Karter: Damn, you make it hard to leave! Heather: Then don't! You shouldn't be working anyway! I have millions in the bank. Besides, you're a rookie in the sports career! You're not a non-playable sim anymore, you can relax!

Karter knew Heather was right (Heather was always right), but he didn't want to live off of her hard earned money. Maybe he could get a promotion and retire on a better pension though.

Heather: Cut whatever macho shit is going through your head. We've got the money. Think about it!

Isabella: Yaaay! Let's all talk about Mum's movie! It's not like I had a monumental moment in my life! Noelani: I made §28k in one day! When you do that, you'll be ready to make big choices like that! Heather: Fuck....it's like sitting in between two of me.

Sufficiently calmed, Heather and Karter joined the rest of the family for breakfast. Seeing her family around the table cheered her up, but the feeling was rather shortlived.

Heather: it was....awful! I gained forty pounds with Siobhan and that was in my thirties! I can't do that again! I was so scared! My Selvadorada specials...

Karter: The medication from your necklift is really putting you through it huh? First the werewolf in...Milf...Manor?

Heather: M..motel.

Karter: That one. Now this. We've got to get you a helmet!

Heather woke up with a start. Instinctively, she raised a hand to her taught abdomen and breathed a sigh of relief. It had either been a nightmare or the watcher pulled a Mandela effect tear on the universe on her. Either way she was greatful.

Karter was sleeping peacefully beside her. Too peacefully, she felt, considering the absolute drama she had gone through. She forced a few fake coughs to wake him.

Heather stood up and walked away from the bench. She had been thinking about this for some time and she was ready for the next step. She turned to face Karter and didn't break eye contact as she went down on one (recently replaced) knee.

Heather: Karter, I love you, you love me and we're both incredibly snatched for our nineties. Let's do it right this time! Karter: Will you be able to get up again, Heather? Heather: Oh shut up and marry me!

Karter said yes without a second thought and the they took their celebration downstairs to Heather's basement apartment.

Karter: I heard nothing. Heather: Hearing going in your old age? Karter: Funny...parts of you are just as old as I am!

Heather kissed Karter before he mortally offended her.

Karter: After all these years, I never thought this would happen! Heather: Well I'm full of surprises! I'm glad we're doing this now and not as dramatic teenagers...well, I was dramatic, you were pretty normal. Karter: Did you just admit a fault? Are you sick? Heather: I've suddenly forgotten what I just said. How strange.

Heather: I haven’t seen you since... Karter: Since Maisie’s funeral. I know, I should be long gone, but I found a potion of youth in Maisie’s belongings and figured I’d stick around for our daughter. Heather: I thought I was ready after Milo and Ed, but there’s so much more to do. So many randoms in bad fashions....

While the house was empty, Heather invited Karter over to help her look for the missing television remote.

Heather and Karter talked until it began to grow dark. She hugged him and they broke apart to go their separate ways.

Heather: I’m so glad we bumped into each other. Karter: I never stopped thinking about you, Heather. I know I’ve got more chance of breaking a hip than a heart, but what do you say? Heather: I’d like that.

Heather: Karter! It’s so good to see you! Karter: You haven’t aged in at least forty years, look at you.

Heather hugged her friend tightly as Zaiden looked on, bemused.

Zaiden: You’re not forty one are you? Heather: Parts of me are younger than others. Good night, Zaiden. Zaiden: I’m telling the government.

Zaiden: That was great! Why did that waiter tell you he was a huge fan and ask for your doctor’s details though? Heather: I just have one of those faces! This was good, I’ll call you.

In her attempts to throw Zaiden off the scent, Heather didn’t notice the man approaching them.

Karter: Heather?

Just a quick post to confirm that Maisy (liek you guys, it’s totaleh Maiseh!) is still around and still very happily married to Karter. Their now adult daughter, Catalina lives with them and they recently moved her father Dean (Edwin’s hot stepdad) in with them.

Maisy and Karter were still very much in love.
