one time thing ➳ k. minhee
pairing : cravity's kang minhee x gn!reader
word count : 855
warnings : like two curse words ?? lol
synopsis : ever the good students, you and minhee will do anything to get a good grade, including spending a day with each other.
you and kang minhee never got along. not when you were children, and not now, even in college.
everything was a competition for the both of you, whether it was being the best player on the soccer team, or having the best grades in school. you refused to lose to minhee, and he refused to lose to you.
life can be funny sometimes, but you and minhee definitely weren’t laughing when you saw your names listed together for a project. you shot each other glares from across the lecture hall. it was bad enough that you both decided to attend the same college, and chose the same major. now you had to work together? you were cursing the universe as your professor dismissed you, trying to leave the hall as fast as you could.
of course, you weren’t moving fast enough, because you soon felt minhee’s presence beside you.
“listen, i don’t want to be your partner either, but this is a big part of our grade.” minhee rolled his eyes when he noticed you were ignoring him, “you know what? fine, i’ll write the essay, you draw the visuals. i’ve always been a better writer than you, anyway.”
“as if.” you finally looked at him, “you are not better at writing than i am, kang. you’re not better than me at anything.”
“that’s not what our marks said last semester.” minhee snickered as your face fell into a scowl.
“you’re not writing that essay.” you huffed, and minhee raised an eyebrow at this.
“so, what then? do you want to do it together?” he joked, but he became serious when you nodded, “what? no way, y/n. i’m not spending my weekend with you of all people. i have a life, you know. i have something called friends, i’m not sure if you’re familiar with those.”
“by 'friends', do you mean hyeongjun?” you shot back, “i believe that’s just a friend. singular.”
“whatever. when and where are we meeting? i’d like to get it done all in one day, so let’s not meet too late, alright?”
“pushy much?” you pulled out your phone to check your calender, “i’m free tomorrow around noon. yunjin is going home for the weekend, so you can just come to my dorm. make sure you shower first, though. you smell.”
you could hear minhee cursing you out as you walked away from him, a grin forming on your face.
➳ the next day. noon.
minhee was knocking at your door exactly at noon.
i guess he really meant it when he said he wanted to be done as quick as possible, you thought.
opening the door, it took everything in you to not let your jaw drop. you’d never seen minhee dressed down before, and it was a miracle that he actually looked… good.
“are you gonna let me in, or are you just gonna stand there looking stupid?” his voice was laced with annoyance.
shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you moved out of the way so he could walk in, “don’t be an asshole. i think we established that neither of us want to be doing this, so don’t make it worse than it has to be.” you closed the door, leading minhee over to the small desk in the corner of the room.
minhee said nothing as he sat down, before he pulled his laptop out, and then his notes. sitting beside him, you couldn’t bring yourself to look away from him as he did so. you hated to admit it, but kang minhee was attractive.
“see something you like?” minhee’s voice broke you out of your thoughts for the second time since he’d been there, but this time, you could tell he was smirking.
shooting him a glare, you scoffed, “you wish, kang. don’t be so full of yourself, it isn’t a good look.”
“what if i did? wish you’d look at me like that more often, i mean.” minhee challenged, “what then?”
“what the fuck are you talking about? do you feel okay?” you spoke, despite the shock coursing through your veins.
“i feel fine.” minhee leaned closer to you, “what about you? how do you feel?”
refusing to back down, you stayed where you were, “fine.”
minhee just smirked as he leaned even closer. you could feel his breath on your face, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t anticipating his next move.
“is it okay…” he placed his hand on your cheek, “if i kiss you?”
“ew, don’t be gross.” you grinned before closing the gap between your lips.
pulling away after a few seconds, you and minhee could do nothing but stare at each other. had all of the hatred between the two of you blossomed into attraction? neither of you were sure.
“that was a one time thing. that’s not happening again.” you finally broke the silence.
“never again.” minhee agreed with a nod, beginning to type away on his laptop.
as you began to work beside him, you couldn’t hold back the smile that was forming on your lips.
rumor has it that it was most definitely not a one time thing.

[1:23pm] "And you swear that it won't look bad?" You couldn't help but grow worried as Minhee held a pair of scissors dangerously close to your hair.
"Who do you think I am? You're clearly underestimating me. I promise t-" Just then, the scissors snapped way closer to your ears than they should have. Minhee's eyes widened and met with your panicked ones.
"Don't worry. Pixie cuts are coming back in style, right?"

[09:17 a.m] you sit in your living room waiting for the latest episode of Produce x 101 to play again, anxiety surging through your veins. you weren’t necessarily a huge fan of shows like this. you thought they were cruel, but this season was different ever since you found out that your best friend, and middle school crush, kang minhee told you he was participating through his training label, starship entertainment. to be honest, you were regretted missing the episodes original airing, especially since you knew that minhee’s audition was in the first episode. but you were even more worried to know how minhee had done. you knew he worked hard, but also that he had a tendency to mess up once he got nervous. hence, you were nervous.

[6:55 pm] Opening the door to the gymnasium, you were met by loud cheers and the sound of basketballs bouncing against the floor. Looking around the room, you spotted the two teams warming up, dribbling around on the field and aiming the balls to the tall hoops on each side.
You walked over to your usual spot on the bleachers, on the bottom row next to your friends who were waving at you - but your eyes were glued to the field, looking for someone. And suddenly, there, shooting a three-pointer was Minhee. You smiled almost instinctively at the mere sight of him, a few drips of sweat running down his neck and his shirt clinging onto his body, but managed to tear your eyes from him to greet Hyeongjun and Woobin who were now laughing at how immersed you were in the game that hadn’t even started yet.
But just a few seconds later, Minhee was jogging over to where you were now sat. You cocked an eyebrow at him, confused at what he was doing, but he signaled with his hand for you to come closer, which you did. There was a little height difference as the bleachers were a bit over the ground, meaning that you were taller than Minhee for the first time ever.
“What are you doing? You need to warm up,” you hummed at him.
“Give me a kiss!” he started, and you chuckled. “It’s for...” He paused, looking like he was searching for the right words. “good luck.”
You shook your head, laughing lowly. “Are you serious?” He nodded quickly. “You’ve never needed it before!”
“Please?” He pouted, clasping his hands together in front of him as if he was begging you. You rolled your eyes but smiled, before crouching down to him, cupping his cheek in your hand and attaching your lips onto his in a sweet kiss.
You had to pull away from him the moment you heard hollers - not only from your friends next to you, but pretty much the entire hall. There were screams of “you go Minhee” and “get a room!”, making your cheeks grow hot as you stood up straight again, moving back to your seat. He looked up at you one more time, pointing at you and yelling “I’ll win this for you!”. You smiled and blew a kiss to him before he turned his back on you, running off to his team again - and that’s when your eyes landed on his coach, standing on the side of the field and shaking his head at your boyfriend.

ahh!! I love your writing 🥺♥️ could you do windows + minhee (x1 version)
Aww, thank you sweetie 🥺🥺💖💖
It was a fine Sunday morning when your dad decided it would be the perfect day for spring cleaning. So here you were cleaning windows at 12 pm when you could've been sleeping right now.
The window that was being dejectedly yet thoroughly being cleaned by you looked out on your front yard and the whole neighborhood. You would have played some upbeat music but unfortunately your dad had his playlist on shuffle and connected to the large speakers he owned.
Humming to the currently playing song that you never heard before, you used the opportunity to look out for the cute neighbour who lived adjacent to your house.
The tall, strapping boy was quite easy and pleasant on the eyes and was a delight to be around, or as your father heard from you one too many times, 'straight out of an anime'.
Whilst cleaning and daydreaming about Kang Minhee, the cloth you were using slipped from your hand and landed pathetically on the floor. With a dramatic sigh, you bend down and pick up the orange coloured fabric before straightening up and almost having a heart attack when your eyes met with a smiley face and gleaming eyes, making you scream.
The very handsome face belonged to none other than Kang Minhee was laughing at your reaction. He waved from the other side of the glass panes and signalled for you to open the latch of the window you two were on opposite sides off.
You unlatch the hook and push the window outwards, an unamused expression directed towards the tall boy. "Hello to you too, Minhee", you muse to the boy who leaned forwards, hands on the window sill.
"Morning Y/N, I see you're busy with spring cleaning?", He chimed and peered into your house, nodding his head in approval. "And I see you find entertainment in people's fright. I guess I learn something knew about you everyday", you play along.
"Indeed...I was wondering... I hope it's not the wrong time to ask this..but I was wondering instead of you learning about me everyday..how about I learn a little more about you too?", He raises his eyebrow at his proposal. You pretend to think for a while, secretly praying it's going where you hope it's going. "And how so...?" You ask him, leaning forward as well.
"How about over a date? At the arcade? How does that sound?" He asks you with a hopeful smile. "It sounds great, Minhee" you return his smile with a shy one, butterflies erupting in your stomach.
"Great. I'll pick you up in the evening at 5. Wait for me." He messes your already messy hair, earning a protest from you which made him chuckle and mutter a 'cute'.
"See you in a couple of hours", he pays your hand softly, his eyes lingering before walking back to his house, turning back to give you one last wave and leaving you in a state of giddiness.

for the cravity word thing : stars ! thank you <3
stars w/ minhee
he always felt majestic. his eyes gleamed so brightly that it sent this rush of warmth up to my cheeks. his smile was otherworldly, so happy and wide, he never failed to make me reciprocate with a smile of my own. i had failed to notice all the little things he’d never mention though, the freckles dusting over his face always covered, the faltering smile, the chill that came over him when he was alone, the wavering glimmer of happiness dusting over his eyes.
that night would always be burned into the deep crevices of my mind. it always vividly repeated itself, though the pain it caused me dulled over the time the regret never failed consume me. ‘i should have been more careful. i should have paid more attention. i should have gone alone. i shouldn’t have let him come with me.’ each guilty thought consumed me. that very night i had been called into the woods, minhee trailed close behind me insisting it’d be safer if we went together, little did i know i’d leave the woods alone.
we arrived to the spot chosen, before i could even understand what was going on a spell had been thrown in our direction, heading straight at me i only stood still accepting my death there in the cold, dead, woods. that is until it never came. with eyes shut i heard curses, breaking branches as people fled, and a body falling right in front of me, to be more specific, minhee’s body.
he was cold. his eyes were dull, filled to the brim with pain. but he still smiled. he still smiled! he was dying right in front of me, laying weakly dying a painful death, and he still managed to give me a smile. my hands brushed over his cheeks and there i saw it, the freckles he’d told me about but never let me see, they were little stars. they gleamed, their lights slowly dimmed as he grew weaker. i found myself crying, my sobs worsening when he weakly reached out to stroke my hair, “when you look at the stars will you think of me?” i followed his gaze up to the sky and stared up at the sky, littered in stars brightly lighting up the sky.
“when you look at the stars will you think of me living instead of thinking of me dying? will you choose to remember our happiness instead of our pain?” his voice was weak, i held him close, i was shaking, i was trying my hardest to keep a smile on my face for him, “i’m sorry. will you stare into my eyes for the last moments i’m here? i don’t want to see anything else besides you.” gently loosening my grip i stared into his eyes, his eyes previously dull now held some small sense of comfort, his hand landed over mine which rested still on his chest, “i love you minhee.” i said softly watching his smile turning into a shy grin for the very last time, his eyes fluttered shut and his freckles now dimmed completely, “i love you more.”
he almost looked like he was sleeping. staying still i sighed hearing the sound of feet against the forest floor nearing minhee and i. resting my head against our hands, i began to cry once again, mind racing full of thoughts of him.
today staring up at the sky i think back to his questions, now staring up at the stars exactly two years after his death what to they mean to me? well a year ago they brought pain. now however, as i lay on the grass of me backyard, they bring some sense of comfort. a reminder of the starry freckles that gleamed that very night. they remind me of his eyes. the stars remind me of the majestic boy i once knew.

[4:28 pm] You mounted your broom, shooting a quick nod to your teammates before glaring at the brunette in front of you. Instead of mirroring your expression, quidditch rival!Minhee lifted his lips into a smirk, running a quick hand through his brown hair, which was slightly tousled by the wind, to make an effort to tame it.
“Don’t forget to pass by our house when we have our celebration party, Kang.” You said, lips pressed in a tight, sarcastic smile. This was the last match of the year, the first time your respective teams were going against each other this year, and you’ll be damned if you lost this again the guy you hated for all of the 6 years you were at Hogwarts until now, now that you were finally both captains of your respective teams.
“That can’t happen though, since we’ll win for sure.” Minhee still had that infuriating smirk on his face and if the match didn’t begin in around 2 minutes, you were sure you would have marched over to him and punched it off of his face.
“I expect you to maintain the same confidence when Dumbledore hands over the Quidditch Cup to us.”
“I mean, since you’re so cocky about it, let’s make a bet.” You raised your eyebrows, intrigued at the sudden proposition. “If your team wins, I’ll do all your homework for a week.”
“And if you win?”
“You’ll have to go on a date with me?”
“That seems fa- wait, what?”
“You heard me, captain, you’ll have to go on a date with me. Is Hogsmeade up to your standards? Or perhaps Diagon Alley?” Minhee was now stretching his arms behind his back, and even though you’d never admit it to yourself, let alone to him, you may have been a tad bit distracted when his shirt slightly rode up his stomach, exposing it. “Not to pressure you into making your decision, but there’s 30 seconds left until the match starts. Would be pretty dumb if you made your decision after the match.”
You gritted your teeth and cursed yourself for being so damn competitive. You had complete faith your team would win but when Minhee was putting you on the spot like this, you couldn’t help but feel flustered. You rolled your eyes and hesitantly muttered out,
“Fine. I accept. But only because there’s no way your team will win.”
Immediately, you see Minhee smile, a genuine smile and not a smirk for the first time, and you feel your breath hitch. Must be the adrenaline, that’s it, (Y/N). Not because of him.
“See you at Hogsmeade, the day after tomorrow, 5 pm. Don’t forget.” He winked before you heard the whistle go off and you kicked yourself up from the ground on your broom, surrounded by your teammates.
Maybe losing wouldn’t be that bad.

When She Loved Him— Kang Minhee
genre: (attempted) angst, hanahaki disease au
a/n: Something a little different from the usual soft hours and second person pov, i’ve been reading a heCk ton of anime ffs so i just had to use hanahaki 😭 Anyways, i’m not sure if this even has a pairing, Minhee doesn’t make much of an appearance but oh whale 🤷‍♀️
unedited, oops :0
Hanahaki Disease: An illness born from unrequited love, in which the patient coughs and throws up flowers. The only cure is for the feelings for that someone to be returned romantically, for the patient to lose feelings, or though a surgery. If the surgery is done, it will cause the patient to lose feelings in that person and could possibily lose their ability to love anybody again. If none of these actions are performed in a span of time, the patient will die.
Kang Minhee was completely oblivious to the feelings that Y/n had towards him until she was gone.
Subtle acts that she would perform, like dropping a milk carton on his desk every day during class and slipping small notes inside his locker, everybody seemed to be aware of her crush on the tall boy except for him.
But to say that Y/n had a small crush was an understatement. She was in love with him. She was in love with the boy who knew nothing more about her than her name and who she could barely hold a conversation with, without automatically turning red.
Y/n was cursed with loving a boy who had such low possibilities of loving her back, and it seemed to be that the universe was unsatisfied with the pain that came with unrequited love, that it decided to curse her with physical pain instead.
She didn’t know that when she would realize her feelings for the male, that she would cough up flowers the next day. Y/n always admired the white tea roses on display whenever she would pass by her local florist, perhaps she only liked it because she knew it was Minhee’s favorite flower.
They were beautiful none the less, but the moment that she were coughing them up she despised them.
She hated how such a beautiful flower could cause so much harm to her. White petals stained with blood flowed out of her mouth and onto the bathroom tile. They were no longer a symbol of love and hope, but rather death. They were a symbol that her first love would never love her back.
And it tore her to shreds.
“Listen to me Y/n, you need to tell your parents.” Wonjin placed a delicate hand on hers. He was the only person who was aware of her disease, he was a friend who she trusted to keep her secret.
The thought of telling her parents was always present in her mind. But no matter how many times she mapped the situation in her head, all scenarios ended poorly. Her parents were barely home as it is, working hard just to put food on their table. The news of her needing surgery could only cause harm, she was afraid that it would worry them due to their financial situation.
“I can’t.” Her voice came out strained. “It’ll just worry them even more, it’s better off if I just deal with it.”
Wonjin retracted his hand from hers, abruptly standing up as he stared furiously at the girl.
“Y/n listen to me!” His tone gained multiple stares from people around the cafe. Tears hung on the edge of her eyes as she clutched the sleeves of her sweater tight, feeling her nails pierce through the fabric and onto her bare palm.
“Does your life mean that little to you? And does he mean so much to you, that you would rather die than stop loving him?”
The tears that threatened to fall had flowed down her cheeks, as light sobs escaped her mouth. Why couldn’t she love Wonjin instead? Why had she become unlucky and fallen in love with a boy who she would never have a chance with?
She knew that all she was doing was cause even more harm to him, after all she was his first love. The moment that she told him she was in love with Minhee, it was like she heard his heart break into pieces.
He didn’t deserve to be dragged into her mess. Both of them were unlucky, as he fell in love with a girl who was already stuck in a one sided love and couldn’t get out.
“If I could stop loving him, I would do it in a heartbeat.” Her voice came out between sobs shaky and strained. “But none of them is their fault. Minhee, my parents, none of them. And they dont deserve to live with that burden, so I cant! I cant tell them!”
There was a silence between the two of them that made her uncomfortable. She was afraid to meet his gaze, to see his eyes that were glassy with tears, his face flushed red in anger.
“You were always so selfless..” His voice softened into a barely audible whisper. “So please, why can’t you be selfish just this once?”
Wonjin bit his lip to stop any tears from escaping. He looked at her frail figure, her sleeve over mouth to muffle her sobs. He wanted to comfort her, but he was too hurt on why she would put people’s feelings over her own life.
He sighed when she didn’t respond, taking out his wallet he placed a bill on the table for a tip.
“I’m going home for the day, i’ll see you on monday.” He said, taking one last glance at y/n before exiting out of the cafe.
He didn’t know that would be the last time he would see her again.
Y/n’s bathroom was a clash of red white and green that day. Thorns scraping at her throat, dragging across her tongue and her lip, drawing blood. Its metallic smell contaminated the poorly ventilated room, and it’s taste was no better.
It became hard for her to breath. More and more petals spilled out of her mouth, smothered with her blood and saliva, thorns, and sometimes the entire flower itself. She clawed at her throat, sobs attempting to escape but them being muffled due to the never ending amount of flowers trying to get out of her air passage.
“P-Please!!” She cried desperately, gasping for air as a river of tears flowed down her cheeks. She didn’t expect to die like this. In her stuffy bathroom while her parents were at work, being suffocated by flowers that didn’t seem to end.
She felt her life flash before her eyes, and she hated how they were all glimpses of him. His soft hair that made you want to run your fingers through them, his light gaze, his caring personality. The time where they first met two years ago in the classroom, when she felt sparks go through her fingers when she made contact with him while handing him a pen.
Then all she saw was red. Hot angry tears were burning her face as she tried to steady her breathing. Why? Why her out of everyone? Why did she have to be so gullible to fall in love with a guy who wasn’t even worth all of this pain? When a person is in love, its supposed to feel like a breath of fresh air. But when she loved him, all she got was pain.
Her breathing couldnt keep up with the amount of flowers that were urging to erupt from her throat. She didn’t want to die. Not over him, and not over anybody. But she knew that her body was too weak, and it was desperate to end this fight. She thought back to her family, Wonjin, and Minhee, and with one final breath she leaned her back against the wall and let her throat close up with white roses until she could no longer breath.

lessons to lovers ➳ h. wonjin
pairing : ham wonjin x gn!reader
genre : fluff
summary : wonjin has a crush, but is handling it very poorly.
a/n : this has been sitting in my drafts for a while and i've been having insanely bad writers block so i've decided to post it.. i'm not the happiest with how it came out but i think it's cute nevertheless.
despite being quite loud around his friends, and simply just in general, wonjin had a hard time expressing his feelings. most times, he'd avoid them in hopes they'd go away. however, this time, it was seemingly impossible.
on his first day of university, he happened to sit beside you. just like in some cheesy romance movie, you had asked him if you could borrow a pen as you'd forgotten yours. he gladly handed you one, taking in your facial features. wonjin felt his heart skip a beat when you nodded and mumbled a quick 'thanks'. he knew it was kind of stupid, but he couldn't help himself.
he only found himself thinking about you more after you'd failed to return his pen until the following day. he didn't expect you to remember, and when you did, he thought he could explode. he knew he shouldn't feel like this about someone he'd exchanged no more than twenty words with, but there was something about you that he couldn't get past.
all of that, plus a few more encounters with you, led him to where he was now. he saw you sitting in the library on your own, and figured now was as good a chance as any to try and talk to you for real. beside him sat his friend, jungmo, who was his #1 hype man… and also the only person he knew wasn’t busy.
“dude, just go up and say hi. the worst they can do is tell you to go away,” jungmo reasoned with wonjin, who was nervously shaking his leg, “if it helps, they probably won’t call the cops on you.”
after rolling his eyes at the older boy, he grabbed his books and stood up, slowly making his way over to you. he was thankful that you were so immersed in your textbook, since you didn’t notice him at all. with a deep breath, he slowly placed his books on the table in front of you. when you looked up, you could see the slight panic in his eyes, prompting you to laugh.
“oh, hey wonjin. did you wanna sit here?” you asked, catching him off guard, but he nodded and quickly took a seat across from you.
you two quickly got into a discussion about the lesson you’d had a day earlier, and how it made absolutely no sense to either one of you. wonjin was relieved you two had gotten on so easily, even if it was through talking about the one thing he wanted to avoid. as you rambled on, he kept sneaking little glances at you. what he didn’t know was that you’d seen every. single. one. you found it cute, and could see right through his little plan.
“you didn’t come here to study, did you?” you questioned him, causing him to shift in his seat.
“of course i did,” he scoffed, “what else do you go to the library for?”
“to talk to the person you’ve been staring at for the past ten minutes,” you raised an eyebrow, “or am i just seeing things?” wonjin was silent across from you, suddenly finding the table very interesting. how could you have known? he’d thought this out so well, right?
right?
defeated, wonjin let out a sigh, “okay, fine. but to be fair, my original plan was to study until i saw you here. i’ve wanted to talk to you, y/n, really.. but i never know what to say. my brain gets kinda… scrambled whenever i try to.”
you blushed a little, finding it adorable how he was so nervous to talk to you. you’d heard about this happening to other people, but it had never happened to you. it seemed like you were living in some sort of teen drama as you were listening to wonjin’s confession.
“i’ve wanted to talk to you too, you know. but you make it hard by running away each time i say hi.” you watched his facial expression change to one of embarrassment, “but don’t worry. it only made me more intrigued, if that helps.”
“i guess this is the part where i ask you out huh?” he laughed, seemingly talking to himself before finally looking up at you, “y/n, would you like to catch a movie this weekend?”
“as long as you don’t run away each time i talk to you, i’d love to.” you nodded, “let me give you my number, okay?”
wonjin watched as you pulled out a little notepad. after a few seconds, you hadn’t made any move to write yet. this made him a little nervous, he wasn’t gonna lie. luckily, his nervousness would soon subside when you spoke again.
“hey, wonjin?”
“yes?”
“can i borrow a pen?”

[9:16 AM] Kang Minhee
Tumblr media
Today was absolutely one of the worst days ever. I just got rejected by my crush today in front of everyone, and it was so humiliating. This was how I ended up crying in the school garden with my best friend, Kang Minhee.
“Y/N, this is the sixth person who rejected you, you can’t keep giving attention to guys who don’t deserve your time” Minhee sighed angrily. I have been rejected so many times, and Minhee witnessed them all, and let’s just say, I was a mess through all of them, but not once did he complain.
“I’m sorry, but it’s not my fault these guys don’t like me, I’m starting to think I don’t have a chance with anyone anymore. Minhee I feel like I annoy everyone with my personality” I sighed, and cried even more. “Y/N, then you wouldn’t be my best friend if you were annoying” Minhee said gently, while rubbing my back to calm me down.
“You’re probably used to how annoying I am—” before I could even say anything else, Minhee kissed me. I couldn’t think of anything else, sparks were flying, and in that moment he felt like my home. Once we pulled apart, we stared at each other with flushed cheeks. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to” Minhee avoided eye contact, and I giggled. “Minhee, thank you, you’re the only person who made me feel loved when I had nobody...” I said softly, nad hugged him tightly, maybe I actually found someone who can finally make me feel loved and help me learn how to love, not only myself, but others as well.

[9:51pm] Clutching the metallic bar in front of you as if your own life was about to slip away, you screamed at the boy sitting next to you to stop rocking the Ferris wheel seat.
"You idiot! Do you have a death wish?!" Minhee found great pleasure in seeing you so stress out about such a mundane situation. This only fuelled him to increase his body movements, causing the seat to swing even higher. Out of instinct, your hands left the bar to latch themselves on Minhee's arm.
"I swear as soon as we get out of here, I'm going to kill you."
"Sure you will." Minhee chuckled nonchalantly, your threats not affecting him one bit, since the only reasoning behind his acts was to get closer to you.

[ 13:34 ]
part 3 of the bff minhee blurb! [ you can find part 1 & part 2 here ]
note: angst
you make your way to the rooftop of the school. it wasn't near, and the bell was about to ring, but you didn't really care at the moment.
you've spent many months trying to muster up the courage to tell minhee about your feelings for him only for it to be ruined when you found out he liked someone else.
great, you think. i lost a best friend and i'm going to fail my first subject because of this.
you finally reach the left wing of the school's building where the flight of stairs going to the rootftop is.
you climb the stairs and finally push the door, releasing yourself into the warm sunlight.
you walk towards one end of the rooftop, running a hand through your hair. at least here, minhee wouldn't be able to see you cry, see you regret that decision of telling him, see you look pathetic.
you sigh. "why do i have to like you, kang minhee. of all the people in this school, it had to be you.."
you lean onto the wall and slide down until you're seated. you weren't ready to see minhee in class like nothing happened. peoole are going ask, of course. and you didn't want to answer any of the questions. you were sure what they would say.
maybe liking him was a bad idea.
why do you have to like your own best friend?
just look for someone else, there are plenty of other guys.
you sigh. would they understand?
the door going back in the building suddenly swings open, and you groan in frustration. of course he'd be able to track you down. you were his best friend after all. he knew you all too well, so it wasn't easy to get rid of him.
"minhee, leave me alone!" you call out.
but instead of minhee coming out from the inside, it was someone else. he was just a bit shorter than your former best friend, he had brown hair, and chinky eyes as he squinted into the sunlight.
"oh.. i'm not minhee," the boy says.
you feel your cheeks heat up in embarrassment. "s—sorry," you say. "i thought you were him."
the boy chuckles as he walks towards you. "running away from your boyfriend?" he asks.
you shake your head. "more like an ex best friend. what are you doing here?"
"just wanted some fresh air," he says, sitting next to you, leaving a good amount of space between the two of you. "you know we're in one school so you're bound to see him again, right?"
you sigh. "i know. i just... needed fresh... air."
the boy lets out a soft laugh. "of course you do. what's your name?"
"y/n."
he then holds out a hand for you to shake. "junho."
okAY i put some chacha action in there heh. idk where i'm going tbh?? it's looking like a whole au and idk if you guys would want that lmao but i'm writing it anyway bc i want to. i hope you liked that one. of course, a part 4 will come lmao
