Scarlet - The Lunar Chronicles (book 2)
I loved this book, i love this series so far. I’m growing real attached to everyone in it. my only real concern is i feel like there’s gonna be A LOT of characters, even in this one there was quite a few. Also everyone it went to Kai i was boreeeeddd he’s borrrinnnngg. i like him though he’s just boring in this one :/. that’s literally the only issue i had with it *gushing about the book* I LOVE SCARLET AND WOLF. (although his name is very on the nose there but i kinda like it how Marissa incorporated details from the fairy tales in it) I love them so much. i love wolf so much. i love scarlet so much. ahhhhh. ok ok. at the end with the alpha thing was so (weird) cute! i still ship cinder and kai, fuck levana. also thorne was annoying. (i saw some greaaaat memes abt his and cinders relationship) i really liked this book and like i didn’t really have anything bad to say abt it. I’m so excited to read the next one.

Possible Venom/Spiderman Game Idea??
Ok so. First of all.. This ain't legit or anything but I just had to throw this wild idea out there. I don't wanna have any arguements or stupidity over this one post I make cause I don't like arguing. I really believe I had this idea ever since I found out that they were pulling SpiderMan from the MCU and I was so excited to see him in extra movies and to see him in a possible crossover movie. I wanted to see Tom Holland and Tom Hardy in the same scene.. Darn you Disney!
I had a totally crazy dream where they made a Venom game. This game wasn't based on the movie though..
So here is the plotline my friends.
Eddie Brock who would be voiced by our amazing Tom Hardy would continue working as Venom and keeping his identity secret as he continues working on reporting news.
Over time our lovely venom symbiote has an internal conflict with themselves about if they should've killed Riot or not as they continue patrolling through the city until they encounter a popular Marvel character.
You guessed who they would've encountered. The one and only..
Felicia Hardy!! AKA, Black Cat!! (Spidey will come in soon don't worry believers) :>
So now that I'm awake I decided to edit this part of the dream cause most dreams skip certain scenes for me ;^;
So since this would be their first encounter with a female enemy (cause I don't believe I saw any female villains in the Venom Movie nor would I think they would've encountered one before this game) I feel like Venom would try and attack her before Ed comes in saying a quote into our first cutscene
Eddie: "Wait she's a woman you can't hit her!"
Venom: "So?!"
Eddie: "It's unmanly of us."
Venom: "She's robbing the store Eddie and we've patrolled for months. She knew we would've came after her sooner or later!"
Of course Eddie would want to be the voice of reason but as Venom whips her with his.. Symbiote Whip? Screw it I am calling it the SymWhip!
She dodges so quickly but with a serious expression on her as she paces herself and continues stealing jewelry from the store. Before she leaves she introduces herself as Black Cat. Venom is furious as Eddie is trying to process the information and think how she is so capable of being so quick on her feet and escape Venom.
Next morning. Eddie is having some chocolate and beer. Oh my bad. Some good ol water in his home as Venom is still slightly peeved about how Cat escaped from them.
Eddie soon recognizes in the newspaper how their seems fo be a new webswinger in town.
Now we at a golden point boys.
The cutscene soon cuts to spiderman who was thrown into this world by like a wormhole or some sort of magic.
Our boi Tom Holland swings into action!!
He questions how he got here again and recollect his memory of fighting a villain or trying to turn off a machine and being sent to this dimension after successfully doing so.
So you start swinging around as Spiderman for the day. Fighting criminals for a week or so and looking into clues on where you could be until you also meet Black Cat as Spidey. Due to this being farther into the game after you got the hang of Venom and now Spidey you get your first chance to fight her and she doesn't seem so easy. She strikes from above and uses gadgets to mess with our web swinging hero.
Once you defeat her though she mentions some sort of work she is doing for Kingpin and how he wouldnt be happy she lost (which would be a perfect boss since he is filthy rich and has more control of the city)
So now you can alternate between Spider-Man and Venom.
One timeskip later and Venom and Spiderman meet. You can choose how you encounter eachother due to the character pick option you can do in-game.
In the end after you both fight you figure out about Kingpin and both decide to form an alliance and take him on.
On the way there Felicia comes in the way. Spider-Man decides to take her on and you go onto the tower to find and fight Kingpin.
You beat Felicia as Spidey and she books it.
The scene alternates to Venom and confronting Kingpin.
He introduces his ultimate weapon on defeating you. Anti-Venom. He is fused with Kletus aka Carnage and you both begin to fight.
Though it seems like you were winning Felicia comes in an attacks you with a sonic weapon.
Both Venom and Anti-Venom were hurt and Anti-Venom leaves Kletus but not before saying "Need.. Better Host.." and bonds to Felicia.
Symbiote Felicia defeats Kingpin as he was still in shock about Anti-Venom separating from Kassady.
Venom soon recovers abit from the sonic attack and both Felicia and Venom have a fight on the rooftop. She is very powerful and it seemed like all hope was lost till Spiderman swooped in. You play as Venom and try to reach to help yet Venom and Eddie are both very tired from the previous fight, yet struggle with all their might. Once you enter the broken wall building you find Spiderman against the wall and Felicia soon attacks you once more.
Venom falls to the floor and sees her turning Spiderman into a symbiote minion. Spider- Crawler. Incapable of speech or the will to fight part of anti-venom. Spiderman is forced into combat with Eddie Brock and Venom. With all their might the two fought until Venom gained the upper hand. With the defeat of Spider-Crawler, Venom takes in the Anti-Venom and becomes more powerful.
This is when my dream stopped cause I have life to get up to and do things. So the ending is more fun and extra game content ideas would be cool. Though this idea may never happen, but to share for the world would be totally cool to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read!!

My take on a Venom movie - Agent Venom, Lovecraftian Themes, Agents of SHIELD Crossover
Ever since he was introduced in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man, Venom has been a fan-favorite Marvel villain/anti-hero. The character made his big-screen debut in 2007′s Spider-Man 3, being played by actor Topher Grace. His depiction in the third part of Sam Raimi’s trilogy was one met with backlash from fans who loved the character, seeing as his arc felt very rushed due to an already-convoluted story.
Ever since then, a Venom movie has been stuck in development hell over at Sony Pictures. During that time, Sony rebooted the Spider-Man movies with Andrew Garfield playing the web-headed hero and then, through a deal with Marvel Studios, allowed Spidey to appear in the third Captain America movie (now played by young actor Tom Holland) and officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, teaming up with Iron Man himself in his first MCU solo movie.
Happy to see that sweet cash from success again, Sony Pictures was quick to announce a new movie starring Spider-Man-related characters Black Cat and Silver Sable, and also revive that Venom movie idea, even casting the wonderful Tom Hardy as the symbiotic villain.
Now, what everyone’s worried about, is the fact that it’s not clear if those movies will be part of the MCU. Some argue that they could work like the ABC and Netflix TV shows, where while they do happen in the same universe, they tend to stick more to their own plots, or maybe Sony is just going crazy and willing to make a whole different universe to play with (the so-called “Sony Marvel Universe”). I think it will be like the TV shows, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Regardless, here’s a little of my opinion on how they could make an interesting Venom movie without Spider-Man (oh yea, did I mention they don’t want to have Spider-Man in the movie? Yeah...):
Firstly, make it based off Agent Venom, but instead of being Flash Thompson, make the evil symbiote’s host the original Venom, Eddie Brock.
When the Venom symbiose was acquired by the U.S. government, they gave rise to a new super-soldier project called Project Rebirth 2.0, seeking to bond the now-tamed alien symbiote to a soldier. That soldier was, of course, veteran Flash Thompson.
Now, I know this isn’t classic Venom, and I know that some people don’t like him that much. And also, that’s supposed to be an older Flash Thompson! So what the hell!?
Well, Flash Thompson is still a teenager in the MCU, so I don’t want him to turn into Venom... yet.
Recently, Eddie Brock, much like Flash, has been working with military forces and even on a recent Carnage comic book series, he was there to help take down his long-time rival Carnage who was trying to awaken a Lovecraftian elder god who just so happens to look like a giant symbiote. And guess who’s rumored to be the villain of the movie? Yep, Cletus “Carnage” Kasady.
I think Eddie Brock, in this universe, could take the role of a veteran U.S. soldier, willing to take part in a super soldier program. He bonds with the symbiote, and he becomes Agent Venom... with no Spider-logo since he has no connection to Spider-Man.
The plot of the movie would be very inspired by the most recent Carnage comic... the one I mentioned before where he tried to awaken an elder god...
In the movie, the U.S. military would find not one, but two alien symbiotes the inside a cave from a distant island. They captured them and decide to first test the more agitated one in a convicted serial killer called Cletus Kasady, thinking that if the alien proved itself too much for the psychopath’s body and killed him, it wouldn’t be much of a ploblem since it was a serial killer and all.
Cletus goes even insaner, and breaks out off the U.S. facility he was being kept, hearing a mysterious calling in his mind, louder and louder... a call to awaken the elder god Chthon.
To do it, he must acquire a book called “the Darkhold”. Written by Chthon himself, the book is Marvel’s version of H.P. Lovecraft’s “Necronomicon”, a tome full of forbidden knowledge that can make the weak-minded go insane. Thanks to the already-insane and blood-thirsty mind of Carnage, was can read the contents of the book and summon Chthon in the island where the symbiotes were found.
That book is already a part of the MCU, having made its first appearance in the fourth season of Marvel/ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
The season involved people using the Darkhold to acquire powers, and Ghost Rider. As of the end of the season, the whereabouts of the book are unknown. I think it would be fine to think that the books is still somewhere hidden on Earth, and a fight against its current guardian could happen in the movie, finally giving us that movie-TV tie-in.
Agent Eddie “Venom” Brock, who can sense a little of Chthon’s calling and sense the presence of his sibling symbiote, is assigned to get the book from Kassady’s hand and prevent the villain from awakening Chthon.
The movie could also feature Silver Sable, giving us our first introduction to the character before her movie with Black Cat.
It would be implied that the symbiotes are part of Chthon, turning them into Lovecraft-style extra-dimensional aliens.
At the end of the movie, Carnage opens a portal to Chthon’s dimension and almost succeeds in summoning the elder god. The portal is fragile, so it can only take the passage of one individual. A character from Brock’s team, potentially a love interest, sacrifices herself to close the portal, and Brock beats up and locks away Carnage.
After-credits scene shows that some symbiotes arrived on Earth through the portal. Since they’re only parts of Chthon, they managed to pass trough the portal without having it close.
Aaand, that’s it, really. In the future, Eddie Brock could lose the Venom symbiote and it goes on to take Flash Thompson as a host. Flash and Eddie basically swap places in this universe.
Yep, that’s it, I guess.

Zom-B
that plot twist, in the fucking prologue (!!!!), really got me wtf. in the beginning i kinda hate B. she sounded suuuper douchey. oh and she’s racist?? im not gonna lie, this one was hard to read and not because of the like writing or genre it’s because the contents of the writing. the things that B (main character) does is repulsive. When it was first happening i was livid and honestly it was hard to read but after a few more pages i remembered that she’s from an abusive home, with an abusive father, and she’s talks about how she’s stopped fighting it and has just accepted it. but i’m sorry and that’s awful, but that’s no excuse to be an absolute shit person. LET ME FUCKING SAY THIS, FUCK TODD! FUCK HIM! I HOPE HE FUCKING DIES. i fucking hate people. i fucking hate hate hate B. The only thing that i had a problem with (other than the amount of racism in this) was that there was so many characters. just so many. but i mean by chapter 20 they kinda deal with that issue. and then also the ending?? i was under the impression that B dies. (BECAUSE SHE FUCKING SAYS “i die”) and then i looked up like a plot synopsis of the next book and it still B she wakes up a few months after the events of the first book. but she died. sooo? idk if i’m going to read it just because i was so infuriated when i read the first half of this one. also i’m so dumb, for some reason i was under the impression that B was male the whole book, but i think the fact that the babies kept calling her mummy should’ve made me realize. also at the end when her dad called her becky i was shook.
(also very clever name, i see you darren)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titans Curse
With every book i fall more and more in love with this series. My literal only complaint was that there was NOT enough tyson in this book. He is probably one of my favorite characters in the series. I did not Thalia when i first started reading and was still like indifferent to her by the end of the book, she was kind of a bitch and a know it all in the beginning, which she eventually let off of but i still didn't like her. The whole story line with Bianca and Nico DiAngelo had me sh00k. I literally didn't see it coming (well i sorta did bc my friend hinted at it but not with these two, if that makes any sense) Anyways that's literally alllll i have to say about it. i love the books so much.

Cinder (the lunar chronicles, book one)
So i read and finished Cinder in a day, i really enjoyed it actually. I loved cinder (the character and storyline) although the story line (some elements) were pretty predictable. (i.e. princess bullshit) other than the predictability and fucking peony dying (she did NOT have to die, that was so uncalled for wtf) i didn’t have a problem with it, in fact i really enjoyed it. i love the whole dynamic of future (but still not really post apocalyptic era) and the cities and just how there’s fucking people on the moon. usually like apocalyptic shit is like after a world ending war, or like sometimes it’s not really explained how they got there (hunger games, i think) and yes there was a war but not world ending, just certain areas so i don’t know i just enjoyed that a bit. and i love the ending at the ball, the slight nod to the og cinderella (if you read it you know) anyways i liked it, and i have the second one on hold but now i’m going to read percy jackson: sea of monsters

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian
This book is probably my favorite in the series. I loved most of the characters (i hated rachel) I love the story. i'm fucking obsessed with Greek Mythology. Ok let's actually talk about the book. I knew from the first damn chapter with Percy facing Kronos this book was gonna be wild. WILD. I love how there was already so much action in the first chapter that was crazy. (charlie did NOT need to die) The other crazy thing is that for like 75% of the book you're pretty much thinking that everyone is gonna die because of how fucked they all are. Poseidon is stuck in the ocean fighting his battle, the REST OF THE FUCKING GODS are fighting typhon and there's no one guarding Olympus. Honestly i don't know how they won that was fucking wild. Again sorry for the shit review i really need to make these better but i highly recommend this series 15/10 yes.

The Young World
so i’m not gonna lie, i feel like this book tried a little hard to be deep. ya know? like there was to much discussing the difference between Love and love and Him and him and What happened and what happened and Before then before and then After and after. There’s just too much, i just want my cookie cutter apocalypse book. i really didn’t like donna in the beginning and like for majority of the book i didn’t like her. she’s kinda insensitive, but i get it it’s the apocalypse and her whole family died- everyone’s families died but like have some simpathy girl. she just kinda rubbed me the wrong way and in the first couple of chapters or so she mentions how like repulsive Jefferson is, which is really harsh bc she was literalllly just talking about how god like his brother is. but alas jefferson is in love with her (bc we always have to have a fucking romantic subplot) and he finally tells her and she like picks a fight with him. idk idk. i did not like her. and the fact that it took her a total of like two days to finally figure out she loves him. which also him loving her was pretty much just bc she was there and he knew her. (which she knew because she explains his type, which is of course the total opposite of hers) and she also belittles all girls who look “attractive” (big boobs, blond hair, blue eyes, flat stomach, etc.) one of the other main girls ends up hooking up with jefferson and like idk it was random and stupid. i get she’s been like abused and raped for years but then she must’ve had some reserve since she knew she wanted to runaway? like i just don’t understand how or why she feels the need to kiss jefferson as they r literally fighting for the gun. also the “Sickness” didn’t make sense really. i mean like the whole thing really didn’t make sense. i don’t understand how like if these kids are just nonstop having sex then why can’t thy get pregnant? it’s talked about how they aren’t using protection and like how “they discovered they can’t get pregnant” idk. i hated how they treated all the women well girls they are all under 18. but it disgusted me how the fucking white kids treated women. they people in the book literally refer to them as a rapeocracy it just it’s tasteless. i get a lot of bad things happened but they also didn’t explain it. it’s only been two years since this apocalypse started and they are like already trying to find cures and shit. I’m not like an actual critic i’m doing this for me, for fun.. so take that as you will.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Sea of Monsters
At first i was really apprehensive about reading sea of monsters because Tyson really really ruined the movie for me, but my friend told me to just read it anyways and before he was introduced all i could do was complain about him but oh have i changed my opinion (well sorta) i love love love tyson in the book he’s so adorable and so pure and so innocent (i will literally fight you if you disagree, i.e. all the fuckers at camp half-blood) and he needs to be protected at all costs. in regards to the movie, i still hate him. tyson is so pure and he’s so fucking nice to percy and so cute at the end when he talks about how he prayed to his dad to help him. (he literally calls him daddy and it’s so cute omg) the thing that kinda annoyed me about the book was that like luke’s whole fuckin rebellion is on the fact of he hates his father and he hates the gods (because of who fucking knows what) he hates his father bc he “ignored” him but like so have all the other kids parents and you don’t see them trying to wake their fucking evil grandfather. (also when chiron told percy that kronos was his father, why did percy react like that? like ok cool chiron is your fuckin uncle) anyways, like is literally just in his scene phase, just with out the make up and hair. this is getting to long so i’m gonna cut it here, but it’s gonna be a while until i read the next one bc i don’t have the next three, and i’m broke so i have to wait until i have money to buy them. and i was gonna just listen to the audio books but the dude who reads it voice bugs me and he keeps mispronouncing thalia so i can’t listen to it.

percy jackson (movie rant?)
well i finished the book, and i actually loved it so much so so much. to summarize my thoughts, luke's a shady prick and i hate him. they fuckin destroyed santa monica. i love how fuckin stupid humans are in their world. the gods are a bunch of fuckin assholes. i loved it so much more then the movie. so so much more. anyways, other thoughts about the movie. i literally dont understand how WRONG they got the fucking movie. like it's not difficult to read the book and make a script/movie out of it!!!! like just do what ACTUALLY FUCKIN HAPPENED. i.e. all of percy's interactions with clarisse, she wasn't in the first movie (please correct me if i'm wrong) and how they ACTUALLY explained what happened to thalia (again please tell me if i'm wrong bc i think i might be with this one but then i also don't think so) to sum it up, i loved the book and i can't wait to read the next one but for now i'm going to read Cinder, which is the first book in the lunar chronicles soooo i hope i like it, i think i will tho.

percy jackson (movie m/book mini comparison bc i haven't finished the book lol)
percy is a baby. movie one has like nothing from book one but then movie two has like a looooooot of things from book one. so it’s kinda like they’ve only made one book into the movie. i also hope that the cyclops brother isn’t in the book, i hated him in the movie and yes, i compare it to the movies bc they are the only things i’ve seen from percy jackson. i mean i always knew there was books i just never read them. idk why, i’m really enjoying this first one tho!

percy jackson
i started reading percy jackson tonight and i'm sh00k. #1 i didn't know percy jackson was fucking 12 in the first book... like wtf. i thought he was in highschool like in the movie. #2 is more of a question.. do the people at camp halfblood not know who percy's dad is???? i'm very confused. but also all of my knowledge of this book is what i got from the movie, which i've heard is literally nothing.
