Idk if you do ""fandom request"" (feel free to ignore this if you don't)
but you're actually the first one I heard to bring up Audrey Redheart from Wandersong being kind of NPD coded and honestly as somebody who enjoys character analysis n psychology, I'd really love to hear you go more in-depth on this or just your thoughts on her as a character in general.
...It's a little rare to actually find a discussion about her that doesn't gloss over massive parts of her character or is either a very biased hatepost so, sorry if it seems a little weird that I'm coming to you specifically for this 😭
Well uhhh, you ARE kinda outta luck cuz I wuz mostly looking at her from a surface level as well-(Mostly cuz I haven’t played Wandersong in a hot minute- BUT I can go off wut I can remember if it helpz!!(I’m not an expert on NPD though so beware-)
I mostly got the idea from how Audrey presentz herself, being VERY high n mightly. She feelz a constent need to announce dat she’z the hero to save the world from doomsday and te ppl from EVRYWHERE praise her from that fact!! They likely didn’t even know te world wuz ending until she said it JUST to get an extra amount of praise. Hell, during act 5 in Rulle she wuz just sanding with a crowd as they praised her!! It’z canon that she only actz as a hero as she likez holding the title of it while being rude n snarky to anyone who getz in her way. Along with that iz her fear of telling Eyella abt her fear of ending the world as she feearz that it could cause her to lose her sword n therefore her title. Audrey luvz the highz of being a hero as it makez her feel special, especially considering her life before becoming the hero(And as sm1 w/ NPD and who az been VERY attention deprived I can relate-) She luvz being the hero cuz she luvz the attention she getz for it n liek- idk how to end thiz sooo YIPEEEEE!! Also ye I take fandom requestz, I luv when ppl ask methingz of request me thingz X3!!
