To call this an unexpected relationship was putting it mildly. In general, Yaba didn't do relationships, whether it be serious and exclusive or casual. To his knowledge, what he had going on with Karube was plenty casual but pleasurable for the both of them; they enjoyed each other's company and sometimes got a much-needed tension relief in the way of making use of whatever surface was around at the time. His favorite encounter was at the bar Karube worked at back home.

For now, it would be private. He made his way up to the room Karube called his own and made no attempt at knocking; his company was expecting him, after all. "Karube?" he called, glancing around. He slipped his jacket off, setting it aside.

How do you describe writing / rp to others? I constantly have this problem trying to explain it to people who don't do it. Especially since people now hear "roleplay" and think of things like D&D or Larping. I just tend to say collaborative writing. Or if they know what fanfiction is, collaborative fanfiction.
