Two similar manga today - I finished the third and final volume of 'Strawberry Fields Once Again' where we got an extended digression into exactly what sort of time-travel nonsense has set everything up this way, Akira is lonely and has thoughts about choosing love, and everything comes together in the end for a happy ending. I also read 'The Whole of Humanity Has Gone Yuri Except for Me,' which collects its whole story in one volume. In short, Marika is a normal girl who is so shocked by the sight of her two friends kissing that she's taken to a parallel world where men don't exist at all, and meets a cool beauty with a secret crush who might help her figure out a way home... if she still wants to go back once they're done fake-dating. It's interesting to have read these back-to-back, and see their takes on different ways of examining worlds where things might have gone differently. 'Strawberry Fields' has their alternate paths created intentionally as part of a convoluted scheme to avoid a different heartbreak, and then fixing the regrets left after that was changed, and then trying to fix more regrets, until everything seems doomed and it's only Pure's insistence on chasing after her love that guides everything through to a hopeful resolution. 'Humanity Has Gone Yuri' has worlds that existed separately, until a chance cross-over reveals an affection that can't be denied and then you're left bending your life into a new shape. They're both fun, and they both have just enough techno-babble thrown in to make it fun to think about, without ever really losing sight of the core romance. I'd definitely suggest these as good to read together, for anyone interested.

Strawberry Fields Once Again
By Kazura Kinosaki
"I'll never have a 3D romance!" High schooler Akira loves otome games and refuses to have a 3D romance, so she's caught off-guard when the new transfer student suddenly declares that she is Akira's future lover! It's the start of the bittersweet story of two girls who are more than friends but less than lovers!
----
A Sweet Yuri Romance with a sci-fi twist. Pure is a very passionate individual, who has travelled back in time to make her Amore’s wish come true. Akira, while not canonically AroAce, does give off those vibes a lot of the time. Especially as she contemplates the nature of her relationship with Pure and what exactly she wants.
You could also read Pure as Demisexual, as Akira is the only person she’s ever loved (which led to her questioning her sexuality when that realization came to be). She grew up going to all-women schools, even in college, so she had romanticized men & relationships in her mind. Thinking of them as princes from fairy tales. However, in the end she fell in love with a woman who saved her, whom she bonded with, admired, and wanted to see happy.
TW: Attempted SA, one character has a crush on their cousin, death, illness, cheating, suicidal ideation

Strawberry Fields Once Again by Kinosaki Kazura
[dynasty-scans link]
Kouno Akira is a high school otaku who has sworn to never get involved with 3D love... but then a strange girl named Pure shows up, claiming to be her lover from the future, and starts turning her quiet life upside down. It’s a peculiar series to be sure, but that peculiarity is what draws me to it.
Unfortunately the scanlations haven’t been updated in over a year, but maybe, by mentioning my wish for the scanlations to update again, the universe will hear my pleas.

'Strawberry Fields Once Again' continues to be fun on two levels; I'm enjoying how well it goes between the one side, which is a light love story for an insecure person dealing with a sudden inexplicable affection, and the other, which is shaping up to be a melodramatic time-travel story about desperate actions in an unforgivable time-line.

The God and the Flightless Messenger by Hagi
A messenger's duty is to care for and protect the god they've been assigned to. In order to complete these tasks, such messengers require wings. Shin, however, can't fly. Determined to prove himself as a capable messenger despite his flightlessness, Shin accepts his assignment to a mysterious being on one of the nearby mountains. At first, it seems an easy task to keep his charge safe and happy — especially when the deity in question is just a cute, fluffy ball of fur. But things aren't always what they seem. Recently, messengers flying over the strange god's mountain have been disappearing. Even as suspicion mounts against his deity, Shin just can't bring himself to think that such a gentle god could have a dark side. It's strange, but for some reason... the mysterious, fluffy being feels so familiar to him.

'Strawberry Fields Once Again' is a cute manga about Akira Kouno, a high school girl who acquires a beautiful and clingy girlfriend out of nowhere, throwing a serious loop into her expected lonely life. Also, the girlfriend is a time-traveler from the future, which means I spent all the cute antics in a state of 'WTF is happening?', even more so than the protagonist appears to be. I maybe can't speak for the rest of you, but I know that high-school me would not have been together enough to deal with any of my adult relationships, let alone would twenty-four-year-old me want to date the seven-year-previous version of any of my S.O.'s - so what happened here?! Is the world ending, and making Akira less of a loner going to stop Skynet from rising up? Is the girlfriend escaping some tragic anime disease, since we find out in the bath scene that this is actually her younger body? Does the story even care, or is it just going to keep throwing out strange little bits of stuff? Who knows!? We're apparently going to stay firmly in Akira's viewpoint, where it's cute in a wish-fulfillment magically-devoted-girlfriend way, so I'll let you know once I see the next volume.
Can a Magic card do this? I don't know that abilities on cards in your library are 'accessible' this way... On the other hand, you should know that at least the card exists in the library somewhere, even if its exact location is a mystery, so I don't see why it wouldn't be theoretically possible.
