I hc Galaretka (Warsaw Jelly) as Alonzo and Kara Kotek's (Carbucketty) aunt. They are her older brother's children but due to how the age gaps got spread out they don't really see her as their aunt

Alonzo was born when Gala was just becoming an adult and he was raised by her parents/his grandparents Gus and Karmelka (my oc). Because of that they see each other more like cousins and are pretty close as adults

On the other hand Kara was born very close to her oldest kitten, and since her parents were getting too old to care for a little kitten, she took them in and raised them as her own. Because of that Kara sees Galaretka and Semaforro (Skimble) as their parents, and his cousins Promyczek (Jemima) and Klaps (Tumble) as their siblings

So. I know one of these already exists. BUT. I'm doing another. because i can

Old London Swings (pre-Revival, mostly late 80s and the 90s) Greycat/Hysperia/NBQ (nameless brown queen)- Greycat was sometimes known as NBQ, it depended on her costume, which ranged from grey to tan. Hysperia is a different cat who has sometimes been called NBQ by fans even though she isn't Greycat/NBQ AJ- "Almost Jemima". And now the mindfuck that is alternatives: Bill Bailey/Tumblebrutus- Bill Bailey originated in the original London production. Tumblebrutus was used instead of him on Broadway and in the 1998 film (the latter to maintain international something or other). In the 98 film it was Bill Bailey under the name Tumblebrutus. Carbucketty/Pouncival- Carbucketty originated in the original London production. As with Bill Bailey/Tumblebrutus, Pouncival was used instead of his London counterpart on Broadway and in the 1998 film. In the 98 film it was Carbucketty under the name Pouncival. Pouncival/George- the 2014 London Palladium production included a third male kitten aside from Carbucketty and Bil Bailey named Pouncival, who's design was actually much closer to the original London George character than to Carbucketty.

Quaxo/Mistoffelees- Big mindfuck! In UK-style productions, the performer is credited as Quaxo up until his song, where he is revealed to be The Magical Mr. Mistoffelees. This is usually explained as Mr. Mistoffelees being Quaxo's stage name. However, in some productions they're completely different cats, with Quaxo using a totally different design. Also, as Quaxo/Misto used to dance a tap dance duel against Jennyanydots while dressed as the lead beetle. Because of this, all pre-revival London productions attached the name Quaxo to the lead tap dancing beetle regardles of whether or not it was played by Mistoffelees. Plato/Admetus- Even bigger mindfuck! Admetus was the original double for Macavity in London and I think London-based prodctions still use Admetus. Plato is the Broadway version of the same cat. The Plato you see in the 1998 film is the Admetus design. Plato's design originally had a lot of brown and grey but since the 98 film, which used the Admetus design, you get a lot of "Admetus costume and makeup but named Plato". In productions where Plato is the Macavity double, the name Admetus is sometimes used for a swing (this is common in Australian-style productions) Admetus/George- This one is purely to do with the 98 film. Frank Thompson was credited with playing the Rumpus Cat and Admetus. Fans assumed the cat who was actually using the George design was Admetus, but it is unknown if the renaling of the George design to Admetus was intentional or not. Jemima/Sillabub- Jemima originated from the original London production but was renamed Sillabub in the US and in US-based prosuctions to avoid any negative racial connotations. Since then, the name Sillabub is used more often outside of Europe, though in productions where Sillabub is used as the principle version, the name Jemima is sometimes used for a female swing. Jemima is a named swing in the China 2012 and Shiki productions.

Other names There are two names in Old Possum's that haven't been used in any production (that I know of): James and Cat Morgan. Then there's Socrates, who is exclusive to the 2019 film.

There are many, many, more unnamed swings, but this is a compiled list of named swings.

I was inspired to make a list of all the swing cats I’ve come across in different productions, partially from a post @the-cat-at-the-theatre-door​ made.  These are all the babies I was able to collect!

For the London swings, we have Greycat (who was apparently named Hysperia at one point), NBQ, AJ, Tabbygirl, Patches, a female and male version of Calico, Caramel, Victor, and the Walking Cover.

For the Broadway swings we have Spike, older versions of Greycat and NBQ and AJ, and a handful of nameless cats.

For the China 2012 production, we have Grumbuskin, Murad, Noilly Prat, Olivia, and Quaxo (the latter four have shown up in different productions such as the Australasia and World Tours).

The Gothenburg 2006 production gives us Isis, Ramses, Garbo, and Shakespeare.  They also have swings named Agustus, Moses, Savannah, and Tintomara, but I was unable to find pictures of them.

The Warsaw 2004 production gives us Fraszka, Fantasia, Sierściuch, and Zyleta/Kocik le Miau.  They also have swings named Angelika, Mamrotka, Turbo Ptys, Menello Bianco, and Kara Kotek, but they also don’t have pictures available.

The Tecklenburg 2015 production has a frankly ridiculous amount of swings, but the “main” ones--the ones who take bows with the main cast--have been named Rocketta, Eris, Barnaby, Buttons, Bonzo, and Mab (shout-out to @rumplteazer​ for coming up with them!).  The rest are just part of the circus background chorus.

From the Thunerseespiele 2017 production, we have Ishtar, Luna, Roxy (based on a hashtag suggestion from the actress’s Instagram), and another handful of unnamed swings.

The 2003 World Tour gave us Jonathan.

And the 2009 Italian Tour gave us Caligola, as well as an unpictured swing named Paride who apparently resembles Asparagus with a Cassandra-style rolled wig.

If anyone knows of another other swings I was unable to find, or if anyone can find pictures of the others I mentioned, feel free to add on!

Dzisiaj dość smutny temat, a raczej smutny i wk#rwiający jednocześnie. Ostatnio internet obiegła relacja jednego, młodocianego zwyrodnialca, który katował swojego kota, bił, wieszał za łapy kablem od suszarki i dalej się na nim znęcał.

Ja widząc to na przerwie w pracy o mało nie dostałam zawału, zrobiło mi się słabo… Jakim trzeba być sk#rwielem by zrobić coś takiego? Gdzie byli inny domownicy i dlaczego nie zorientowali się że z pupilem jest cos nie tak ?

Oczywiście, dzięki Bogu internauci zaczęli udostępniać posty i w końcu się udało złapać sprawcę, postawić mu zarzuty a kotem zajęły się odpowiednie ręce. Kotek żyje ale jego stan nie jest najlepszy i nie ma się co dziwić po tym co przeszedł.

Sama posiadam kota i nie jestem w stanie opisać tego, co bym zrobiła i czuła, gdy stałaby mu się jakakolwiek krzywda. Ogólnie nigdy nie byłabym w stanie skrzywdzić żadnego zwierzęcia.

One też mają uczucia!

Posypała się lawina komentarzy, że 5 lat więzienia to dla niego za mało, że trzeba zrobić z nim to samo co on zrobił kotu. Byłam tego samego zdania, jednak czy stając się takimi samymi zwyrodnialcami będziemy od niego lepsi? Z pewnością nie.

Jego kara powinna być znacznie większa niż te 5 lat, które i tak będą w zawiasach. Nie wiem jak dalej potoczy się ta sprawa ale mam nadzieję, że jak i sprawca, jak i osoby niereagujące na dziejącą się krzywdę, zapłacą za to co zrobili.

Oby wszyscy którzy krzywdzą bezbronne zwierzęta ponieśli zasłużoną karę.

A myślałam, że czytasz urocze fanfiki. Co do zwierzątek to tak z malutkich to chomiczek lub świnka morska albo jakiś uroczy kotek z któregi przypadkiem wyrośnie lew. A Mon zachwycony bo będzie miał własnego Simbę. Spoiler Kara po reakcji Mona na Bambi omineła 1. Bo Mon wie, że Rhea była walnięta (przed pojawieniem się) ale inni tacy nie są ma dobre serce i wierzy, że inni mają szczęście i poznał panią Danvers. I jeszcze wykupiłby wszystkie zabawki z zoologicznego. A Kara by się tylko uśmiechała.

A czytam, czytam, ale nie wszystko pamiętam ;D

Dalej sądzę że Monek najlepiej ze smokiem. Ale kot, myślę że też by pasował. Wszyscy niby że szczeniak, ale mi jakoś kicia bardziej do niego pasuje. Ale z drugiej strony chomik albo szynszyl, siedzący na ramieniu albo w kieszeni, bo nie chciał go zostawić samego w domu.pol

I'm having huge issues identifying the characters in Warsaw, do you have a list of which characters are kittens?

Hi! Figuring out who is who in Warsaw is always hard in the beginning XD

Kittens are: Victoria, Dyzio [Quaxo], Fraszka, Sierściuch, Turbo Ptyś, Menello Bianco/Filutek, Brali Daley, Bili Daley, I Tak Daley [Etcetera], Klaps [Tumblebrutus], Elektra [Electra], Mamrotka, Promyczek [Jemima], Victor and Kara Kotek [Carbucketty], with the last 3 being more on the teen side

As for their looks, most of them are here:

My Syllabub Headcanons:

She’s one of Munkustrap’s many adopted children, and she’s especially close with her sister Jemima and her uncle Mistoffelees.

She’s also very good friends with Pouncival, Rumpleteazer, and Quaxo—she’s not nearly as energetic as they are, but she loves to watch them and thinks they’re the funniest cats she knows.

She doesn’t remember very much about her parents, a fact that terrifies her a bit since one day they just... disappeared without a trace.  But all of them spoke Japanese as their first language, and she wants to keep their memory alive that way.

For a very long time, despite her adopted family’s best efforts, she felt very aware of how little she knew about the Tribe and how lonely that could be.  The older cats intimidated her, especially Jellylorum, and she found herself wishing she wasn’t an orphan so she could have a “real” family she didn’t have to prove herself to.  Old Deuteronomy was the one who dispelled that notion for her—the Junkyard would always be her home, and the cats there would always love her.  Sillabub never forgot those words, and she and Old Deuteronomy became very close.  He’s become a sort of safe space for her since she always goes to him when she feels scared or overwhelmed.

She has a number of psychic magical powers herself—she can see far enough into the future to bring hope to other cats, she can see into others’ past lives, and she can share dreams. Her celestial spirit body is the sun, effectively making her the yang to Jemima’s yin.

She has no strong feelings about her own gender; most of the time she feels like a queen, but sometimes she doesn’t.

She loves listening to any of Gus’s stories—she can’t bring herself to pick a favorite since all of them leave her absolutely spellbound by what a fascinating life he’s lived.

She’s a very precise dancer, known for her sharp movements and absolute accuracy to what was originally choreographed.

Sometimes Misto will take her along for trips along Skimbleshanks’s railway line, and she always sits at the back of the caboose so she can look out at the stars.

She’s a very curious and adventurous kitten who loves climbing on things and even other cats.  She’ll beg endlessly for piggyback rides or carry on an entire conversation hanging upside down from the bedstead like they’re monkey bars.

She’s not very fond of strangers, however, and will sit far away with a wary frown on her face until she feels they won’t hurt anyone or cause trouble.

Rococo (@rumplteazer​) is a terrible influence on her--the two will go out together in the evenings for the sole purpose of finding and mooching human desserts they really shouldn’t eat.  Syllabub might be much softer-spoken and more innocent than the pink queen, but she still thinks she’s incredibly fun to hang out with.  She just has to be careful not to repeat any of the “grown-up words” Rococo teaches her.

She was never much impressed with her Uncle Tugger, but she absolutely idolized her Aunt Bombalurina.  Talking with her helped her realize that she liked queens and not toms.

Her eventual mate is Kara Kotek, a queen from Esther’s mini-Tribe.

Czemu idioci nie korzystają z weekendu ja nie mogę bo dla mojej nóżki jest za gorąco. Mam kolejnego debila missmcgrathsnapped czepia się Krzysia. Jeśli dobrze zrozumiałam to ciśnie mi się na usta przez takich debili jak ty nie chcą aby wrócił. Tak przez 5 min. stwierdzali jakie to okropne, że aktorka skasowała insta, i wracają do znęcania się. I z magi mobilnej its-a-floki-boat, mądry kotek wiedział czego jego pani nie jest godna oglądać. Zatagowała karpia tylko co ta scena miała z tym wspólnego

Nie wiem, może u nich jest zimno i jebie żabami. U mnie chmury i 22 stopnie, w sam raz na sprzątanie, gotowanie, pranie i szorowanie łazienki.

Ta, obojgu weszłam w ogródek i nasrałam na grządki. Czekam na odzew. Wydaje mi się że oni tagują karpia bo wszystkie karpie tak uważają. He he.

Bliźniaki lemoniady :). Tak i żeby synek był tym łagodniejszym a córeczka brutalniejsza po babciach. Ale mnie to piwo trzyma :). Nawet nie potrzeba podróży w czasie nie wiadomo jak działa urządzenie do tworzenia dzieci. Zastanawia mnie kiedy procesy starzenia zaczynają hamować. Kara narazie starzeje się normalnie, podobno u Clarka już coś widać. Jej mama się niezestarzała a jej koleżanka z dzieciństwa jest z wyglądu bliżej matki niż córki. Tak samo Mon czy jeszcze starzeje się normalnie?

Dzieciaki lemoniady zwojowały by świat, kamień na kamieniu by nie został. 

Właśnie to starzenie się Kryptonian jest interesujące, bo wytłumacz mi jakim cudem Clark normalnie się rozwijał, a potem nagle przestał się starzeć w swojej 3o-letniej formie? :)

A już myślałam, że tak zwie się kotek :) A wiem jakie zwierzątka nadają się dla Mona to żółw i ara. To dość żywotne zwierzaczki dla kogoś żywotnego w sam raz. A ile było by zabawy jakby ara była gadułą :) A żółw ciągle by się gubił bo Mon nie chciałby go trzymać w akwarium a one nie��le biegają. Orany wyobraziłam sobie chomika i niechęć Mona do klatek lub ich zamykania.

(2)Coś miłego na te moje smutne przemyślenia: Mon kupiłby dla żółwia balonik i dzwoneczek, żeby ten mu się nie gubił. A nazwałby go Smok czy jak nazywają się zwierzaki od geraty :) Może jego planeta to burdel ale gerata wydaj się kosmicznym sportem bo by Kara o nim nie słyszała

Jakoś widzę Monka uczącego papugę Daxamskiego, byłby ubaw. Szczególnie jeśli klnęłaby na Karę ;D Co do żółwia… no, coś w tym jest. Chociaż widzę go bardziej z czymś kjutaśnym, co można wyściskać. Szynszyl?

Warsaw technically doesn't have swings, or at least no one was ever named as such. The usual swing and og character did occasionally cover other, usually dance heavy, roles tho (or were simply double cast as them in different runs)

Fraszka, Fantazja, Sierściuch, Kocik Le Miau, Mamrotka, Turbo Ptyś, Menello Bianco/Filutek are all Warsaw ogs

Angelika is Griddlebone, she is listed separately on cast lists as she was often played by the other Jenny actress that wasn't on stage on a given night

Kara Kotek is Carbucketty

Żyleta is the name of one of Mac's henchqueens, the other one is called Recydywa

In case of Warsaw Victor is a full ensemble character, a young tom, and was often covered by other actors

Plato/Admetus- Even bigger mindfuck! Admetus was the original double for Macavity in London and I think London-based prodctions still use Admetus. Plato is the Broadway version of the same cat. The Plato you see in the 1998 film is the Admetus design. Plato's design originally had a lot of brown and grey but since the 98 film, which used the Admetus design, you get a lot of "Admetus costume and makeup but named Plato". In productions where Plato is the Macavity double, the name Admetus is sometimes used for a swing (this is common in Australian-style productions) Admetus/George- This one is purely to do with the 98 film. Frank Thompson was credited with playing the Rumpus Cat and Admetus. Fans assumed the cat who was actually using the George design was Admetus, but it is unknown if the renaling of the George design to Admetus was intentional or not. Jemima/Sillabub- Jemima originated from the original London production but was renamed Sillabub in the US and in US-based prosuctions to avoid any negative racial connotations. Since then, the name Sillabub is used more often outside of Europe, though in productions where Sillabub is used as the principle version, the name Jemima is sometimes used for a female swing. Jemima is a named swing in the China 2012 and Shiki productions.

Other names There are two names in Old Possum's that haven't been used in any production (that I know of): James and Cat Morgan. Then there's Socrates, who is exclusive to the 2019 film.
