#kaoru wada is the only bliss from that show

My question at this point is... Since it goes without saying that actually no one gives a damn fuck about Rin as part of that "family", why on earth Sumisawa had to pick her as Sesshomaru's wife? Yashahime is such a mess that it wouldn't have made any difference introducing another new random character not so well developed, but at the very very very least one single thing would've been saved, that is, Rin and her relationship with Sesshomaru. Everyone in both anime and manga says that she's "too young"/"more like a sister" to her daughters, then why don't let her be that, Towa's and Setsuna's big sister?
