Finally posting my original design of Jonathan Sims. When I first started The Magnus Archives I had already seen people’s preferred design of him but it took me a while to envision while listening to it. For me he was a mix of some of the characters I put in there but mainly Jon reminded me of Kazuyuki Asakawa from the novel Ring by Koji Suzuki. But he also was mean like Miles or Logan or like my old math teacher so he ended up changing a lot in my head. Then looking at fan art I got used to imagining Jon like how I draw him now.
