Why does Karl have to be so damn cute? I swear, he was sleeping on the couch with Rose sleeping on his lap and when he woke up he looked at me with this helpless little look. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "she's so small, I need up but she's so small and I don't want to move her." Had to convince him that it's okay to pick her up and move her, only for him to get up, stretch, pick her back up, lay down instead, and then cuddle her to his chest and go back to sleep.

Even after many years I still absolutely love how Old Shatterhand and Winnetou resemble Yin-Yang. They are so different and yet so perfect together! <3 <3 - Dark, straight shiny bluish-black hair vs ruffled, short, blonde ones. - Velvety almost black eyes vs sparkling blue - A son of a prominent chief vs a man who grew up in a very poor environment - Native American vs white German - Man with no family left vs man with many siblings and both parents still alive - Man of faith in Manitou vs Christian - One who speaks only when necessary vs one whose job is bound with words Despite all the differences they deeply love each other to the moon and back, they share values like friendship, honor, truth, and kindness, they both are brave and courageous, but at the same time empathetic, open-minded, caring, strong yet sometimes fragile... I love their dynamics absolutely, the way they were able to even get over the fact Winnetou attempted to kill Old Shatterhand only to be the first one after the fight to take care of the nearly fatal wound caused by his own hand. There are tons of wonderful moments between them in the books. I really think when they have to part for some time, be it when OS leaves for other travels, or they are separated by circumstances, it nearly physically hurts them, because they are meant to be "one warrior in two bodies". Alright, end of my rant about OSW, because I would be able to write 10 pages in half an hour about how perfect they are :-D :-D :-D

it's 6am on a sunday and remus's alarm rings. on his left someone grumbles something like "way to fucking early" and buries deeper into the covers. on his right someone turns around in their sleep. he untangles himself from the sheets and limbs and goes to the kitchen. he opens the fridge, takes out a yogurt, a beer, and a ziplock bag. from the cupboards he grabs two bowls, spoons, and oatmeal. he sits down on the table, sets both bowls before him. the mossy contents of the ziplock bag go in the left. the oatmeal in the right. he spoons yogurt in both of them, one for the left, one for the right, until he's satisfied. he opens the beer, takes a sip and then fills some of it in the left. he stirs both bowls, thinking about his moss graffiti tour today. he's curious how karl moss XIV is faring this week, he has high hopes for that one. he thinks it was his best one yet. if he had finally mastered karl moss, perhaps he could try his hand at friedmoss engels next? or perhaps a shared portrait of both if he was feeling bold? absentminedly he lifts the spoon to his mouth and takes a bite. he chews for a few seconds, then stops. it tastes green. he scrambles to the sink and spits it out.

greek mythology au returns. concept sketches of the girls

1: sphinx alcina (alina) and her harpy daughters

Alina was once a noblewoman and musician singing Athena’s praises, until the goddess herself offered rich rewards if she would serve her. Upon accepting, Athena turned her into a sphinx and took her to the first of the islands where she would gather treasures from all the warriors she killed.

2: aphrodite mia and athena miranda

Athena lost her daughter Pallas (eva), an aspiring warrior/hero, when she accidentally killed her during training. Afterwards she was deep in grief and fiercely jealous of Zeus’s demigod children getting promoted to gods and living peacefully on Olympus, so she created monsters to lure forth any warrior good enough to take as her own (meanwhile, she runs the same trick on the monsters, telling them that if they serve her and kill the unworthy they will have a place with her among the pantheon).

Aphrodite, infamous for her vanity, paradoxically took a liking (entirely platonic for the purpose of this au) to Elias (ethan) when he was young because of his beauty and gave him blessings throughout his life, intending to make him her servant on Olympus one day. She was Not pleased when Athena blinded/sent him off to her gauntlet of monsters and made sure the soldiers sailing him there would land on Kyril’s (karl) island where he would be relatively safe, especially from the gorgon’s stone gaze.

3: arachne donna (daphne) and angie (aretha)

Daphne was an exceptionally talented weaver, who created a tragically beautiful tapestry to cope with the loss of her family. Her craftsmanship and isolation made her the perfect candidate for Athena, who turned her into a giant spider and took her to the islands where she would serve her with her artistry as well as her newfound lethality.

4: evie and rose as the minor gods of fear and panic

The two deities were stolen away by Athena to keep as her children, as well as her prisoners. They are kept in captivity on Alina’s island (behind the gate she guards) where their powers are being used as a barrier between the archipelago and the mainland (anyone who tries to leave will be paralysed with fear and anyone who first arrives won’t have doubts about setting foot on the islands before it’s too late to turn back).
