LOVING all this you x oso content BUT could you do me the honor of explainin what exactly the Pinefield AU is?

Of course! I’ll try my best to explain it, since there really isn’t much about it apart from the characters. The au came from the hesokuri wars set, they’re also called Musical Matsus. I believe it i set in a high school or university, between either the 70s or the 80s hence why their styles are very vintage. The matsus are all called Pinefields now, since i think this is set in an American School Musical type of thing and all of them are associated with a stereotype of the people you see in school. Osomatsu is Orson the Slacker, Karamatsu is Karl (or Karla for some) the Geek, Choromatsu is Charlie the Brains, Ichimatsu is Itchy the Goth, Jyushimatsu is Juicy the Freak and Todomatsu is Todd the Messenger. Other characters like Iyami is the principle, Dayon and Dekapan are the jocks, and Totoko is the queen bee. 

That’s pretty much it. There isn’t a lot of lore behind it, but it’s pretty much one of my favorite aus in the fandom, since I like Musicals, the design of the characters and the overall vintage school aesthetic. Hope that clears it up :v
