Six Months 💫 Yesterday this wee one was six months old. It stops me in my tracks that six months have already past. Each day brings new challenges, more worries and less sleep and then she smiles. She is wild. She is magic. Ellen entered the world with drama and in style her half year birthday was no different. We started the day with baby girls’ first scrambled eggs, then ended the day with our first, and hopefully last, ride in an ambulance. A cough had resulted in heavy and scary breathing and a call to NHS 111 meant a wee trip to hospital to be safe. We were looked after amazingly and were both home within an hour. Baby is feeling a little poorly but ok. Not what I expected to be writing for Ellen’s six month milestone but you know, life. Keeping Me On My Toes!

Woke up really early this morning as I had an enquiry last night from a potential customer! Yaaaay.

Everything running through my mind, what research I needed to do, time to look through their social accounts, what details I need to send them etc but first things first. That bundle of joy will prioritise my jobs today, starting with him., then him again and finally him. Wash, dress, breakfast, play and dare I take my eyes of him and he will make me pay, so no sneaky five mins on the pc.

Hubby is off work today so surely, I can fit all in relatively stress free, wrong! He is going out to socialise with his friends today and I really cannot moan (but I still did) as he sees them a couple of times a year. He did get up and do the garden, walk the dog and took the little bundle too (that seems to be sticking when referring to offspring no 2). So drop all and concentrate on the potential new customer. I won’t bore you with the next half hour but managed to do all I needed before I spoke to the customer and even better the little bundle arrived back at the end of the call, happy days. Looking good so fingers are well and truly crossed.

Hubby now getting ready to go (not jealous at all) and the little bundle is showing signs of still being ill with boy flu (rolling eyes as I type, they learn so quick). I’ll be having fun today (rolling eyes again, I should abbreviate that as I do roll my eyes a lot).

Time to score brownie points, play outside in the new sand pit with new toys. That was fun for a whole five minutes until every 2 seconds, it turned into a - lets eat sand game. On to the swings we go. With brownie points bagged time to come in and dare to switch the laptop on. Aaaaggghhh straight over to the house phone table, everything moved and phone beeping away. In no time then pulling wires from around the skirting boards, playing with water in the dog’s bowl, climbing on his push along to drag paperwork of the table and floor covered in every single toy from his toy box. How dare I try to do some work. My thoughts wonder back to the “your so lucky to work from home” phrase that has been said on a few occasions!

Still wondering how this Mumpreneur will succeed, but I’m putting today down as ‘one of those days’ (rolling my eyes again). It will happen, I just cannot wait to be blogging about key tips for new mum’s starting out!!! In the meantime that little bundle is sleeping and this mum cannot keep her eyes open for much longer, so I’ll sign out for the night, sweet dreams.
