this is still one of the greatest set lists I’ve ever witnessed, and still the single greatest taking back sunday set I’ve ever seen. and it was this show, in the most accidental way, that would be the beginning of what is still the most ridiculous adventure of my life. it was this show that, the next night, would spark the conversation with the cute boy behind the pizzeria counter that would leave me completely and suddenly overcome with this inexplainable need to have this complete stranger not be a complete stranger.

I’m not trying to get all sentimental up in here. there are so many more memories and odd little milestones to reflect on as the winter comes and goes.

but I must say - it’s incredible, the things that could happen when you stick to your seemingly senseless gut. it’s beyond my comprehension what could happen in just one year. and, my god, it is unbelievable how much pizza one person could consume in just a few months.

also, this post was not meant to exceed two sentences.

well. as long as I’m already here… happy stalk-aversary, my one and only pizza boy. you were worth every slice.

what was expected to be three normal days at Ben’s house while his parents were away ended up being a testament to how fucking much of me he completes.

I don’t think he will ever seize to amaze me.
