Corona Hoshino

Corona is like class president and straight As girl and takes on too many projects and she overworks herself way too hard but she’s also really kind and caring and just wants to do her best and we love that for her [additional propaganda 1]

Karl

He’s a recurring villain and the best thing about him is that he’s weirdly obsessed with Julien. He thinks like super highly of him which is the initial main comedy of his character. Basically he keeps calling Julien a genius and worthy opponent and stuff and everyone else is like “Did he just say brilliant and Julien in the same sentence.” And he’s so dramatic it’s so great. There’s also a cockroach named Chauncey who is seemingly his boyfriend which is weird but surprisingly sweet sometimes as the show goes on lol. He’s got great running gags like that he always says “NOT YET AT LEAST” and there’s also a running joke about him just showing up in Julien’s bedroom in the middle to the night whenever he want to talk to him. Which is also just a weird mix of creepy and funny. And back to the whole thing where he seems to overestimate Julien, one of my favorite things about the show is how by the end it doesn’t feel like as much of a crazy thing because Julien does get to be surprisingly badass in this show sometimes while still being King Julien. And since that builds as the show progresses it ends up feeling like enemies like Karl are challenging him to grow and learn which makes the whole concept cool.

While I don't really like the idea that Karl just. Ditched everything and went to Florida, I get that the writers wanted to keep the continuity with the mada movies. Soooo we have to deal with it I guess!

Because he's not plotting anything anymore, he's probably just chilling somewhere on a inflantable mattress, and his markings look very much like a mustache..... So he got a song about a guy with huge mustache chilling on a mattress (and is a local superstar because of it) ;P - Materacci by Norbi

And yes I wanted to draw Chauncey too but i can never get him right so he's a spinning roach-

Weird details and insane things in All Hail King Julien part 2:

Mort's interest in Julien's feet is explicitly sexual

The main villain of the show, Karl, is very obviously in a relationship with a male cockroach named Chauncey. They keep kissing on screen and talking about how much they love each other. They're exclusively referred to as "best friends".

All characters are seemingly Jewish, and use Yiddish phrases and are seen celebrating Hanukkah.

Every character is bisexual and I am not exaggerating. The only exception is Ted who doesn't seem to be attracted to women despite having a wife.

Amelia Earhart's body is in Julien's castle (which itself is a crashed plane)

Most characters are obsessed with Spring Break

Theme 9 Redemption

for today's theme I decided to write about a certain fanfic titled

"Have Yourself a Merry Julien Christmas" by GregTheGroovy

this is a finished fic and additionally a Christmas themed fic, I highly recommend reading it especially since there will be spoilers in this analysis

but first what is this fic about

snow fell in the kingdom (and it is never explained how it happened, it just fell and that's it, and it didn't melt throughout the story) after King Julien found out from Timo what this white thing was he also found out about a human holiday called Christmas and was so interested in it that he decided to take this Christmas and share it with the whole kingdom by organizing various Christmas games and fun for the next few days

ok now that you know what this fic is about, go read it because this is where the spoilers start

this is your last warning

during the game KJ and the rest have a little fun in battle Karl appeared on the snow and spoiled their fun hoping for another confrontation with his greatest nemesis King Julien, in short it ended with Karl falling in a flying chair into a frozen lake and Karl and Chauncey almost drowned which shocked Karl a lot, King Julien said a few harsh words in anger towards Karl who ran away after that

some time later King Julien felt bad about what he said and wanted to apologize to Karl for those harsh words, which was overheard by Chauncey who was sent by Karl to spy

the next day during Christmas dinner Karl met King Julien and they had a heart to heart talk during which Karl admitted that he always envied King Julien for having friends and King Julien apologized to him for ignoring him in the lemur school, and they reached an agreement that Karl would take the path of a villain and King Julien proposed to him friendship

some time later King Julien and the gang have a serious problem and Karl is instrumental in solving it (even if the kingdom will never know about it)

I'll say this because I like the Karl-Mageddon episode and the idea that King Julien outsmarted Karl

this fic is on a completely different level and is a great redemption story for Karl

and the bonus redemption at the end of the fic Crimson appeared in it, and she and Clover had a heart-to-heart with each other that maybe they'll try to bury the hatchet between them and take the first step to healing their relationship,

so two redemptions in one fic

Frog

This guy is like Dr. Lobe from Big Brain Academy if he were a frog and from an obscure spot the difference game. At the end of every level, he calculates your brain performance and gives you a grade based on how well you did. He's also somewhat passive-aggressive. For example, if you do badly, he might ask if you got enough sleep last night. If you do really badly, he'll look at you with a horrified look on his face, but sadly I couldn't find a picture of that sprite anywhere online.

Madaparty Theme 2 - Villains

I never posted this here! 😱 I drew this in September but hey it fits Madaparty! I was admiring screenshots of Karl and I just thought "God, he's so beautiful" and felt randomly inspired to draw him! The background is a scenic shot from the show I don't remember which episode. His head's a little too big... I also just fixed his cute little "mustache" b/c it wasn't accurate. Anyway Karl is best villain and I relate to him and I can fix him and yeah

I'm answering some asks later on today (it's 1am so it's already today) and my goodness someone just gave me the idea that in the Alive AU the reader kind of has the same relationship with Wally that King Julien and Karl have (from All Hail King Julien) and I can not unsee it.

Like the reader is just trying to sleep and Wally just teleports or somehow shows up in their bed talking about their evil plots seductively and the reader is like "Please get out, you're scaring me. (⁠｡⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠)" But Wally just continues, acting like this is all normal or like he's done this before.

I need to draw a comic on this I'm laughing so hard right now.
