I don’t know much about Cell, though from what I’m looking at in google he absorbs other’s dna and is supposed to be the perfect fighter or something?

I’m not going to do all my Bloodmoon, that’s get too long and probably repetitive so I’m gonna do the first three and last three

Swap— demon-like traits, horns and a tail definitely, sensitivity to light, and an ego boost my girl is way too arrogant for her own good, maybe blood magic as well?

Retired— absolute fricking stubbornness, weakness to heat, could learn other abilities easier

Separated, Hunter— extra strength, extra stealth, would get claws strong enough to climb almost any surface, weakness to electricity

Separated, Harvest— extra agility, extra speed, shapeshifting capabilities, I’d say voice mimicry but apparently Cell already has that

Horror— very good acting capabilities, extra sharp teeth and claws, an ungodly amount of knowledge about Halloween Movies, can also crawl around on the ceiling, stealth

Keeper— absolute fricking resilience, can fix himself with scraps, very agile, diminished sensitivity to pain, major weakness to having his body puppeteered

Overlord— tons of weapon knowledge, can adapt and learn to wield basically any weapon damn near on the spot, ability to float, spider sense-like instincts, command over apex predators (ie Orcas, Tigers, Wolves, Cassowaries, etc)

In the troves of Marionette Moon’s now currently abandoned by its keeper as an unwelcome visitor roams its corridors. Giaterra wandered the hallways of her creation’s little library. They had to admit, they were impressed by their favorite pupil’s little work, it disheartened them to see it all though.

They did all they could to keep their creation complacent, to keep the universes in check and yet they betray them. Then they get “buddy buddy” with a Bloodmoon, they’re so disappointed in their precious puppet. They were going to have to get their hands dirty to teach their precious puppet a lesson. It will start with getting rid of that vile Bloodmoon.

Marionette Moon lies awake on the nest that she was moved to for better comfort. Their motor functions had returned but they were in no mood to get up. They could sense it. Though it would not happen now but soon. Giaterra would come down to “rectify” their mistake for letting Grim pull their string to free them once again from the control of that monster. They know Giaterra will not be easy to take down like they were the first time she had overpowered them… If they could find the boys at the moment she would tell them something of importance.

She finally managed to sit up but not without some level of pain. They looked around and listened closely if anyone was around.

Thoughts from Dreamer's Nightmare

Each of Wonderstorm's graphic novels has given us extra content outside the scope of the show, and each has teased us with hints and foreshadowing that fall in line with the greater themes of the multimedia story they're presenting.

Through the Moon gave us a greater understanding of the purpose of the Moon Nexus, which the new trailer has shown will be expanded upon in S7. We got to see the mechanics of rescue and resurrection through Phoe-Phoe's rebirth and Rayla's visit to the world beyond life and death, which foreshadowed Runaan's return in S6.

It also gave Rayla and Callum a reason to hold love and pain in their hearts at the same time, so their struggle to come back together after separation, in S4 and beyond, would mirror the greater struggle of the humans and elves all across Xadia as they try to find ways to stop fighting their endless war and achieve peace and love with one another.

Bloodmoon Huntress gave us a new villain, Kim'dael, who appeared in the show in S5, and set up what feels like a rematch between her and the moonfam. It also gave us Runaan and Rayla's bonding origin story, allowing greater understanding of her heartfelt focus on rescuing him.

We also got the tiniest peek at Keeper L-------'s existence. When Rayla sees him in S7, his lore will expand.

And then there's Runaan and Ethari's relationship, which was expanded a lot in the graphic novel. Whatever we get in S7, we already know that they're an effective battle couple, each with their own strengths, and that they're devoted to each other and work well as a team.

Puzzle House did so much heavy lifting with its foreshadowing, I'm in awe. The unicorns were a fun throughline that no one suspected would lead us to Leola, but it has. The meta moment when we've left the cute childlike area behind and now we're in the dark scary part is delightfully self-aware and holds such importance for the constant growth and maturing themes in the show. The hint that the greater multimedia story of Xadia itself is like a puzzle to be solved is subtle, but accurate. We can find valuable secrets hidden inside if we take the time to think and analyze properly.

Claudia's ability to read Viren's map foreshadows options in S7, and the concept of a pure heart, first touched on with Amaya in S3, is expanded upon here as a real phenomenon that has real in-universe effects, so when we came back to it in S6 with Soren - with comments from Corvus and from Viren - we are left with a much expanded understanding of what that means for him.

So, what does Dreamer's Nightmare have to offer us? Let's take a look. (This is just a high-altitude pass, looking for peaks rising from the fog. I'm not going to delve into every aspect of the book in this post.) The things that stand out to me at similar heights to the other points I've mentioned for the other graphic novels are these:

Callum and Ezran's relationship is fraught during much of this story, even though they do love each other. It's reminiscent of TTM's approach to Rayla and Callum struggling to find common ground despite their fathers' conflict, and I think that's where it's pointing again, too. With Runaan returned, Ezran and Callum will find themselves on opposite sides, despite their love for each other. And they'll have to try to work through that if they want to reach an understanding. Callum and Rayla didn't get there in TTM - it took them much longer, so we might not get a complete and tidy result just from S7.

The dream warden holds the rest of the big themes I see as foreshadowing. They circle around time and identity.

The warden itself was young when it made a friend, and then it lost them. Connection and loss are constant themes in TDP, from all the parents our main five kids have lost, to the choices they make that take them away from each other, to the ways they choose to seek each other out again. The warden lost its connection to the little one it loved, and over time it grew angry, hurtful. This feels like a parallel to Aaravos and his loss of Leola, and the darkening of the star on his chest. Its plan to attack the adults for leaving their dreams behind is similar to Aaravos' grand scheme in some ways.

The other aspect of the dream warden I feel is themey is the time gap and loss of identity it suffers once it's calmed. It returns, and for a moment it is still very alone and uncertain. More than one show character has stood in such a position, and yet more may stand here soon. Rayla stood here when she finally sought Callum out after two years. Runaan is standing here now, between S6 and S7, uncertain where the battle lines have shifted to in his absence, and who is on his side. Aaravos may stand here if he stops causing chaos and truly looks at the people he's been harming. Claudia could stand here as well, seeing the way she's been pushing those who love her away and changing herself in pursuit of her goals. The warden's storm can represent a host of too-big, negative emotions, and plenty of characters carry such a storm inside them.

The hopeful side of the identity moment is that the warden takes on parts of the identity of those supporting it. Little bits of the other creatures live on in it. It is already not as alone as it may feel. It already has support, even before it begins to reach out in dreams for new friends. It's choosing to emulate those who helped, and that will help the warden become a helper itself, once more. A new cycle is beginning, and it can spread to anyone receptive to it, anyone who takes something good and makes it their own and carries it forward to touch other lives. Runaan was not always an assassin. Aaravos was not always a manipulator. Claudia was not always a killer. If you live, you can still learn.

Cycles aren't inherently bad. They're just tools. Big, giant engines, massive cosmic things we build with our will and maintain through our choices - all of us, together.

Here's to Season 7 of The Dragon Prince, and the conclusion of the cycle we've spun together. I'll see you on the other side.

Random Taurus x Sun headcanons bc I am so totally complete normal about these guys I promise

This is mostly my Angel Aura AU, where Sun is like a Star Nursery due to a series of unfortunate events preventing his growth into an Astral himself.

• Taurus has little to no concept of how romance works, but he has people he trusts to explain it. (At least, initially - he trusted Gemini, but they were horrible, then Lunar, who made him even more confused, then Jack+Dazzle who taught him via movies and cartoons, etc.)

• Taurus actually asked for Moon's blessing regarding courtship - when Moon asked if he was "asking permission", the Astral being shut that down quickly - "Sunrise is far brighter than anyone gives him credit for. He is his own person, and I will respect his decisions on the matter in full. I do not seek your permission, Moondrop - instead, I seek your blessing" ((it was at that moment Moon knew - this bull is a keeper))

• Sun is aro-spec. It takes a WHILE for him to develop feelings for people and it takes longer to realize what those feelings are. He didn't realize he was pining until he was in a Stage Three Daydream. ((He immediately screamed into the closest cushion))

• Dazzle calls Sun Mama. She calls Taurus Papa. Jack also calls Sun Mama, but he calls Taurus not-papa and he refuses to be corrected on either front. Solar is so tired.

• Taurus is simultaneously GREAT with kids and completely horrible with them. Yes, he will keep them happy, safe and well cared for. He will also spoil them completely rotten because he is also somewhat terrified of them (they're so small, he could break them on accident, help him- )

• Sun's gender is a technicality- he's a man in the way a slice of Kraft American Cheese is technically a cheese. This will not ever stop him from wearing and presenting however the heck he wants, though.

• Taurus once spent an entire night counting all of Sun's freckles (seventeen on his right cheek, thirteen on the left, but he has a scar there that may have covered more)

• Sun is the reigning CHAMPION of Mom-Friending people and also of pet names. Ironically, he doesn't give the tauran being any until around when they start dating, and even then it's generic things like "dear" or "darling"

• Taurus calls Sun Pixie frequently - at first it was similar to him calling Lunar Puck, then it stuck, especially after Dazzle and Jack forced him to watch the Tinkerbell movies. Sun is small, thin, spritely, cute, and full of contradictions. ((He doesn't often use pet names, opting instead for things like "little one" or "little [species/animal]" - he does occasionally drop smth like "my heart" or "my dearest love" to Sun to get the other flustered))

• Earth took the news arguably the best out of the entire family at face value, just a sweet "oh, congratulations!" She did, however, immediately message Monty to ask if his star power rifle would work on Astrals - just in case. (It didn't, but upon learning the situation, he started working on one that would)

• Taurus assisted in the Daycare one(1) time, and a kid immediately asked if he was gonna marry "mistah sunny 'cuz he got red pants 'n yous a bull". Despite the temporary crisis, Taurus decided that no, he did not care for child induced existential dread, thank you.

• Bloodmoon lives bc I decide what to do with this AU and they are comically protective of and respectful to Sun - they often try to sneak attack Taurus to "test his capabilities as a mate". He has yet to lose, and they're mildly salty about it.

• similarly, the other Astrals look a bit further into things upon Taurus getting involved romantically with one who is on their radar. Fortunately - or perhaps unfortunately - most of them adore Sun to pieces in a variety of ways. ((I'm debating making Leo flirt with Sun incessantly for funnies))

Once for a while posting non art content that I still want to share in my blog. I've been playing Dragon Adventures since winter 2019, and throught this time accumulated decent ammount of cool dragons. And resently I've noticed similarities in their patterns, that they could easily be split up in pairs. And, yeah, now I ship my own dragons (๑﹏๑//)

Anyway, to the fellas

Blue and Gokuraku, my Fox and Wolf pair. Rather obvious pick, with a twist that despite Gokuraku is more big and carries an axe, Blue is the true menace and will beat your butt. Vulp is leg color btw, with flow of blue, black and white colors, and Cas is vanilla milkshake themed .3 (Yea I know translation of song that I used as inspo for wolf's name, it's one of my favorites and an absolute mood for me when I feel down, bop to it each time i decend into apathy and depression)

Keeper and Prince, Void Corrupted theme pair. They have more of a mentor and student vibe than a romantical pair. Keeper was stuck in a Void for only gods knows why, and young Prince accidentally got in here while fighting Cosmalisk, so Keeper took him under his wing to protect

Jingle and Soul, Ice Dwellers pair. Jingle found Soul in cold winter forest and welcomed them to live with them in their cozy village, not completely realising that their new friend is dead spirit. They can have cute interactions, because Jingle is super sweet, and Soul doesn't know that she's dead either, so she gets confused when she does common ghost stuff like passing through solid objects

And last pair, Lucky and Jade, Minty Jokesters pair. At begining Lucky was an unlucky target of Jade for his endless pranks, but slowly they grew to each other, and started to be jokester duo, pulling pranks on anyone they want

I also have a trio of black-white-red dragons, from left to right: Bloodmoon, Taurus and Gorgeous. Kinda headcannon them being in similar clan, with Taurus as their leader, Bloodmoon as fighting enthusiast, and Gorgeous as gardener and money keeper.

Also, as a recent addition to that party, I've got this Amaris by co hatching mine, and you guess right, it's also black, white and red! She doesn't have a name yet, and a role, but I'm sure I can fit her into this sort of clan of my dragons. Maybe will give her role of the prophet and make her best friend of Bloodmoon since they're both star themed I'm very normal about this colours combo, I swear I'm not edgelord (˚˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )

Do the bitty bots get possessive or territorial over their keepers/owners?

depending of what category they fall under

The main three are Luna bots, Solar bots and Eclipsed bots.

Luna bots tend to either be more social (Lunar based) or quiet (Moon based) but it can vary based on subspecies as well

Sol bots (Sun, sometimes others) tend to be the most sociable and usually won't get territorial.

Eclipsed bots on the other hand- they're definitely a finicky bunch. We have the Lunar based Eclipsed (Bloodmoon) and Solar based Eclipsed (Eclipse) both can get highly possessive of territory and owners. Some acceptions are if they were in a "litter" with bots of other types. Some Eclipsed bots gain the personality of normal Sol bots (Solar for example)

Grief trio!

As you may see, Amnesiac has crutches, that’s due to their mobility issues stemming from a head injury they sustained, which is what caused their amnesia and personality changes, which can also be seen by the bandages on their head.

Retired doesn’t seem to change a lot, though they have a scar over where their damaged eye would be, if, uh, if they still had it, that’s a glass eye.

And Lone… is there, I didn’t really focus much on Lone for this so there’s not much for me to say about him sadly

I get the distinct feeling Keeper might not be the best to look after Amnesiac, I can already see it trying to teach them how to make homemade bombs 😅

Then there’s Lone and Retired, just hanging out, Lone is probably the only Bloodmoon in here who’s allowed to carry Retired when they can’t walk

Keeper! So fun fact, they are being held together by several metal strings wrapped around their body in canon, which means that must happen in its human variant as well. Out of all the Bloodmoons, excluding the two gods, this one is the most zombie-like of them all, but don’t worry, they’re fine

Retired and Amnesiac during laundry day. The teen is showing Retired something in their Switch, Retired appreciates the distraction

Lone and Retired! Going back to the whole ‘Retired can’t walk sometimes’, yeah they kinda really hate that. They will push themselves to walk and ignore any and all pain they may be in.

As you may expect, this doesn’t end well for them

I'm incredibly unsure of what to do here...do I take Ruin's ominous vague statements as reason enough to make this the first non-VRChat video I my lore playlist in several months? Do I leave it off for now since we don't even know if he's actually alluding to something or if he's just trying to get a confession out of Bloodmoon? Do I use the same logic of last year's takeover and add every video that shows the change in the characters dynamic over the course of the month? Ooooh, the struggle of a SaMS lore keeper!

Here are the Separated Twins and Swap!

Hunter and Harvest would run around a lot and then crash and sleep for hours, they would always be around one another no matter what they were doing. Harvest despite not having too much of a grasp on emotions would be highly expressive while Hunter would be the exact opposite. They’d 100% swap clothes all the time.

Swap is a feral cat, they run around everywhere, scratch every surface they can get their claws on, bite, scratch, the like. Technically speaking Scythe can talk but she doesn’t. They straight up actually just are a cat.

Then Horror and Keeper!

Heaven and Hatchet’s clothes are all Halloween themed. They really like watching TV//Movies and “helping out” with cooking. They’re not as energetic as other Bloodmoons, even during sugar highs, the most they do is babble a lot. Speaking of, they will ask a lot of questions about anything that catches their eye, mostly bugs and cooking utensils.

Sickle really likes fluffy stuff, they burrow themselves in blankets if they have the chance. They are the type of baby that always gets themselves in dangerous places unfortunately, they need repairs pretty often. Doesn’t cry a lot surprisingly enough.

And lastly the Grief Trio!

Buck and Styx are a fearful kid. They don’t trust easily, usually staying away from everyone. The jacket they’re wearing is Solar’s, it’s their comfort item. They are actually just fully mute, but will growl and hiss if someone comes too close to them. They copy their friends whenever they’re around them. Their pastimes usually include sleeping, watching others, and watching Solar work.

Original is a very, veeeery angry baby. He really doesn’t like adults. He’s a biter. He is very artistically inclined, drawing on walls and floors with crayons, grabbing whatever fabrics there are and tying them all together, and actually being somewhat responsible with glitter usage on paper drawings. He only shares his plushies with his close friends.

Ruby and Vermillion are very energetic babies. They like the outside and nature. They will hug everyone and everything. Generally they like to crawl around since it’s easier than walking for them, which can get a bit messy if they’re outside. They get overwhelmed easily sadly, they have a lot of sensory issues. They like to carry//drag their friends around.

I am so nervous for this man. We can’t see the fight happening and that might be the best idea from the sounds. I’m way too attached to this little maniac. They’re holding their own at least. Or at the very least royally pissing off the stitchwraith. They sound less scared or in pain and more angry. Probably cause of the interrupted spiel.

They didn’t immediately sell out rotrick which is surprising. Why wouldn’t they sell him out? So that at least the anger is split?
