first of all the writing is fantastic and the characterization is so on point. i LOVED the amount of casual affection in the fic. casual affection in fics is my bread and butter baby it's just so so lovely and for what. y'know what i'm gonna include some of my favorite moments of casual affection bc i'm gonna lose it if i don't tell the world

oh my gosh okay this is the moment i realized this was no ordinary fic :') the "fondness plain" in Sapnap's voice and Dream's absolute haste to get out there and see him after hearing his voice through the door oh my GOD the amount of emotion kills me

I LOVED THIS MOMENT i'm such a sucker for good dialogue and just the image of Karl, head in hands bc of how cute dreamnap are, is so cute ?? and with George just sitting beside him, seemingly unbothered but still providing support but still secretly endeared by the whole situation ?? god so lovely. and the exchange "remember when our relationship was new, dearest?" "no" goes from affectionate to blunt real quick and that's my type of humor so it's perfect to me lol

okay last but not least i have to gush about the kisses bc they did an excellent job of showcasing their individual personalities and relationships with each other and that's one of my favorite things about polycules: how each pairing has a different dynamic.

kwt's kiss is so sweet. sweet as sugar :') Karl being described as playful and teasing, and Dream getting whiny. but in the end they don't want to stop. they're both absolutely lovesick romantics and it perfectly suits their personalities :')

snf's kiss is more competitive. more snappish. more charged. it fits their dynamic so well. but despite what they say about each other, they just can't get enough. they try to appear unfazed by each other but girl they were waiting for that kiss

dnf's kiss is so lovely bc the contrast between George's cool confidence and Dream's warm, bumbling affection clashes where Dream's a blushing mess whenever he interacts with George, and it's so endearing to George that they just can't get enough of each other like wow

karlnap's kiss is so beloved. Sapnap's confidence draws Karl in and leaves the romantic a blushing mess in a much similar way to how George's does. Karl literally melts into him like ough he's head over heels fr

I’m what you will call a newbie or fandom baby, cause I’m here since, I would say august 2022 ? I’m a little clown who always get on things after they reached their apotheosis 🤡. So I was in a phase where I didn’t really have any fandom going on and was looking for something easy to consume which would give me big serotonin shot, sooo I just clicked on ranboo doing enderman thingy compilation’s ( cause nothing make me more happy than minecraft worldbuilding AND hybrid stuff. And according to the dsmp fandom they are all hybrid. And they are right. ). And from that I started watched Sbi compilation, then lore sum up, Sadist animatic. At some point I was like fuck it I’m gonna watch the whole adventure from the beggining and I did. Here an image of me loosing it because it took me months

Favorite characters are Badboyhalo, Captainpuffy, Technoblade, Karl jacobs, Awesamdude … Quackity ..…HannahRose, ITS SO HARD TO CHOOSE! Like I have more character that I really like than character that I feel just okay about them

-Whenever Sapnap gets too stressed with royal work/duties and his tiny lovers realize it, they will go to Sap be like: Helluw :3 and then just place themselves in both of Saps hands to get him to stop and take a break

-( this is gonna be a bit angsty so warning) Q and Karl just wanted to go to the towns market together and get some things since Karl wanted to bake a cake and Q couldn’t say no. So here they were hand in hand walking down the streets in the direction to the market...-later on when Sapnap heard the Human door to his room open he practically jumped out of his bed to scoop his lovers up cuz he missed them. When he sees them tho, he stops dead in his tracks. The sight before him seeming unreal. There were his lovers, Q helping Karl stand, covered in dirt even bit of blood. He was sure he also saw a few tiny bruises. It shattered his heart. They both looked up when they heard Sapnap walk over to them. After a small shocked pause, Sapnap immediately scooped the two up and pressed them to his chest. That was their breaking point. They began to bawl their eyes out and hold onto Sapnap for dear life. (I‘ll let ya‘ll guess what happened)

"Charlie, lunch is ready!" Charlie's dad yelled from the other room. "Coming!" They yelled back. Charlie had just moved in with their new dads two or three weeks ago, so far they were enjoying it. Charlie had never had a real home, their real parents abandoned them when they were less than a month old. They were moved from foster home to foster home for years. That was until they met three men. They men had been married for a few years and had been wanting a kid, so they decided that foster homes were the best places to find one of their own. They were wanting a smaller kid, maybe between the ages of four or five. Then they saw Charlie. Charlie had been in the system for fifteen years. Never being able to settle in a home due to their strange behavior. It wasn't really "strange" per se, but it was definitely different. One, they were agender, not using gender specific pronouns. And two, they were neuro divergent. They acted younger then they were. While most kids their age were playing sports or getting their first girlfriends or boyfriends, Charlie was at home, playing with stuffed animals, watching cartoons made for eight year olds, and eating dinosaur chicken nuggets. As soon as they saw Charlie, saw how they sat alone at dinner or how they didn't talk to any of the other kids in the foster home, they asked about them. Asked how long they had been there and if they could take them home. And they did. After months of paperwork and legal matters, they took Charlie home, gave them a place to stay. And now here they are. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Charlie ran out of their room and into the kitchen were their dad, Karl, had made them lunch. "Here you go hun" He set the plate down on the table, on Charlie's placemat. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a glass of chocolate milk. Charlie sat down and quickly began eating. Karl laughed and pet the top of their head. Not long after, their papa, Q, had come into the kitchen and grabs Karl from behind. "Hey baby." He kissed his cheek. "And Hello Charlie" "Hi Papa!" Charlie yelled, a large smile on his face. "What's for you so happy, bud?" Q questioned. The teen quickly answered. "Pops is gonna take me to shopping today! We're gonna go find stuff for my room!" "That's great bud! I'm sure you'll have fun" Q said, resting his chin on his taller husband's shoulder. "We sure will." The last of the men came out into the kitchen, wearing nothing but some black sweatpants and a bandana. Karl and Q both send a simple "Hey babe" over to him before he kisses them both on the cheek and goes back to their room to change. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Charlie had found plenty of things for their new room on their outing. Some were more basic teen things like a cell phone, face soap, some simple school clothes, stuff like that. While some were more catered to want Charlie liked, Lego bricks, bed sheets with dinosaurs on them, shoes that lite up when you walked on them. As soon as they got home Charlie began decorating their new room was bright posters and toys, their dads watched from the door way. Yeah, they could get used to this.

With Karl and his adorable laugh that Quackity always teased

Sapnap and the Southern drawl that stuck out between words of whom Karl would lightheartedly mock

And even Quackity, whom Sapnap would always kiss on the forehead just to make him melt

And you?

You never thought much about how each of them would put endless amounts of care into how they held you at your worst moments and how they'd smile, lovestruck, at your best.

Each and every time that you felt this way, like an extra puzzle piece that just dodnt quite fit, they'd always seem to catch on, no matter how much you denied yourself the relief to believe it

And they'd instantly begin planning the perfect you day.

Each would plan to gift you something that tailored just to the inner workings of your personal relationship with the individuals, and they knew how your heart melted at the gifts.

As the day approached that they decided they'd set aside, your mood began to worsen. You felt as if they were hiding something, and as if that something was a day where you were no longer in the picture.

No more of Karl's tight and comforting hugs

No more of the nights were you and Sap were left alone in your shared house, and you'd both end up in hysterics at some stupid, stupid cat videos.

And even no more of Quackity's heartfelt "I love you"s that he barely handed out.

By the time the day arrived, you got more miserable every time any of the boys kissed you or even told you they loved you. Because it didnt feel like they did.

With their little secrets, and their excited looks to each other that you caught at the breakfast table that you interpreted, oh, so wrongly

As soon as breakfast was over, Karl grabbed you by your right hand and began dragging you, Sapnap grabbing your left, and Quackity smiling with his hand gentle on you shoulder.

They led you out to your own personal Party Island, with your favorite colors scattered everywhere, and your favorite animals trapped on rollercoasters, the poor things.

You almost fell to tears at how happy you were that they put so much damn effort into making you something this grand. This thoughtful.

After excitedly bouncing around, showing you each and every nook and cranny of the place, Karl stood in front of you rocking on his toes back and forth.

His hands were held behind his back, you able to assume that there was something there.

He quickly brought it around and showed you a gorgeous purple chained necklace with his signature teal swirl on a pendant.

Just for you

You brought your hands to your mouth and almost began sobbing at how much you realized that they cared as Sapnap and Quackity hugged you from your sides, and Karl came bounding forward into your arms

After you had calmed down, and a slick joke from Quackity, he had presented you with his signature poker chip, but you flipped it over and it had a heart on the back. Your favorite color.

It was inspired by a conversation you both had long ago. But he remembered.

You smiled wide, absolutely grateful for the keepsake that would have its place on your bedside table.

And finally, Sapnap kissed you sweetly before he pulled out a bandana with your element on it.

Your face was frozen in a perma-grin from how happy your boys had made you, and how much you realized they actually did care.

They doused you with love and made sure to hold you just a bit tighter as the fell asleep later that night.

You were exhausted from spending the day at (Y/N)'s Party Island, but at least you went to sleep knowing that you were apart of the group.

A random headcanon: he’s a goat hybrid but didn’t know until the manberg era when schlatt made some comments about it. because he didn’t know his parents, he could only go off his traits and he (as well as everyone else) thought he was a moobloom hybrid, especially because his hair was naturally blonde as a kid before it started darkening.

But dude! Every section of this fandom really so different and yet so similar in how they treasure their faves--y'know what I'm gonna gush and gossip on my blog I might as well call out some particularly biased folks who follow me

Innitblr and Dreblr are so fucking funny to me, they hate each other and yet have immaculate hcs but also just conflicting interpretations of the narrative?? they are all specimens, the lot of them (i cheekily eye the warrior cats inniter and the one with the luigi icon from innitblr and that fluffy soft dream artist + that person who kickstarted dream eating the prison pets hc; you four are fun but tempting to stuff in a room together)

Crimeboys and Rivals duo enthusiasts scare me, i like both dynamics but holy shit guys

I wish Happyduo/Badlands tumblr were louder why are they always in nooks and crannies or maybe i'm not looking hard enough idk; same goes for ppsat stans and i guess tirettwt stans to some degree

Feral boys enjoyers are cool, though imo out of most of the circles in dsmpblr, they're the most tropey with hcs and aus? idk, but a good lot take from impressions compared to sbi-centric fans who seem more in-depth when hc and au creating; not a criticism, just an observation
