During the day, Kenna is a mild-mannered art teacher who hones her skills by demonstrating them for hordes of unappreciative teenage minds who would probably prefer to use the watercolors as impromptu makeup supplies, or dare their buddy to eat them. At night, Kenna becomes KDX, who has worked on both the Kidgezine and Spellbound zine, as well as other freelance design projects.

If you did not get an email (or found a bug in the form) contact us immediately and we’ll figure out what went wrong. Acceptance Forms are due Saturday, September 15th!

You MUST submit your Acceptance Form by 11:59 PM Pacific Time (UTC-8) Saturday, September 15th to confirm that you have received and agree with this offer. If you do not submit this form by the deadline we will give your pages to someone else.

There is a link to the Kidge Zine discord server at the end of the Acceptance Form (if you choose to accept it) but in case the form is being silly (or if you didn’t apply but still love all things Kidge) you can jump into the general Kidge discord server (KidgeonPost) run by one of our staff (@katiekogane aka Quest) where you can usually find at least one of us hanging around.

If you applied as a Beta or for Merch we are still processing those applications. Betas will be notified after the 15th, once we know how many writers are confirmed. Merch will be a few weeks after that as we get a better idea of how much we can afford.

First piece done completely with my tablet!  Felt really good to make this though I definitely need to work on my stability when inking.

Getting better at tablet, but find it funny that my tablet work looks more like my traditional marker/colored pencil work. Finally found a sketch brush that works for me as well! Large version available on my DA.

I made this for this post but figured I should also post it as its own separate art post. I hope I did my noodle boy justice...he makes my pajamas look better than I do. All hail low slung softball sweats! *o* 

I think I like this more simple coloring style for everyday drawings.

(also I totally have that mug, figured it fit for Lancey-Lance!)

Since I’ve hit another artblock and been packing up items to move, thought I’d go ahead and post some of my older artwork from high school and college that I’ve unearthed.

I still want to finish that painting of Rose Tyler/Bad Wolf when I get the chance. Poor thing has been collecting dust on my shelf for a few years now. :(
