same! before i graduated i was studying both english and chinese because of the school system. i'm more comfortable with english than chinese. i can speak basic chinese but i do tend to mix english inside hahaha. i can't really think of chinese words because it is been 2 years since i last study for chinese but i guess i like "一个风和日丽” because i always use it for my essays-chinese anon
🤣 relatable... probably bc english is used more often (or at least, in my life haha)..
i haven’t been actively using chinese for about the same period too.. tbh i miss chinese lessons a lot bc that’s the only time i got to practice speaking, writing and listening chinese oof...
KDNDKKD MOOD another default we learnt was “一个太阳高照的”. i remember memorising other openings my teacher gave, but whenever i started to write, everything gets wiped out from my mind LOL...
descriptive essays are a whole new level. in our exams, we get to pick one essay to write out of three (descriptive, argumentative or reports). i always avoid the descriptive one 🤪🤪
for me, my favourite word is 凹凸 bc the meaning of the word is in the texture of the word... and it reminds me of tetris too which is fun heheh 😆
