I know my blog pfp and header seem to indicate that I am Thranduil-centered, and that is technically true. But the reality is my simping heart actually belongs primarily to Eomer/Karl Urban and Boromir/Sean Bean. I have definitely enough shitsimp posts to prove it. And a humble fic here and there.

the two guys in my header are hollywood actors karl urban and jack quaid who play billy butcher and hughie campbell in the boys and oh do i have Thoughts and Feelings

so. butcher

he's murdered many people in terrible ways. he has one of the worst british accents on television. he exclusively wears horrible hawaiian shirts. he has an incredibly homoerotic relationship with hughie. he is stinky. he canonically does not wash his hands after he's had a piss. but he has a really nice beard and a sad backstory and i need him carnally

i'd die for him. hughie used to work in retail then he had a Really Bad Day and now he has killed several times and he will kill again. he is the bisexual-covered-in-blood character of all time. he loves his girlfriend but he loves billy joel more. his mental health is terrible. nearly all his pals have seen him nude. writers got a bit lost with him towards the end of s3 but we'll get there. he and butcher took superhero drugs together and did some murders and should've kissed. name a more iconic duo (you can't)

How do my rec lists work?

For those of you that are new here this is how my weekly rec lists work. 

98% of what I read is reader inserts. Those all fall into fandom and then character. The only ones that go under fandom are characters that I specifically follow, i.e. Jim Kirk, Bones McCoy, Steve Rogers, Tony DiNozzo, etc.

If your story ended up in a Misc. Fandom. Its because I a) dont read that character generally (Bucky Barnes has been doing this lately with cuteness and being a dad), b) its an oc (original character) c) I don’t have enough of a fandom to constitute its own category.

If a character is not under their fandom they fell into a trope. And I love tropes. Hence my URL. So those are special and get their own categories.

Sometimes we get lucky and I will have enough stories of a particular actor and his characters to get his own list. This has happened with Karl Urban and Chris Evans got his own header. 

And yes sometimes the same author will appear multiple times. I follow them. I love their stories. If you arent on the list it means I haven’t found you yet or I had a hard time reading the story or it was an imagine (which tend to be less than 500 words) and not a one-shot (which is my preferred reading). For the most part I add everything I read. And like @kaitymccoy123 pointed out once. I READ A LOT!!!!  I rarely don’t add a story. 

You are welcome to tag me in your stories. But I would prefer just stories of people I follow. I don’t follow everyone in a fandom. You can see who I follow and read here. You are also welcome to recommend someone. I will post their master list one time on the weekly reading list.
