Legendary Director/Choreographer Corey Yuen's death has been confirmed by Tin Kai-man, spokesperson for the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers: 'Around two years, ago, [he] passed away from Covid, but this was not made public per his family's wishes.'

Search terms like “stay-at-home girlfriend” (37.3 million views), “life as a stay-at-home girlfriend” (37.8 million views), “stay at home GF” (36.2 million views), and “SAHG” (34 million views) are increasingly popular on TikTok. The trend has been featured in recent pieces in the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal, the latter of which attributed it to “a Gen Z move away from mid-2000s ‘girl boss’ hustle culture, and toward aspirations of a softer life.” Some of the SAHGs describe their lifestyle in similar, seemingly progressive language: “People used to ask me, ‘What’s your dream job?’ I never knew the answer. I realized it’s because I don’t dream of labor. I dream of living a soft, feminine life and being a hot housewife. It’s as simple as that,” says influencer Kendel Kay (@kendelkay) in a video with 1.6 million views from September 2023.

But as some of the comments on these TikToks vocally point out, the life of a SAHG is risky, to say the least. “It’s all well and good until he breaks up with you,” wrote one. Enter: the side of SAHG TikTok you don’t see—the post-breakup videos warning you of the financial and emotional risks that come with this lifestyle. They might not be as sparkly or aspirational (which might explain why they don’t have as many views), but they’re just as real and important. And if you’re going to surrender financial independence to become a SAHG, you should go into it with clarity about what could happen if the relationship ends.

One of the most popular SAHG breakup videos comes from beauty and lifestyle influencer Bella Greenlee (@zizzysizzle). “Coming as somebody who has been a stay-at-home girlfriend for three years, it’s not the life you want,” Greenlee says in the video. “If he is paying for your whole life and you don’t have any income at all, there will start to be resentment. I’m just glad that I was young, I didn’t have any kids, I was not married, and I was able to start my life before I wasted more years just staying in the house.” With over 3.2 million views, Greenlee’s video has been stitched time and time again, with some people agreeing with her, and others arguing that a man’s role should be to provide financially. When I chat with Greenlee over Zoom, she stands behind what she said in her video, “If you give a man the power to feed you, he also has the power to starve you.”

Greenlee says that becoming a SAHG was “something that slowly happened.” She and her ex started dating in the early days of COVID, when she was unemployed. As their relationship got more serious, she became financially dependent on him. To her followers, everything looked rosy. “I would post ‘my day in the life,’ videos, so it would be cleaning or making breakfast,” Greenlee says. “Everybody was thinking I was living this really peaceful, happy life.” But in reality, she says, “I would clean the house more than I had to, just to keep myself entertained. I didn’t really have a lot to do, so I was kind of going crazy.” The fact that she was relying on her then-boyfriend financially meant that, as she says, “I kind of felt like I had to walk on eggshells because I knew that he had the power to take away my whole life if he wanted to. I felt like I didn’t have a voice in the relationship.”

The situation really sunk in when Greenlee discovered her ex was cheating. “It was really hard for me to be like, Oh, I’m gonna leave like a regular woman would, because he was funding my whole life, so I couldn’t just leave like that,” she says. “I really had to make a game plan for myself.”

Ari Luu (@yoohooits.ariluu) has also been documenting her experience of reinventing her life on TikTok. As she puts it on her podcast Delusional Daydreams, “I have no car, I have no job, I have no money, because to be quite honest, for the past three and a half years, I’ve been a stay-at-home girlfriend. I was put in this position to stay at home, be taken care of, and really be the support system for my partner. And by doing so, I gave away everything I had. And now I am absolutely left with nothing.” (...) When Luu first began dating her ex, she explored a variety of self-employment career paths, none of which ended up working out. Her then-partner was making enough to support them both, and he’d just bought a condo. Luu moved in. “That’s kind of how it started,” she tells me on Zoom. “He was really supportive throughout my whole journey, just like I was supportive in helping him advance in his career. The only difference was I wasn’t making money.”

Financial expert Farnoosh Torabi (...) is, to put it lightly, not a fan of the stay-at-home girlfriend trend. “I think it's one of the ultimate financial scams,” she says, pointing out that while stay-at-home wives often have financial protections in the event of a divorce, like spousal support and equitable division of assets acquired during the marriage, stay-at-home girlfriends don’t. “I think if you believe in feminism, it also means that you have to care about your financial well-being,” she says. “Money is power. Money is protection. When you don’t have it, and your boyfriend has it, you don’t have power. You don’t have protection. What happens when you go from being a stay-at-home girlfriend to just a stay-at-home girl?” (...)

It’s exactly because of the lack of power that stay-at-home girlfriends are at a high risk for financial abuse. “When you don’t have any say in where the money goes in the household, and there’s an emphasis on you not working, that is extremely dangerous,” Torabi says. “Suddenly, you may not have permission to go buy what you want, and you have to start asking for everything. Money becomes used as a tool to dominate you. I see this happening a lot. When one person isn’t working, they have less power and less say. Basically it was handmaiden’s tale but the opposite? Women were heavily guarded and protected. Men with wives had a higher status. Depending on her family line, they had more power. Women could have multiple husbands or simply lovers. Each husband she was given a government transfer payment, with a limit of 4.

Reader was a socially awkward virgin baker who got sick of old money assholes bothering her, she decided to ask Sebastian and Kai (Bucky and Steve) to be her partners. They would get better pay at their jobs and she could be left the fuck alone. She has some autistic tendencies and control issues.

But it was a veryyyyy much a slow burn. Set in Savannah Ga.

It was so much fun to write during Covid. Idk if it’ll ever see the light of day.

Women didn’t need to rear children but if she donated her eggs or was a surrogate for a woman who had fertility issues, they were pretty much set for life financially. Some men were still vulgar (no world is perfect) so the talk of breeding is what made the OFC say “fuck that, y’all wanna get married and not fucking do that?”

GURL WHERE DO I GET STARTED THERES 55 CHAPTERS AND 450+ PAGES- ummmm ok let’s see- we’ll start w the basics to get the ball rolling 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Now I don’t wanna hear a single thing about how my oc’s name is Aurora… I will mention rq that when I first started writing this back in Oct 2023, I did it alone, but then in Jan/Feb of this year, my friend made an oc named Kay and we decided to add her to the book— but my friend was kinda uncomfy writing about real ppl so we changed everyone’s names 😀 (it took so long). Here, I’ll just reference their real names so there’s no confusion, but if you see me tagging posts as “Jace thoughts” then it’s about this book, cuz we changed Johnny to Jace 🤝 ok let us go on w the plot.

Aurora started working as the boys’ new manager in 2018 after their previous one came under fire for treating the boys poorly in public. They hired Aurora cuz she’s trilingual (English, Japanese, and Korean). She went to school and worked in Japan, so she already had an in w/ entertainment in Korea, but applying to SM was lowkey just a meme to her, she didn’t think she’d actually get the job or have to move to Seoul. Welp! How the turn tables turned.

Anyhow, because she’s fluent in Japanese, Yuta IMMEDIATELY is like “you’re my friend now 😁” while the other boys take time to come around. And Aurora’s fine w that cuz they’re supposed to be coworkers anyhow— well technically she’s their boss lmao. But Taeyong is the next to get close w her because they do so much work together. Aurora recognizes that in order to make everything work like a well-oiled machine, she needs input from the boys, a voice from them to relay to the execs because she’s always just getting orders and the boys are never able to express how they feel about that. So her and Taeyong become like the mom and the dad of the group. She attends their practices, even if it’s just her sitting in the corner while she does work on her laptop. She’s at every single one of their events. And she gets Taeyong into important meetings so that he can be the boys’ voice rather than playing a game of telephone. It’s really nice. And to really encourage the boys to stay close with each other and whatnot, she yoinks the idea of the Dreamies’ friendship ring by buying the 127 boys matching small green pendant necklaces— But she knows that she’s not close enough with them yet for them to take the necklaces seriously if she gives them, so she asks Taeyong to take the credit instead. And it works. The boys wear the necklaces every single day, and Taeyong feels guilty as hell for taking the credit but Aurora always just laughs and reassures him that this is what she wants. Taeyong introduces Aurora to Ten, and the three of them become a lil clique. Meanwhile Yuta’s hogging Aurora by always hugging her, hanging out at her apartment, sleeping in her bed, etc etc. they’re very close. So close that when they get drunk together in her bed one night, they start making out, and he rolls on top, and she’s CERTAIN they’re gonna fuck until they stop and go “ya we’re just friends 🤝” lmaoooo

Anyhow. When COVID hits, Aurora and Johnny start to play video games and watch anime together because those are interests they share. They start to get closer, which is nice to Aurora because they were never really close before this. She always just thought of him as the frat boy type who spends his time seeing models outside of work and not the otaku kid who sits in vc with her from the minute they wake up to the time they fall asleep. During the Resonance era, Aurora’s meeting with all of the NCT boys to coordinate subunits, and the execs let her run these meetings irl (bless up) so when Johnny comes in, they talk shop for a bit til out of fucking NOWHERE this man goes “so what kind of guys are you into” 🙄 ok bud. Chill. But Aurora explains briefly that she likes guys with long dyed hair… She doesn’t care about things like eye color or height or weight or anything else like that. This mf goes “so are you into Yuta?” And she nearly falls out of her chair laughing bc no she’s not into Yuta, they established that quite a while ago. Anyhow! As Resonance era goes on, Aurora notices that Johnny’s growing out his hair?? And then he dyes it randomly one day without permission from the company, and he calls to brag about it???? Aurora calls Ten for the inside scoop….. which he doesn’t have, but she begs him to find out why the hell Johnny is doing this?? He’s being so weird recently! “Have you stopped to consider he likes you?” “What? No! Johnny’s the type to date models, to fly to different countries to fuck the prettiest women who are falling at his feet. He’s not looking at….. me.” “Aurora, he stopped fucking around back when you joined the company” HUHHH. Anyhow. Ten still does NAWT get the inside scoop, but that doesn’t matter, cuz when Chenle hosts a secret listening party of the album at his house, Johnny finally gets the balls to ask out Aurora and she says yes— And all the boys start trading around money. Apparently they took bets on whether or not he’d ever get around to it…..

Ok we’ve only just scratched the surface, but I’ve yapped a lot here so lmk what else you guys wanna know!! I can summarize more plot. Or I can talk about Aurora’s character, or her relationship/dynamic with the boys. Throughout the book, she’s close with different ppl, but the notable ones are Johnny. Taeyong, Yuta, Haechan (because of my other oc who he starts dating), Renjun, and Ten. I can talk about my Hyuck x oc plot line too— It’s childhood best friends reunited later in life and fall in love. Or I have 2 guy ocs, Haneul and Shiwoo who I can talk about. Shiwoo ends up w Renjun 🫣 Or there’s my friend’s oc, Kay, who starts w having a fwb relationship w Yuta until she starts dating Mark. She messy fr 😂

This post is inspired by the second episode of Kimball Anderson's podcast, "By The Wayside," which is entitled "High Risk - Greg." So far there are only two episodes of this podcast available, but I would absolutely recommend giving them both a listen; each one is only a bit over twenty minutes long. The following will contain tws for: transphobia (and internalized transphobia), internalized biphobia/lesbophobia, identity struggles, COVID-19, etc. It is more of a general, rambling post, but I will do my best to make sense as to what this episode made me feel.

"High Risk - Greg" is the fictional (but realistic) story of a disabled gay man navigating the new world created by the COVID-19 pandemic. He struggles in a world that is uncaring towards him and his medical condition, and a family that supports him but... not all the way. In addition, he has new feelings about his girlfriend, Kay -- who, up until recently in the story, he knew as his boyfriend. When Kay starts to transition, Greg supports her. However, he is unsure of what this now means for his own identity, and struggles with the fear that HIS identity and health problems are holding her back from who SHE is truly meant to be.

This story really hit me deeply. One of my ex-partners (who I no longer have contact with and therefore don't know the true extent of their identity changes) started transitioning while we had been dating.

At that point, before they came out to me as a trans man, I was fairly certain that I was a lesbian. I had multiple failed high school relationships with multiple boyfriends, and since I was a "late bloomer" into realizing I was queer at all... I just figured that maybe I wasn't actually bi at all either. After all, I had conflicting feelings towards all my past boyfriends, not helped by the fact that the last longterm one had been emotionally abusive, and the one I dated for two weeks over a summer term tried to get me drunk, alone with him, in his apartment.

On the drive home to my family for winter holidays, I cried while they slept in the passenger seat. Was I wrong about myself? Was I wrong to them for not knowing if I would still feel attraction towards them if they went through with transitioning? Was my identity not as solid as I needed it to be?

The relationship did not end on a happy note like "Greg." I switched back to the lesbian label after they broke it off, even though I was still unsure if that was what really fit me. I remember them venting about it on their blog, and feeling horrible but also angry (definitely immaturely). I didn't do it to hurt them; I did it because I was trying to find myself.

This is a process that has never become easier for me.

I think back on that relationship sometimes, especially today because of this podcast episode, and I wish I could've done things better. I wish I could've magically known who I was, or how to navigate awkward young adult queer relationships. That wasn't the case, and it will never be the case, but I can't help but wish I somehow had the answers.

I really appreciate Kimball for making such a thoughtful series so far, and I'm excited to hear more episodes in the future. It definitely hurts to have to reflect on past failures, and what they mean about me as a person, but I think it is truly important as a way to figure out who I actually am.

Mackenzie was sitting in the living room of the dorm room she shared with her lifelong best friend and field hockey teammate Kaylee Johnson, waiting for Kaylee to get back from the store so they could get ready for the party happening at one of the frat houses. The girls on the field hockey team had decided to throw a late party to celebrate their wins last weekend and Mackenzie’s up coming birthday on the 21st, they couldn’t celebrate last weekend due to back to back games. Mackenzie wasn’t sure why but she had a weird feeling that something was going to happen at the party, Was it a good feeling or a bad feeling? Mackenzie wasn’t sure.

Suddenly Mackenzie’s phone started ringing, reaching for her phone she saw a familiar name across the screen “Pookie💜”. Answering immediately Mackenzie was instantly greeted, “Hey Kenz, how’s my favourite sister?” “… I’m your only sister Skylar but I’m good just waiting for Kaylee to get back from the store, we’re going to a party tonight to celebrate our wins” “Oh Kaylee!!! Tell her I said hello and I miss her!” “I will, how was school?” “ Oh you know boring as usual, I got 97% in that US history test I was studying for last night on call” “97%!! See I told you! You had nothing to worry about!” After catching up with her sister for a half hour, Mackenzie finally said goodbye. “Right Sky I’ll let you go now, you’ve still gotta walk Nerf before Mom comes home.” “You say walk but it’s more like chase him around the house for 15 minutes because he won’t let me put his harness on” “If you sit on the floor he’ll let you do it, that’s what I do when I’m home but have fun and be safe. Remember to message me when your home so I know your safe.” “ I will, have fun at the party and be safe! I love you Bambi” “ I love you more Pookie bye.”

As soon as Mackenzie hung up, the door opened and in walked Kaylee arms full with various bags. Kenzie rushed over to help before she dropped anything. “Kay you’ve been gone for ages, I thought I was gonna have to send out a search party” Kenzie giggled, Kaylee huffed and rolled her eyes “ If you were gonna miss me so much you should have come with me.” “I couldn’t, I was waiting for my daily dose of Skylar” Mackenzie replied, instantly smiling at the thought of her younger sister. “Oh yeah!! Did she call already? Did I miss our little ray of sunshine?” Kaylee replied sounding a little sad. “Yeah she just hung up, she told me to tell you she said hi and she misses you” Kenzie said still smiling before adding “and on that note I’m heading for the shower, wanna put our nashville playlist on? I don’t know about you but I’m missing home a little more today.” And with that Kenzie left to shower. After washing her hair and shaving her legs, Mackenzie left the shower shouting for Kaylee to let her know it was free before heading to her room to get ready. Mackenzie had decided to go fairly simple with her outfit tonight, opting for a black spaghetti strap dress which reached her mid thigh, a denim jean jacket and some white air force. Mackenzie then went into the kitchen to make Kaylee and herself a drink, keeping it simple with a Malibu and cola, she brought them into her room knowing Kaylee liked Kenzie to do her makeup for her in the same way Kenzie liked Kaylee to do her hair.

After sipping her drink and seating herself in her desk chair, Kenzie started her makeup occasionally stopping to reply in the “Powerpuff Girls❤️” groupchat that consisted of Mackenzie, Kaylee, Olivia, Freya and Maddy the other girls on the team that considered themselves best friends, and to sing along to the playlist. At some point Kaylee had joined wearing a pale blue skirt and crop top co-ord and white air forces, sitting next to Kenzie starting on her hair as Kenzie finished her makeup, soon the girls were swapping places and before they knew it, it was time to add the finishing touches as they waited for the Uber Kaylee had ordered. Kenzie spraying perfume and putting on her jewellery and Kaylee spraying hairspray and making sure she had everything in her bag.

The girls arrived at the party fashionably late as usual, greeting the rest of the team and a few of the frat boys they were close friends with, the party was already in full swing. People dancing in the living room, there was a bouncy castle in the backyard and beer pong, a few deck chairs for people to chill outside on. As Kenzie and Kaylee made their way to the kitchen, they walked past 3 boys who’d they’d never seen before. Granted this was a college party there were bound to be students they didn’t know here but with being on the field hockey team the girls prided themselves on knowing the majority of people here tonight. As they passed them, one boy in particular caught Mackenzie’s eye, he wasn’t as tall as the other guys he was with but he was definitely taller than her. He had the most mesmerising blue eyes that Kenzie couldn’t help but feel drawn to them, his hair was a little long but he pulled it off and without a second thought Mackenzie locked eyes with him, gave him a small smile and a little wave before heading into the kitchen.

“Kenzie you dirty dog, I saw you checking that boy out” a familiar voice called out, turning around instantly Mackenzie saw Freya, instantly pulling her into a bear hug, Kenzie replied “Frey sweets did you see him, that boy was something else. I might talk to him later if I see him again.” Freya smiled widely at her friend, “you absolutely should, but don’t forget our plan to run to Vegas, elope and become the weird lesbian aunts!!” Kenzie full belly laughed at that and teasingly replied “oh how could I ever forget that plan gorgeous.” Both girls giggled before making themselves a drink, Kenzie also made one for Kaylee as she was too busy chatting to Maddy and Olivia.

The girls were stood off to the corner of the living room with a few of the frat boys. Jaden had his arm slung around Freya, as they chatted amongst themselves about the games last week, that was until Kenzie felt a slight tap on her shoulder at first she thought that someone had just poked her by accident on their way past as she was facing toward the wall but she felt it again with a slight excuse me thrown in there. Kenzie turned around with furrowed eyebrows to be met with the cute boy from earlier, she instantly replaced the furrowed eyebrows with a bright smile, “Hey gorgeous, how can I help ya?” Kenzie spoke first, smirking slightly when she saw a faint flush to the boys cheeks. “Hey I was just wondering if you wanted to maybe dance for a little?” The boy replied. “Of course sweets, what’s ya name?” “Oh right, I’m Jack. Jack Hughes” “Well Jack Hughes, I’m Mackenzie Havener, lead the way” Kenzie gave a quick look to her group smiling to them and nodding to the boys to reassure them that she would be ok, quickly leaning in to speak to Jaden “I’ll stay where you guys can see me and if I get into any trouble I’ll follow our usual procedure” and with that Mackenzie was following Jack into the crowd.

The procedure Mackenzie was referring to was simple, if any of the girls or boys for that matter felt unsafe or uncomfortable they would either message the groupchat they all had if they could, tap their nose three times or speak up if within ear shot and ask whomever they were with if they liked family guy. The last one was kinda random which is why it worked as it’s not something any of them would ask someone.

As Jack and Mackenzie made their way to the dance floor, dancing along to the music Mackenzie wrapped both arms around the back of Jacks neck as his rested at a respectful level on her small waist. Every time Mackenzie would try to talk to Jack she’d have to step on her tip toes or Jack would have to lean down due to the height difference. After spending an hour or so on the dance floor, the pair made their way to the kitchen to grab a drink and head outside as Kenzie had spotted the Scooby Gang as she liked to call them heading that way. Making it outside Kenzie saw the girls on the bouncy castle, running quickly she kicked her shoes off and dove on top of Olivia and Maddy. Jack walked over laughing slightly and looking mesmerised at the sight of the gorgeous girl laughing with her friends without a care in the world. “Our Kenz is something special aye?” Jack was drawn out of his day dream by a voice next to him looking over he saw a tall boy with blonde hair and kind green eyes smiling at him. Cody must have noticed the confused look on Jacks face. “Oh sorry, I’m Cody. I’m best friends with those bunch of lunatics.” Cody chuckled and so did Jack. “I’m Jack, nice to meet you. Are they all this crazy?” Cody laughed harder at that, “oh sweet innocent Jack you don’t know the half of it.” Jack went to reply before a voice as sweet as sugar interrupted “Cody can you take a picture of us” Kenzie asked smiling brightly. “Of course Kenny-bear” Cody replied reaching for her phone.

Soon after the bouncy castle the party was starting to slow, and after multiple attempts made by Cody, Jaden, Hunter, Chase and Preston for the girls to stay here for tonight. The girls were leaving in Ubers, all accept Kaylee and Kenzie who were still waiting, Kaylee wrapped in Preston’s arms for warmth and Jack and Mackenzie chatting away they’d exchanged Instagrams and numbers and had even arranged a date, “Hey Mackenzie, would you like to maybe hang out again sometime? Maybe go get brunch next Saturday?” Jack asked nervously, he wouldn’t normally be this forward with someone he just met especially since he was worried girls would just use him because of his career path and family name but with Mackenzie it felt different. He felt he could be himself, he was drawn to her like a magnet. “Jack you can call me Kenzie or Kenz I really don’t mind, and yeah I’d love to, message me when and I’ll be there” she replied giving him a warm smile and with that she was giving him a hug and kiss on the cheek as their Uber had arrived. Just like Jack, Mackenzie felt drawn to him, like a moth to a flame, she couldn’t describe it but as she hugged him she felt like a blot of lightning struck her it was an addictive feeling that she wished would never go.

Skip to August 4th 2020

This was officially the best day of Mackenzie’s life, after the party her and Jack had talked more, FaceTimed whilst he was away or she was away, went on numerous dates around New Jersey but right in this very moment, after another date at a local diner Jack had officially asked Mackenzie to be his. “Kenzie, I don’t know what to say other than the fact that meeting you that night was the best thing to ever happen to me. You’re such a ray of sunshine, I’ve never met anyone as beautiful inside and out, talented, amazing, passionate and loving as you. So I want to ask you this because hell we both know it’s long over due, will you be my girlfriend?” Mackenzie didn’t even reply she just threw herself at him smiling brightly and kissing him, “Of course Jack, of course I’ll be your girl.”

I wanted to redo a lot of her refs since I felt like there was wayyyy too much red in some of them for my liking, especially season 8 and season 10 ….. Idk if the ones i’m talking about are on this blog and if not trust me they were very red. I also wanted to refrain from looking like Kai so her fits are more on the darker side????? LAST POST OF 2023 (A disclaimer, next few paragraphs is just me talking about life in general so feel free to skip if you like to)

Hi, my name is Kay. Though many of you here know me simply as “O” (it was kind of a pun for closer moots, cuz K.O.) But I don’t mind going by either, or K.O. for that matter.

Anyways, this year has been eventful, to say the least. It had its ups and it had its downs. I’m trying to figure out what to write here, actually. Got Covid for the first time, went to MoNH for the first time in forever, got to laugh with friends, lost a loved one, celebrated my 24th birthday, did Paint Night for the first time, got up to 22 chapters (hopefully 23 soon) of a long going passion project I hope to complete in the future.

I won’t lie, this year was nowhere as great as last year, both on my platform and in person. Now I try to avoid complaining about this a lot but my Instagram account took a blow this year, whether it was due to the algorithm changing or my lack of motivation, likely both. My account is my passion, I’ve been raising it since 2016 and when it tanked this time, it was really concerning because by this time I would somehow bounce back and I never did, I still never did. I would also like to mention that it wasn’t just me that got hit, but other fellow artists as well and for those guys if you’re reading this, this is for you: Never give up on your art, your writing, or just passions in general(unless they cause harm on yourself or others). The lack of exposure can be daunting, trust me it feels terrible, but it will never change how great an artist you are.

As for my personal life, I won’t get into much detail but for those that know, a really big thing happened earlier this year and it really impacted me. It was also a reality check for my health because I wasn’t taking care of my body and I was making myself scared about it and it just felt like a never ending cycle. I’ve been trying to make healthier choices, I take meds now again for my hyperlipidemia, exercise more(which I gotta get back on since I stopped when I got Covid) and cut back my calorie intake. Not only has it dropped my cholesterol(which is the main goal) but I was able to lose almost 30 pounds since the end of May(which will also help lower my cholesterol). I’ve been treating my anxiety as well and it has been much better than it was from late October to mid November when it took a nosedive from getting sick constantly. Right now, I think I’m in okay phase of my life, just working and trying to draw and write as much as I can. I wanna thank those who stuck around this year, I wish I could’ve posted more art and chapters, but hey, always room for this year.

Xiumin: He’d definitely be the type to wait until outside of school hours before trying to talk to her, mabybe accidently bumping into her outside of the gates when she’s walking home so he could make conversation so there’s really no one around to watch and make fun, just to make her comfortable.

Suho: He’d be the type to try and get her involved in class activities, being really patient with her, just so she has the chance to come out of her shell a little. He’d even offer to do homework and study with her just so she has someone to talk to/ hang out with if she wants to. 

Lay: He’d be the type to admire from a distance for sure, scared that if he tries to say or do anything he’d scare her off from him. But this doesn’t stop him smiling her and being the politest and kindest towards her when she’s in close proximity.

Baekhyun: He’d definitely be battling with his nerves and being shy for sure but that won’t stop him from making conversations any given moment he could. She walks into class and takes her seat? He asks her how her day went the day before, definitely also be the type to hand her little notes to make her smile. 

Chen: He’d be the class clown for sure, and will always make sure that he captures her smiling and laughing at him when he does something. OR. He’d be the type to cut in line when getting food just so he could suggest something to her and try to be slick that way. 

Chanyeol: He’d definitely be the type to make people laugh regardless and be so polite to everyone. The trope of the girl dropping her bellongings and him helping her pick them up or do general acts of kindess so she takes notice of him would be his way of trying to get to her. 

D.O: He’d be the type to admire from the distance, for sure. Especially in the library and notice she’s on her own a lot. Part of him would want to go over and talk to her about her studies, whilst the other wants him to leave her be just in case he wasn’t her type.

Kai: He’d definitely be the type to try and impress her despite being extremely shy about it. Would try and be slick by offering everyone to join his dance classes but would try and spend more time talking to her about it, telling her that he’d think she’d do so well.

Sehun: He’d be the type to slowly start teasing her because he likes her, but would be giggly and shy even if she looks his way. The teasing wouldn’t huge but like would ruffle her hair when walking past, or just hanging out by her locker and refusing to move but will anyway because she smiles at him.
