“Let me look at your hand,” she says, standing in the threshold of the door that leads out to the ramparts from Leliana’s tower.  The sun is setting, casting violent colors throughout the perch that the spymaster and her flock of birds call home.  When Katherine steps inside, her shadow reaches Leliana first as light spills out into room from the absence she has created.  The templar approaches, imposing her presence so that it is clear she will not leave without concession. “You are an archer, Leliana.  Let me see your hand.”
