Thoughts on Descendants 4 the rise of red…..

Can’t even lie, they had me in the beginning, they popped off with that first song and the nod to Cameron Boyce and lmao it sorta lowkey went downhill from there but also didn’t?

You can clearly see that Kenny Ortega did not have anything to do with this movie lmao like sorry but I wasn’t feeling it, I think there was 2 songs that the group dancing actually went off, but other than that? Nope not for me lol it seemed like a jumble of nothing happening, and that is probably just me comparing it to the first three movies too much but yeah

Also, the plot was like super fast, we didn’t get to see the big prank that created the queen of hearts villain, we didn’t get to see enough of the villain kids at Merlin Academy, we didn’t get to see or hear about anything in between, like what did the Queen of Hearts to do make wonderland the only kingdom to not be welcome in Auradon? And like I get the ominous ending but like idk it felt like it was missing something. But my god I WISH we saw more of the VKs like I’m telling you, I’d watch a whole show of young Hades, Maleficent, Uliana, Hook and Morgie(is that his name? Lol) anyways yeah it was rushed imo, it was shorter than the first three movies too I think, and maybe by only 15 minutes, but that extra few minutes in the first three movies really helped

So I’m about to point out some plot holes so don’t mind me lol

-Chad being Chloe’s older brother but also that he got into university lmao. Are we assuming he’s adopted? Because Chad is white boy blond hair Chad, and as much as I love that Brandy and Paolo were Cinderella and Charming again, it wasnt exactly adding up. That and why did he randomly get a sister? Was she ever mentioned before this movie? And how did this boy get into university? They mentioned tourney so maybe an athletic scholarship lmao

-Hades and Maleficent are clearly together at Merlin Academy, yet it’s a secret that he’s Mals dad, wouldn’t they all like know lol? Uliana is Ursula’s little sister, and Hades and Maleficent are part of her crew, so she clearly knows, and Fairy godmother/Fae, went to school with them, but even she didn’t clock it???

-Aladdin and Jasmine are there, but Jafar isn’t, which fair, but they are specifically mentioned and shown, but I can’t even lie, what purpose did they serve? The plot would not have changed with or without them? Also, they looked much older than all the other characters so idk, it just felt off to me.

One of my unpopular opinions on the eras tour, is that I think everyone should be allowed to feel fucking bitter and annoyed if they were never able to go to the concert of a lifetime, while other people went to over 20. Like okay cool I’m happy you got to go, but I’m pissed as hell that I never got a chance, both can be true but y’all are assholes and always have a bone to pick when people are upset for things that you don’t have the mental capacity to understand so you’re not ready for that conversation

They actually had me at historical drama and the horse part was just a bonus

More Descendants 4: Rise of Red lol

The songs slap, at first, only the first song really stuck with me, but after watching it a million times they’re all actually good. I think life is sweeter was giving final song energy, like how set it off and break this down did. The only thing I will say, is I still don’t like the choreography of fight of our lives, not sure why, just didn’t love it

Chloe’s goddamn wig. It bothers me so much because I swear ever scene she’s got a different one, and like ???? What was the reason?

Uma reprising what’s my name, iconic. My only question about that, is where are Harry and Gil? Harry is supposed to be her first mate, and she’s got a bunch of pirates with her, but those two aren’t there. I know Gil wanted to travel with Jay, so fine, but Harry Hook would’ve been great because we get to see Young Hook in the past

Uliana. What is/was her fate in present time? We know Ursula had Uma, and so she’s obviously Uma’s aunt, but like, what if she never became a villain after school and wasn’t on the isle? (Wishful thinking I know) but is her present ever mentioned? Did I miss it lol?

We never see Anastasia or Drizella, and I wish we had seen at least Drizella because I loved Dizzy so much

When Chloe and Red get back to present time, wouldn’t everyone recognize them from the past? Everyone they interacted with? Ella and Bridget, Jasmine and Aladdin, Charming, Fair Godmother. I guess we only saw a few minutes of them after they returned to the present so maybe that’s what Chloe and Cinderella are thinking when they find each other at the end.

Also last thing for now, the casting was really good, for present and young actors. Like Fae and Fairy Godmother, Jasmine and Aladdin, Charming and Prince Charming, Hook and Harry even though Harry wasn’t in this one.

I love the scream franchise, but I honestly hate everyone whos apart of the fandom because like how are the same fucking people who “boycotted” scream 5 because of the new cast and new direction, the same fucking people who LOVED scream 6 and are now claiming to boycott scream 7 because the new cast isn’t apart of it???? Don’t get me wrong I was kinda pissed about the new cast at first, but scream 5 was great imo, the killer reasons were stupid as hell, but it was still a good movie, and scream 6, while I hate that Neve Campbell wasn’t apart of it because they didn’t feel like paying her enough for carrying the entire franchise for decades, Melissa and Jenna and everyone else was amazing. I disagree with the reasons why the new cast arent involved with scream 7, and I wish that they were because I enjoyed their characters, but at the same time I am also very excited to see Sidney Prescott in the new movie.

Summing up my rant; I think that both can be true, you can be excited about the new movie while not liking a lot of the decisions that were made, same as scream 5

Lmao so @netflix cancelled dead boy detectives after it was in the top 10 for 3 weeks, but after one week of nobody wants this, they renew it? Ridiculous. The show literally is called what everyone is thinking lmao

@netflix seems to hate: Sci Fi, Fantasy, younger casts, breakout actors, high school settings, and pretty much anything that doesn’t appeal to older millennials.

We got 7 whole seasons of Pretty Little Liars, and did it all make sense? No. Was the ending over the top insane? Yes. Do I still rewatch it every chance I get? Yes.

We got 9 seasons of One Tree Hill. 4 of those seasons were set in high school, and after that, you still had the high school as a main setting because they worked at the school. These are the shows that people still watch, and these are the types of shows that people want, not stupid one season 6 episode shows that get cancelled on a cliff hanger.

Terrifier 3 was rated 18+, so why did these parents bring their baby and toddler to see it 🤨😂 lmao like first of all, baby was crying louder than the movie volume, and the toddler would not shut the fuck up????

Like I’m not saying parents need to stay home all the time cause they have kids, but like time and fucking place, if you know your kid can’t be quiet during a movie setting, that’s definitely not a children’s movie, or your baby is too young to not scream and cry 24/7, why did you bring them to a movie theatre? Just cause you don’t care how loud and annoying they are, doesn’t mean everyone else who paid for the movie also doesn’t care

I just finished shadowhunters again, and I’ve got questions

*SPOILERS*

Okay so when Clary’s memories of the shadow world disappear, in the one year later, everyone’s basically all like yeah it’s hard to stay away from her blah blah blah it’s against the angels wishes to try and fix it but it’s all good cause we’ve all got happy endings except for Jace who doesn’t accept it obviously

My first question: Simon was part of her world before the Shadow world, why couldn’t he have still been apart of her world? Same with Luke? I get that she didn’t have the sight anymore, but don’t the downworlders just appear as regular humans anyways so Simon definitely could’ve still been in her life right? Luke I guess cause he’s a shadowhunter it makes it more complicated? Idk like I kinda wanna know what exactly her memories are? Does she think Simon is dead like his mom does? What does she think happens to her mom and dot and Luke?

Second question: clary literally went against the angels multiple times to protect and save and help her friends who are all living their best life, why didn’t they do the same for her LOL like I know they risked a lot to save her before too but idk I feel like they definitely could’ve done something

Third question: why did they cancel this and end it like that because I literally needed more than her being like “you’re Jace right?” With a knowing look like how are you gonna do that to me and end it there? I needed her and Izzy to become parabatais and reconnect with everyone especially Simon and I needed Magnus to call her biscuit again and Alec to give her that relieved hug like how Clarke gives Bellamy in the 100 😬

Finally finally finally finished riverdale and like I knew it was a joke LOL but damn the entire last season was hard to watch, and the ending fcked me up.

First of all, they killed fangs??? 4 weeks after high school???? How could they do that to him???

Second of all, the quad relationship LMFAO what the hell was that? Like I remember when the finale first aired and everyone was talking about this but I forgot bc it’s been so long and I just can’t.

Also the fact that Betty read about jughead dying when she was 86yo, like wdym she found out in the newspaper??? Did she cut off all her friends because she got older and didn’t end up with either jughead or Archie??? Why didn’t she stay in touch???

Also also WHY did the series end, focus on Betty???? The show is based off the Archie comics, and if anything it should’ve been him.

Speaking of Archie, you’re telling me that after all the nonsense he put up with, defending riverdale, saving riverdale, he just up and leaves and never turns back??? That’s crazy

It feels like, the show had gotten so dark and incohesive, that they had to reset and make everything light and happy and weird af but they made it even more unorganized and jumbled

I finally was able to watch pll summer school and I’m like halfway through but did anyone else skip the fuck out of Jen cause I promise y’all, if she wasn’t ever introduced, they probably would’ve been renewed for season 3 LOL her character is bland and annoying and she adds pretty much nothing to the show, other than to give Noa some screen time I guess? But even if she only had screen time with the rest of the girls, it would’ve been enough.

Also, does anyone find that they hyperfocused on mouse a lot? Not that I mind, I like her, but if I have to hear her say spooky spaghetti 6 times in a single sentence I’m gonna start skipping her too
