"I'm thinking, I'm thinking..." he's rambling, the eyes focused on the crowd circling them.

"You better think of something fast, because if he turns me into a mummy, you're the first one I'm coming after." Karen declared with her voice trembling, she turned her head to look at Frank for what it could be her last time ever looking at him.

Karen Page, a librarian and aspiring Egyptologist, and Foggy Nelson, her best friend and an excellent lawyer, usually have drinks together in one of the best — according to Foggy himself — bars in town: Josie's Place. On a friday night, the two friends found themselves in the middle of a bar fight and after hiding behind one the tables, Karen is quick to realize an intricate box fell from the pocket of one of the fighters and takes it for herself before even thinking twice.

She only got a glimpse of his face, yet she remembers him too well.

When she finds the map of Hamunaptra inside the box, Karen convinces Foggy to go along with her to find the mysterious man. They find ex-military Frank Castle in a local prison and Karen makes a deal with him to lead them to the City of the Dead if she gets him released, he agrees.

It wasn't in Frank's plan go back to Hamunaptra, although a certain blonde Egyptologist makes it hard to not go back to the place he once served alongside The French Foreign Legion. So when Karen accidentally wakes up a 3000 year old mummy who begins to wreak havoc in searching for the reincarnation of his long-lost love, Frank's got no other choice than to stop the terror and save Karen in the process.

Frank blinks, staring out at the ocean. One minute he was telling her sea stories about his first deployment on that Navy ship. The next they were arguing about her case against the Russians.

Then Karen was gone.

She tosses her loot into her backpack and shoulders it, trying for apathy. She really wants this issue dropped, especially since Frank is nowhere in sight. But try as she might, she can’t completely lie. “You’re Frank’s and Curtis’ friend. I trust them. I just…don’t really know you enough to have an opinion of my own yet.”

“And yet,” he says lightly, “you do.”

For a moment, they simply watch one another. Then, he breaks out into a chuckle. “Hey—I’m kidding. Really. I get it. I’m new, I’ve known Frank longer—“

“That has nothing to do with it—“

“So something does?” His eyes glitter, smirk widening. “What is it?”

I don't even how to explain that I saw the 5th gif and had a whole crazy idea about Kastle having a sort of marriage of convenience while being accidental step-parents to Leo because David, Sarah and Zach disappeared after the Snap.

Frank Castle lost his family long before Day One, so the loneliness stayed even after the apocalypse happened.

Living in his farm upstate New York, he realized quite a few tried to get near the farm. The ones who came close, messed up on their own and got caught by the creatures, but other than him, no living thing was inside the fences.

Although his mind often wanders about the people he loves, David might had made it and he hopes Sarah and the kids did it too, Curtis' location was unknown — he doesn't even know if his best friend was alive —, Frank is conscious that he's in fact alone.

As the days go by, he can't grasp reality the way others did before the creatures came. Living in the constant silence he had learned how to be with his own thoughts, how live with his demons, how to silence all of them.

Until she appeared.

Alone, with her head bleading, a knife in one hand, an old radio in the other one and a single note pressed in front of her t-shirt:

"I know how to end them"

Suddenly, all of his silence is overcome by the presence of a fierce woman named Karen Page.

The final chapter of Castle’s Auto Shop is up on AO3 💛😭😃 I had so much fun writing this version of Karen and Frank. Thanks to those who stuck with it even with my horrible posting schedule. Life has been a little crazy, but I love coming back to these characters to tell their story. Hope you all enjoy!

The final part of my Magical Numbers Hunter Au. Full story description comes out tomorrow!

After his sister was grievously injured on a hunt, Kamishiro Ryoga vowed revenge against the Heartland government and its Numbers Hunter program. 2 years later, he is recruited by the same government. Knowing that Rio is still in their custody, Ryoga agrees with a secret goal of dismantling the program from the inside out.

From the very beginning, he knows that "purifying souls" is nothing more than rendering a person comatose and condemning them to a slow death. The more Numbers he collects, the closer the hunters draw to getting their wishes granted. He, Christopher and Kaito hide the truth from Yuma as he shows the greatest promise. His despair has been channeled into high physical strength.

Ryoga’s revenge against the Heartland government is stalled upon discovering the truth behind the Numbers Hunter program.

Ryoga’s weapon, similar to Rio’s, is an umbrella capable of shielding others. It can also fire laser projectiles. He draws his power from Number 73, Abyss Splash.

His wish is to heal his sister and end the Hunters program. (Yuma voice: Hey! That’s two wishes!)

He is inspired by Miyoshi Karin.

Thinking about doing a Zexal AU where Shark & Yuma swap roles but everything else stays the same.

Shark is with Astral and his upbeat personality is to hide the fact that he's scared that his sister will never wake. The only one who knows his personality is fake is Tori, Astral and later Yuma.

Astral helps Shark make his "personality" real by being there for him, keeping him positive and showing him the good things in life.

Yuma is an angry, cold kid who hates the fact that no one cares that his parents are MIA and hates how his sister didn't tell him to "protect him" so when he found out on his own, he holds resentment to her.

I want to start this but I have too many wips rn and I should probably focus on them before writing this.
