linkin park – friendly fire (2024) as someone who listened to linkin park almost exclusively from the age of 9 to 14 and then had to take a huge hiatus from the band in 2017 (or i’d get too sad), i'm very :') about this release

chappell roan – good luck, babe! (2024) jules wrote “WHO amongst us isn’t listening to this” and i can only say, so true (also no. 2 on my list!)

marianas trench – your ghost (2019) i love songs about ghosts & this is one of the best ones

kate bush – running up that hill (deal with god) (1985) i originally put this on bc i was having kristen applebees feelings & then i’d suddenly listened to it 6 times on repeat

fall out boy – fake out (2023) i can never ever decide what my favourite fob song is, but this one is on my top 3 for so much (for) stardust

carly rae jepsen – run away with me (2015) in my heart i am always listening to crj

hozier – too sweet (2024) it's so good !!! my fave line is “if you can sit in a barrel, maybe i’ll wait”

paramore – burning down the house (2024) i love the original version of the song & i think paramore absolutely nails it (everyone go listen to it!)

jeff rosenstock – liked u better (2023) my fave line is from the chorus, “i liked you better / when you weren’t on my mind”, & i have def felt this way about various crushes before

metric – help, i’m alive (2009) this is because i got a very stressful work e-mail recently lmao (and it reminds me of one of my d&d characters heh heh)

Can you imagine all the catching up they're gonna do? All that hot, sweaty sex they'll be having. And all the pillow talk and vulnerability and Kate is going to keep telling Lucy that she loves her and maybe Lucy will have to shut her up with some more kisses again. And they'll be so happy and in love and they're not gonna be able to keep it all in. I bet Kate is feeling so on top of the world right now, she got the girl! And Lucy is so going to love all the PDA she's gonna get from her ✨gf✨ because now that she's made peace with being out in front of everyone, Kate will not want to let go of Lucy's hand, will always wanna give her a peck on the cheek every chance she gets. They're gonna be insufferably in love and the team is gonna have to look away in embarrassment every time they're in the same room. And wait til they're all alone together. Ooh ooh clandestine makeout sessions at work?? Heheheh

I'm actually a little disappointed they never showed the two of them rejoining the party as a couple in Jane's house where everyone will be like "Ayyy look who's decided to join us! Lovebirds!!" and they will be beaming from ear to ear like newlyweds, accepting congratulations from everyone and Kate will be so attentive to Lucy as she deserves. All the looks they're gonna give each other even when they're apart that says they're saving the best part for when they're alone. And when the day is done, they will go home together, doesn't matter whose place is it, as long as they're together it's home. 😊 And this is all just the beginning, I can't wait to see what's in store for them.

I fully agree with everything you’re saying here. I love how these two have such SIZZLING chemistry and also clearly have so many big beautiful feelings for each other. It would’ve been cool to have seen them rejoining the crowd but alas, we’ll just have to imagine it!!

Also, I’m soooo excited to see their dynamic in season 2 cuz I think it’s going to be familiar but also different from what we’ve seen so far. We got to see it a little bit, I think, in 1x10 when they went on that adorable date. But I’m ready for MORE hehe 🌞🌞🌻🌻✌😎😎✌
