Iden, Faxon, and of course, Volitakk!

Iden: Are you a very spiritual person? Why/why not?

I have...an interesting relationship with faith. Technically speaking as it comes to my beliefs, I’m agnostic. While I don’t disregard the concept of an higher power completely, I don’t believe that any gods we believe in exist. It just seems rather implausible for me that we mere mortals would know what is above us, and much more likely that if a higher power exists, it would be something beyond our comprehension and understanding

That being said, I do respect spirituality as a concept a ton and think it is important for humanity as whole. Faith/belief in concepts beyond the material is a way to keep ourselves sane. If we have something we believe in, it keeps us grounded, and acts an anchor. Of course there’s the danger of being too deep head of grounds, but I do think spirituality is important (ftr I don’t think spirituality and faith is the only way to do this, but it’s one alternative)

As for myself... I’m not really the most spiritual person myself. I do have a lot of respect for spirituality, but it isn’t really something I do myself. I do have a few rituals/rites and believe in some superstitions, but that’s about it really

Faxon: Favourite animal?

BUNNY. I love bunnies so much they are cute fluffy creatures who make such fluffy creatures with cutest noises (seriously have you ever listened to a bunny sneeze? It’s too adorable I tell you). I love looking pictures of bunnies so much they’re so cute. I also really like kittens. Cats are fine and all but kittens  are my one true weakness. Show me a picture of a kitty and I will scream the decibels that could shatter glass/JOKE

It’s funny because had you asked this a few years ago I would’ve probably answered something like reptiles, moths, aquatic creatures (ESPECIALLY EELS), birds (ESPECIALLY corvids,I really like corvids) or snakes. I was very “I like animals but only the ones that aren’t basic ass bitch mammals” and now I’m just “kittens and bunnies kittens and bunnies”

Also since I know some may be curious about my stance on irl spiders I GUESS I like Irl spiders but I noticed that I just really like spider motifed characters for some reason

Also fun fact: While I never have seen myself as the biggest animal lover (I really like some animals but it isn’t a corner stone of my life like some things), I apparently liked animals a LOT as a kid according to my mom given that I read a lot of animal books and one of my favorite kids shows was an animal quiz/edutaiment show.

Volitak: What would you do if you couldn’t be seen or heard for a day?

AH YES my urlsake. I’m honestly sooo happy you asked for Volitak, it is my namesake mask after all, and kinda a favorite  Also  I mean if you aren’t asking me, tumblr user kanohivolitak, volitak, then what are you doing with your ife XD/JOKE

What would I do if I couldn’t be seen or heard for a day. This is a good question (puts thinking cap on).

I’m not really someone who breaks law, so I wouldn’t really use it to something like that. Maybe to sneaksomewhere or go to a place where I couldn’t go.  Alternatively maybe spy someone. Dunno, there’s possibilities, but also can’t really think of anything concrete atm.

Akaku, Mahiki, Creation

Akaku: Are you a very perceptive person? Why do you think so/not?

I like seeing myself as a perceptive person. I am someone who often likes observing and analyzing the things I observe, and forming deep and interesting observations based on what I notice. I like forming my opinions on topics, but also like learning about others perspectives,even those who are opposite to my own. I wholeheartedly believe that learning and understanding others views is a way to make world a better place, as I believe a lot of conflict and strife comes from lack of understanding others and seeing ones perspective as the absolute truth, instead of just one vision of world. This is why I strive to understand others perspectives the best I can, as I believe it will help me to understand the world better and fight ignorance and narrowmindness. Of course some perspectives are narrow and harmful, but I do believe understanding why someone would believe harmful ideologies is important in combating them rather than going to a black-white tribalistic thinking (which I am not immune of, I am a human and a rather intense feeling one at that, but I try my best to combat my own narrow thoughts).

That being said, I'm someone who is more perceptive when it comes to people or larger concepts. I'm not really someone who is perceptive of my surroundings due to being rather a head in the clouds type of person often time. (That and a lot of surroundings I visit tend to be the same so there isn't really much to observe)

Mahiki: Do you change your demeanour/personality for others, or stay much the same no matter who you are with? Why?

This is actually a fascinating question.

To an extent I believe myself to be a chameleon of sorts, and change my demenaor based on what type of people are around. I understand that there's time and place for things, and that sometimes it’s best to try to be something else.

I am also somewhat of a people pleaser. I want people to like me and moreoften than not I feel for that I need to have the same opinions as them. This means sometimes I’m willing to change my own opinions if it means I think others will like me more.

That being said, there are aspects of me that. I tend to be a relatively opionated person, so even if I wanted, it’s very hard for me to CHANGE my opinion just so it aligns with someone elses. In additon....I’m kinda that kind of person whohas hard time changing their behavior. I’m  loud, a bit weird, and more often than not a lot of aspects of my core personality are there even if I didn’t want them to. I just need to adjust myself.

Creation: Are you creative? What do you create?

I would say I am creative. I love to create things, and consider my creativity and imagination being one of my greatest assets, even if Im not the best at it, admittely

Regarding what I create, I consider myself a Jack of All Trades of sorts, as I both love and am good at lot of things. I write (both fiction and nonfiction), draw, play piano, sing, voice act (for fun). You name it, there’s a chance I have tried it at some point. Heck I even dream of doing something ambitous, like making a game, or an audiodrama. There’s so much to do, and so little time and energy it makes me bad.
