when writing Zuko I think it’s very important to keep in mind that in canon he entered Sokka’s tent in the middle of the night saw Sokka was clearly expecting different company & either ignored this or (imo more likely) did not process it because his brain was on the mission at hand (getting Katara to not hate him by any means necessary) & proceeded to ask Sokka to recall the most traumatic night of his life then he just casually left like “thanks” 🚶

Idk bout yall but I’d love to share more of my headcanons and thoughts for zutara. That to a point that I want to start writing again, making fics. Other then drawing, sometimes I don’t have the motivation/inspiration to draw but writing out or posting my hc/thoughts feels better. :’)

😂 i've always thought post-canon zk was interesting and had potential! like, there are very few atla ships im not intrigued by; i just don't always feel intrigued enough to read or write fanfic for them. the idea of katara and zuko being drawn together at rock bottom after aang unexpectedly dies, finding that the other person is the only one who can understand what they've lost...? aang embodies hope for both katara and zuko throughout atla, and i think there's a very powerful story in them slowly learning to find hope in the world aang leaves behind. the triangulation of katara, aang, and zuko never misses!!
