Introducing: Kazoone!

Kazoone is a music producer and artist who strongly focuses on lo-fi and hip-hop instrumentals. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, his portfolio includes the highly successful project "Charlie Boulala," which took off with more than 40 million streams on Spotify. Even 11 years on, his songs still gets over 300,000 monthly listeners, highlighting the artist's enduring power.

This is only a small example of how Kazoone continued to build a strong following, maintaining a dedicated listener base that he kept growing throughout the span of a decade and counting. He wants to inspire and encourage people to relax and take a step back from the pressure and stress of their daily routine, hopefully finding refuge in the melodies and rhythms of his compositions. The fact that Kazoone loves to rely on the warmth of analog-style sonics is actually amazing in that regard as well.

There is nothing wrong with the computer and digital sounds, but analog instruments and equipment (or even their respective digital emulations, which today have reached a high level of quality and realism) lend the music a very distinctive aura: a special feeling that's quite hard to pin down. The human-like qualities of analog-style sounds, with all the little imperfections and quirks, add so much more density to the whole listening experience, making the mixes all the more relatable and non-linear. There is a certain aseptic sheen to pure digital mixes with no coloration, but this is not the case with Kazoone, who loves to use analog colors to paint a very vivid musical picture, much like an impressionist painter would explore the many possibilities of a blank canvas. Lo-fi instrumental tracks are the perfect vehicle for this particular approach to music, as these songs lend themselves beautifully to analog sonics. People who are really into music production should follow the artist on Instagram, where he often shares a lot of insights into his production techniques and workflow.

The music crafted by Kazoone is a perfect fit for people who love hip-hop and who appreciate instrumental compositions, or simply want to take a break from rap songs with lyrics but still get that hip-hop vibe every once in a while. I would try in the convention groups, actually. There are groups on FB for each Creation convention. (Search for Salute to Supernatural, or Supernatural Nashville, or something like that and you'll find those groups.) Besides that, there are other SPN groups on FB that would probably be better than the marketplace. (Off the top of my head, a friend just started a new group called I'm Trash for J2. I know there are more, but I can't remember the names.) Just make sure that the rules of the group you decide to join don't state no selling. Each group has different rules since they're run by fans like us. And if you have any Louden Swain-related items, I can send you to three groups on FB that would definitely be interested. Louden Swain Trash, Swainer Circle, and #KazooNation. If any of the items were purchased from Stands, you can join their UpStandsing group, which was created specifically for people to resell or swap Stands items people no longer want.

Finally, there's always eBay and other auction sites and the like. I keep seeing ads for Mercari, too, but haven't searched their site to see if they have a lot of SPN stuff.

The Delta Flyers podcast mentions how weak Kazoon’s are as an enemy because of all the little details that don’t fit together.

They are presented as a dangerous enemy to Voyager and they have ships but on the other hand they have no water or food and their medical care is primitive (all things we learn through out the seasons).

Does that mean that their ships are also kinda crappy and the only reason they captured Voyager was Seska? Or that they focused all of their resources/currency into their ship and being scary that they ended up neglecting their people’s well-being?
