winged hero.
Her heart pounded heavily in her chest as she navigated the smoke-filled streets. The once bustling city was now reduced to rubble, cries of pain and desperation lingering in the air. Her hands trembled slightly, knowing she had to stay strong and focused.
A crash echoed from the entrance, and her heart skipped a beat. She turned to see a young hero-in-training staggering in, supporting the charred and unconscious body of a man. Her breath caught in her throat as she recognized the tattered remnants of the hero costume. Hawks.
"Mizu! Please, help him!" the student pleaded, tears streaming down his face. "He… he fought so hard, but Dabi's flames…"
Mizu's breath hitched. Her eyes scanned over Hawks' charred and battered form. His usually vibrant wings were gone. She could feel the panic rising, threatening to choke her. "Get him inside, quickly," she ordered, her voice firm despite the dread creeping into her heart.
As they laid Hawks gently onto a makeshift bed in her temporary clinic, memories bombarded her.
"Keigo, look!" Little (Y/n) had whispered, cupping her hands to reveal a tiny sphere of water she had managed to summon. Her young face beamed with pride. "I'm getting better!"
Young Keigo, his wings still growing, had smiled back, his golden eyes filled with warmth. "That's amazing, (Y/n)! One day, we'll both be great heroes. We'll get out of here and make a difference."
Tears blurred her vision, but she forced them back, focusing on the task at hand. She couldn’t afford to lose him.
Mizu summoned water from the air, her hands glowing as she directed it over his burns. The cool liquid soothed his damaged skin, the healing properties of her quirk working rapidly. She watched his face intently, willing him to wake up, to give her any sign that he would be okay.
“Hawks… Keigo… please,” she whispered, her voice breaking. “You can’t leave me. Not now.”
Minutes felt like hours as she worked tirelessly, her tears mingling with the water she controlled. Suddenly, a faint movement caught her attention. His eyes fluttered open, and he gazed up at her, his usually sharp eyes now dull and filled with pain.
“(Y/n)…” he rasped, barely audible.
“Hawks, don’t speak. Just rest,” she instructed, her voice thick with emotion. She continued to heal him, her hands steady despite the tears falling freely down her cheeks.
He tried to smile, but it was a weak, fragile thing. “Didn’t… think… I’d see you… cry,” he murmured.
“Don’t joke, you idiot,” she replied, a watery laugh escaping her. “You scared me to death.”
His hand reached up, trembling, to brush against her cheek. “Sorry… for… worrying you.”
She leaned into his touch, her heart aching with every beat. “Just promise me… promise you’ll never go without me again,” she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of desperation and love.
He managed a faint nod, his eyes never leaving hers. “I promise,” he said, his voice barely more than a breath. “I… won’t leave you.”
Mizu’s hands continued their work, her focus unwavering now. She poured all her strength and love into healing him, determined to pull him back from the brink. As his breathing steadied and the color began to return to his cheeks, she allowed herself a small, relieved smile.
“Rest now, Hawks. You’re safe,” she said softly, brushing his hair back gently. “I’ve got you.”
He nodded slightly, his eyes closing once more as he drifted into a healing sleep. Mizu stayed by his side, her heart finally beginning to calm. The fear was still there, but so was the hope. She had him back, and she wouldn’t let go.
As the city slowly began to recover around them, Mizu knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. The bond they shared, forged in the fires of their past and strengthened in the trials of their present, would guide them through the uncertain future. And with that thought, she allowed herself to believe that they would be okay.

Hey I just wanted to start off to say I’m in LOVE with your f1 dabi x hawks and reader au. How would dabi and hawks react to reader sneaking out to see bakugo?
Disappointed at you and very very angry at Katsuki. They're not even that disappointed, they're just very scared and concerned about what would've happened if you did manage to sneak out.
Obviously, it's in your (and Kats) best interest that you don't tell them it's not your first time sneaking out.
As for Katsuki, he's just been banned from ever talking to you again. Clearly, he's a bad influence on you. Their sweet child would've never done anything as dangerous without someone evil persuading them to.
So since you're now grounded (that you almost get out of when you gave Keigo puppy eyes, but Dabi was firm enough to reject your cute face and drag his husband away too before he could start giving you hugs and kisses. Bad behaviour should not be rewarded!), its upto Katsuki now to sneak in to your room and meet you.
Like Katsuki comes in the dead of the night, climbs up to your window and you let him in. Unfortunately for you guys, Dabi was awake at that time (because he felt guilty for grounding you and he wanted to cuddle you) and boy did he see red when he heard Katsuki's voice.
Immediately, he gets his metal bat and is busting down your door to beat him up.
"YOU'RE DEAD!" Dabi states before lunging at him, and you push Katsuki towards the window, running to step in between him and your father.
"Stay in bed, Y/n!" Dabi yells, and you obviously don't listen to him, opting to hug him instead and give Katsuki enough time to escape.
"Dad! It's not what it looks like!" You stated, but Dabi picked you up and threw you on the bed instead before rushing out of your room and down the stairs. He was gonna get in his car, chase down that rat and run him over until you couldn't tell the difference between him and a road kill.
But Dabi only stopped when he heard your pained yelp from behind, and he looked back to see you down the stairs, holding your ankle that you had accidentally twisted.
"Y/n!" Dabi ran to you, and Keigo had also come down after waking up from the ruckus. "Oh Dabi, what did you do?" He asked his husband, but Dabi was far more concerned with your ankle that was now turning a nasty colour.
He picked you up and carried you to the couch, while Keigo brought over a first aid kit.
-
"Ow." You whispered, as Dabi finished bandaging your ankle.
Dabi narrowed his eyes at you. "Dont "ow" me. Who told you to get out of the bed?"
"Who told you to chase Katsuki?"
"Dont start with me-"
"Enough. Both of you." Keigo sighed. "Dabi, you should've let that boy run. He wasn't worth the trouble." He then turned to you. "And you missy- you knew he isn't allowed to meet you. And you know you're grounded. So you're in trouble now."
"But it isn't fair-"
"No. It is. We grounded you because we didn't want you to get hurt. And look at you now. In pain, all because you didn't listen to us. So, now you're grounded until your foot heals and then for another 2 weeks. No arguing."
You pouted, letting your shoulders flop. "You guys shouldn't be mad at me. I'm injured." You muttered, eyebrows furrowed but your fathers could clearly see the remorse in your eyes. Your poor heart could never handle them or anyone getting mad at you.
They smiled before kissing your cheeks. "We're not mad at you, honey. Just... concerned."
Dabi nodded before bopping your nose. "We just don't want you to get hurt, bub."
Keigo hummed in agreement, pushing the ahir away from your face, tucking it behind your ear.
"We will always love you."

Hawks x Hero Reader
Scenario: You got caught up in a clasping building, heavily injured and the only thing you wanted was to have a call with your favor bird man. Only this was your last call to him.

“Hey, Dove! What’s up?”
You smiled at hearing his voice. You mustered up the most energy you can to sound normal.
“Nothing, just miss you.”
He laughed, God that laugh, its as sweet as honey, something you’ll never get tired of hearing no matter how long you and Hawks had been together.
“I miss you too.” He cooed.
“How’s your day?” You asked as you stared down to you blood covered abdomen with your hand applying as much pressure as you can.
“You know, this that, some borrrrning paper is work. I should have just taken it home and did it there.” He whined.
You smile imagining his cute grumpy face as he complain about work.
“Kei~”
“Yeah?”
You knew there was no hope for you. You’re stuck under rubble and there’s no chance for anyone to find you in time. At least you get to hear him one last time.
“Can you sing for me? I wanna hear your voice.”
“Of course any thing for you.”
You close your eyes listening intently to his voice. He started humming a song and then fully singing it. A song you recognize oh so fondly, it your song together, a song you coined to perfectly describe your relationship together, Best Part by H.E.R. You can’t help but smile listening to soothing voice of Hawks. Sure he no professional singer but his voice always calmed you even now when your near your end.
“That was great love. You should be a singer.”You joked.
“Why thank you~ but this voice only works for you.”
“Way my name won’t you?”
“Only if you say my name too~”
“Keigo~” you said full heartedly with a sweet tone.
“______, my baby bird.”
You giggle, of for it hurt, but it’s worth it. You loved him with all your soul, you didn’t want him to worry about you, at least not right now.
“I don’t want to keep you long.”
“Okay, I love you. And thanks hearing from you made this boring day a lot better.”
“I.. I love you too, more than you’ll ever now Keigo. So much.” You said as tears started to run down your face.
“Talk to you later, Dove.”
“Yeah, Goodbye Kei. Love you.”
*Click*
You let out laughed to yourself, thinking how cruel the world can be. You promised him, you promised each other to be together forever. Here you are under a broken building struggling to even move anymore wishing more than anything to be with him. To hold him and to cherish him. To make silly jokes together. So many things you wish you can still do with him.
You wonder what the world would be like without you as you bleed out. You’re sad knowing how much you’ll hurt him when you’re Gone. You hate seeing him down in the dumps. Imagining him so devastated after finding out made you feel guilty. Hawks will be the last thing you ever thought of and the last person to ever hear you. You looked at your phone, now very cracked but still useable. You shakily held it to record one last message before you fell limp.
———
Something felt off to Hawks. That goodbye didn’t sit with him right, along with that wobble in your voice when you said you loved him.
“They’re fine, I’m probably worried over nothing… right?” He said to himself.
He thought he’s probably just over analyzing, but then again he over analyzes everything about you. Your voice, your beauty, your personality, everything that many you so charming to him. Still he could not shake that sinking feeling in his heart.
He couldn’t sit still and was bout to go look for you, knowing you where you go on patrols when a call came in. He was anoyed but still answered.
“Yes?”
“We need you here, there’s a collapse building and we want to find any survivors.”
Though he was no rescue hero, his quirk was always handy when it came to fining survivors beneath rubble so he does get the occasional call from rescue heros to help.
“Okay send me the location and I’ll be there in a flash”
His eyes widened when he saw the location. It was were you were patrolling that day. That feeling he got earlier in the day just got worse and he rushed out of his office as quick as he could worried sick about you.
Once he was there he was filled in by the other heros. Apparently this was caused by a villain but they couldn’t find them yet. Hawks asked if anyone has seen you since he knew you somewhere closed. They didn’t which made more anxious than before. He’s praying, hoping you’re safe. He tried to call you.
*Ring*
*Ring*
‘Come on baby please answer.’ He thought as he sent out of feathers to help look for survivors.
*Ring*
“Hi, this is H/N! I’m currently working so I won’t be able to answer your call! Sorry if you need anything please call my agency.”
You didn’t answer and Hawks was growing increasingly more concerned that you were bought up into the rubble.
He was able to find many survivors but not you. He felt a clearing under the rubble though his feathers but nothing seemed to be in their until he felt something soft as his feather rushed. Around the clearing.
“Hey! There’s a gap over here, there might be someone trap under,” Hawks called out as he carefully pulled some stones away.
After a few minutes work of him and some heros, they were able to see inside. Hawks heart sunk as soon as he saw the sight. You were leaning on a still standing pillar, unmoving and a slash wound on your stomach. One hand holding a cracked phone, the other hold on to your stomach. Hawks dived in to grab you but you felt cold.
“Baby?” He said softly in disbelief.
He held you tight not caring about the blood or the fact there is other heros were there watch him with pity. He started to cry holding your limp body.
“No…: no ______ why…. Why did it have to be you…” he hugged you close so close.
“I’m sorry for your loss, Hawks.” One of the heros said “At least now we found them.”
“And we found the villain too.” Another said looking across form where you laid to see the villain’s body crushed under the rubble infront of you.
“Common let’s get them out first this place is dangerous.” The hero said placing here hand on Hawks shoulders.
Hawks was silent but nodded.
One they were out of the area, Hawks held you for along time before someone pried him off of you. He couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t accept you were gone. He had your phone you were holding with you, still had the cute chicken charm he gave you hang on it. He turned on the thankfully still working phone, first thing to pop up after being unlocked was a recording app. He opened the last thing that was recorded.
“Hey… if someone find this. It’s a message for Hawks... it’s private so this is only for him.”
He could hear how exhausted you sound in the recording, realizing it was probably your last words.
There as a long pause before you said something again.
“Birdie…. I’m sorry. I broke our promise. Please don’t be sad. Thank you for singing to me earlier, it really helped with the pain. Smile for me will ya?”
He could stop his tears, it was then it click in his mind. That was your last goodbye to him. Even in your last moments you were on his mind.
There were so many questions in his mind “why didn’t you tell me… why didn’t you ask for help…. Why couldn’t I tell that you were dying…. Why didn’t I….”
Hawks stood there for along time crying to himself. Finaly he muster all his emotions together just to smile.
“I’m smiling… just for you… Dove. Wherever you are.” He said broken and shaken.
Finally he walked off, going back to a now cold apartment with surrounded by everything you both owned. Everything a reminder of you which he will never get rid of because he wanted to keep you alive in his own way.
“I.. miss you already.” He said as he plopped himself on your side of your shared bed taking in your scent as he cried himself to bed.

🌸Hawks/ Keigo Takami x Reader: Story Prompts/ Ideas
👉(𝓥𝓸𝓽𝓮 𝓷𝓸𝔀!)🌺
🐞 🎀 𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓂𝑒: Random 🎀 🐞
The ideas that randomly popped in my during my exam reviews. Keigo, honey please stop popping inside my head your distracting me~
Ill write you once everything is over oki? oki.
🌸𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝟙:
In a world where the reader possesses a unique quirk that enhances the effectiveness and benefits of tea, she runs a popular tea shop. Customers flock to her establishment to experience the incredible productivity, morning boosts, fertility aid, and beauty improvements provided by her expertly brewed teas. What happens when a certain bird with a sweet tooth became interested on your little shop?
🌸𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝟚:
In a bustling world of heroes and agencies, the reader finds herself as a diligent worker at Hawk's agency. Despite her unwavering commitment to her job, there's a lingering sense of loneliness that follows her. Surrounded by female co-workers receiving affectionate bouquets from their significant others, she can't help but feel a tinge of longing. It seems as though she's destined to spend life's special moments without a partner by her side – Valentine's Day passes without flowers, and birthdays arrive without the company of a significant other. What happens if that cycle crumbled down by your boss, who secretly admires you from afar.
🌸𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝟛:
Keigo Takami, known to the world as the charismatic hero Hawks, carries a secret burden—a cursed existence that turns him into a magnificent red-tailed hawk when the moon rises. Fearing the consequences of his true identity being exposed, Keigo has kept this extraordinary aspect of himself hidden from everyone, turning the curse into a blessing, knowing that he could fly into the city without being noticed.
One fateful night during a snowstorm, Keigo loses control while flying and crashes into the home of his unsuspecting assistant, (Y/N), who always is silent and serious. Discovering the injured hawk, (Y/N) tends to its wounds with tender care, unknowingly captivating Keigo with their warmth and compassion. Witnessing a side of the reader that he had never seen before - a warm, caring, and compassionate side that contrasts with the public's perception of them as cold and distant. Drawn by an inexplicable connection, Keigo returns each night to (Y/N)'s window in his hawk form.
Hmm I wonder how this one would play out.
