I hope you all know I cannot for the life of me write fight scenes! OMG this took so long. Anyway....this is continuation of my Giyuu Secret Family AU story (I guess). She/Her Pronouns.

It had been another month since the last encounter with Giyuu’s “no-longer-a-secret” secret family. A bit of normalcy, or what the Hashira consider normal, set back in. Time seemed to move slower as they waited for her to wake up. They were both relieved to see (Y/N) sitting up and eating upon coming back to the room.

“Lady Tomioka! I’m glad you’re okay!” Mitsuri cheered.

“I’m the one that’s grateful you two found me.” She smiled. She gazed down at her bandaged arms. “For a demon so weak it’s  blood demon art was no joke.”

“Both your arms have burns on them.” Shinobu said.

“Yeah, all the poison burned off in the sunrise.” She sighed.

“You defeated it this morning?” Shinobu asked.

It was an awkward position to be in now that’s the big secret is out. (Y/N) felt she should be more casual but how can one be casual with two Hashira in the room? Especially after they found you passed out. “Thank you, again…”

“It’s nothing Lady Tomioka-“

Shinobu gave a sort of skeptical look, “I know he seems cold and hard to understand but Giyuu is the kindest soul I’ve ever met.”

Neither woman could deny her that. After all, he showed mercy to Kamado and his sister. A kindness they could never.

“You sound so in love,” Mitsuri smiled. “What drew you to Tomioka?”

A deep blush crept across (Y/N)’s face as she remembered their younger years, “Nothing at first, he was always kind to me but I started to notice… he was just like me.”

(Y/N) had been found wandering the forest alone and barefoot as a child. She didn’t remember her village or even her family name. She had a thousand yard stare, an emotional and unsettling demeanor for a child so young. It was clear to the swordsman who had found her that this child was the sole survivor of a demon attack and she would never be the same again.

“Our sword masters were both retired Hashira, we had never met though. He bought me dinner after my first big mission.”

(Y/N) thought that becoming a demon slayer would make life easier. As in being able to fight back but, you can’t fight against the motherly love of your Master’s wife. Even after giving some food to fellow slayers the bag at her side still did a number on her feet and shoulder. The dull ache did take away from the general anxiety that had plagued her since last night. Your crow, Chiyoko, delivered the news that you would be heading to a village down south to aid in their demon crisis. There was no mention of other slayers accompanying you. You were doing this alone.

It’s a daunting task and a heavy burden but, you were a demon slayer nonetheless. A friend of yours offered to come by once they wrapped up their mission in the next village east to yours. Still, that pit of anxiety wouldn’t leave. At least the heavy shifting of the bag from one shoulder to another gave you momentary relief as you came to a fork in the road.

“Good luck.”

You nearly jumped out of your skin! You quickly swung your sword in front of you ready to face the thing before but, you only saw a man. He looked your age, long dark hair tied back, deep blue eyes and a checkered haori. Something your master mentioned crossed your mind.

“Be on the lookout for Urokodaki’s student. He’s a Hashira…”

“Tomioka…Giyuu?” You say hesitantly, lowering your sword.

“Yes?”

Your face flushed a bright red. You were quick to sheath your sword and apologize to him. “I didn’t notice you this whole time! I’m so sorry!”

“No need.” He replied plainly, turning down the path opposite of yours.

“Um- Good luck!” You called back. He didn’t respond or turn around. That was probably for the best. You had embarrassed yourself enough. Chiyoko swooped back down and landed on your shoulder. “Did you hear any of that girl?”

“You’ll be at the village before nightfall!” She chirped.

“Ah, so it was that bad.”

The village was tucked away in the valley and surrounded by a cool mist.The trees swayed almost unnaturally like creeping hands trying to grab you. There had been no birds for a mile now. The forest fell quiet. All life had just stopped, not disappeared, just stopped. Something was there, you could feel it. Entering the village, it was smaller than you thought it would be. There were many people walking around, surely more than a few buildings could hold. The villagers went about their day completely unbothered by your presence. It was often you wouldn’t get recognized or acknowledged but the people here were treating you like you were invisible. Even when they bumped into you, they kept their heads down. The shoddily built houses loomed over you, held together with wooden beams and prayers. Not even the shops had signs hanging above them. You wandered aimlessly around the village or what seemed to remain of it. Just past the main commerce area was the renents of a house. The dirt seemed to be swirled in the giant crater. More were haphazardly littered across down the road towards the forest. You finally found what you thought would be an inn and was met by a young girl with braided pigtails.

“Hello? Do you have a room for the night?” You asked.

She stared at you blankly, examining you. Wordlessly she walked from behind the desk and beckoned you to follow her. The halls were quiet but you felt the peering eyes from behind the closed doors. “It sure is misty outside, is it always like that?”

She stayed silent.

“A-Are your parents not home? Do you run this whole place by yourself?”

“You ask too many questions.” she said plainly. She pulled the door open and ushered you to go inside. “You should leave tomorrow.”

“Why’s that?” you asked.

She sighs with a slight twitch of the eyebrow. She goes to turn back into the hall and you grab onto her arm, “Is there somewhere here you’re afraid of? Someone that can hear you if you say too much?”

She snatched her arm back and hurried back down the hall. You quietly closed the door back and listened for any noise. The inn settled and all was quiet again.

Is it in the Inn? No, there are people here, they are still alive. Is this its resting place during the day? It’s near the destroyed houses…

“Here you go Chiyoko,” you handed her a small note. “Maybe the next village will have something for you to eat. Be back soon.” Watching Chiyoko fly off into the sunset, you resigned yourself to a very eventful night.

Investigating proved to be hellish. No one wanted to talk, not even the children. It was like everyone was trained to be quiet?! Just how strong was this demon? You couldn’t even buy something from the shop without ominous stares and the clerk, all too happy to usher you out. Upon exploring the surrounding forest, the road from the village led deeper out and only welcomed more crater and debris. By the looks of it all, the demon was luring people deeper into the town. At this rate everyone was as good as dead. The forest proved to be just as creepy. The trees stretched abnormally high in the sky, if they had any leaves they would have blocked out the setting sun. The surrounding area lacked any life or color, like after a fire.

Before you could react a jagged tree branch shot out and grabbed your leg. It swung you around violently as she tried to swing your sword at the branch. You were able to slice it and the tree let out a loud hiss and shriveled into a pile of ash. “Show yourself!”

You heard a giggle circle around you. The vine tightened as a figure appeared from the shadows. It had a dark body that stretched as tall as the trees it hid behind. It’s long, spindly arm came out to hold your face, “What a pretty one you are.”

You yanked your head away from its grasp, “I might just let you live if you leave this village now!”

“You little swordsmen don’t scare me.” They laughed. You felt a tug. The ground opened up and the vines started to pull you down into the earth. You thrashed wildly against the vines as they pulled your body underground. The light faded and all you felt was the cold dirt. You could feel the vines pulling you down. You struggled to hold your breath and your sword as the vines began to speed up. You finally caught your breath as you were dropped into an underground cave. You cursed as you coughed up the dirt.

“Another one..” someone whispered. There was a small group of people, dirty and their clothes ripped. They huddled on the other side of the cave. Behind you were decomposing bodies wrapped in vines, their only remains were the black demon slayer uniforms they wore. You stifle a scream and back onto your feet. The people jolted back as you did. The cave wasn’t too big. You were completely surrounded on all sides. The roof was interconnected with vines all converging to the one large hole that the vines came from.

“How long have you all been down here?” You asked.

“A week, at least I think so.” The older man spoke up. “However, that thing has been hunting us for months. It started out slow with someone going missing but then it got stronger.”

“The monster destroyed our homes and took us in our sleep.” A woman said.

So that’s it… You asked, “How often does that hole open up?”

“Every night.” she replied “He brings back whatever he didn’t eat here.”

You drew your sword back, “I don’t have that kind of time.”

You started to hack away at the vines around the body. If he won’t come down here, you will fo to him! You were able to cut one loose and it made the same hissing noise. The vine around the body started to rot and turn to black ash. All that remained were broken bones. The vines still descending from the earth started to retract. You grabbed onto it and wrapped it around your wrist pulling it further and further down. “Come on you coward!”

“Miss please!” a young boy called out. “He’ll eat you!”

“If I don't! He’ll eat all of you!” The vine started to tighten around your wrist but you still kept pulling back. “I will not let this demon terrorize anyone anymore!”

The hole opened up wide and pulled you up through the dirt. Your body was slammed onto the surface. “I hate slayers like yourself, you never know when to lie over and die!”

You got to your feet and took off running towards him, swinging at his arms. The demon’s vines sliced through the air. Trees cracked under the weight of both of your attacks. The tree twisted and bent as it lunged at it and struck the ground. The ground shook and shot up from under you. The trees spiraled around you, crunching at the earth where you stood. You jumped from one to the other and slid down the vines. You could see the demon at the bottom, still attached to the roots. You drew your sword back and swung it towards its head!

The demon let out a wicked cackle as you saw its body reattach itself. “You cannot kill me as easily.”

“I-I…I missed.”

The demon broke out into a fit of laughter, almost doubling over, “You should have stayed down there to die!”

More trees shot into the air and you were quick to slice them all, with a loud hiss. The ash clouded the air and hung heavy in your chest as you landed. The demon stood before you, its feet and arms spread into tree trunks that buried itself into the ground. You coughed, “Spores- really?”

“What will you do, little slayer? I won’t be moved.” he sneered.

Just what the hell does it take to kill this thing! How do you kill a tree!?

The demon swung its arm towards you and knocked you back into another tree. This started to coil around your leg but you quickly cut it off and watched it hiss. The realization set in. The demon had hunched forward with its arms and legs retracting into the ground. Around its body are two lanky trees that twisted and coiled into the air like tentacles. You steadied yourself on the ground in preparation. No matter what happened you knew you couldn’t last until morning, especially since most of these trees seemed to be part of its control and they held up just fine in the sunlight. You couldn’t wait for your friend in the next town over either. These people solely depended on you. You took a deep breath to steady yourself.

“Giving up demon slayer?” he sneered.

I can do this… I can do this!

You pushed yourself off your back foot and took a running start towards the closet decrepit tree and sliced it. Then to another. Another, and another. The demon’s branches swung towards you and coiled around yourself and trees still standing. You raised it towards its body to slice on the lanky tree branches. The other was able to grab you by your leg and while it dragged you towards it you plunged the sword into it. The demon finally let out a loud screech as it turned to reach for you. The incoming vines sliced in two across your blade as you gained distance on the demon still planted firmly in the ground. The demon started to get frantic, sending more vines out to try and slow you down but to no avail. He lost sight of you amongst the tangle of vines. A sharp pain jolted in his lower half as one of his roots was severed from the earth. One after another he tried desperately to call what trees he still controlled to his aid. The one remaining tree was able to coil around your legs and sling you into the air. Before the demon could try to reattach his root your blad came down across its neck. The head rolled a ways away and disappeared into dust, as did the one tree remaining and the roots.

You breathed heavily as adrenaline was still rushing towards you. Your head was ringing, you almost didn’t process the voice calling to you. “(Y/N)! (Y/N) are you okay?!”

Your friend caught you as you almost fell over. “Masato..?”

“Oh (Y/N), I was so worried about you!” She hugged you tightly. “The demon, is it gone?!”

“It is…” You breathed out. “Go alert the villagers please, we need to dig the survivors out.”

“Okay! Please rest!” she said and turned to other slayers you didn’t notice were there either. Out from the sky came a familiar fluttering. Chiyoko nuzzled up against your cheek with worried chirps.

“Did I worry you Chiyoko, I’m sorry. Thank you for coming back for me.”

The village erupted in laughter and cries. So many worried families reunited with each other. The villagers couldn’t thank you enough. They showered you with treats and prayers and gratitude. The little inn girl even thanked you for returning her family. It would all be greater if you were so exhausted. Your feet ached on the path back home. You couldn’t wait to be bandaged up and sleep. Masato and the other slayers said their goodbyes as you came upon the split in the road. She smiled, “Get back home safely.”

“I will.” you sighed “Are you sure you don’t need me to tag along?”

“Nah, we’re meeting up with some others later on. You get home and sleep (Y/N).” Masato stated before going off down the road. You kinda just stood there for a moment, taking everything in. Though your shoulders still felt heavy with tiredness You felt lighter somehow. You had a jumping feeling in the pit of your stomach even though you couldn’t bring your feet to move. You saved those people. They looked so happy because you saved them. It felt nice but heavy. That was the best way to explain it, a heavy feeling you knew was good because it helped others but only you got to shoulder it. It will pass. You would fight another demon. It would come back and then pass again. And maybe, hopefully, the good feeling would last a little more.

Your thoughts left you as you heard someone walk towards you. To your shock it was Tomioka! You looked slightly surprised to see you, or at least a little bit interested. Hard to tell with him. “Are you done with your mission?” he asked.

“Y-Yeah, I am.” You started to walk forward with him. “How was your mission?”

“Fine,” he replied blankly, “Yours?”

“It was rough but I pulled through.” You were very unsure how long you should speak. Tomioka didn’t seem like the type to meander on. It was very awkward.

“You’re fast then.”

“And that was the extent of our conversation all the way back.” (Y/N) smiled.

“That sounds…so…like him,” Shinobu gave a half playful, half pitiful laugh. Even she had some hope that his spouse had a much more romantic meeting with him. It made way too much sense for him to be that awkward.

(Y/N) giggled, “Well I was only a Kanoe at the time, so I guess finishing at the speed of a Hashira was impressive. By the time we made it back I was starving and I came straight here.”

(Y/N) recounted seeing Giyuu talk outside the Butterfly Mansion with Rengoku. As the Flame Hashira walked away Giyuu bluntly asked if she was hungry. He admitted that Urokodaki has told him to look out for her but he had forgotten for two months and felt bad once he finally saw her. - Shinobu finds it oddly out of character for you to just randomly start to ignore her. At first she tries to wait it out a bit, but eventually she loses patience and asks you what’s wrong.

- If you refuse to tell her, she will just keep being persistent on finding out what’s wrong. She knows personally how it feels to bottle up all your emotions and wear a facade and she doesn’t want you to go through all that pain.

🐍Iguro Obanai🐍

- Stands in a “����‍” way the first time you avoid him. Even Karburamaru looks at him, then at the direction where you went, back and forth in confusion. He takes that as a hint that you need some time and waits a few days.

- Will buy a few gifts for you and send them to you with his crow. He wants to approach you again but doesn’t want to make it worse so he’ll just wait patiently for you.

🍡Mitsuri Kanroji🍡

- Girl FREAKS OUT. She instantly starts overthinking about what happened. The first scenario that comes to mind is that you’ve lost someone close to you. So she goes to Shinobu to see if she knows if any of your friends and/or family passed away.

- When she learns that no one close to you died, Shinobu questions her on why she wanted to know. She tells her that you’ve been avoiding her and doesn’t know why, and Shinobu advises her to give you some time and you’ll come around. The advice did end up working and you eventually went back to her with the biggest hug as an apology.

🔥Kyojuro Rengoku🔥

- He stays calm in the situation, he tries to think of what made you upset. When he couldn’t connect the dots he walked up to you and expressed his concerns, and informed you that Shinobu can possibly help with some mental health if that’s what you’re struggling with.

- He has faith that you’ll return and that things will get better with your struggles. He makes a mental note to take you on a date soon to show his affection.

🔊Tengen Uzui🔊

- He will ask you straight up what’s wrong. At first he’ll make a joke and try to make you laugh to lighten your mood but when that doesn't work he becomes more serious.

- He asks you if you would be more comfortable with talking/venting to Hina, Makio, or Suma and maybe they could help and provide great comfort for whatever you’re dealing with. He will try to be persistent on finding out what’s wrong but Hina stopped him and told him not to overthink. He listened and waited for you.

☁️Muichiro Tokito☁️

- He would definitely be stunned. After he snaps out of it, he’ll think a bit on what he’s going to do before deciding to give you some alone time.

- He’ll be concerned for your well being though and it will show on his face that he’s got a lot on his mind. He was approached by Rengoku after a Hashira meeting, asking Muichiro what was on his mind. He gave him some friendly advice and words of encouragement and it helped him to approach you.

🌪️Sanemi Shinazugawa🌪️

- He’ll be like “What the hell did this bitch just ignore me?” and will call your name loudly and ask what’s the matter. It may seem like he’s pissed but in reality he just wants to get to the bottom of why you're acting strange (some would say he’s worried- because he is)

- After about a day he’ll start talking to you, trying to figure out what’s the matter. At first he’ll assume that someone else caused this so he’ll threaten to beat someone’s ass if they caused you harm.

🌊Giyuu Tomioka🌊

- He’s confused at first, then he starts to wonder if he did anything wrong to cause you to act like that. So he will go and buy you some small snacks as a way to make you feel better and as an apology just in case he did actually do something wrong.

- Awkwardly gives you the food and says something like “Here, for you.” He hopes that it’ll convince you to stop avoiding him and talk to him, even if you’re just ranting about your problems.

🪨Gyomei Himejima🪨

- It surprises him (surprise Pikachu face) but he figures that something bad happened or you received some sort of terrible news. He waits for you to come to him because he doesn’t wanna pressure you at all.

- When you finally crack, he’ll patiently listen while you tell him what’s the matter. He will give you some advice if you’d like and pat your head wholesomely.

For a moment he actually doubted how painful cramps could be and thought you were being dramatic but then he remembered that a lot of the corps members came from tragedy and you might not have had a female family member teach you about this stuff

Realizing that you might not actually know what’s happening to you, he realized he might have to teach you himself

After debating to himself about what to do he decided to go get you the supplies you needed

After setting the supplies outside your door, he went to the kitchen and started making you some soup like how his mom would when his siblings were sick

Absolutely is frozen, not because he doesn’t know what to do, I mean he grew up in a large family that was entirely made of women. He just doesn’t know how to approach this

He doesn’t want to embarrass you and he doesn’t know if you’d be comfortable talking about this with him

After much internal debating, he decided to ask Mitsuri for help

Mitsuri told him to stay by your side and get you food/drinks while she got you supplies

When she got there, she told Obanai to heat up a bath for you and make you some warm tea while she helped you

Shinobu Kocho:

Seeing you curled up on the floor, she suspected as much, I mean, you were getting to that age

The first thing she did was bring you some pain relievers and had you take a bath

While you were in the bath, she had the butterfly girls change your sheets if you happened to get blood on them while she prepares some tea for you and has Aoi prepare food for you to replenish the nutrients your body will lose

When you got out, she taught you the importance of hygiene and made sure to explain what’s happening and why in case you didn’t know

After that, she showed you how to use sanitary napkins/cloths/whatever they used back then

She made sure to answer any questions you might have to the best of her ability and made you get plenty of rest

Mitsuri Kanroji:

Oh she’s such a sweetheart heart

The moment she sees you curled up on the floor she runs to your side and asks a million questions about how you’re feeling thinking you might be terribly sick and on the brink of death

When you explain to her what’s happening, she sighs in relief and scoops you up and takes you to the bathroom where she runs a hot bath for you

While you’re in the bath, she cleans your sheets and gets you all the supplies you need

After the bath, she shows you how to use sanitary cloths and explains everything to the best of her ability and answers the questions you have

Afterwards, she makes sure to have you eat something and rest

Oh boy, he’s perhaps one of the worst when it comes to this, though not intentionally

When he sees you curled up on the floor, he immediately asks what’s wrong and is frozen when you tell him

Yes he knows about these things but he has no experience with it, but his father might

So he goes to ask his father who begrudgingly gave him advice after listening to his oldest son go on and on until he realized his son might not shut up unless he helped

Kyojuro followed his father’s advice by having you take a hot bath and preparing a meal with Senjuro’s help

Afterwards, he had notified Mitsuri and she helped him with explaining to you what’s happening and how to properly handle it

Kyojuro listened intently to every word Mitsuri said as he wanted to be a good mentor to you and he wanted to understand as much as he could about monthly cycles and how they might affect you

Tengen Uzui:

Well, he supposes this was bound to happen eventually

Luckily he has three wives so he’s no stranger to periods and isn’t shy about talking about it

Honestly one of the best when it comes to this

He makes sure that if you’ve bled through your clothes, to make sure you don’t notice since he doesn’t think periods are anything to be ashamed or embarrassed about

He immediately sends you into the bathroom to wash yourself and take a nice long hot bath

He cleans your clothes of any blood if there is any while his wives prepare food and tea for you that will help with the pain and be easy to eat

His wives show you how to properly wear protective cloth and they answer any questions you have

Gyomei Himejima:

With age comes wisdom, he’s raised children before and although he may have never had to help any of the female children through this, he knows the basics

When he hears your quiet pained whimpers he understands that something is wrong and asks you what it is that ails you

When you tell him, he understands and asks if you understand or know what’s happening. Whether or not you understand, he first helps you to the bath and has you wash up while he either asks Lady Amane for assistance or a female Kakushi or Shinobu

Once your cleaned up, the female he asks for assistance helps you and shows you how to wear sanitary cloths and explains how to maintain proper hygiene

After they leave, Gyomei sits down with you and answers any questions you may have and gently explains what’s happening to your body

He listens to you and allows you to tell him however you’re feeling and insists that you let him know whenever something is bothering you

Giyuu Tomioka:

He had an older sister so he knows a little bit about this stuff but he knows he’s no expert

When he sees you laying on the floor all curled up holding your abdomen he assumes you might have a stomach bug and calls for Shinobu

When she arrives, she initially berates him for what she assumed was a stomach bug like he told her and says he should be able to handle things like this on his own

She later retracts her statement but doesn’t tell him that when she learns what’s actually happening

She helps you out and teaches you how to care for yourself and how to maintain proper hygiene all while having Giyuu make you food and tea

After he learns what’s happening after Shinobu leaves, he stands around outside your door trying to figure out how to tell you that you can rely on him

He ends up chickening out and just listens for you if you need anything and gets it for you

Muichiro Tokito:

Poor boy has no idea what is happening and just assumes you’re being lazy or that you might be sick

No one ever taught him about sex and how the reproductive system works for both genders so he has no clue

Seeing as he is clueless he calls for Shinobu when he sees the blood on the sheets thinking that you’re bleeding internally

When she arrives, she sits both you and Muichiro down and explains in detail what’s happening and how to go about taking care of yourself

~You attempt to make a conversation with him, getting nowhere.

~Despite all this, you still attempt to speak with him, go on missions, etc. He soon found you quite..alluring? Your voice was extremely soft, you’re good what you do, and even took notice of your physical abilities.

~I wouldn’t say he was exactly impressed, but it did catch his attention somehow.

~Then when he finally took notice of your skills, I would say his respect for you went up more. That’s when he decided to finally make an effort to somewhat form a friendship? He was hesitant to try and become friends, so he stubbornly figured he could at least speak with you more.

~After a while, he devolved a crush on you. Why? Because of your unshakeable character, how attached you are to your family, and is very intelligent.

~He confesses to you, and oh my, he’s so awkward. He’s stumbling over his words, his hands are shaking, whilst his eyes are bloodshot and pupils incredibly small.

~To his surprise, you say yes to dating him, which catches him off guard but also makes him the happiest man on earth.

~When you first became a hashira, like Sanemi, Giyu didn’t exactly take notice of you.

~Whenever you tried to speak with Giyu, he’d just stay silent and listen, and after you finished, he walks away without another word.

~You’d speak to Tomioka normally, with you doing the talking.

~However, when you two went on a mission, he finally saw you in action. He wasn’t exactly like mind-blown impressed, just respected you more as a Hashira rather than someone who’s just there.

~However, you started to show interest in him. It was very subtle, but he was very overwhelmed by the way you attempted to give him affection.

~I’m extremely doubtful that Giyu would be the one to confess, I think you would confess. However, he doesn’t accept your confession, in fear he’d hurt you or lose you.

~I feel like he’d use an excuse. “Give me more time.”

~I don’t see Giyu dating anybody..unless; They defend him, go out of their way to speak with him, and definitely gives him space whenever he needs it.

Would most definitely be taller than shinobu and that's the only thing that ticks her off (he got it from his mama mitsuri) bwuahaha and l definitely see him wearing the butterfly pin proudly like his mom. Shinobu Jr being taller than Shinobu is iconic lmao. She'd definitely get teased by the other Hashiras to which she may or may not make their drinks sour/bitter but nobody needs to know. Shinobu Jr. would probably be picked up by his mom (Mitsuri) even when he says 'I'm already a big boy, Mom!'. His mum (Shinobu) just smirks while Mitsuri just giggles and they end up in a tickling match.

Shinobu is down bad for her wife. She'd give her the whole world if it was physically possible. They'd be the type of couple their kids would jokingly gag at because of how cute and affectionate they are. Shinobu would make Mitsuri her coffee despite questioning how on earth someone can survive consuming that much sugar and honey pancakes. Mitsuri would prepare Shinobu's clothes. Shinobu once protested saying she doesn't have to but Mitsuri assured her than she wanted to see her wife in her amazing labcoat (Shinobu is either a surgeon or head chemist).

They also go out on monthly dates when the kids are old enough to be babysat by either their uncles or Aunt Kanao/Aoi. Mitsuri loves to try out new foods and Shinobu loves to learn new things about the food and location so it's a win-win!

As for his name, I can't think of one. Tbh I'm not really good at Japanese names so I can't really give one! Haruki is nice though! I like the meaning behind it : D

"Hm! Fear not child, you're safe now!" The loud blond man holding you said, but you didn't believe a word he said.

"Let go, let go!" You screamed like a stabbed pig and the man you punched, a white-haired scarred and not to mention pissed off, approached you.

"Careful there Rengoku! This little shit has a nasty right hook!"

"Hm!" Rengoku nodded, "She is a fighter!"

"Let go, let go you stupid poops!" You screamed and that attracted more attention.

"What is going on here?" A beautiful purple-haired woman and her companions came. Rengoku turned to look at them and smiled, "This little girl here must still be scared!"

"Oh my!" The woman gasped as she looked at you and smiled gently, "Please don't fear. You're safe now. The monsters can't hurt you anymore."

Hearing this, you stilled, but you were still full of fight and so you glared at the pretty woman, "They are?"

"I promise," She nodded and you calmed down a little, and just in time as the rest of the group got together.

"A child…?" A young-looking man with long black hair mumbled and a man with bright white-hair blinked, "There was actually a survivor?"

"We better get her somewhere safer," A calm-looking man stated.

"Oh my, how cute!" A young pink-haired woman nearly squealed as she moved towards you.

"Watch it, she kicks and punches!" The scarred man snapped, but his words fell on deaf ears as the pink girl grabbed you from the purple woman and hugged you close to her body.

"Don't worry, we are the good guys!" She said and you frowned, fully ready to lash out again… But you found yourself relaxing in the woman's hold.

"Oi, kid," A man with gauze wrapped over his lower face squinted his different colored eyes at you, "Where are your parents?"

It was like a light switch had been flicked on. Just mentioning them made you a fearful and anxious little girl again.

"N- No!" You cried out all of a sudden, pushing against the pink-haired woman's body as you tried to break free of her hold, "Not my parents! Please, don't take me back to them!"

"Namu Amida Butsu…" A giant man suddenly prayed as tears streamed down his face, "I'm afraid she doesn't have that close bond with her family…"

"What's wrong?" The pink-haired woman looked down at you, "Are you hurt?"

You nodded as you buried your tear-stained face against the woman's shoulder. She frowned as she gently tried to rub your back, but you flinched immediately when her hand made contact with your back.

"Ah-!"

"Oi, let me see!" The scarred man snapped but as he moved to grab you, you screamed bloody murder and he stepped back, "Shit!"

"Let me…" The purple-haired woman shushed you gently as she carefully grabbed your shirt and lifted it enough to show your back… And expose all the nasty dark bruises there.

"Oh my…!" She gasped at the sight and the scarred man scowled, "Shit… She has been not only neglected but abused also…"

"Please…" You cried as you tried your hardest to wipe your teary eyes, "I don't want to go back… Please don't take me back…!"

"Looks like Demons did a favor for her." The gauze man grumbled and the pink-haired woman started to gently rock you from side to side.

"There there…" She hushed as she gently held you, "No one is going to hurt you ever again… You're safe now."

"B- But my family-!"

"They can't hurt you anymore," She said and you sniffled as you raised your head and looked at her with your eyes red and puffy due to crying so hard.

All though, characters have stated and treated her like a godness, because of her beauty. Therefore I believe if she was offered a chance she would decline probably a little passive aggressively also I feel like she believes that kind of thing just doesn't matter for her, given the fact she's been planning her death for years and probably just wants to stay pure enough for heaven when her short time comes to an end.

Another thing is also that inferiority complex he suffers from. I believe that it goes farther from jaut believing he doesn't belong with the rank of the other hashira's, but it also goes into his daily life. And probably also makes him believe he doesn't deserve the 'cravings' of a man.

Ok, first of all, there's that attitude of his. If you were on the street and a man was yelling at his younger brother for some stupid reason, would you find that man attractive after? If a women were to be able to handle that trauma coping personality then I kinda doubt that in this area of time, all his scars would have been an attractive factor to some people.
