“when are you gonna introduce us to y/n?” 

“yeah,” chota knocks his shoulder into arisu’s as they walk over to sit down in a booth beside front of the window. cars drive by the convenience store in the light rain, occasionally causing a splash of water to hit the sidewalk. “you talk about them all the time. when do we get to meet ‘the best thing that’s ever happened to you?’” 

“shut up,” arisu waves them off, leaning down to hide his growing blush. steam raises up from his cup of noodles as he rips the lid off and mixes the sauce packet into the noodles. 

“come on!” karube complains. “we won’t do anything to embarrass you.” he holds his pinky out with a raised eyebrow. “i promise.” 

arisu rolls his eyes, pushing karube’s hand away. “whatever.” chota laughs beside them before changing the conversation to the newest level of a random video game he must’ve missed the release for. despite his protests he pulls out his phone and clicks on your contact. it’s almost second nature as he texts you.

arisu smiles to himself as he sets his phone aside before turning his attention back to his noodles. they’ve cooled down significantly. unfortunately for him, chota notices his small smile and lack of participation in their conversation. 

“talking to y/n again?” he teases. 

arisu sighs, finally relenting. “i texted them. they’re on their way over here now.” his eyes stay glued to the doors as karube and chota joke amongst themselves. 

arisu’s excitement builds along with his nerves as your car slowly pulls into the parking lot. you exit your car, rushing into the building in an attempt to avoid the rain. he lights up when you immediately notice him and quickly make your way over to where he is. “arisu!” 

“hi angel,” he chuckles, standing up to pull you into a hug. arisu’s waist remains around your waist when he pulls away before gesturing to the two men sitting beside him. “karube, chota, this is y/n.” 

chota is the first to react, nearly scrambling to his feet to bow to you. “chota segawa,” he introduces. he’s wearing a striped button down shirt and a pair of black dress pants. his work lanyard swings when he bows. his face flushes with a light blush as he awkwardly stutters out a few words. “it’s nice to meet you.” 

“karube daikichi,” the blonde man goes next. he’s significantly calmer than chota as he lowers his head towards you. he smells faintly like a mixture of beer and cigarette smoke as he gives you a small half-smile. “arisu has said a lot about you.” 

“l/n y/n,” you smile, reciprocating their bows. “arisu talks a lot about you guys too. it’s nice to meet the both of you.” arisu looks away in a poor attempt to hide his blush as you chuckle, reaching under the table to grab his hand into yours. you take the opportunity to sit down beside him across from karube and chota. 

arisu watches as you quickly fall into conversation with karube. your laughter is a sweet sound that would normally calm his nerves, but it’s usually a result of his jokes. his slowly growing irritation goes unnoticed as you reach over the table to use your hand to emphasize the point you’re attempting to make, accidentally pulling away from where your hands were intertwined in the process. 

chota also notices how well you’re getting along, teasingly raising an eyebrow and cocking his head to gesture towards you and karube. arisu attempts to ignore him; though his slight teasing only adds to his growing jealousy.

a small reprieve comes when he reaches over to tug your hand back into his, now resting your intertwined fingers on the table in plain view. chota chuckles at the sight. “what is it?” karube asks, looking over at him. 

chota simply shakes his head with a small smile. “nothing.” 

“your friends are nice,” you murmur from your position against arisu’s chest. “karube’s a funny guy. and chota is really sweet.” his heartbeat is steady under your ear. he lets out a sound akin to a grunt, tightening his grip around you ever so slightly. you stifle a chuckle as you shift to look up at him. “what?” 

“you seem to be getting really close with karube.” 

“like i said, i like karube.” you move to hover over arisu, bringing your hands up to cup his cheeks. “are you jealous?” 

his face flushes as he looks away. “no.” 

“you’re jealous!” 

“fine. i’m jealous.” arisu reaches up to wrap his arms around you, flipping the both of you over so he’s leaning over the top of you. “are you gonna make it up to me?” 

“is a kiss enough?” he hums as you reach up to pull him down into a kiss. arisu doesn’t let you pull away for long, pulling you down into another one, and another, and another.

he most likely first met you when he was in highschool with arisu where they just became friends

like 6 weeks maybe

him, chota and arisu just walking down the school hallway

all laughing and shit

then you walk in and go to arisu

"hey bro"

then you leave after, and karube is just all ♥

he turns to arisu and like wants him to confirm if you're really his sister

i have a feeling that this man would flirt with you ALL the time

and he backs off a bit when arisu is present

but he still sends you like air kisses and winks behind his back

maybe another flirty remark

but arisu is either too busy on his phone playing or like he doesn't understand what just happened in front of him

because your brother isn't that experienced in flirting

you giggle and snicker at every silly thing he sends and does your way

he's just silly like that

when you and karube do get together,

you both came up with the idea to not tell arisu yet

because it doesn't matter if you're older or younger,

arisu wants to protect your ass

and it honestly scares you how he would react

even though karube could most likely toss his ass (sorry arisu, love u)

people may think that sneaking around is too tiring and exhausting but

this man manages to make it fun

almost like playing a hide and seek game

like what i did there?

anyways-

he'd shower you in kisses before you leave

he does the same when he needs to go somewhere too

can we all agree that karube could be such a romantic simp?

he denies it

and then the next second he's cupping both your hands with his and looking at you in the eyes so sweetly

would like to hold your hand every second but cant because, yk

karubae indeed.

he would totally be the type to like run out of your window as you tell him the coast is clear because arisu is back home but like while he is midway running out your lawn and about to climb the fence, he would run back to you and kiss you before leaving again

just like that one scene in friends where chandler comes back to kiss monica when they almost got caught

idk, i just see it

and it's so cute

he would bring you flowers on special occasions

and then you'd have to make up an excuse or lie about why there's new flowers in the house

when karube would hang out with arisu and chota, they would be like eating or making fun of each other

and then his phone would ding

and it's a message from you

chota and arisu would tease him for like smiling at that text message you sent

man, does arisu not know what's coming for him

if the teasing gets too much, karube would start to joke that it might be their sister (both to arisu and chota.. if chota has a sibling or something)

and chota would start to laugh at karube

meanwhile arisu would snicker and say that you wouldn't like him

well

karube would just start chuckling and then the night would continue

oh and he will fight anybody who starts to threaten you

when he senses that you're in danger,

expect him to start throwing hands at your aggressor

and then immediately would hold your hand like nothing happened

and then enjoy all the praises and compliments you shower him

he's such a ♥♥

there would be nights where you would tell arisu that you were gonna hang out with some friends

and then go to karube's bar when he decided to close early for the night

then both of you would just chill out there and just talk all night

and if you're okay with it, he would tell you about how he pictured he'd spend the rest of his life with you

because he would want to

and he's so happy to have you in his arms right now

and if you drink then he'd make drinks for the both of you

but he always keeps an eye on how many you drank because its gonna be a problem when you come back home, smelling like a familiar scent of alcohol

this man cuddles like crazy

would whisper in your ear and just hold you close

both of you would also start pillow or tickle fights

mostly ended up with you on the ground crying and laughing your ass off

he loves your giggles and would do anything silly and funny just to hear it

if you give him gifts,

then he's practically melting

like he would think it's so cute

but he'd tease a lot

cause he's karube.

chota and arisu are honestly quite annoyed that karube won't let them know who's his new girlfriend is

tells them to back off

oh and there's a lot of side glancing between you and karube when your in the same room together

and oh my lord,

if arisu finds out.

he'd think it's so wonderful, so cute

but he's also pretty shocked and furious

mostly angry because both of y'all didnt tell him and he becomes so pouty

i dont know why but i have a SLIGHT feeling that arisu may start chasing karube as karube would retreat and hide behind you

cause he doesnt want to hurt your brother NOR does he want your brother to hurt him

but mostly the first one

it would probably look like a tiny puppy trying to fight a bear

but all in all, arisu is supportive and karube teases arisu a lot about it

Tanks for teh ask :} My favorite board game is monopoly or karuba. Karuba is this like board game which is kinda like bingo. Basically you have a board and 36 path blocks. You also have several little people and little temples. You put the guys on a number and the temples on a number, and then someone calls out a path block number (like bingo)
