US Weekly Spring 2017 (Omit's employer)
"What Meghan Wants, Meghan MANIFESTS"
Soho House "consultant" Markus Anderson introduced MM & Harry at Soho House in June
April 7th was her "final" website blog post as she expects a fall 2017 engagement to Harry
Edward Lane Fox & Jason Knauf are on call to answer her queries "having access to Harry's aides has been a godsend"
"She's very much been accepted into the family. They are so happy to see Harry happy."
Wills & Kate provide an empathetic ear & "tips on managing life in the royal spotlight..." they are "the only two people in the world who understand her exact situation"
She will attend Tornoto Invictus with Harry: "Come late September, the twosome will make their very public debut in the Canadian city. Meghan will be by his side. It's a safe, controlled situation and there's a legitimate reason for Meghan to be there in a supportive role. It just makes sense."
Like Wills, Sparry will receive a Dukedom upon marriage. His bride will be Duchess of Sussex and "any kids will be dubbed lords or ladies."
Invite me to Pippa's wedding! "Meghan Markle has reportedly asked for time off from filming Suits"
Clapbacks at the Palace Aides here & during Mockumentary
MEgain showed up "on time" at a Toronto flower mart wearing an M H necklace to meet British paparazzi Jasel. He later reported that she posed and orchestrated the entire "photo shoot." Palace aides were angry, and reported to Sparry that "she's enjoying it."
"Last fall she had reporters capturing her every move...she felt like smiling & being pleasant...unfortunately for her, people interpreted that as her loving the attention. Now she keeps a neutral expression when snapped on the streets of London or heading to the gym in Toronto."
Envious of Kate. More Clapbacks via Oprah & Mockumentary
Megs is still angry the palace refused to provide her with pre-engagement "princess training." She coldly told NOprah: "I don't know what other people got but that wasn't something that was offered to me."
"YEARS BEFORE William presented commoner Kate with the 18-carat sapphire-and-diamond ring that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana, she was shown video of Di elegantly exiting a car to a throng of eager photographers, for example, explains a royal insider, "so she would know how to deal with it."

Markle's no rain, no mud (just paparazzi) "rainy-day look"

Poor Kate was crying 😭
I imagine Wills, Kate nor their security detail felt happy that Jesal saw Catherine in painful labor (with Prince George) enter the back of the hospital. Perhaps today that moment can be celebrated through a historical lens because unlike others, a stranger was actually a hospital eye witness to the Duchess of Cambridge in severe physical distress. 👑

Hello-Hello and happy almost end-of-summer! Who would have thought Labor Day would arrive so quickly? We begin with news that the Prince and Princess of Wales attended church services on Sunday. The couple joined the King and Queen at Crathie Kirk, Balmoral’s local parish church in Scotland.  Several stories from mainstream media outlets say Prince George also attended the service with his parents. Hello reports other royals in attendance included “the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, James, Earl of Wessex, and Sir Tim Laurence.” More on the ties between the royal family and the church can be found in this post on the church site.  It was to this church that Queen Victoria came in 1848 on coming to Balmoral Castle. This began the custom, which continues to this day, of members of the Royal Family and their guests worshipping with local people in the parish church. Queen Victoria laid the foundation stone of the present church in 1893 and the new church was completed and dedicated in 1895. Funds for the new building were raised by subscription and gifts from parishioners and members of the public. A gift of ÂŁ2,000 was made by Queen VIctoria’s daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Louise who raised the money at a Bazaar held in the grounds of Balmoral Castle. Photos were very limited. Hello has pictures, as does the Daily Mail. Below, a Sunday social media post by the Mail.  King Charles and Kate Middleton publicly seen together for the first time since Trooping the Colour as they attend Sunday service at Crathie Kirk with family – after both have battled cancer diagnoses pic.twitter.com/fdWlklNkKV — Daily Mail Online (@MailOnline) August 25, 2024 The Princess appeared to be wearing almost the identical ensemble she wore when attending church at Crathie Kirk last August. Her coat looks like the Holland Cooper Full-Length Marlborough Trench Coat (ÂŁ849, about $1120 at today’s exchange rates).  She also brought back the Hicks and Brown Suffolk Fedora ($155) seen last year.  The Princess’s earrings appear to be the Dina style (no longer available) by SĂ©zane, shown here when worn on a previous occasion. Now to the second portion of today’s post, a look at ways to create your own repliKates, or have a seamstress/tailor make one for you. The original suggestion for this post came from a comment left by Nancy back in late May, and it has been fun putting it together. We’ll begin with one of the most well-received gowns the Princess of Wales has worn, the one-shoulder Alexander McQueen design first worn to the 2019 BAFTAs. One way to replicate the look is through Butterick’s B5987 pattern (prices started at $5.20 when I did a search on Etsy). The pattern is also offered by several sellers on eBay (prices vary). In the montage below on the far right, I show the original McQueen gown used for the basis of the Princess’s look. The Roland Mouret ‘Nansen’ cold-shoulder gown worn for a Kensington Palace gala has long been a favorite for many. The McCall’s M786 pattern ($15.36) offers a great way to create your own version of the style. The link above is for purchasing the pattern at Joann. It is also available at Amazon ($9.25), as well as at Etsy ($7.95) and from a variety of sellers on eBay (prices vary).  If very brave and not put off by an intricate design, Vogue 1982 offers the chance to go for the look of the cape-effect Jenny Packham gown worn to the November 2022 state dinner. I say ‘brave’ as someone who has sewn since childhood, and I imagine the cape element may be a complex part of the design. The pattern is available from a number of eBay sellers and also from Etsy sellers. This Wedding Guest Dress pattern ($3.12 on sale, usually $12.50) from La Verart Design is a digital download that looks like an okay option for the much-loved teal Jenny Packham gown first worn to the 2012 pre-Olympic Team GB gala. For those interested in doing your own version of the Roland Mouret gown ($1300) worn to the Top Gun premiere, the Emma Dress Pattern ($1400) is an option.  Creating a basic gown with embellished fabric (sequins, beads, crystals, oh my!) can be a lot of fun. McCall’s 8038 gives you a starting point to work from with a round neckline and clean lines. It is priced as low as $6.50 on Etsy, it is $15.36 at Joann, and $19.95 at Amazon. The Suzannah London shirtdress worn for an outdoor meeting at Sandringham was a popular look. The Vogue 1783 pattern ($22.40 at Joann, $11.16 at Etsy) provides a pretty good jumping-off point for copying that look, although you will need to take some of the volume of the sleeves as shown in the pattern. We know how much the Princess enjoys a fit and flare silhouette. McCall’s 7313 offers an opportunity to recreate that look. The pattern is available for as little as $4 on eBay, starting at $6.50 on Etsy, and is also offered at Amazon ($9.77).  Other fit and flare patterns with potential: New Look 6567 (starting at $6.95 on Etsy, $8.99 at Amazon, $12.95 at Walmart) and Simplicity 9176 ($8.48 at Amazon, as low as $9.99 on eBay, starting at $5.86 on Etsy).  The Princess also appreciates a classic sheath silhouette, and Butterick 6849 provides that in two basic designs. It is available at $7.95 on Etsy, starts at $2.50 on eBay, is $12.27 at Amazon, and sells for $15.36 at Joann. McCall’s 8268 is a vintage pattern offering both a sheath style and fit and flare designs; I found it for $7 on Etsy and $11.99 on eBay. McCall’s 7085 also provides a basic style with princess seams. It is as low as $7.99 on Etsy, starts at $7.50 on eBay, and is priced at $9.56 at Amazon. Two more possibilities come via Etsy. On the left, a Pencil Dress Pattern ($3.50) available via digital download from seller Witeson Patterns. On the right, the Women’s Dress Pattern ($8.12) from SewistCAD. It doesn’t copy a specific dress so much as it has design elements seen in many of the Princess’s coatdresses and regular dresses. I will wrap up the post with two oldies but goodies, the first being the Butterick pattern replicating the Princess’s wedding gown. It is available from multiple sellers on Etsy; it is also offered at Amazon. And the second is the Butterick pattern ($12.99 on eBay, $10 on Etsy) for a dress very closely resembling the McQueen gown worn by Pippa Middleton Matthews at her sister’s wedding. The pattern is also available from multiple eBay sellers.  One caveat if buying patterns via eBay and Etsy: be sure to check the patterns include the sizes you want and that it is complete.  If older or vintage, buying patterns described as “uncut” is ideal.   (function(d, s, id) var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.0"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); (document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Source link

Kate Middleton and Princess Anne are joining forces to highlight organizations dedicated to improving maternal healthcare.
The royal duo took part in their first-ever joint outing on Wednesday with a visit to the London headquarters of the Royal College of Midwives and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists — of which Anne and Kate are respective patrons.
During their visit, Kate, a mother of three, and Anne, a mother of two, will hear about the ways in which the RCM and RCOG are working together to improve maternal healthcare, ensuring women are receiving the safest and best care possible at one of the most significant times in their lives.
For Kate, who suffered from severe morning sickness during her pregnancies, the issue is especially poignant. Over the past several years, the Duchess of Cambridge has done a lot of work on behalf of early childhood development, which has been inspired by her own experiences as a mother.
Tumblr media
In a roundtable meeting, the two princesses will take part in a discussion with experts and new moms about the measures being taken to tackle inequalities in maternity care. And they will be shown some of the pioneering work being done to improve essential gynecological skills at a local level and worldwide.
In 2020, Kate got personal about her experiences during childbirth, revealing that she turned to "hypnobirthing" for all three of her deliveries. While battling hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness she had during each pregnancy, Kate says she took it upon herself to learn about the birthing method.
Tumblr media
"I got very bad morning sickness, so I'm not the happiest of pregnant people," Kate said in a revealing interview on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast in February 2020.
Kate welcomed son Prince George on July 22, 2013. His sister Princess Charlotte followed on May 2, 2015. Younger brother Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018. The royal mom had all three of her children in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London.
Tumblr media
As she's learned more through her research and in teaming up with various charities and organizations, she's come to realize that she would have done things differently during her own pregnancies.
"I feel huge responsibility because what I've learned over the last few years is so fascinating and I definitely would have done things differently, even during my pregnancy, than I would have done now," she revealed during the podcast interviews.
During their visit on Wednesday, Kate and Anne will also meet with representatives from Tommy's National Centre for Maternity Improvement to learn about the digital tools that are being developed to identify and support women with high-risk pregnancies.
And they will be introduced to key health teams of the Avoiding Brain Injury in Childbirth (ABC) collaboration focusing on the safety of fetal wellbeing during labor, and the way in which the experiences of mothers and clinical staff alike are informing this approach.
Every year, the Royal College of Midwives celebrates and rewards outstanding achievement and commitment with the RCM Awards, and the royal women will congratulate recent recipients on their inspiring work.

Prince William Wasn't Happy With the Way the Palace Announced Meghan Markle Went Into Labor
Here's a tip: Stay out of women's business.
by SHANNON BARBOUR
OCT 20, 2020
An investigation into the royal family feud rumors
Prince William reportedly didn't approve of how the palace announced Meghan Markle had gone into labor with Archie.
The palace said she went into labor after she and Prince Harry had already welcomed their son.
They did it that way to maintain their privacy and head back home before the press found out.
Robert Lacey's bombshell new book, Battle of Brothers: William, Harry and the Inside Story of a Family in Tumult, continues to shed light on Prince William and Prince Harry's strained relationship and how it affected their families. In the latest report, Robert makes it abundantly clear that William reportedly thought he had a say in how Harry and Meghan Markle announced the birth of their son.
On May 6, 2019, Meghan and Harry welcomed Archie at 5:26 a.m., but it wasn't until they and Doria Ragland were already headed back home—eight hours later—that the palace and royal family announced Meghan went into labor.
According to Robert, Meghan and Harry's desire to delay the news to ensure a safe and private return home was simply too much for William to understand. The author added that William "did not think too highly of Harry and Meghan’s 'prima donna' maneuvers to conceal the birth of their son." And uh, it seems William definitely didn't take into consideration that he doesn't know what it's like to be a pregnant woman and should mind his own business instead of worrying about Meghan's delivery plan and decision to keep that private.
Apparently, William was so upset by their expectation of privacy that he and Kate Middleton waited "a full eight days" before they finally visited the Sussexs and met Archie. And when they did show up, they didn't even bring along Archie's cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It was a shocking contrast to how "the Queen, Prince Philip, [Prince] Charles and Camilla [Parker Bowles] all turned up within hours to coo over the baby."

So, yeah, now that we know a little bit more about what reportedly went down between these families, you can see why Meghan and Harry decided to move to America and get some space. Hopefully the family can resolve their issues so Archie and his cousins are able to have some sort of relationship.

The Startling Truth the Meghan Markle Birth Drama Has Revealed About William and Harry
Tumblr media
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby hasn't even been born yet, and already it's telling us so much about the nature of the monarchy.
Tumblr media
Meghan Markle and Prince Harrys first baby is due any day now Image Getty With the Duchess of Sussex's due date fast approaching—or just past, no one really knows—speculation is raging as to the circumstances in which she will actually be delivered of a son or daughter, as the official announcement traditionally states. But will there even be that exactly worded announcement posted outside the Buckingham Palace gates? Where will the baby be delivered, in London or closer to Harry and Meghan's new residence in Windsor? At a hospital or at home, hearkening back to the way it was always done before Princess Anne and Princess Dianaeschewed the norms of previous generations? Harry and Meghan have "taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said earlier this month. Lest anyone needs reminding, when Kate Middleton gave birth to each of her three children, the process unfolded, from the declaration of labor to their first photo op, with military precision. It felt as if there was no room for error and, luckily, the babies obliged. So that's the royal baby protocol we've been used to for the past six years, and the wait-and-see nature of Meghan's pregnancy—which, in real life, is obviously the more normal of the two scenarios—has driven home not just the differing sensibilities between Kate and Meghan (Kate, unless she really wanted to rock the boat, didn't exactly have too much say in the matter), but just how different Harry and his older brother Prince William's lives are—and have been all along. The schism that appears to have formed between the two turned into a division of continental proportions this week when it was reported that Harry and Meghan might move to Africa after their baby is born—and the palace didn't deny it.
Tumblr media
Harry and Meghan are allegedly in a feud with Wills and Kate all pictured above together in March which is rumured to be a reason behind their Africa move "Any future plans for The Duke and Duchess are speculative at this stage," a spokesperson said in response. "No decisions have been taken about future roles. The Duke will continue to his role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador." The fact that this idea is even among life's possibilities for the couple illustrates the divergent paths the Cambridges and Sussexes will continue to take as William and Kate get ever closer to the throne and Harry and Meghan set out on their own. Which isn't to say that Harry doesn't remain a beloved member of the family, but as sixth in line to the throne, never has the heir felt more spare. While royal watchers have differed in recent months with regard to how much the severing of Harry's and William's households really means for their personal relationship as brothers, with some doubling down on the feud explanation and others judging it a perfectly normal progression now that Harry is married and starting his own family, there's no doubt that steps are being taken to insert distance between the two.
Tumblr media
The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall also wished the young prince a happy birthday with a sweet Instagram post The couple selected a photo of Louis Should this Africa move come to pass, or a move to Canada, Australia or any other far-off locale that's been mentioned, the official reason would be that Harry and Meghan are further spreading their philanthropic wings. But they won't be able to shake the underlying narrative that they actually want to distance themselves from the daily grind of royal life as much as possible, which, for Harry, carries the additional detraction of operating in William's shadow. Harry, however, not too long ago committed himself to full-time royalty, with the packed schedule of appearances and directory's worth of patronages that entails. Not to mention, family has always been important to him, and almost everyone in the world whom he's close to lives in the United Kingdom. Then again, Harry has personal connections to Africa, with Meghan and without. In addition to having his own charity in Lesotho, Princess Diana did some of her most memorable humanitarian work in the region, meeting with Nelson Mandelaand other anti-apartheid leaders, as well as AIDS patients and homeless teens in South Africa, and visiting with landmine victims in Angola. Incidentally, shortly before she died, Diana said she was thinking of moving to South Africa, where her brother Charles lived at the time, to retire from public life.
Tumblr media
The Queen pictured being welcomed at the Windsor Castle chapel by Prince Harry Zara and Mike Tindall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Maybe, with the arrival of Meghan in his life, home has become too much for Harry—the attention, the criticism, the expectations
or lack thereof. Two years apart in age, William and Harry occupied neighboring rungs on the royal ladder for the entirety of their lives until William's first child, Prince George, was born. Of course, their situation wasn't a case of an uncle stewing over his nephew's arrival (though George does love The Lion King). Rather, Harry's move down the ladder was an inevitability, one that he, as a 28-year-old man at the time, had comfortably accepted as a fact of his life. Not to mention, no one is clamoring for a promotion, considering how succession actually works. "Is there any one of the royal family who wants to be king or queen? I don't think so, but we will carry out our duties at the right time," he told biographer Angela Levin in 2017. At the same time, he has a platform and he wants to do good with it, as his mother did in her too-short life. "I feel there is just a smallish window when people are interested in me before take over, and I've got to make the most of it," he said. The window burst open, taking half the wall with it, however, when he and Meghan got engaged, then proceeded to have the most talked-about wedding on the planet in 2018 and then announce, five months later, that a baby was on the way.
Tumblr media
In attendance to celebrate the Queens birthday were from front the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Princess Beatrice Prince Andrew Zara and Mike Tindall If he hadn't before, Harry has certainly realized since getting married just how much people's interest in him and Meghan hasn't waned, and isn't likely to wane anytime soon. Hence the recent measures to take control of their own narrative—moving out of Kensington Palace, having their own office, starting a separate Instagram account, etc. They tried to take it further, wanting to hang their own independent Sussex shingle, but the queen determined that their office had to remain under the Buckingham Palace umbrella. That minor setback aside, Harry's distance from the throne—which will only grow longer once George and his siblings have children—is what's allowing him to contemplate a big move, or a private birth plan. To the big brother goes the crown, but to the little brother
the chance for a little something extra. William and Kate may be trying to bring up Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louisas normally as possible for as long as possible, but Harry and Meghan could actually do it with their kid. (Again, relatively speaking. Grandma's house is Buckingham Palace
and Windsor Castle, and Sandringham, and Balmoral
) Their baby will automatically be a lord or lady, it being up to the queen to bestow something grander, but there is precedent should Harry and Meghan not want their child to have any title at all. Harry's cousins Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall are title-less, thanks to Princess Anne's desire to give them a so-called regular life, minus their grandmother being the queen and all, and it's worked out wonderfully for them. And then there's William, on the straight-and-narrow road to the throne.
Tumblr media
The Royal Wedding was said to have cost in the region of million "Prince William is not an institution; nor a soap star; nor a football hero. He is a boy: in the next few years, perhaps the most important and sometimes painful part of his life, he will grow up and become a man," read the press marching orders when William, future king, enrolled at Eton in 1995. Those words proved eerily prescient. William and Harry have always been inextricably linked—as brothers, as children of a dysfunctional marriage, and as sufferers of a grotesque tragedy, one that would forever cloud their opinions of the media and leave them wondering what could have been if Diana had lived. When their mother died in 1997, William was 15 and Harry was two weeks away from his 13th birthday. Days later they walked together somberly, along with their father, grandfather and uncle, behind their mother's casket toward Westminster Abbey. The funeral was watched by approximately 2.5 billion people, after which the brothers were whisked away to Charles' country estate, Highgrove, before returning to their respective schools. Their two-year age gap had been enough to make William the one who was more attuned to his mother's mood swings, and more aware of his parents' separation in 1992, when he was 10. According to Tim Graham's 2008 biography William, friends said that Diana confided in her eldest son as if he were an adult, while Charles thought her talking to William about their marriage was entirely inappropriate. When they finally decided to separate, Diana visited William at his grammar school, Ludgrove, to discuss the matter with him.
Tumblr media
Meghan and Harry visited Morocco in Africa together recently seen directly above and now it is rumored the pair will relocate to Africa once their child "I went to the school and put it to William, particularly, that if you find someone you love in life you must hang on to it and look after it, and if you were lucky enough to find someone who loved you then one must protect it," she told Martin Bashir for the BBC's Panorama in 1995. Asked how William took the news, she said, "He's a child that's a deep thinker, and we don't know for a few years how it's gone in. But I put it in gently, without resentment or any anger. " Despite the separation, the still-married Prince and Princess of Wales continued to appear as a family with their children on important royal occasions. Diana told Bashir, "I mean, once or twice I've heard people say to me that, you know, 'Diana's out to destroy the monarchy,' which has bewildered me, because why would I want to destroy something that is my children's future?" Charles and Diana didn't officially divorce until 1996, and then a year later Diana was gone. Her death prompted a national display of emotion that was simultaneously touching and overwhelming for two boys who all of a sudden felt like everybody's concern. Directing the vow to his late sister, Charles Spencer said in his eulogy at Diana's funeral, that he and the rest of her "blood family" would "do all we can to continue the imaginative and loving way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men, so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition, but can sing openly as you All in all, Prince Charles proceeded to raise two upstanding men with the help of the village that is the royal family, including Granny, the queen.
Tumblr media
Meghans friends and the British taxpayer forked out for her lavish New York baby shower They both joined the military and learned how to fly helicopters. They even both sewed their wild oats—though William's were quick oats in comparison to Harry's steel-cut, slow-cook variety. And they were forever bonded as princes, grandsons of the queen, sentenced to an odd life even in the best of times. But one has always been freer to sing than the other. "They are normal little boys who are unlucky enough to create an abnormal amount of attention," their father remarked back in the 1980s. As a 3-year-old, William was the hot-headed trouble-maker, envious of the attention bestowed on baby Harry. It was as a serious-looking teenager that William developed his reputation for being the more pragmatic, less temperamental, more stable brother. The mercurial Harry, empathetic but unpredictable like Diana, may have gotten into more trouble but he was also considered the more infectiously charming of the two. However, by the time Harry was romping around a billiard table in the buff, William—no longer a jealous toddler—seemed content to let his brother have the attention. "Too much army and not enough prince," Harry has characterized his wilder moments. Ironically, young 'n' wild Harry got so much attention, he resented his brother for not shouldering his fair share, especially since William wasn't exactly a saint. "He was also drinking when he shouldn't have been, but because he was the heir, he got away with it, and Harry was the one who took the flak," Katie Nicholl, Vanity Fair's royals correspondent, explained to the magazine's Julie Miller last year. "It took one of their aides to actually coax Harry into speaking to William again, because Harry was so angry." But overall, the two have balanced each other out. "You've got a really trusted sibling who is incredibly complementary to you in character as well as in outlook and belief and ideals and values and that sort of thing, which Prince Harry undoubtedly is with Prince William," Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who worked as the brothers' private secretary for eight years, told royals biographer Penny Junor for her 2014 book Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son.
Tumblr media
Kate Middleton joins Prince William and Prince Harry at the Queens birthday Easter service live updates Photo C GETTY IMAGES " can apply different skills and talents to some of the issues that William as monarch may not have the time for, or which may not be quite appropriate for the top man to do but which the man one down can do." A lot has to happen, of course, before the Duke of Cambridge becomes king, all of it rather unpleasant. Not only does the longest-reigning monarch in British history have to no longer be around, but William and Harry's own father will also have to be gone or have decided for some reason to pass the crown along to his eldest son—a move Prince Charles has given no indication whatsoever that he's planning to make. William himself has said that he tries not to think too much about it for those very morbid reasons. But at the same time, he's expected to live his life as a future king, now more so than ever as the energetic but also 93-year-old Queen Elizabeth II continues to lighten her own list of responsibilities with an eye on the future. The 36-year-old is allowed his missteps and peccadilloes—his father already proved that you can step in it on numerous occasions on the journey but end up at the same destination—but ultimately he's being groomed to think like a monarch. And monarchs are judgy. As the "top man," William got the memo early on that something bigger than him required his cooperation. Harry took longer to sort himself out, not just romantically, and there was good reason for it. While some people may have been uncomfortable approaching the rambunctious prince or otherwise raining on what looked like a high-spirited parade, William eventually got his little brother to seek counseling for unresolved issues triggered by their mum's death. "My brother was a huge blessing," Harry said in a 2017 interview on Bryony Gordon's Mad World podcast. "He kept saying, 'this is not right, this is not normal—you need to talk about stuff. It's not normal to think that nothing's affected you.'"
Tumblr media
Princess Dianas astrologer Debbie Frank called Meghan a showstopper and firecracker who is all about the Meghan brand William's intervention is something Harry has always been grateful for, and their bond runs deep—but that doesn't mean it wasn't capable of being jolted by the sort of disagreements that have been roiling families since the beginning of time. The party line was that William and Kate were as excited as anybody about Harry and Meghan's engagement. The media quickly dubbed them the "Fab Four," because what could have been better than fashionable double dates featuring the future of the British monarchy? William served as Harry's best man, just as Harry did for William in 2011. And then
It got weird. First it was the sadly expected rumors of a problem between Meghan and Kate, who seem to have a perfectly cordial, if unremarkable, relationship. Despite the fact that Kate has been a busy mother of three since April 2018 and spent the summer on maternity leave from royal duties (which, as a future queen, are different from Meghan's), and Meghan was kinda busy going on her honeymoon and acquainting herself with her brand-new life, their lack of face time with each other provided endless fodder for sensational stories about the Fab Four breaking up. But more recently, it's been Harry and William at the center of the discord reports—though it's not as if their wives aren't still key supporting characters.
Tumblr media
The brothers stand several feet apart outside the chapel entrance as the Queen enters through the door "During the early stages of relationship, ahead of the engagement announcement, William did speak to Harry, just wanting to make sure Harry knew what he was getting himself into," Katie Nicholl reported shortly before Christmas. "He voiced some concerns that things were moving too quickly
I was told when Harry first brought Meghan back to the palace, he was desperate for Kate's approval. He so wanted Kate and Meghan to become firm friends and allies. I don't think it ever crossed his mind that he perhaps wouldn't get it unconditionally from his brother." So, not all interventions are welcome. "I think Harry felt that he didn't have the backing from the one person he really wanted it from," Nicholl said. Moreover, she added, "I think it's unfortunate that Meghan and Kate have really been caught in this crossfire, because there hasn't been any fall out. The thought of two duchesses fighting simply pulls more headlines than a rift between brothers." And yet the princes' purported problems—made all the more stark and unexpected because they preceded by a decades-long narrative that optimistically squeezed them together into a Diana-shaped mold—are holding their own in the headlines. "It's a bit sad really," a source told the Sunday Times this past weekend. "The wives don't get on. The brothers have fallen out." People reported that the princes didn't speak to each other on the way in or out of St. George's Chapel on Easter Sunday, though Harry was seen chatting with Kate, whom he's always treated like a sister.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have penned a sweet birthday message to their nephew Prince Louis to mark his first birthday on Tuesday Meghan, who could go into labor any minute, did not attend the service, after which all the family in town had lunch with the queen at Windsor Castle. But while they apparently didn't go on an egg hunt together, just a week prior, the tuxedo-wearing brothers seemed perfectly normal with each other at the premiere of Our Planet, the latest documentary narrated by national treasure David Attenborough, at London's Natural History Museum. They attended with Prince Charles, the trio's first outing without any spouses since April 2017. Sources told the Telegraph recently that Charles and his boys are "closer than ever" these days—but it's also known that Charles has grown averse to drama in his golden years. And there couldn't have been a better time for him to get his sons together for a cheerful night out. It's not as if they don't still need each other, no matter how many royal expectations, time zones and ladder rungs come between them. Source: EONLINE COM Read the full article

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s royal baby is almost here!
The Duchess of Sussex’s mom, Doria Ragland, has arrived in the U.K. from Los Angeles ahead of the birth of her first grandchild, Entertainment Tonight reports.
In a statement previously released by Kensington Palace in October, Doria, 62, shared her reaction to her daughter’s pregnancy announcement as the rest of the world learned Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, are expecting their first child together.
“Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” the statement read.
Doria, a social worker and yoga instructor in L.A., has a close relationship with her daughter and was the only member of Meghan’s family to attend the royal wedding in May.
Doria — who had visited Meghan and Harry in the months leading up to their nuptials — was by her daughter’s side for Meghan’s first royal hosting event in September.
She joined Prince Harry in accompanying Meghan to Kensington Palace for a celebration marking the publication of Together: Our Community Cookbook, which the Duchess of Sussex helped create to benefit those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy.
Doria met members of the Hubb Community Kitchen and beamed as Meghan spoke about how the women welcomed her. Speaking with guests, Doria said she was “head over heels” about her daughter’s accomplishment.
The royal family has also welcomed Doria. After Prince Charles walked Meghan down the aisle at her royal wedding, he escorted the bride’s mother down the steps of St. George’s Chapel following the ceremony.
And while there’s no doubt that Doria will be a hands-on grandmother to Meghan and Harry’s first child, she won’t be sharing a roof with the newest member of the royal family.
Despite reports that Meghan’s mother will be moving into the couple’s new home at Windsor Castle’s Frogmore Cottage, sources tell PEOPLE that Doria, who is based in Los Angeles, will not be a live-in grandmother.
Doria may have rooms set aside for her in the cottage, located close to the house where Harry and Meghan’s evening wedding partywas held and where their engagement photos were taken, but she’s not making a permanent move there.Meghan and Harry announced that they are keeping the plans around the arrival of their baby private, which means royal fans should not expect for Meghan to pose on the steps of a hospital like Kate Middleton did after the birth of each of her three children. The palace will, however, announce when the Duchess of Sussex is in labor.
