A gift for the lovely @kankuroplease. Thank you for always creating such wonderful characters. Botan Hoshigaki is a precious baby and he deserves lots and lots of love.

Summary: It's set in the Naruto universe and is about a humble malewife working at a bathhouse and an assassin with mommy energy.

Just a little more… There! The last bit of skin withdrew, shrinking back a smidge as I finished decapitating the man I just assassinated. It was a hassle really. How is someone supposed to be sneaky when you’re lugging around an entire head? Looking down at the ground, there was a large pool of blood, much of it starting to sink and wet my tabi. I sighed, forgetting for a moment that I was supposed to be quiet, though… What would be more unrealistic? Not a single sound in the room this man was supposed to be staying in? Or some sounds that might not be what was expected but still within reason? 

Whatever the answer, it was already done, and at least now I can inactivate my sharingan. I took a look at the head that I was holding by the hair. The eyes still looking back at me made me shutter, so I lowered the lids to close those icy grey eyes. Bath houses… One of the easiest places to assassinate men. Let them drink up, relax, and when they’re nice and buzzed! Slit to the throat! I shook my head and looked around the room, only to find there was no window… Just the one singular door from which I came through. If I were to try to leave that route, the bath would be in clear line of sight of the body and pool of blood. 

I really didn’t want to have to clean up… I hate cleaning! Maybe I should’ve just done it outside. Something quick and then run. Always carry a katana, I thought while shaking my head as I stepped out of the pool of blood. Sure, they’re bulkier to carry around, but at least it’s a quick clean sweep. Gripping onto the wet yukata, I shrugged and grabbed onto the man’s shoulders, trying to drag him further away from the door after having placed the head on the nearby table.

The man was a lot heavier than he looked, must be more muscle in there than I thought. Just as I turned the body so it was now out of the line of sight of the door leading to the spring, the door behind me to the hall opened. "Mr. Hashimoto, I-" the sound of ceramic breaking and more liquid splashing was behind me as I froze. 

"Oh dear…" I expressed while I straightened. "That sounds like more mess to clean." I remarked before looking over my shoulder, my neck hanging back to see a tall man already in a defensive stance. 

He had black hair that framed his face, strands tucked behind his ears and one strand that fell between his eyes. It was silky and smooth, much like his skin. There were lines, nay, gills beneath his eyes that demarcated the Hoshigaki decent. Not surprising given who owned the bathhouse… Some Hoshigakis. Between those lines and his eyes were some black marks like a part of his skin. It framed his eyes… Made the icy blue that much more vivid. 

"Well aren't you a cutie pie?!" I chimed before twirling around on the balls of my feet to face him. He staggered for a moment, his face flushed and brows furrowed before shaking his head and regaining his defensive stance. "I'm not looking to fight sweetie…" I explained before taking a look at the severed head. "I'm just looking to complete a job." I warned while peeking at him from the corner of my eye. He tightened his grip around the handle of the kusarigama. "I can feel the sexual tension between us!" I giggled while spinning the kunai in my hand before letting it hang with my finger still through the hole. 

He grunted before loosening his grip, flustered but still watching cautiously as I lowered my hand and placed the kunai on the table next to the head. While letting out a sigh of relief, he started to tuck away the chain and weight into and around his obi, letting the weapon hang. It was cute how defenseless he was and how oblivious he was about it in these small little moments. While he was tying his weapon up, I started to approach him, sliding up my mask and letting my hips sway. 

Those pretty eyes widened a bit, his hunched demeanor getting a bit more stiff and erect as I approached. It was like he was both trying to hold his ground but inch away from me at the same time. I clicked my tongue while running my clean hand down the hem of his yukata, letting my fingers brush against his skin. When I looked up at him from behind my lashes, it was clear to see his cheeks dusted pink, but the frown still remained. 

"I'm sorry I made such a mess… I normally take the money I find on them, but… I'll leave that for you for your trouble." I purred while resting my hand on his chest before he brushed it off. After taking a step back, he looked away. Rather, he looked up past and above me towards the wall behind. 

"Why aren't you on your way?" He shifted with his arms now across his chest, but still looking away from me. Can't have that… 

My hand gripped his chin, forcing him to look at me. I think I like him… 

Smoothing my other hand over his shoulder, I rested my hand at the back of his neck. Before I gave him a chance to react, I made him hunch further so his ear was by my lips. "You're handsome." I stated before biting my lip. "I'll make sure to come back." As I backed away I let my hands smooth over his chest, walking back to the head as I heard him coughing. 

"Please don't." He finally mustered with me grabbing the hair and lifting the head off of the table. 

"Too late." I hummed while swinging the head with my arm and a skip in my step while heading towards the back door. "Don't worry, next time I'll make sure the only mess I help make is yours ." I emphasized after sliding open the screen and peeking back to watch him cough into his fist. Once I noticed I caught his eye, I gave him a wink and disappeared into the night.

Kankuroplease did an amazing job at depicting them in their youth, well actually just them in general! And thank you Yamanaka-Shin for this gift!

Taking her hand in his as they sat in under the warm afternoon sunlight. Shibi cautiously looked around before turning her soft palm around in his grasp to where her it was facing upwards.

As she felt this Kin looked down to her heart, brushing some of her hair out of her face and tucking it behind an ear. A quaint smile finding its way to the corners of her lips as she saw and coincidentally felt his lips press themselves against her skin.

“If you’re not careful someone might think you like me.” The red head teased. Honey brown eyes crinkling under the weight of her smile as she noted his quick head turn.

Evidently trying to hide the embarrassment that jolted through him as a ‘Tsk’ escaped his lips. He did like her, but he didn’t need others to know that with overpowering displays.

His feelings were for him and him- well for him and her- alone.
