Inspired by a post I recently saw; the Hispanic MC community is very open in terms of fandom practices and creators are very knowledgeable of it.

Older creators like Vegetta, Rubius, and Luzu are all OGs in terms of career and were super popular during the huge YouTube wave in the early 2010s, which meant they’ve experienced the shipping craze that was super common in that period. Vegetta and his friend Willy actually created content under their ship name and own the Wigetta twitter user. They’ve also published a book series with that name! Rubius and his friend Mangel were what I can describe as best as the Spanish Dan and Phil. But now, Rubius and Vegetta are the biggest ship in the Hispanic MC community thanks to Karmaland.

New creators are very transparent with the fact that they have the ability to see fan activity on twitter and are not afraid to reference fanfiction activity during discussions. Roier is the most in touch with fandom activity (that I know of). So if your having any shipping talks, I would be weary if your talking about Roier but he means no harm! He’s very appreciative of fanworks made for him regardless if it’s ship-related or not.

TDLR; shipping is common and open and Hispanic creators will not care. They will ignore it, praise your work at best, or will lightly tease fans at worst.

hello! i got mention in here and i felt bad if i didn't at least help with it as well: there is a youtube channel Nefelibata that covers karmaland stuff, he has an entire video explaining the entire lore of K!Quackity

ironically Quackity's story tells you the LEAST about the karmaland experience since most of the time he is being silly and does not look into mods

If you do know spanish, Another person is Vegetta777 who streams exclusively on youtube and there is a recap playlist! he mainly focuses on building and mods

if you really really don't want to invest much, you have Mangel (only two episodes) or Illojuan (19 episodes), Sapo peta's Twitch is AgenteMaxo, Maxo does not stream his character often and just appears in other peoples pov

the one whose got the most plot relevant is Staxxx due to his first episode him being kidnapped and starting.... the events.

I only mention those cause they're the only fews that stream in youtube (except staxx), the other 4 inhabitants are Alexby11, LolitoFDEZ, Rubius, Luzu and xfarganx all written exactly like that on twitch but they do not save vods... This series is as accessible as a grandma's ass but you will leave out of it being insane on tumblr

Do you know enough about karmaland to recommend how to watch it/who to watch

ok ftr im not a native spanish speaker nor was i able to watch a lot of the later streams bc of school but i absolutely would recommend it, although if you dont understand spanish then it is going to be so much harder to get through it now that k5 is over and the fandom has completely chilled out. that being said

the answer is yes i would recommend it its a fantastic story with some questionable choices that the fandom found some very interesting and extreme arguments in but that we inevitably have to live with. theres a ton of new streamers that ive been exposed to that im still watching even after k5 is over. story wise i highly recommend quackity and luzu as they are the most popular and lore-heavy ones, i also must mention sapo peta who unfortunately i cant remember the twitch user of rn (if i find it later ill edit this post) and the wonderful rubius aka elrubius on twitch they are all fantastic. but if u havent been involved in the hispanic mc community before u should look up a list of the ccs and check them out to see whos personality really clicks w u, unlike the dsmp for me i only stuck w a few povs.

quackity has untranslated vods on his spanish vods channel, elalexquackity vods, luzu has stream highlights which are surprisingly effective which is also what most members do, these are all the sapo peta vods i could find, its pretty much the same for all members except q i believe w the stream highlights. theres also vegetta777 who i rec watching with rubius' pov if u end up going that way. yeah ok i think thats it
