Archana Puran Singh discloses she took a sabbatical from films because to The Kapil Sharma Show; says, "I had to turn down a lot of film offers"
Archana Puran Singh is preparing for a hectic October. She has not only resumed her position on The Great Indian Kapil Show, but she is also making a comeback in cinema after a four-year absence. The actress will appear in the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Archana said that her extended hiatus from filming was primarily owing to the hectic schedule of The Kapil Sharma Show throughout its television run.
Tumblr media
She stated that she has received consistent film offers, including one from producer Vashu Bhagnani. However, the fast-paced nature of the comedy program left her little time to explore a film project. With the show's shift to Netflix and its new seasonal format, Archana now has the liberty to pursue film opportunities again, encouraging her to sign up for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala. Video
Archana stated, "We didn't have any breaks while on television. We enjoyed repeating events and gained a lot of riyaaz (practice). The entire team was always energized, but I had to turn down numerous film opportunities. Now, I'm overjoyed that I have time to accept films."
She said, "Vashu ji and many other producers and filmmakers have given me assignments. Nowadays, more films are shot abroad than in India, so there was always a balance to find. I'd frequently get calls inviting me to come to Scotland for a 20-day program. But I would say, "I can only commit if you shoot in Mumbai." Some shoots took place in Mauritius, while others were held in Australia. We used to shoot Kapil's show twice or three times every week. Even if a film was being shot in Mumbai, I occasionally had to decline. Now I'm glad there's a better balance."
She recalled being in England when Vashu Bhagnani approached her about a film role. He assured her that the schedule would be brief, but it conflicted with her commitments to Kapil's show. She said, "I was in England when I received a call from Vashu ji. He responded, 'You won't even need a visa; just come for 20 days. But I told him I had a ticket back the next day and needed to film for Kapil's program immediately now."
Despite turning down several film offers, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress has no regrets. "I have absolutely no regrets. "I thoroughly enjoyed that journey, and I'm equally enjoying this new chapter," she explained.
The Great Indian Kapil Show airs new episodes on Netflix every Saturday, and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is set to begin on October 11.

Heeseung is everyone's dream.
Tumblr media
Heeseung chuckled and shut his phone.
He's been eyeing a girl from the club. Halos buong gabi siya hindi mapakali kakalinga at hanap and finally he found her. For Seung, she's sexy, alluring, napakaganda, nakakaulol. The way she laugh with her friends wearing a tight black dress that hugs her curves. The way she dances and enjoys the music that night hits different with him. And he did.
Heeseung released his load into your mouth.
===============================
This is really short tangina. Tanginang writer's block to taon ata bago ako makaahon. Will probably write a part two.
or send me ideas and prompts sa ask! hehe

I'm a few weeks late for the Christmas finale movie to coincide with real-life seasonal time. But we went to my godparents to not be as depressed without my dad this year.

W A T C H I N G
I started watching it when it aired originally, but with the pandemic in opening months
And then Zoey's Dad has a neurological condition that had some similarities to my dad's stroke/vascular dementia. So it got heavy.
But I'm curious to see how it turns out. And the final episode/tv movie is Christmas themed it would coincide with the season.

kapil sharma RRR game
(listen, i'm not fully fluent in hindi, and kapil breaks out the punjabi unexpectedly, so i might be wrong with some parts of the translation)
youtube
-
[0.:05]
kapil: sir, i'm going to play a game with you. alia, everyone will have headphones over their ears. from that, music will play. i will say a line, and you have to lip read that, then you have to tell ram sir, ram has to tell ntr sir, ntr has to tell rajamouli sir.
so are you guys ready?
please bring the headphones.
[0:35]
kapil: alia, first you come here please. (whispers) together we can beat the south-indians.
this whole game is on you, alia, based on how you explain to the others and how you guess. music will play, and don't play it too loud (to the crew), the girl is like a flower, her ears (are delicate).
please come up here, sirs.
alia: everyone come here.
[1:05]
kapil: "zindagi jhandhwa, phir bhi ghamandwa" (first phrase, which means that your life is shit but you're still arrogant/you think you're something special)
(repeats the phrase)
alia: how can i speak? (because the music is so loud)
kapil: just speak, just speak
[1:24]
alia to charan: "zindagi"
charan: "zindagi"
alia: "jhandwa" (starts laughing)
charan: "jalwa?" (jalwa means like fire/charismatic/splendid/awesome from what i understand)
alia: "zindagi jhandhwa, phir bhi ghamandwa"
[1:36]
charan to tarak: "zindagi"
tarak: yeah, "zindagi jalwa", i got that, (tell me) what's after that
charan: "phir bhi bewda" (bewda means clumsy/drunkard i believe)
tarak: "zindagi jalwa phir bhi bewda"?? (i guess means like 'life is great but i'm still an alcoholic? i don't think it makes any sense either)
charan: yeah
(laughter)
[1:50]
tarak to ssr: "zindagi"
ssr: *confused*
tarak: (something in telugu, probably along the lines of 'say it back to me')
ssr: "zindagi"
tarak: "jalwa". jalwa! like halwa! (halwa is a sweet food)
ssr: "jalwa! zindagi jalwa"
tarak: "phir bhi"
ssr: "mein bhi" (different preposition, alters meaning slightly)
tarak: "phir bhi"! ph! ph! (uses telugu word i think)
(finally communicates it)
ssr: "zindagi jalwa phir bhi bewda"?
(first round over, general laughter and outrage at the nonsense)
[2:34]
alia: i don't think i said anything wrong?
kapil: you (alia) were right, what did you say?
alia: "zindagi jhandwa phir bhi ghamandwa"
kapil: and what did ram sir say?
charan: "zindagi jalwa phir bhi bewda"
(laughter)
tarak: but what was the original thing, sir?
alia: "zindagi jhandwa phir bhi ghamandwa"
[3:03]
kapil: okay, the second line--
alia: please play the music now!
tarak: (says something in telugu, 'baaga' means good, so he might have been referring to the game or the music, not sure)
kapil: okay. "machhli jal ki rani hai, meri nani shaani hai" (second phrase, which means that 'the fish is the queen of the ocean/water, and my maternal grandmother is shaani'; that is either a name or an adjective i haven't heard before; the first half is part of a nursery rhyme, i think)
alia: "badi?" (badi means big)
[3:18]
alia to charan: "machhli jal ki rani hai"
charan: easy, take it easy.
alia: "machhli jal ki rani hai, badi nachari hai" (i believe badi nachari hai means 'is very poor', i could be wrong)
[3:36]
charan to tarak: "machhli jal ki rani hai"
tarak: "bijli"? (means electricity)
charan: "jal" (makes wave motions witb his hand to show it's water) "ki rani hai"
alia: "no, you can't do that (make gestures)
charan: okay, "jal ki rani hai"
tarak: "bijli jal ki rani hai"? (electricity is the queen of the ocean/water)
charan: "macchli!"
tarak: "machhli jal ki rani hai"
charan: "phir bhi"...? (turns to ask alia what the rest was) ...second part?
alia: "badi nachari hai"
charan: "phir bhi badi nachari hai!"
tarak: (confused) "machhli jal ki rani hai, phir bhi"
charan: "phir bhi"... (also confused)
tarak: "phir bhi"?
charan: ey, just say whatever, bro!
(laughter)
charan: "phir bhi maharani hai" (means, and yet she is a great queen/empress)
[4:13]
tarak to ssr: "machhli" (fish)
ssr: "bajrangi!" (lord hanuman)
tarak: "machhli!"
ssr: "bachti"?
tarak: fish, fish! "machhli!"
ssr: ah, "machhli!"
tarak: "machhli jal ki rani hai"
ssr: "machhli jal ki rani hai!"
tarak: yeah. (turns to charan) "phir bhi maharani hai?"
charan: just say whatever
tarak to ssr: okay, "phir bhi maharani hai"
ssr: (understanding) "phir bhi maharani hai". okay, "machhli jal ki rani hai, phir bhi maharani hai" (meaning, the fish is the queen of the ocean, and yet she is the empress)
[4:49]
alia: what was the original?
kapil: okay, so the actual line was this, "machhli jal ki rani hai, meri nani shaani hai", but still everyone got 50% correct
[5:00]
alia: one more? one more, i like this game
kapil: "bhains poonch uthayegi, toh sober hi rahegi" (this is a modification of the original phrase, and i guess it means 'if the buffalo lifts its tail, it'll remain sober? i'm not aware of any other meaning of sober, so this sounds like nonsense)
alia: what? (kapil repeats the phrase and she's still confused, he acts it out) "bhains, poonch, hila rahi hai" (means the buffalo is shaking the tail, i think, but i also have heard 'hilana' as slang for masturbating)
(kapil explains once again, and she doesn't get the second half, so he changes it to the original film phrase: "bhains poonch uthayegi, toh gober hi karegi" which means when the buffalo lifts its tail, it's going to shit cow dung, i suppose that means there's no point being surprised about something, what did you expect)
kapil: (say) whatever you want.
alia: (still confused, thinks he's saying the line) "jo kamaaye"? (something about earning)
(goes through it one more time)
alia: "bhains poonch uthaye, toh bade kamaaye?" (means if the buffalo lifts his tail, you'll earn a lot of money)
kapil: sure
charan: kapil sir, the song ended just now
[5:53]
alia to charan: "bhains poonch uthaye"
charan: "main poonch"...? (about to say 'when i lift my tail')
alia: "bhains!" (buffalo, not you)
charan: oh, "bhains!"
alia: "bhains poonch uthaye, toh bade kamaaye"
charan: "bhains ka poonch bade kamaal ki hai" (means the buffalo's tail is really awesome)
[6:14]
charan to tarak: "bhains ka poonch bade kamaal ki hai"
tarak: (confused)
(alia stops him, asks kapil to tell her the phrase again)
kapil: the buffalo has put its tail back down
alia: ???
kapil: (repeats the line) "bhains poonch uthayegi, toh gober hi karegi"
alia: OH! (turns to charan) "bhains poonch uthaye, toh rupay laaye" (means when the buffalo lifts its tail, it will bring rupees)
[6:35]
charan to tarak: "bhains ka poonch uthayega, toh paisa aaya" (essentially the same meaning, when the buffalo lifts its tail, then money came)
tarak: (tries to understand, so confused; the others tell him to pass it on) what am i supposed to say?
kapil: explain, explain to him (ssr) now
charan: say it
[6:58]
tarak to ssr: "bhains"
ssr: "bhains"
tarak: "poonch uthaye"
ssr: "poonch utha!"
both tarak and charan: "toh paise aaye"
ssr: "toh paisa aaya"??
[7:14]
kapil: okay, now remove your headphones!
ssr: what is that?
tarak and charan: was that correct?
kapil: so what i said to alia was, "bhains poonch uthayegi, toh sober hi rahegi", at first. she didn't understand. so then i said the exact line "bhains poonch uthayegi, toh gober hi karegi". she (alia) said, when the buffalo lifts its tail, then money (rupees) comes. when the buffalo lifts the tail, does an ATM open there or something?
(alia is embarrassed)
kapil: but it was a wonderful game! you all played very well! please come sit.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke Film Review
Tumblr media
Will do anything for the house in film!
Tumblr media
Image of Vicky Kaushal lead in the reviewed film Plot: This film is about a married couple who want to buy their own home, but it is prohibitively expensive, so they wander around looking for a cheaper option. Because they do not want to live with their family, which includes parents, uncles, and aunts, the house is small, they lack privacy, and they must compromise and live with their family. They take a significant risk by separating and divorcing in order to purchase a home. So, will they both be able to buy their own home? Will their relationship continue until then? Will they be able to marry again? To answer all of these questions, you'll need to watch the film. Tone and Theme: The tone of this film is romantic comedy, and the theme is Sacrifice and Compromise. The goal of making this film is to convey a message in addition to entertainment that home is not everything. A home can be as small as it wants, but it is made with loved ones and family members, and a husband and wife's relationship is connected by an emotional thread rather than a house. Vicky Kaushal's performance as Kapil is decent. He has done an excellent job portraying a middle-class family and a miser. His character was not particularly strong. As a result, he missed out on an opportunity to do something special. Sara Ali Khan's performance as Saumya is also average, but her comedic timing is exceptional. Some of her scenes appear to be played to perfection. The supporting cast includes Akash Khurana, Anubha Fatehpura, Rakesh Bedi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, and Kanupriya Pandit, all of whom contribute to the film's plot. Laxman Utekar, the film's director, came to Hindi cinema from Marathi cinema, where he directed Tapaal (2014) and Lalbaugchi Rani (2016). Luka Chuppi (2019), which he directed, was a success. He is also a successful cinematographer; his direction in this is nothing special; it is weaker than his previous films; the type of films he has directed not seen in this film; it feels like we are watching a film by a very weak director; at times, it feels like the film is being dragged. The screenplay, written by Maitrey Bajpai, Ramiz Ilham Khan, and Laxman Utekar, is weak, and the dialogue is also average. Sandeep Shirodkar's background score falls below average. The Sound design by Nihar Ranjan Samal is nothing special. Costume design by Sheetal Sharma is also acceptable. Editing: Manish Pradhan's editing is poor, and the film feels stretched like rubber. The cinematography by Raghav Ramdoss is good. Production Design: Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray's production design is acceptable. Music: Sachin-Jigar's music is excellent, with two standout songs being Phir Aur Kya Chahiye and Tere Vaaste Achhe have made it good. Choreography: Ganesh Acharya, Vijay Ganguly, Ruel Dausan Varandani's choreography is exceptional. Ganesh Acharya's contribution to the song Tere Vaaste is particularly noteworthy. Climax: The climax can be described as okay. Opinion: Today's youth can see this film once. Fact: The fight scene between the two is extremely well done. 69th Filmfare Award Nominations: This film received nominations for Best Music Director, Best Male Playback Singer, Best Choreographer, and Best Lyricist, and it won one award for Best Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya's (Tere Vaaste) song. CBFC-U/A Movietime: 2 hours and 12 minutes Genre: Romantic Comedy Backdrop: Indore Release: 2023 The cast includes Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, Akash Khurana, Anubha Fatehpura, Rakesh Bedi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, and Kanupriya Pandit. Producers: Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. Director: Laxman Utekar; Sound Designer: Nihar Ranjan Samal. Sheetal Sharma designed the costumes, Sachin-Jigar composed the music, Sandeep Shirodkar composed the background score, and Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray designed the production. [ad_1] Dennis Lillee and Jasprit Bumrah (PC: ICC and BCCI) The host broadcaster’s stump mic in Perth has unhindered clarity unlike the occasionally sparse visuals during replays that nipped a promising KL Rahul’s innings in the bud. As Steve Smith arrived at the crease, Rishabh Pant was in his element. “The legend is pressured,” chirped the Indian wicketkeeper. A ball later, Smith was gone. Jasprit Bumrah made one jag back a mile to trap the former Australia captain leg-before. The stand-in India captain was making the ball talk. In the commentary box, Wasim Akram was ecstatic. “He (Bumrah) is the world’s best bowler,” the legendary former Pakistan quick screamed. That was validation. Bumrah is placed third in the ICC Test bowling rankings, behind Kagiso Rabada and Josh Hazlewood. Who cares! To paraphrase Mark Knopfler, he was giving the Australian batsmen a shiver in the fading light at the Optus Stadium. It felt like he had Smith at his beck and Marnus Labuschagne at his call. The fabled WACA is just a short walk from the Optus Stadium. It is the spiritual home of Dennis Lillee. It’s not known if the great man paid a visit to the new stadium to watch the first day’s play of the first Test between India and Australia. Even watching the action on telly, he must have nodded in approval, notwithstanding his nationality and a redoubtable Aussie swagger. It’s a fast bowlers’ club where Bumrah sits cheek by jowl with the likes of Lillee, Akram, Malcolm Marshall and other all-time greats of the game. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Jasprit Bumrah during the Perth Test (PC: Debasis Sen) Back in 2018, during Bumrah’s first Test series Down Under, Lillee had compared the Indian speedster with Jeff Thomson. “He (Bumrah) is very different from other pacers, which reminds me of another fast bowler of my era, who was very different from everyone else – Jeff Thomson,” Lillee had said. In Perth, as he was making bowling feel like music, Bumrah’s action was dissected by the experts. As awkward as it might be, there’s no faux shtick in the whole process – from his run-up to loading, delivery and follow-through. Bumrah’s wrist does the magic. “What Bumrah does is 101 per cent correct,” former Pakistan fast bowler Aaqib Javed, who is currently a selector and Pakistan’s white-ball coach, told this correspondent a few years ago. “Don’t look into how he is approaching the crease. Look at the end product and that’s perfect. Very few fast bowlers use the height so well. Very few of them transfer weight so smoothly. Also, from his run-up to delivery release, Bumrah’s entire approach is completely linear, using his energy in a straight direction. It gives him more power. To me, he has the best action in the business.” Coming back to Lillee, watching Bumrah, maybe his mind raced back to a time when India had Kapil Dev and a few other medium pacers around him, bowling dibbly-dobblies. The Australian was given the responsibility to groom fast bowlers at the MRF Pace Foundation. It took time, a couple of generations to be precise. But Lillee and the MRF Pace Foundation’s influence wasn’t limited to Chennai only. Bumrah is the fulcrum of a process that started with Javagal Srinath followed by Zaheer Khan and other fast bowlers. But no one is like the smiling assassin, for he is one of a kind. Bumrah is someone whom Andy Roberts told: “You could have taken the new ball in our XI.” Also Read: How a Durga Puja gave India’s Test team its Bumrah X-factor The post Close to Lillee’s spiritual home, Bumrah sings merry song of fast bowling appeared first on Sports News Portal | Latest Sports Articles | Revsports. Love, Sitara: Scenes The Show Family, Forgiveness, and True Love
Tumblr media
"Love, Sitara" is the latest family drama from ZEE5 Global that leaves you with all the feels—part joy, part heartbreak, but ultimately a journey of love and forgiveness. Directed by Kapil Sharma and starring Sobhita Dhulipala and Rajeev Siddhartha, the film delves deep into the complexities of family, relationships, and the resilience required to navigate life’s emotional rollercoaster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5SSTffw9K8 From the get-go, Love, Sitara brings you face-to-face with genuine and spontaneous moments of love. The chemistry between Sobhita Dhulipala’s Tara and Rajeev Siddhartha’s Arjun sets the tone early in the film with a surprise proposal that feels authentic. No Instagram-worthy, orchestrated proposal here—just pure, unfiltered emotion that anyone who's ever been in love can relate to. The Family Drama That Hits Close to Home But it’s not all sunshine and roses. Just when you think Tara and Arjun are set for smooth sailing into marital bliss, family drama, age-old secrets, and some seriously unresolved emotions crash the party. One of the most striking aspects of the film is how it manages to handle intergenerational conflict with a sensitivity that feels authentic. The family’s rallying around Tara during the hectic wedding preparations is a high point. Yes, we’ve all been through (or witnessed) those wedding stress moments that make you want to pull your hair out. But this scene reminds us of the beauty of family sticking together through the chaos. Sometimes, it's those crazy times that bring us closer. It also serves as a powerful visual of how support in times of stress can make all the difference. When Forgiveness Triumphs One of the standout moments comes when Arjun is forced to make a choice—hold onto past anger or let it go for the sake of moving forward. In a world that’s all about keeping receipts, Arjun’s act of forgiveness feels refreshing. It’s a moment that reminds us all that love, at its core, requires grace, understanding, and the ability to let go. In today’s era of grudges and quick cancellations, this message is one that hits differently. The Father-Daughter Bond Sobhita Dhulipala absolutely shines in the scenes with her father, played by Sanjay Bhutiani. One particular scene where Tara and her dad discuss marriage and life brings the father-daughter relationship front and center in a way that will leave you reaching for tissues. The generational wisdom shared in that conversation underscores how much parental guidance, even in our adult years, can shape and influence our decisions. A Reunion Worth Waiting For The fallout between Tara and Arjun nearly breaks them—both emotionally and physically—but the heartfelt reunion scene brings them back together in a way that feels organic. It’s not overly dramatic, and there’s no cheesy rom-com music swelling in the background. Instead, you get a raw moment where two people who genuinely love each other decide that their relationship is worth fighting for. Family Dinner Laughter Lightens the Load Of course, what’s a family drama without some comic relief? The laughter-filled family dinner is the breath of fresh air we all need amidst the emotional turmoil. Between the heavy confrontations and deep personal revelations, these light-hearted moments remind us of the joy in family gatherings—even if they come with their fair share of awkward conversations and minor squabbles. The warmth and camaraderie shared in this scene balance out the intensity of the more emotional parts of the film. Final Thoughts If you’re into emotionally charged family dramas that still manage to bring light moments of laughter, Love, Sitara is the perfect pick for your next binge-watch. With powerful performances from Sobhita Dhulipala and Rajeev Siddhartha, the film manages to explore the complexities of love, forgiveness, and family dynamics in a way that feels personal, yet universal. This movie isn’t just about romantic love. It’s about all kinds of love—between siblings, parents and children, friends, and yes, partners. Love, Sitara does a brilliant job of showing that love isn’t always about the big, dramatic gestures. Sometimes, it’s in the quiet moments—the acts of forgiveness, the comforting conversations, the laughter around the dinner table—that we find the truest expressions of love. Read the full article
