I like playing with the idea of the Laytons getting invited to like some fancy gala thing and they all get like an extra to bring a friend

And Alfendi and Kat get invited because ✨Nepotism ✨ same with Flora and Luke, Lucy and Ernest are invited by Alfendi and Kat

Alfendi was actually planning on not going mostly because he didn't have a suit that wasn't I'll fitting, till Lucy excitedly offered to help him shop for one.

Lucy went to buy herself a dress before helping him find a suit, she got distracted easily by a pretty green dress on display after that it was time for the main course ,finding a suit. Lucy believing Alfendi's favorite color was blue naturally picked him out a blue dress shirt to go with the rest of the ensemble but right before paying Alfendi swapped it out with a green one to match Lucy's dress when she was once again distracted.

Leading to this cute scenario which he did not expect , he's used to being the one making the first move :) but he's not complaining about the kiss

I regularly lose my mind over the fact that their relationship would be pretty undefined outside of Ernest deciding to be her assistant. I also think it would get more fuzzy than that over time as they get to know and care about each other more. Especially since neither of them would just bring it up normally.

(This also applies to Sherl, but this comic isn't about him)

Also, Ernest and Emiliana friendship is amazing. It took me a bit to get her expression in character while not looking genuinely annoyed.

And the page's quote makes the comic funnier, I think:

I unlocked more colors and I fixed Katrielle, Alfendi, and Lucy. I realized that I gave them the wrong eyes so now they match with their Miitopia counterparts.
