Two Decembers ago, I was in a hotel room with my sister, and we were just talking about the fics. I went over an idea I had for a Teen Titans fic. I had loosely plotted it out, but I didn't actually plan to write it. It would be a lot and much more story heavy then I've done before. But my sister, she thought what I had down was very good. Heck she encouraged me to file off the serial numbers and just write it straight. I didn't really want to do that. I wanted this to be fan fiction, but she still encouraged me to write it. So here we are at the end of one of the longest things I've ever written. So thanks Sis. This fic is your fault!

#she showed up in a webtoon i love recently 👀 do share pls

VIXEN NYC on webtoons. It has a lot of side characters from Teen Titans and outsiders comics including: Karen Breecher (Bumble Bee), Grace Choi, and Anissa Pierce (Thunder). They are younger versions of the characters, Vixen as well but it's a delight to see them all interacting with one another. Beast Boy and Raven both show up from time to time too. There is some interesting lore aspects on how Beast Boy and Vixens powers both interact with the red. The mythos they build around Vixens power is fun. The god anansi shows up and his trickster god character is great and I love his design. The webcomic also remembers the scientist aspect of Karen's character from the comics so its real fun to see her use her brains.

Total recommendation from me. Now I'm just waiting for my boy Mal Duncan to show up. If you know silver age Teen Titans, you know why I'm hyping him up.

This may be wrong, I sincerely hope I'm wrong but i saw a review of the TTG-DC Superhero Girls crossover say that DC Superhero Girls is cancelled? No more episodes after this season! Ugh so not cool! 

Yes, initially I was one of the naysayers,and didn't like the animation but then I actually watched it. I mean high school au is cliche but there's a reason it's popular. Plus it offered new ways to see the characters like Katana and Wonder Woman as training buddies, awesome. Oliver Queen as a literal drama queen, hilarious. 

And it is genuinely funny like when the girls had to fight off a kraen and the only advice Wondy's aunt had to stop it was "We need to sacrifice a beautiful maiden. Here, you all shall draw straws." Plus there was just the fun combinations of when superheroes have a conflict between driving test and stopping a robbery. Or transforming into a new alternate alternate superhero to get good publicity. 

Plus it has started some very intriguing long standing developments like Supergirl's relationship with Superman, Batgirl and Harley Quinn's civilian friendship is at odds with their extracurricular activities, and-

Zee Zatara's light and dark magic. This is the most interesting one especially how her mom is apparently infused with dark magic and abandoned the family and now Zee has her own worries about her dark side taking over. If they don't resolve this because they got freaking cancelled, I'm going to be very annoyed. 

So someone, please tell me I'm wrong.

Fancast of the day: Yindra Zayas as Karen Breecher!

Bumblebee is one of the smartest characters in the DC Universe and was one of the first Black superheroines to appear in the pages of a DC Comic. Karen has largely been underutilized, but her younger version has been relatively popular in the Teen Titans and DC’s Super Hero Girls. I believe a fresh face should take on the role and potentially make Bumblebee one of the most iconic Black superheroines in the DC Universe. Afro-Cuban actress Yindra Zayas doesn’t have many credits to her name, but she is a bright and charismatic actress with great potential.

Looking to buy some comics of my girl Bumblebee

So I am trying to grow my collection of comics and would really like to find more comics with a focus on DC's bumblebee. I know she was published in teen titians however if anyone knows any specific issues where there is a more focus on her character can you please let a sister know!

Maybe I shouldn't but I just feel the need to say something, cause if I don't it will just fester and rot inside of me.

WTF is up with Raquel and Karen in this show?

Raquel gets brought into the team last minute so we don't even get any character development with her. Now she show's up in the new season for two seconds and is engaged.  Is she gonna get into a battle as a member of the Justice League? Are we gonna see this mystery man/woman that she is engaged too? (No it's not Icon...how anyone could think that is beyond me.) We know from the comics that Amistad exists, will he be animated like Lian was? I get it. The show is more plot than character driven, but if you ain't gonna use her why put her on the team? There had to be a better way to recap at the end of season one than to drag on a new character. This was her first animated appearance and it was a waste of my time as a Milestone Comic's fan.

And Karen...Well aesthetically I don't understand why they got rid of her natural hair. Even if she got rid of the puffs I don't see why she would suddenly start chemically treating her hair. The most I can think of is that the character designers don't know jack squat bout black women and their hair. Which isn't surprising, but really....It's not that hard to come up with animation friendly alternatives to the puffs.

And this thing with Mal...They need to show her side of the story, whatever it is, stat! I guess they want us to dislike her for some special reveal later, but it's just bugging me that she's gonna get all this hate because the writers are choosing to hold back. I'm even seeing folks wondering if she's cheating on Mal. Ugh.

Yeah I'm glad we are all worried about Kaldur being in a brain dead state. Yes I'm ecstatic that Virgil is on the show, and Mal was wonderful this episode, but can the sisters get a little love? I mean damn.
